I don't entirely understand why people think discordance is any better.

Gen turns yellow, survivors bolt before you get there, and the gen stays yellow for a dozen seconds implying they're still there.

If they're coordinated, a gen across the map will light up when you are there.

    I only use nurse calling.
Hit a guy with the pig dash.
And then surprise him with a second dash.
I dont like the other aura perks.

This is what Surveillance should do.

    Surveillance:
Unlocks potential in one's Aura-reading ability. The last regressing Generator reveals the auras of survivors within 6/10/14 meters. Once the exit gates are powered, all Generators reveal the auras of survivors within 6/10/14 meters.

    This is a good idear.
I liked it, but i wouldnt use it.

  • @EntityDispleased said:
I really feel like they didn't think this perk through. How am I supposed to know if the white aura was gone because the 16 seconds was done or a survivor tapped the gen?

    The better question is.
How can the pig hit 3 gens in 16 seconds?

    @ShyN3ko
It's your choice to prestige or not. I did it with my main because i like Feng Min. But the others are level 50 without prestiging because i don't care about bragging, plus the extra rewards are hardly noticeable.

I prestige, because you get more good addons with killers.

Ok, it cant be destroyed, but you dont have the instadown, like devour hope.

And maybe someone has an other idear, what the entity can do.

This is just 1 idear what the entity could do, when you summon him.

This is why I say it's a janky version if Level 1 Devour (the one that only has the ability to kill at 5 tokens).  In both cases (specifically with your theoretical idea at level 3 vs. Level 1 Devour), you need to hook someone 5 times to gain the ability to insta-kill people.  For Devour Hope, you need to get far away enough for the unhook to grant you a token, and you lose your progress if the totem breaks.  For your idea, you have to hook them in a very specific place to get a token (I think the breaking of the hooks is mostly irrelevant).  BP bonus aside, they're basically the same concept: hook people enough to be rewarded with the chance to insta-kill.

    I understand what you mean.
Maybe i got an other idears for this perk.
DbD has many useless perks and this perks need a rework.
And i still think the creator of surveillance was drunk.

  • Nice idear.
    This is a good buff.
But i think the perks need a new name, too.
    The current name is like:
Hey when you hook survivor, then you can summon the entity.

  • @TAG said:
The problem with this, once you boil it down to the core mechanics, is that this is (at its best) a janky version of Level 1 Hex: Devour Hope.

This is overly complicated for a simple buff. I'm fine if it made self escape impossible (unless deliverance is used) and 20 seconds off the total sacrifice time. The affect should be on all hooks. lt doesn't need to be a huge rework bud.

    I think its funny.

    This is great.

In my opinion, from what I have seen in terms of gameplay, it's never an even game. It's either a stomping or a bully simulator.

    Bully simulator?
You remember the past time from DbD?
And i think, if both team play good.
Then its not a bully simulator or anything.
    Its just a good game.
And they will release free killer, survivor and map dlc and that is rly good.
In DbD you must pay 90~ for the game and every DLC.
So i think Last Year is fair and more balanced than DbD.
And the lobby time is shorter.
Rank 1 killer lobbys are 45~ min

  • I have this game.
    I play this game.
And i think they just fixed many DbD problems.

Survivors holding the hostage? No problem they have a timer.
Survivors sitting on the exit gates. No problem they have a timer.
Survivors play solo? No problem, solo player will die, because a assymetrical horror game is a team game.
SWF are broken? No problem, everyone have a voice chat.
Objectives are boring? No problem the Last Year The NIghtmare objectives arent boring.

Do you see what i mean?
    This is great.

  • It would be nice, if the killer ability can have a synergy with some perks.
    Like the old tinkerer.

  • I have a off topic question.
This is a 1 vs 4 game, right?
So why have the killer the animations and not the survivors?
I mean survivors just throws pallets and the killer need an animation.
Survivors just tap a broken gen and the killer must kick the gen again.
killer should be the powerrole, but he has animation time.
And the 4 survivors dont had this.
    But yeah your right.
    The animation isnt soo good.

  • I think NOED is fine.
People just complain about it, because they die because this perk.
And they flaming the killer for it.
Because the survivors doesnt clean all totems.
Maybe NOED doesnt need a rework.
Maybe the people must understand what is "balance".
Many people forget it by DbD, because in the past, survivors was soooo easy to play.
And now they lose the power.

    @ShyN3ko said:
But i play more killer as survivors.
So maybe a survivor main should make a discussion about survivor perks.

A thread like this should be made by someone playing both sides at least almost equally and writing both sides perk changes ideas. All I see here is a killer main asking for buffs without caring about the other side or "balance".

I play both, but i dont have all perks for survivors ingame.
    I have 520 h playtime.
    And i must farm bloodpoints.
    And bloodpoints.
Because without addons and perks, killers arent so strong.
So i get more and more bloodpoints and use them for my killers.
This is the reason why i only make something for killer perks.
Because i dont have enough bloodpoints for both sides.
But i played both side 70%killer 30% survivor.

