And how does the game detect a "face camp" then?
To be fair, the game already detects if you are remaining near the hook without a survivor so it would definitivly be possible to just add another area closer to the hook
Not that it's going to happen but still wouldn't be that hard
On topic while facecamping sucks it's not really that big of a deal.it happens like once every 100 games or something

Clown has pop goes the weasel wich is one of the strongest anti gen perks imo but he is a killer that struggles
All of Plague's perks are good and/or fun. I don't personly like her as a killer but a lot of people do. I think. She does have horrible point and pip issues though.
Myers is just really fun to play, STBFL is his best perk. And Dying Light helps you protect those last generators near the end He just has so much different playstyles you can never really get bored with Myers
Haven't played much Oni so i can't really give my oppinion on him
Pig is also really fun to play and has some stall, but she can also struggle if you don't get quick downs to take advantage of her traps
And Bubba is not that good of a killer but has the ultimate farming tool known as BBQ
That my 2 cents about it
-
When you swing your nerfbat so much you accidentilly start nerfing outside of your game
-
Hag teleport used to be the same button
Imagine trying to break a pallet and suddenly your quarter of a map away because of a trap that was triggered by a survivor that's long gone
Trapper should indeed get the same treatment of changing the button
-
Hell yeah

Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Had a funny game today actually
Ran an endgame build of brutal strenght, fire up, bamboozle and bloodwarden as Legion
All survivors were alive when all generators popped, multiple on deathhook
Got one of the deathhooks they opened the gates before i hooked her, nobody got out
It's so satisfying when it works
-
I hate going against a hag as solo
So many people just give her make your choice for free
The most annoying thing is when they crouch to unhook you and after they unhooked you they trigger the trap anyway
Just why? You clearly know crouching won't trigger her traps

I've seen multiple good killers say they don't use it because they don't plan on losing the game but go off I guess
Using bad perks does tend to lose games yeah
Just want underused perks to be made more usefull. On both sides actually.
-
@gantes said:
I mean, you can paint it as "different playstyles" all you want, but I've rarely seen good killer players run endgame perks because their gameplan revolves around playing well across the game, not poorly
You rarelly see any killer use end game perks cause they are all kinda bad
I find it a shame you never see perks like Bloodwarden cause everybody does it's counter anyway
You should make a special effort to counter a perk. Not just do what you always do

You're comparing apples to oranges.
Adrenaline awards a survivor for lasting until the last generator popped (fyi, surviving is their main objective)
Blood warden (and NoED, etc) rewards killers for failing to stop the survivors (fyi, killing is their main objective)
Don't like BT? Don't camp. Or use insidious. Or wait for the BT timer to run out before swinging. Or hit the rescuer, let the unhook happen, and down the rescuer.
Once again. Killer objective is to stop survivors from escaping.
They haven't failed anything yet when all 5 gens are done

No, that doesn't seem fair. 99ing the gates is a counter to the perk. Otherwise it would just grant one extra minute of game for free.
Endgame perks aren't supposed to be that strong. I'd rather not add stuff that rewards the killer for losing the game.
The killer hasen't "lost" the game at that point
The game isn't over until you escaped. Not a moment sooner
The counter to that bloodwarden would just be to open the gates asap if someone is hooked
I honestly would love to see more perk viarity. But that won't happen if all perks are so easilly countered
-
Huntress
I'm like a magnet to hatchets
-
I would prefer changing Bloodwarden that it can be activated as soon as the gates are powered and if activated before they are open that the timer won't start untill they are open
That way you have an option to counter the 99% gate strat but you have to spend a perk on it
Seems fair no?
-
I don't play much clown but wouldn't exposed perks work well with him?
Like Haunted ground or make your choise?
With how a good clown can shut off loops that one hit should be easy to get right?
-
With the hex:ruin change all hexes now require time to reach full effect. Which is a good thing but with how quickly hex totems seem to be cleansed it really limites their effectivness
Is it possible that hex totems will be relooked at and be given a respawn timer or simular mechanic that softens the blow when the totem goes 30 sec into the trial?

Does Unnerving Pressence work with iridescent button?
It does work, as do other terror radius based perks like the clown one
I wouldn't recommend Unnerving Pressence though because when you face survivors who can hit great skillchecks, you're actually helping them
-
I'll slug if i see another target and i know i'll get a hit/down/pallet out of it
Or if i know one of the gens is going to pop if i don't go there asap
-
I would prefer not too. I actually very often have nice convertation with the other players after the match
-
That's more of a case that people seem to have forgotten how to out their critisism in a civel manner rather then just the "pitchfork and torch" way

This is no bait and i'm talking about reworking, not nerfing.
Did all the killer mains from the steam forums invade this place?
If this actually wasen't a bait then i would advice you to word things differently
Using almost the exact same words as the survivor bias dev note is a sure way of nobody taking you seriously
-
Doesn't insidious give you 'undetectable' and thus immune to kindred and other aura reading perks?
-
This obviously a bait but i do want to add that i quite like going against Ghostface
The fact that he can come out of nowhere brings back some scare factor to this game

Today I learned I do not play the game. Here I was thinking I've been playing the game for the past 3-4 years, but it turns out I was launching the wrong game all along.
I always thought you were the AI the devs were developing :O

