But all killer should be powerful(nurse is fine).

"Not all killer should be viable or powerfull".
And this sentence from the devs is rly bad game balance.
If survivors players have a high skill lvl, then low tier killer cant do anything.
    Because they arent powerfull.
The killer player can have more skill than the survivors, but the killer will still lose.
    And that is unfair bullshit.

you should learn montos build and how he plays not all killers needs to kill 4 survivors if you play well you can get alot of points

I know how to play killer.
I watch monto, because i like perk builds.
But this game is survivor fav. since day 1.
4 survivors with high skill can destroy high skill killer player.
Because he want to play a low tier killer.
    And this aspect is unfair.
And i dont want 4 k every game.
I just want a fair game.
    And DbD is not fair.

  • I agree with you.

    PS:
I just have a simple example:
    5 KI play this game.
4 survivors KI vs 1 killer KI.
When the KI got some skill/experience, then the killer KI cant win 1 game.
    He will lose every game.

  • Do you know, why DbD has auto repair?
Because survivors sabotage all hooks on the map.
And what will happen, if some killer doesnt have hangmans trick.
    The killer cant hook people.
    Then he must slugging people.

Don't you think that that should be the case with all Killers instead of just the Nurse? Why should a Killer still lose the game if he plays better than the Survivors? That's absurd.

    Yes, i think it.

In over 2 years of playing DBD I have encountered only 2 laggswitchers. Most of the time when a survivor is crying about laggswitching, its hsi sister fault for starting a netflix stream or sth.

What I am concerned about is the impact dedicated servers will have on stuff like 360s, huntress hatchets etc. I already had quite some bad experiences in certain shooters where you actually had an advantage if you play with a ~200 ping

    Yeah, it will be interesting.
1 time they test a new hitbox for huntress hatches.
But after 1 week, they removed it.
Because it was buggy and rly frustrating.
DbD Devs and new big things are always interesting.

Well the problem with dedicated servers is that they cant simply remove them after 1 week again. They need to do everything perfectly on the first try or we will have very big issues that will remain for quite some time in the game. Knowing BHVRs history, I have my doubts whether they can achieve that.....

    Just lets watch.

    With bodyblocking:
1 survivor left the game, but the killer can still play/win/lose the game.
    Without bodyblocking:
The killer can hook 1 survivor.
    Then the game is over.

They give the perk 10 seconds in the trailer

They probably intended that perk exactly the way they stated it there; without a timer, but realised it was so un fun that they really did not want the perk to exist in the first place, bringing it where it is now.

If the perk reveals aura's of people nearby, you'll basically always know where the survivors are when it comes to doing the objective against a lower-survivor count team.

That is why this perk should not work globally:

    (final offer)

    Surveillance:

A survivor gains the exposed effect for 20 seconds after touching a regressing generator. When you are within 12/18/24 meters from that generator, gain a sound notification.

I still don't really feel right about giving Pig two perks that deal with Exposed (I know Spirit technically has it too, but at least Rancor is Obsession-only), but at least that idea feels more like Surveillance.

Yeah but only for 20 seconds.
And i think its fine, but it would be great, if somebody could test it(sanbox).

  • This game is still survivor fav.
And the most killers are weak.
    But yes.
Nobody needs much skill for the killer abilitys.
And that is a problem for me.
It would be good, if they buff killers.
But you need more skill to use the abilitys.
    Example:
    Nurse.
You need much skill, but when you have enough skill then you can beat the survivors.
If the survivors have more skill, then they can beat you.

    Killers need more information.
Because killer has no information ingame.
    Example:

The survivors have more information about this perk, ingame, as the killer.

Killers need less information and more anti-looping tools.
Solo-Survivors need more SWF's-like communication and less non-SWF related communication.

Yeah, but i think its kinda dumb, that survivors get informations about every perk.
I dont care, if they only know when they exposed.

Wow, you are really tying yourself up in knots trying to justify this power. Btw, that perk idea would be completely broken on a 3 gen doc. Can you even imagine Doctor with Overcharge, Pop Goes the Weasel and your perk idea? An exposed status tied to working on generators is the only missing piece of the puzzle.

If you think a 3 Gen doc is broken, then I don't think you know what broken is in this game. Getting 3 genned is a choice survivors make.

    1. Pop goes the weasel? Someone has to be hooked for that to go off = Counterplayable.
    2. Overcharge = Counterplayable
    3. Exposed status effect = Counterplayable. Remember, you are not stunned or anything. The killer has to be surveilling that gen to get use out of the perk.
    4. 3 Generators close to each other = Counterplayable

Unlike aura-reading solution this actually has counterplay. In any other aura-reading variants, it's either too weak (as Surveillance is right now) or it completely locks down late-game counterplay, where you cannot get any gens done, because the killer will always know which gen you are working on, making the perk always useless or gamebreaking.

This is why Surveillance is the way it is, with 16 seconds. Because the Devs created a perk concept that hasn't really been touched yet, but saw how un fun it would be so they nerfed to the ground to the point where it isn't useable.
We don't need more variations of that.

3 gen doc is fine. A 3 gen doc that can insta down every time a survivor touches a generator is NOT fine. This is all pointless to argue over though since your perk doesn't actually exist.

    Yeah his perk doesnt exist,
    but surveillance neeeeeeeeed an update.
    Because its since release trash.

Surveillance: the auras of 2 regressing generators will be shown to you for 16/24/32 seconds.
During this time, if a survivor touches it, they will be shown to you for 3/6/9 seconds.

I think the idear of surveillance is good, but i dont would use it.

By it's very definition it is supposed to help the killer find survivors! What you suggested isn't a terrible idea for a perk. It would pair quite well with a buffed version of surveillance. But again, way off on the direction that a perk called surveillance should be.

Now think again. How do you get use of this perk? It's through surveilling a generator. You, the actual you, in order to strike a survivor who dares to touch it.

    My suggestion is all about surveillance. The picture fits it even more perfectly since you're actually surveilling it rather then having any type of notification or aura reading while you are all the way in the desert;

close observation, especially of a suspected spy or criminal.

Where-as the old surveillance is just aura reading and has nothing to do with surveilling, my suggestion does the opposite and makes it about actual surveilling and makes it an even more suitable perk for the type of killers to whom it would be appropriate to use:
    The pig
    The Wraith

Yeah, on 3 gen doc it would be too strong.
But its better than the current state.

If the doc manages to pull a 3 gen, then the survivors failed hard.

if the killer want use the 3 gen tactic, he can do it.
But yeah you are right, too.

I´ve seen a streamer claiming that a doc was keeping the game hostage. Provided a 1 hour video of the killer trying to defend the gens while downing and hooking. The survivors held the game hostage, because they even spoke about making that doc pay... and even refused to leave at the end.

sigh But they only saw the killer as the bad guy. No wrong in their behavior.

The killer can only hold the hostage, if he bodyblock.
    E.g. in the basement.
The survivors holding the hostage, because they didnt make gens.
This can happen, if they repair the wrong gens.
    sacrasm active
But yeah, its never the survivors fault.
Only the killer is the evil person, because he play killer.

This is what Surveillance should do.

    Surveillance:
Unlocks potential in one's Aura-reading ability. The last regressing Generator reveals the auras of survivors within 6/10/14 meters. Once the exit gates are powered, all Generators reveal the auras of survivors within 6/10/14 meters.

    This is a good idear.
I liked it, but i wouldnt use it.

It wouldn't be for everyone, but it would at least be worth running.

    Yeah thats true