An excerpt from my post about the Unrelenting merge explains it would be nowhere near as powerful as the Machinegun Build

''We all know about the machine gun combo where Unrelenting effected Succesful and Unsuccessful attacks just like the old Save The Best For Last, together they had a 55% decreased cooldown for Succesful and 50% cooldown for Unsuccessful attacks. But they both got nerfed with Unrelenting having 30% on Unsuccessful and STBFL having a max 40% on Successful attacks they are both weaker but still separate. How about we get rid of Unrelenting entirely and just combine it with STBFL and not change anything about it so it would read something like this: As long as the Obsession is alive you have a 30% decrease on Unsuccessful attack cooldowns and when you hit anyone who is not the Obsession gain a token granting a 5% decrease on Successful attack cooldowns with a maximum of 8 tokens, hitting the Obsession removes 2 tokens. And that's at Tier 3 of course.''

Sounds good, but i have always a hard negative opinion about.
When you fail, you got rewarded.
    And that Unrelenting

I can understand that, I don't use Unrelenting but I have seen some players use this during chases to get more distance. You lunge at a pallet and if they don't drop the pallet you get more distance and that cooldown and you can hit them. I also just made a post about NOED being reworked if you want to check that out.

The main perk I don't understand why they didn't rework was Insidious since they seem adamant about punishing any form of camping. Admittedly though I like the 0 Terror Radius aspect of the perk and the design of the perk seems like you're trying to hide.

Maybe something like - "When performing the break action your aura and terror radius are hidden for 15 seconds" or something along those lines. Would serve a similar purpose to what the perk has now but it would have a use outside of camping.

Its like they forget this perk.

  • @HatCreature schrieb:
I had a similar idea with your Territorial Imperative but I thought it was so different it deserved it's own perk, I called it ''It's A Trap'' because it is basically a trap. You're defending your territory if you're keeping them down there.

    ITS A TRAP.
    Sounds good XD

Brutal Strength--what do you mean shockwave? Like when you destroy a pallet and a Survivor is nearby they stumble or fall down?

    Jup.

Third Seal---How do you make Survivors more Blind, they already can't see people on the floor, on hooks, can't see your Aura, no Bond, no Empathy, no Alert, everything with Auras is blocked.

When the killer hook someone, they can see it.
And maybe all totems are normal ones, when the survivor is blind.

Bloodwarden---I think that's too powerful, I would like a timer like the other perks have. Although I do think increasing the time would be better because some maps are so big that you might hook someone too far away and by the time you get there it might not be open but you lost a lot of time getting there. A minute 30 would be fine.

You must catch every 30 seconds 1 survivor and hook him/her.
I think only on pig its rly "OP".
But 1,3 min would be nice, too.

I have opinions on Iron Maiden, the exposed timer needs to be longer, 60 like the other perks. I got exposed from this several times and I never got caught until I LET them catch me, I stood there waiting for them to get there so someone could actually use it and feel accomplished. They almost didn't make it.

    Yeah, i dont use it.
Because all survivors would just go 1 time in a locker.
And then they dont do it anymore.

On Unrelenting I actually made a post that no one cared about saying that Unrelenting should be merged with Save The Best For Last, don't change any values just merge them into one perk. Because Unrelenting is good against experienced Survivors around pallets and good for beginner killers but that's it, it's a small change and would be better suited merged with another perk so it doesn't take up space for something better.

Safe the best 4 Last is just the better Unrelenting.
    Beginner->Pro
But if you fuze them, you would have a machine gun build :3

The trailer looks great, but yeah.
    Thats all.
    You use the wrong survivor.
And you use the wrong killer ability.
    And yes, explain this.
Its like Blizzard make a new Tracer trailer and Tracer has the ability from Widowmaker.
    Its totally weird.

I can't really complain about the wrong survivor being used as Legion was never really after Jesus in the first place. Really the only connection Jesus (Jeff) and the Legion have is the fact that they like the same hangout and Jesus once did a painting for them.

As for the "kill" itself I do find it odd that they make it seem like he is blending in and then getting that cheeky back-stab, but I guess they are trying to show that they take pleasure in toying with their victims?

Honestly I agree its odd and frankly it makes no sense that Legion managed to one shot David since at best he should have gotten a inconsequential hit followed by a few t-bags from David.

They could make a epic chase.
And every time, when Jesus get a hit from legion, the watchers see legion.
But every time legion has another mask.
    And then Mori time.

I can't imagine why it would be. Huntress isn't particularly known for using her terror radius as a tool.

In fact most people would probably run when they hear it since she can launch a long range attack.

I can't think ofnone good reason anyone would stay in it unless she were distracted.

    Have you an idear?

Hide totems better, and maybe make them slightly harder to break?
Maybe add skill checks that only regress if failed? Let Huntress Lullaby synergize with this change to make it even more of an obstacle?
Make small game far more important in finding the new hard to find totems?

I would hate dealing with a 5 token huntress lullaby I couldn't turn off personally, and I'm sure a ton of newbs would, too. It would either be game ending, or create a kot of gamers who are unusually good at hitting checks.

But yeah, huntress needs a way to slow the game down, and she doesn't have one anywhere near as strong as doctor's, so linking it to terror radius would hurt Huntress.

Maybe something like "Safe the best for last".?

I feel like it's a little too slow to gain any momentum and unlike most other Hex Perks, where you can get some millage out of em before it gets cleansed, Lullaby ends up a bit lower on the totem pole imo

Honestly it shouldn't even be a Hex. To compensate and incentivize better game play the tokens should be awarded how Hex devour hope is, so you get them when someone is taken off the hook and you're far enough away. Not a hex so it's permanent but to actually get the tokens it means you've basically left every single hook and let them save them for free. Seems fair since you're risking all of your pressure by leaving every time and just hoping you find someone.

Maybe you can lost the lullaby tokens for something.