@Kagari_Leha Ummm. It's just a title. Lol. Read my explanation. Franklin's? U mean the perk that makes them drop it then they can just pick it back up. Thanks for the very very very good advice ππππ
When you see a key in the lobby:
Pick Leatherface
Equip Franklin's Demise
Hit and drop the key
Camp the key
One less key to worry about

It's so confusing right?
Really made me realise how important sounds are in this game

Monstrous shrine
Although overwhelmig precence actually works against you if the survivors are good at hitting greats
-
Aah didn't realise this was already made
Thanks

I personly prefer empathy over bond because i find the range on bond to be really limited

I don't think Sloppy works anymore with Legion's Frenzy hits.
You still use m1 to down them
I personly would only run it in a slug build but it can work normally as well
-
Bassicly a lot of perks work really well on Legion, just avoid the exposed ones and experiment with what you like
I'm going to try Beast of Prey a bit after seeing how well the dark devotion undetactable status helped get cheeky hits
Not sure how well it's going to work but i'll never know until i try
-
I once had a survivor throw a salt bucket at me because i lured the killer away from him after he got downed
Turns out his DS timer run out by the time the killer got back

I guess it's controversial but I love to run Nurses Calling on Legion. People need to heal frequently against Legion so you'll end up finding people often. If they try the just mend and no heal tactic, everyone will be one hit down regardless. It's win-win. but my personal build for Legion is Nurses, Thanataphobia, Sloppy Butcher, and Ruin. Thana and sloppy work well together to slow down the game even after Ruin is popped, then you use Nurses to find people. If you NEED BBQ then I'd swap out Nurses.
Yes nurses is also pretty good dispite what people say
Bassicly anything that allows you to chase better or be able to catch survivor off guard will do wonders
Been running Spies from the Shadows for a couple of games and it also pretty often lets me find injured survivors in a deadzone
-
Duration addons are a must imo
Either the green one or the yellow and brown one combined. You can do it without them but you'll really feel it in your ability to chain hits
Other addons worth running are the yellow and green pins. Stab wound and Franks mixtape are completelly useless unless you want to meme. And the Killer Instinct range increase hurts more then it help IMO
For perks i find PGTW a must but you can do without if your confident in your ability to keep pressure. New Ruin is also pretty good on Legion but it's a gamble if the totem stays up.
Blood echo is really good to prevent dead hard and sprint burst to mess up your chain hits
Discordence to know what gen to pressure most and where the most survivors are to allow for chain hits
Infectious Fright cause if they refuse to heal you can gain massive snowball potential for slugging and downing them all around you
Thanatafobia is also pretty good as it scares survivors into healing. The time you get from it is little but it's very easy to activate on Legion
Other then that chase perks like enduring+spirit fury or bamboozle because after you injure them with frenzy the last hit all comes from your m1 skills
Nemesis and dark devotion is also pretty good to get some sneaky hits
-
I like just zooming across the map
His speed while cloaked is the thing i like about him the most
-
They can't remove ranking though, it's tied to steam achievments

Otzdarva proved you actually can, and a dev confirmed they wont be changing it.
Going to post the link here as well as proof
-
I'm not going to quit. I actually enjoy it
Trick is not to take this game too serious and just have fun with it
-
I do have to say that without nemesis i find it quite inconsistent. So that could be a reason people don't want to use it

I wouldnt admit that, for me legion has a clear difference from survivors. But on legion dark devoition is a good perk.
Could be the survivors i was facing at that time were just blind. All i know that they where looking at me and just ran into my arms

Sure didn't work when I tried it. Definitely didn't work for me as Doctor because it was literally the first thing I tried when the perk came out and the survivor I was trying to shock literally just stood there and began spamming the 'point' emote at me.
If you can provide the video, I'd appreciate it.

It's great. I use it from time to time on Legion. He looks so much like a survivor people run into me even after seeing me xD

Currently it does not work, and I don't believe it will work after the rework either.
The thing with Dark Devotion is that it reduces your terror radius to 0, and gives the survivor a new terror radius, which is always 32 meters regardless of what your current one was (if you're Huntress with 20 meter radius and use dark devotion, survivor still gets a 32 meter terror radius). It does not transfer your terror radius on to the survivor. Otherwise perks like Nurses Calling, Coulrophobia, Unnerving, etc etc, would all work -- and they don't.
I will assume if you use Dark Devotion and try to use static blast, it will just zap nobody because your terror radius is of course, 0 meters.
What? I saw a video where it does work
Otz tested it i think
It does in fact work, every terror radius related power/perk works with dark devotion
Pls don't spread misinformation without being sure
-
I would prefer if toolboxes didn't affect the gen speed at all anymore
But made the great skillcheck zone bigger
They would still speed up gens but experienced players who can hit greats anyway won't gain that much of a benifit
It's a way to nerf them for the red ranks while not affecting lower ranks as much
-
Gatekeeper should change with the next patch so that should be easier
Bugged in the Ptb though so we haven't been able to test it
-
I also think they never ask about perk changes. Could be wrong though
-
Don't use it for the sole reason of not having it
I would if i had it i think
Probably not in an BM way but like with Q&Q maybe and hope they don't check the Locker before it's active
-
Would be nice if it's true
More perk combo's would sattisfy my inner Johny combo player
