Or maybe it's just a waste of time? Because now it's going to clog up the forums with all the "Ash is coming to be DBD" hype threads, This is nothing new sweetheart.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/822/C0EIMRHC7D66.jpg

What are you talking about? lmfao.

Making one thread for people to talk about it should hopefully mean less threads are made.

    Take your grudge elsewhere.

Yeah that's true. I just believe a lot of paranoid theory crafting happens on here.

    Yea it's a

What if they're running this, this, this, this, this, this, this... etc.

  • @Kagrenac said:

I'm excited, I love Evil Dead!

Mettle of Man is whatever it's not as much of a problem as people think.

Flip Flop on the other hand...that's going to be a major issue in my opinion. Itll certainly stop slugging. May be the best anti slug perk in the game that isn't no mither.

I think one of the biggest issues this game has is the "what ifs". If a new perk comes out, you can't run it without removing a different "meta" perk. and people like to make out that every build is happening all it once, it seems.

If they aren't running flip flop, then they wont be running something else, etc etc.

  • So it's likely the perks we saw were their final version, interesting to see what people think about mettle of man and if it'll actually affect gameplay all that much.

    Only time will tell.

  • Oh this guy is still posting lame wins on the forums? lmfao.

    Attention needed, everyone hug him.

For once you and I agree on something... people are overreacting like something crazy on this perk... I will gladly except this perk into the game... with this perk you could get that Old BT back but actually at a risk and the cost of 2 slots... I love it!

Honestly, I'm sorry but I have multiple chases where I've missed a hit on survivor, and you get that mini cool down thing, it's literally just that, once in the entire match, and then once they heal, you can see their aura until you down them, then the perk deactivates completely.

It's literally a trash perk lmao.

    Pros

You can take one additional hit.

    Cons

    Once Per Trial

Killer Sees Your Aura Until You're Down (If you heal)

Additionally, you could die before you use it, you've probably already been hooked once before you even use it.

more crying for the sake of crying.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

@SenzuDuck Haven't seen you in quite some time. Welcome back.

Anyway, I don't think it's crying about just anything. A missed hit from the killer can definitively save a surv. This perks sounds too powerful for my taste.

Except, it's unreleased, unnannounced & there's pretty big negatives to it.

Works once per trial? People talking about chaining it with dead hard which is by far the easiest perk in the game to counter.

    ridiculous arguments once again.

  • This thread honestly just goes to show how one side will cry about anything.

Lets cry about perks that aren't even released yet alone announced officially.

The perk is weak holy heck, one hit that doesn't do damage, because you've never swung at a window and got nothing out of it right, it's basically like that except you connect.

  • DS is being changed, talk about beating a dead horse.

  • @se05239 said:

There's a reason I call people who get easily excited for skins "cattle". They don't see the problem with $10 dollar skins and will happily purchase anything new Behavior pump out.

It's the same sort of people who pre-order AAA games, or buy "Deluxe" editions or other ######### that turned the gaming industry into such a garbage dump.

I've put 3K hours into this game and have got more entertainment out of it than any other game.

Damn right i'm going to shovel money into their mouths so I get more content out of it.

I've got MORE enjoyment than I've paid for that's a fact.

  • @HeroLives said:

I mean since the cosmetics they’ve started pumping out more dlcs, updating the engine, and are getting dedicated servers. Coincidence? I think not.

i agree though they are a tad pricey when they first drop, I think they could double their income by dropping outfits to $5 a piece.

Doesn't matter, these people demand free stuff because the game has bugs, as common folk (players) we must batten down the hatches and work together to be stinger & more beggar like. /s

If you want a skin, earn it or buy it. You can even get more of the DLC through play time now, if that isn't enough then you REALLY should find something else to play, honestly.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Remember The 80s Suitcase DLC? That gave you twenty uncommon cosmetic peices for only around $2.99.

By the current cosmetic store’s standards, twenty uncommon cosmetic peices would cost $20.00 (one uncommon cosmetic peice costs 100AC / $1.00).

It takes about half the price of The 80s Suitcase DLC to buy one twentieth of its content in the current cosmetic store.

Do we see the problem here?

No? Isn't the 80s pack pretty much just a recolour of the survivors current clothing?

The new outfits are all different models and the 10$ gets you three pieces for an entire outfit.

I'd be interested if the devs would answer the question "would dedicated servers even be on the table without the current store pricing".

  • When the camping penalty was introduced it came with the caveat that if a survivor is also within 16m of the hook you wont suffer the penalty, I assume it has been unchanged, so if there is someone close there will be no penalty incurred.

  • @scorpio said:

Her mori is way too long too. I wish the devs would consider how much time is wasted during a mori animation when creating them. The length of the Pig’s should be the standard.

    Yea, that's the whole point?

Lmao "I want my effortless kills to be instant thanks BHVR".

If you want to run mori's deal with the extra time you waste doing the animation, as opposed to the two extra hooks you'd have to go through, seems fair to me.

