Yeah, you are correct. Maybe new matchmaking? I am not sure tbh. Mine are about 2 minutes. Although it could just be people are still updating. haha
-
Loving OTR, damn. Getting farmed is gone now.
-
People want to play killer because of the changes. If you think many survivors left, you are mistaken.
-
There there
-
Steve technically has no teachables. They are now basic perks.
-
Cap from update was P9, and they redid the bloodweb so it makes sense that they were reset.

Id assume because by the time you've typed out a message on a controller everyone has probably already left the match
Lmao
-
You're not dropping today
-
Really a shame how they remove the perks that motivated players to play in a good way rather than the optimal way. But they'll come up with something in the future I'm sure.
-
Awesome idea, yes that is a good solution for the survival category.

Well, I think the last one will be no more.
Oh I hope so haha
-
Well on the forums, it's anyone who uses a flashlight apparently.
I just don't click at the killer when it's not necessary, unless they use lightborn. Don't wait at the exit gate and crouch until the killer forces you out. And uh, pointing at the killer after dead harding for distance to a pallet.
-
Survivors running lightborn.
-
-
First off, amazing job. I know this is a lot of work and you've put a lot of thought into them. Great Job.
Going to give feedback on each as how I know the game:
Tampered Machine
Cool and fun idea. I think 35 s is a bit long though. Assuming the skill checks are like merciless.
Misanthropy
That's big to give but kind of cool, can shake up how the game is played. Maybe it needs to be a hex? I am not sure.
Malpractice
This is busted, but can work as a hex if you nerf the duration to like 3 s.
Perks from Hanako Shinigami, “The Aperture”
Prisoner's Dilemma
Reminds me of deathbound but for hooks and eh.
Scourge Hook: Time Bomb
This is pain res on crack, might need to tone it down a lot.
Hex: Atonement
Rather weak only affecting the Obsession.
Cutthroat
This blocks healing under hook I guess. I don't think I would bother to run it.
Appalling Visage
That's cool.
Scourge Hook: Omnipresence
That's really cool.
Voyeur
Again, lacking in effectiveness.
Split Mind
That's kind of cool. For people that want to tunnel the boon user haha. I don't think I'd ever use it. There are just better tracking perks.
Bloody Sabotage
Cool idea but I don't think it's useful.
Now, the survivor perks.
Look to the Stars
Eh, rather run bond. Maybe a niche people could like.
Distressed Sonata
Kind of hard to get value out of something so minor.
Blessed Timepiece
This is a fun perk, I like this concept.
Duplicity
Strange time to reward a survivor for working on gens but sure.
Sinister Connections
Again, bond is just better for this.
Surgical Precision
This is really cool and I love this idea, maybe drop the skill check at 40%.
Observant
I guess, sure. Not really into maps in the game.
Keep it Together
This is cool and works.
Guiding Light
I guess you could synergize this with the other buff speeds, that could be fun. Alone it's meh.
Palpitation
This is kind of busted. It should probably grant exhaustion and then it'd be perfect.
Donor
Yeah that is cool, I like it.
Boon: Antidote
Yeah, we need one of these.

You're happening tomorrow.

