Nah, with insidious you make the fun, hiding behind a tree play. Do it for a laugh once and get value. haha
-
Oh, you are a jack of trades so you should learn this process as well. Wouldn't want to falsely advertise now.
-
I can see an argument for plague when no one cleanses, I'm going to start bringing dstressing haha
-
Alright, where's the bonking stick.
-
Hey, they finally got a win, they have to show it off as much as they can. Don't blame them.
-
I change my answer, lightborn haha
-
I'm hearing a lot of 'gens before friends' meta. Sadge
-
But what about sandbagging the bill to check for noed?
Haha, nah that would be cool too. I feel that would remove the most frustrating points to NOED without reworking the perk completely.
-
Idk where you get your info but they hit all my points. You just don't have the charisma my dude haha.
The update is great as is and there will be more to come.

I recently opened a topic about that. I think BBQ will have less counterplay now simply because survivors won't bother cause they think nobody will use it anymore.
Maybe in a year but people have that instinct ingrained in them to hide from BBQ. I don't think I would use it, maybe on Billly but idk.
-
The greed, lucky you even get shards haha
-
I built mine earlier this year, when GPU's were dumb, for 1200 and I have everything I need, you do not need a full 2k for a great pc.
-
Highly recommend building it yourself, save money that way and you learn. It's really not hard at all, just takes a little time.
Pick parts. Build your PC. Compare and share. - PCPartPicker
If you are completely new, use that resource for picking parts and compatibility. GPU's are not as bad now than earlier this year so go for it.

When I'm playing survivor, My absolute weak spot is when killer brings Huntress Lullaby. More than 2 stacks and I'm absolutely unable to hit skill checks. One of the reason I use first minute of the game to get all of the totems and hexes, I'm not risking.
As a killer, Vigil. It doesn't seem as bad, until you have calculated that the timed exposed status should last X seconds, but it ends early, and when you think you hit them right in time, Vigil says NOPE. Exhaustion/Hemorrhage/Oblivious/Blindness addons? They be gone in no time.
I didn't even know it did that haha, I just used it with Sprint Burst and Self Aware
-
Too many people counter BBQ because they are so used to it, that is why the aura reading is bad. If the counterplay wasn't there, It'd be pretty good.

So for Overzealous, do you just cleanse one totem for the gen speed boost, then you lose it when youre injured or dying, but as soon as you're healthy again it's back? Or do you need to find another totem to get it back?
You lose when hit and do not regain when healed. You have to cleanse another totem.
-
Excited for the WGLF and FTP, that sounds fun.
Also, Lightweight mettttaaa! Haha
-
Assume it is the 19th. There will not be a warning, I am fairly certain. Prestige everyone on the 18th, if it ends up being the 26th, then my bad in advance haha.
-
I feel like if you force people to stay in the game, they will sandbag and troll, ultimately still ruining the game. Not sure what to do but this doesn't affect me all too often.

Considering that those who own the DLC still get the old perk icons (just with the new names) is there still the chance of getting their perk charms at P7-9?

Franklin's....... I will throw to get my flashlight back.
If they aren't running DH, I love them.
-
I am fairly certain that you keep whatever your current level is. When I opened the PTB, all of my characters had varying prestige but all were level 50, which is where they were left.
-
They haven't said otherwise anywhere.
You want P3 patchday, your goal is 121 perk tiers for your character. That puts them at P2 level 50. When patchday lands, you prestige then to get P3.
Now, if you have a character that doesn't have much put into them and they are level 50, just prestige them. If they are P1, for patchday they will be P3 level 1.
You will lose all addon/items/perks, but you will gain their T3 perks for everyone else. Weight the trade off on your own. If you have a bunch of flan or 1000 add ons, maybe don't prestige now and just go for the 121 perk tiers.

Alright so about that…….yeah I definitely agree Artist is fun to play against at times too, as I think it’s a different challenge in dodging her crows from a distance. If I may ask though, what certain strat are you talking about?
No, that is not for people on the forums to know, you either know about it or don't.

I think she can be good against competent survivors too, you just have to be on top of your game a lot. She definitely isn’t easy to get in to.

Alright I’ll have to try it out some time.
Bruh, how you leaving us hanging? You put that in the title, of course someone is going to ask for the first.
And Artist can be fun to play against, as long as they aren't doing a certain strat with her.

Lol. I first thought that this was trolling/satire, but I read a few of your other comments. Dude, if you are really diving in as a killer main now, I welcome you. As you will start out with low MMR, yeah, you will 3-4k a lot of matches, but make no mistake, once you raise high enough your devious plan of "easy 3K via camping and tunneling" won't work as perfect as you might imagine. But the 10% killer buff will definitely make the experience much more fun for you then it would have been in the past, so knock yourself out with the killer role.
Playing killer can be a lot of fun, and the game is finally taking steps in the right direction and making killer playable again. It wasn`t unplayable before, but it often felt like chewing on nails or something, so I am looking forward to next Tuesday very much. If you need any help just knock us up, we killer mains are quite the helpful bunch, and we don`t even get points for being altruistic :)
Haha, the only time I had to chew nails was the 'dead harding for distance' which happened a lot for some reason.
I am eager for the new patch, plenty of new builds to chase and hoping for the variety.
-
You say second?
She is great, one of the best in the game. She has plenty need for skill with her birds which makes her fun. I like her, but not as much as Billy, Huntress, Blight. There are plenty of killers in the game whose power lack skill but Artist is definitely not one of them.
-
Line of sight blockers, stealth, mind gaming the double back, distance.
Listening to when she starts her blinks, get into her habits. If she consistently charges without line of sight, change direction and go for more distance. If she waits for line of sight, try to use blockers to gain as much distance as you can. Mix it up where you can.
If you are familiar with playing the nurse, you know some maps have dead zones or can be a little frustrating to blink around, that's not really ideal but it is a factor in the game. Honestly, the best way to learn is to play as her.
Adding in, if you are in the higher lobbies, pulling her to the edge of the map wastes more time for her. Not usually needed outside of the higher lobbies.
With her range addons the counterplay is the same, just less effective.
-
Her range add ons, sure. When you use them, things just turn easy mode, regardless of survivor.
Everything else about her is fine. I get she 'breaks the game' logic but that was her point when she released. She is another form of killer you need to play against, she has plenty counterplay and has some skill involved with her.
-
2v8 yeah. You could probably keep the maps somewhat the same size but add another pallet to each tile. Idk, an idea for stability.
Even if this was a custom game only, it'd be worth.
-
Could add a random perk option within the loadout. You can select it 4 times for a complete random build.
-
Congratulations on your achievement.

