chainsaw killers with bamboozle sap the fun out of their threatening chases. when i wanna loop a bubba or billy i want to experience the fear of being curved and mindgamed, not haha i vault window now you have to drop pallet or run in the open hoping you make it to another. 100 percent prefer the mindgames.

Absolutely, I agree with it, the perk does not promote engaging gameplay. However, on the other end, there are maps in the game where some windows are obnoxious, IE Garden and Haddonfield.
Blame the devs for killing Billy when no one asked for it.

welp old billy was even more unengaging with bamboozle and people still would run it. i understand because i mained billy on console without bamboozle and good survs easily abuse those windows but still man its like 90 percent run it and i hate perks that are always used
Bamboozle is not an engaging perk but you can play around it.
Most players will bee line the window to block it and you can predict it and path accordingly. They either start using their brain or instead of playing a single tile you can manage to back an forth between two of them (which arguably shows a lot more skill on the survivor side than playing tiles singularly)
BHVR loves god-windows so it's basically always equipped on half my killers. Not having to deal with shack or jungle gyms is sooooo nice too. I think it's a relatively braindead way to deal with them, sure.
But then again on an m1 killer what else are you gonna do at the shack? You are probably not mindgaming any good survivor, and in the time it takes you to figure out if the mindgames will work or not you have lost 2 gens
Take that up with BHVR for nerfing Billy.
