Cloaked Wraith with the shadow dance add-ons and Brutal Strength would basically be able to delete pallets.
-
- They don’t want to get good at Ruin skillchecks.
- To prevent grabs. I wouldn’t be surprised if more Survivors are gen tapping now to avoid grabs just to make it harder for Killers to get the new achievement.
-
It was available for 24 hours. It closed around 10 AM yesterday.
-
Chaser has been a ######### Emblem ever since the system was introduced. Instadown Killers suffer greatly because their points are not doubled when they use their power. Clown and Doctor’s powers are about doing something else to make the Survivor easier to hit (throwing a bottle or shocking them). Trapper’s traps don’t even count for some stupid reason. It (and the whole Emblem system) needs some fixes.
-
There is no new Survivor. It’s only Ghostface this time, so more people are playing Killer. On PS4, I used to find games in a few seconds before he came out, but now it’s taking anywhere from 2-6 minutes.
-
Lol what? You’re not supposed to do just about anything in tier 3. How are you supposed to mend a deep wound while going mad? Think about how stupid that would be. You can’t repair gens, heal Survivors, or use items but you can still mend a deep wound? Just mend while in the terror radius. Simple as that.
-
Doctor’s actually in a decent state, however, he does have some problems that need looking at. I think the only buffs he needs are:
- Increase the range of his shock therapy by 25%. It is way too small at base. I feel like this is his biggest problem because he has to be so close to Survivors to shock them and at that point, you’ll probably be better off just hitting them with your weapon instead. Nerf the range add-ons to compensate.
- Increase movement speed while charging up the shock to 105% or 110%.
- Either decrease the time for switching modes or remove it completely (just pressing M2 will start to charge the shock).
- I think this is more of a me thing than an actual problem with Doctor, but his illusions should spawn on the same floor as the Survivor being tracked. I find it annoying when I’m on a multifloored map like The Game and my illusion spawns on the top floor when the Survivor is actually on the bottom floor.

Don't know if y'all realize, but Rotten Fields has a higher survival rate than HF. Not saying HF isn't bad(think it's top 5), just saying.
Those statistics aren't really accurate because of other factors like DCs and farming. If a map has a 60% survival rate, 20% of that could be from Killer DCs or farming games. The devs only showed us the percentages, not what made them up.
-
I guessed on the cosmetic ones. I didn’t expect to get a 100. Guess I know more about DbD than I thought I did.
-
I got a 100 but it wasn't within the first hour unfortunately.
-
I’m really hoping that the queue times go back down to a few seconds for everybody. It really sucked having to wait 2-6 minutes for a single lobby.
-
I’m surprised that Badham is being reworked first instead of Haddonfield. It’s the only map in the game that still has multiple infinites. It really needs to be disabled until the devs fix it. I’m sorry if you like the map because of how it looks and not for the insane loops, but too many Survivors are abusing the loops to guarantee themselves a victory.
-
I think I know what perk you're talking about, and I am not surprised at all. These players just want to ruin the events for others and think it's hilarious. Wouldn't be surprised if they're the same players who thought MoM didn't need the nerf.
-
It’s because DS always seems to need something stupid about it. First it was the perk giving a free escape to everybody, then it was giving one Survivor an instant free escape (the other three could get it later on), and now it’s that you can get hit with it even if you don’t tunnel. The perk needs to either deactivate when a Survivor interacts with something or after the Killer hooks another Survivor.
-
It’s at the very bottom of the patch notes. Just scroll all the way down to the “Known Issues” section. This is a visual bug.
-
I've had multiple situations where I swing at a Survivor and my weapon hits an object instead, allowing them to continue the loop. This didn't happen as much before the "fix". I think it needs to be reverted.

Now who's laughing! Wake up is meta now! In all seriousness let this thread die because devs most likely know I don't want to wake up tomorrow to seeing every survivor running wake up.
I didn't even know how Wake Up was bugged until this post. I wouldn't be surprised if more Survivors start to run it, probably to make up for the loss of their precious MoM.
-
No, they were always meant to be this way. I think you're just gotten used to sounds being broken.
-
In my experiences it's been a variety of Killers. I've only encountered two Ghostfaces. I'm surprised because he just came out yesterday.
-
The red stun VFX are going to be removed. It was confirmed by a dev.
-
Aw, the Survivor can't get their guaranteed free escape anymore. Either go to a gate or hope you find it first. If you can't do any of that, then just accept your death.
-
I normally wouldn't say anything about this, but why is the OP being downvoted because they are asking the devs if they can fix a major exploit? Is that person just trying to prevent knowledge of the exploit from spreading or are they salty that their "advantage" is going to be removed?
-
I’d replace Unrelenting with Sloppy or Haunted.
Don’t worry about using Prayer Beads. Survivors aren’t going to care if they use the strongest perks and items. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the players that will say to not run Prayer Beads will also run something like Dead Hard, Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, and Adrenaline with an insta heal, pink or purple key, or super fast toolboxes or maybe even run Balanced Landing and use a Haddonfield offering and say it’s fine.
A Spirit build that can actually make you stronger than Nurse is Ruin, Surveillance, Discordance, and BBQ/Monitor and Abuse with Prayer Beads and either MD ring, Uwabaki, or Yakuyoke.
-
Because it’s wrong to get punished when you aren’t even tunneling the Survivor. At that point, it’s just rewarding the Survivor for failure. Why can’t DS deactivate if someone else gets hooked or the Survivor interacts with something? Seems like DS always has to have something stupid about it otherwise it’s a garbage perk unfortunately.
-
Wow. I really hope this gets put into the hotfix. If they can’t fix it in time, then I hope the perk gets disabled or becomes a bannable offense.
-
@Mister_xD hit the nail on the head here. The Killer Emblems were much better before 2.6.0. IIRC, Survivors were having trouble pipping which led to longer queue times for Killers at higher ranks. Instead of making it easier for Survivors to pip, BHVR just messed up the Killer Emblems.
The Victory Cube did have a big problem however, and it was that it solely relied on kills. Killers were more likely to play in ways that were really unfun for Survivors (like hard camping) to ensure a kill. Sure, the Killer would risk being gen rushed, but there’s still one Survivor who probably didn’t have any fun at all. The Emblem system punishes camping, forcing you to play differently in order to rank up. It also rewards you for doing other things like protecting the gens. With the Emblem system, if you make a mistake and it results in the gates being powered, you probably won’t depip. If you did that with the Victory Cube, then you had a good chance of depipping because of the lack of kills. I can definitely understand why the devs wanted to replace it. As for my stance on this issue, I would say either fix the Killer Emblems (at least revert the 2.6.0 changes) or bring back the Victory Cube.