It's sad how OP exposed and debunked all myths spreaded by the devs and literally the community forgot about it after not even a week.
Really. You're exposed.
-
You are right, but I would hope most people played for fun and took those risks rather than play to win. No reason to play like that with nothing on the line.
Yes, I know where I am. No, I still think most people play for fun and not to win.
-
What? Just unlock more perks, you don't have to prestige.
-
I completely agree with you, just said in a way that is more sincere.
Keep making them feel like their being insincere guys.
-
Absolutely not, that's broken.
*Hasn't read anything yet*
-
I always thought proximity voice chat would be funny, especially if you could hear the killer. Imagine a deathslinger Rping the character. The accent and all, that'd be hilarious. But in actuality, the bm would be obnoxious.
-
You're postponed.
-
Ew, then no one would use it.
-
There there
-
Shame on you for using lightborn. Now that we got that out of the way, nice story. haha
-
I play solo queue all the time and I just don't understand where you are coming from. Sometimes it is frustrating when a teammate does something stupid, but so what, get a bigger backpack.
-
The gen time does make a big difference that I kind of wish they didn't change but yeah a lot of the time it is due to poor play rather than an imbalance. Fully agree with the map design remark.
-
Absolutely, I agree with it, the perk does not promote engaging gameplay. However, on the other end, there are maps in the game where some windows are obnoxious, IE Garden and Haddonfield.
-
It is very hit and miss sometimes and it also depends on the time of day. Hope it gets better for ya.
-
I get it, and it really sucks when some people post exactly what the next thing is going to be.
On the other hand, I also get the need for building hype. These names are big and using them is just marketing the game.

Same, I can't keep entertaining myself with my joke posts :(
I expect highly of your next post.

Love everything but thrid seal. Sorry but that perk just hurts me. I need my bond or I fall apart.
-
The conspiracy..

Now that you only upgrade one number and there is no reset, you no longer need to level up to equip 4 perks.
Also, i dont understand why thats a thing 6 years after release. You star playing with 1 perk against someone that have 4 feels bad.
Just let survs and killers equip 3 tier 1 perk + the random perk in your first bloodweb page (probably monstuous srhine).
It's called progression, usually a good thing to have in games.
-
Yeah I think they said that in the dev stream. Was so long ago I could be mistaken.

There are a few things here I'd like to contest, if you don't mind.
First, if you're hit off hook immediately to get OTR out of the way... you aren't being tunnelled, because you get the speed boost and the stealth of OTR to get out of sight and evade the killer. At worst, you get to relocate to somewhere you can start making a play in chase, which is exactly what anti-tunnel measures are designed to do. What you're describing is anti-tunnel measures working.
Second, if the exit gates are powered, tunnelling is fair game. What else is the killer supposed to do?
Third, how is a good player supposed to counter being downed immediately after they get unhooked? They don't have time to outplay it, especially if it's a solo queue player being farmed. If they're hit as soon as their feet touch the ground they literally don't have time to react, and even if it's a second later, they can't exactly do anything.
Leatherface camping did get a bit nastier, that I will agree with, but tunnelling and certain forms of camping categorically get weaker in this patch.
This
-
It will continue to happen as they release these patches. Don't pay them no mind. These patches are a great thing for the game and I look forward to the future patches.
-
Fun ideas, I like the idea of LTW.
-
Flashlight save. Screw winning, it's about the plays haha. Solo queue will be fine.
-
Lack of variety and challenge is boring but if you are enjoying the game, go for it
-
Yes
-
Ngl, the scariest thing to see in game when you are new is the camping leatherface in the basement come out of nowhere. After the first time, it gets old really fast but I can see that as appeal for the game and them not wanting to remove it by that regard. Idk, I think keeping it a stealth perk is great but making it less niche would be nice too.
-
We going to need Tapp involved too, for those that get the reference haha

Can you think of a killer or survivor this would apply to?
Huntress?

Tome, gotta be

Yeah, indeed :D Obviously this is just a rough draft, but I actually think that the core concept could work. Maybe add something like "you start the trial in cooldown" and maybe activate the perks cooldown immediately once the killer uses a movement related power, thus discouraging it on Nurse, Blight, Wraith, Sadako and Dredge (on the top of my head), but giving especially the various M1 killers without movement shennanigans a leg up.
Myers was the first to come to mind haha
-
@Akumakaji said:
Insidious - when there is no survivor in the killers terror radius and the killer is standing still for 8/7/6s the killer teleports to a shadowy corner within 24m of a random survivor. After the teleport his terror radius is surpressed for 4s. This effect can only aqctivate once every 120/100/80s. The perk deactivates once all generators are powered or if only one survivor is left in the trial.
Now that sounds like a fun perk I'd run.