"That is not my job." Waves index finger back and forth.

Fast and Furious Enitity Edition xD. So some powers could be combined to Strenghtem each other or weaken like Plague and others are just like: i Infect you all suck. but Nemesis and like Demo and Dredge arent affected by infections. Nemmi and Plague Double the Infection with Contamination and its just a China 2020 edition in the Trial. I Think they should open a PTB and testing these things so we can get such a mode.
Haha, you've got the right idea
-
I'm sure plenty are. I'm hard into AoT but charms I could care less about. Still would be cool to see in game.
-
Or blight sharing injections with double engravings billy. Imagine the zooms

Yeah so why not Infected Blood orbs which are green and only add 33% of the normal Charge rate from Pure Blood Orbs :D
Oh damn, if they combined the powers of killers like that, wow I'd be so impressed. We need a zombie trap pit with trapper and nem haha

@Aneurysm said:
Plague and spirit together would be pretty horrible. Or legion and oni.
Anyway the real best part of this mode existing would be when survivors start complaining that the killers are on comms together.
Lmao
-
This is the type of stuff that makes the forums fun. Keep it up man, awesome post.
I can't help but think Oni Plague haha, infinite blood orbs haha
-
The infinite possibilities is what makes this idea so much fun. Idc how busted it would be, it sounds fun.
-
I gave you a viable solution. Clear as day. But you just want to argue, later.
-
Nahh, people would just use it aggressively in combination with other perks.
Honestly, I think extending the immunity window by 0.25 seconds after unhook and giving the survivor an instant sprint burst after unhook would help solve the issue.
As long as I can move a little bit after the unhook, I can loop the killer longer. At that point, countering tunneling is more skill based and not team based. I'd rather not get unhooked in front of the killer by Meg and go down without a chance.
I don't run DS, ever. I find it boring to run and would use the perk slot on something more entertaining, if I get tunneled, so be it.
-
That makes sense to me, minds well.

Just hook the damn survivor! If you have 2 people or more downed, you are already winning, you do not need to go slug everybody to death. God damn you people are so petty with your strawman arguments. Like really, so if you don't get a 4k so what? Is a 2k not enough? Is not getting kills that bad? What exactly do you want as killer? Just spawn all survivors on hooks the moment you spawn in the match? Maybe we should remove the exit gates, gens could just be there so survivors have something to do while you go on a murder spree.
Like really, you portray losing as if it's this huge deal, yet even when losing you are still moving, chasing, doing stuff. Survivors can't do anything while slugged or camped or tunneled. They don't earn BP, they don't interact with the killer or other survivors, they have nothing. I think on average survivors in this game spend more time just doing nothing than actually participating in a match at how rampant all this tunneling, camping and slugging has become.
I'm starting to think you don't have competitive games. It's not about losing, it's about staying in the game. If I don't punish their mistake, then I am giving them a free win. The game is meant to be competitive and fun. Yeah, we aren't going to agree.

This spreadsheet is neat. But a few questions:
1. I have 120 perk tiers on Claudette. Why does it say she would be prestige 1? Shouldn't it be prestige 2?
2. Why does is say none for Claudette with 120 perk tiers, but "spend bp" for Dwight with 121?
IF you are at 120 perks, don't prestige. You will get P2 level 50 on patch day.
@Ramanga said:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1D3wGicp-GaJBwkSwnEvQAkr9imu_1_6m-ZJfH6eZF_I/edit?usp=sharing
I've created a spreadsheet to help people with the decision on whether to prestige or not. This tool will calculate the number of prestige points you have per character and let you know how close you are to the next prestige level and about how much it will cost in BP. Note it is based on characters being level 50 and no current prestige levels.
To use the tool, simply count how many perks of each tier you have on the character and fill them in the listed columns.
As you can see in the example, Twins will be converted to Prestige 1 but are only 1 perk away from having enough perk points to be made Prestige 2. Blight, on the other hand, would be Prestige 0, but is only two perk points away from being converted to Prestige 1. So the cheapest option is to prestige now, but I might want to go ahead and spend the 55k BP if I wanted to keep his addons and offerings.
One thing to note is that the average character who just had hit 50 had only 58-59 perk points. Since BHVR wont do anything until you have at least 70 perk points, the best option for fresh 50's seems to be to prestige before the patch hits.
Haha, appreciate the work added in. Though I cannot edit the document to see my values.
Edited; Err nvm
To OP
I think just asking on the forum is plenty. They have answered plenty of questions regarding this already.
-
So in your eyes, you're playing killer, you downed one and hooked him at the edge of the map (left side), you down another in the middle of the map. A gen pops on the right side of the map, you know from BBQ that two people are over on the right side. So in this case, the bad play of the survivors, you shouldn't punish the gens before friends? Like, what?
-
If you remove slugging, idk what else to do. I don;t want to be forced to run 4 slowdown. I don't get where you are coming from.