I mean, we just had rank reset. Aren't you still around green ranks or even yellow? Should be quite easy to get the double pip.
But I understand where you coming, I personally would prefer to change it to 4k aswell.
Not really. At green ranks you have to get three Iridescents and one Gold or four Iridescents to double pip as Killer. In my experience, red, purple, and green ranks seem to mix together (or I’m finding Survivors who are intentionally trying to not rank up). Also if you could climb the ranks pretty quickly if you tried to before yesterday.
The Adepts would work a lot better if they only required a 4k. That way you don’t have to play a certain way and pray that Survivors don’t do something to screw it up.

Great news everyone!
We are going to remove completely the weird stun VFX <3
share the information because I think a lot of people are going to be happy.
Have a great day/evening ^^
Yes! Thank you guys so much!
-
No, that makes too much sense and hurts our rank 20s.
-
It’s annoying and needs to go. The Killer groaning and the camera shaking should be enough to indicate that you got stunned.
-
In my experience, it’s like this:
Levels 1-10: Only in mystery boxes
Levels 10-49: Available but not guaranteed
Level 50: At least one is guaranteed
I haven’t prestiged any of my characters though.
-
I’m on PS4 at rank 9, and it used to take me a few seconds to find a Killer game. Now it takes anywhere from 2-6 minutes. It’s been like this ever since noon. Survivor matchmaking is very fast now. It takes me a few seconds to find a game.
@AssassinZodiac said:
It's the polar opposite on PS4. Killer lobbies fill in less than a minute. Survivor role takes 5-15 minutes to load into a match. I've been to rank 1 as survivor and killer many times. Outside of ranks 16-20, there is not a lot of difference in skill between rank 1-15 in my opinion. I wish that they would just group everyone in ranks 1-15 in the same lobbies together in hopes of drastically reducing the wait times to load into a match.
What region are you in? I’m in PS4 NA on the East Coast.
-
Instead of lowering the timer, the perk should deactivate when the Survivor interacts with something. If you’re outside of the terror radius for more than 5 seconds (10 or 15 if you just got unhooked), then the timer goes down twice as fast. This way the Killer won’t be punished because the Survivor made a bad play.
-
You have to double pip. It might have bugged out. I got mine about an hour ago.
-
How do you teabag on PS4 as Ghostface? I’m thinking it’s L1 or R1.
-
Are you using Prayer Beads Spirit? Grabs are still buggy but I think you’ll have the easiest time getting them by playing her.
-
For me it’s around 2-5 minutes. It might be your location. I’m on PS4 NA East Coast.
-
I don’t know. We can use the double BP to level up new characters quicker. I think the main problem is that Survivors don’t earn as much BP. If you were to increase the amount they earned, I think more players would choose Survivor over Killer.
-
It was too loud before. A volume slider would help a lot for both sides.
-
You want to play Ghostface.
-
The bottom of the patch notes say it’s visually bugged. You will still get your fourth stack, it just won’t show up on the perk.

do u get extra points when u hook someone / do a gen with balloons?
I’m not sure. Only played one game so far and the Killer was DCed at the beginning. All I managed to do was start repairing a gen a little bit.
-
It seems like they’re kinda rare. They might not be guaranteed from levels 1-9. I didn’t get any when I leveled up Ghostface from 5 to 9, but I got one after I completed a level 50 web for Doctor. It might be my luck though.
-
The bottom of the patch notes tell you it’s a visual bug. You will still get the fourth stack.
-
I hope so. Prayer Beads Spirit could easily do this.
-
Sounds like someone has never read ToS or even played an online video game before.
-
Did you get gen rushed? Your Gatekeeper Emblem will take a decent hit if you do.
-
It tells you if you’re in a chase. It pops up on the side.
-
That’s good.