  • All you have to do is report on the end game screen, reporting ensures that a chat log is saved and sent to the moderator team.

  • Starbreeze is no longer affiliated with Behavior or Dead By Daylight so I find it incredibly hard to believe.

Also, even if it was true, why would it matter?

  • @shinymon said:

So just to be clear it won't count as "farming" if the survivors decide to fool around with me? The other match I was the hag and doing nothing but laying down traps by the open gates with the other survivors playing along. They could have escaped any time they wanted to.

Farming isn't bannable as long as you're not forcing anyone to do so.

an example would be continuously chasing someone, picking them up and dropping them constantly so you can re-chase or trying to force them to do gens etc.

Dribbling wasted lots of time aswell, still it got removed

Dribbling wasted a very small amount of time, and is being removed because of the DS Rework. Why would they get rid of gentapping?

It's ridiculous, right? They got rid of the reason you feel the need to dribble, which is fine they made DS way weaker imo.

It's really annoying seeing people try and equate things all the time, llike survivors crying about noed when it isn't nearly the same as NOED.

Now dribbling isn't a thing because they heavily nerfed the reason it exists and now they want rid of gen tapping, it's insane.

  • I know you're not asking about the killer but I'm seriously hoping for a double Female DLC drop.
They're severely lacking on both sides and it's a bit of a shame.

What do you do? Slug and assume they have it? Or pick then up and risk the stun?

Down the unhooker that doesn’t have the chance to use it then?
    Depends man.

Who unhooks while injured? Nobody. You gotta hope the unhooker can't make it to the exit gates before you can hit them twice.

    Then there is the kobe/Deliverance.
If it’s end game you’re probably camping if you can’t hit a survivor running at your hook twice then that’s your problem tbh.
  • I find killer incredibly easy tbh.

I promise you that if SWF was taken out of the game, DBD would die.

You DO realize that for its first few months, there was no SWF and at some time survivors would lobby-dodge until they wound up in the same game as their friends? SWF was introduced to stop that. Until then, there was no SWF mode. The game was balanced around being isolated.

No it wasn't, they stated a few streams ago when they released they only had time to do KYF or SWF, and they opted for KYF.

Stop spreading misinformation - SWF was always intended.

what wasn't intended is player being so poor at the game that they can't handle it.

Yep,because swf CLEARLY doesn't give any advantage to the survivors.

I bet you're the kind of guy to call a team of solo players SWF.

  • The game will never be scary for veteran players.

I wish people would stop making suggestions based on trying to make the game "scary" it just wont happen.

Make suggestions and give good reasons for them.

Sure you might jump at myers pulling you off a gen but most people jump at unexpected things happening.

I don't use NOED but when killers camp they say to do gens, when you do gen too fast and you get hit by NOED they say to do totems.

If you don't gen rush with a camping killer someone will die and another person will be camped.

I don't have an issue with noed but lets not pretend it doesn't reward really scummy camping gameplay and punish survivors who are being smart against campers.

Do gens and totems. No matter what it's always avoidable.

    No it's not.

Doing Gens & Finding all the totems before the camped survivor dies is a big ask, you either do all the gens the survivor dies and the killer gets to camp another with NOED or You do the gens, and the totems by the time thats done the killer is on his second.

Imo the timer for how long it's active to be used after unhooking is too long. If you're seriously getting tunneled that hard, a much lower timer will be effective. At 60 seconds I could literally make it across the map, down and hook someone else, then come back to find them again and they are still in that 60 second window to get the DS on me. That scenario isn't a tunnel and I get punished. I like the change, just lower the timer some so that it really is JUST an anti-tunnel perk, not an immunity for a minute perk. Yeah this is what I thought too. If you haven't been hit by around 30-40 seconds then you aren't being tunneled. 10 seconds to run away from the hook. 16 seconds to be healed, 32 if you self-care which barely anyone does after an unhook. 20/30/40 seconds would be plenty of time. Hell even 30/40/50.

If you dont see anyone and stumble across a survivor within those 60 seconds you could be punished gor unintentional tunneling.

Id like to think the 60 seconds is for anti-slugging measures to an extent. If you tunnel somebody with the new D/S off a hook and down them, you need to wait to counter the perk. If it was only 10 seconds that would be kinda garbage, if i was pig i would just t-bag you for 10 seconds and then hook you as i laugh at your wasted perk.

Yeah 10 is too short I agree, I just think 60 is a bit too long. Anyone who's intentionally tunneling wont be trying to hook a survivor 60 seconds later.

I think it's fine at 60, any lower and the killer will sit and wait every time before hooking imo.

60 is a nice time because while a killer could wait out the timer a lot of other things will be done by survivors, any less and it's safe for the killer to wait it out if you know what i mean.

I don't think any killer would wait for the full 40. I just feel theres enoigh leway in 60 seconds for it to be exploitable.

You have killers who face camp, an additional x amount of seconds wont really matter too much to them.

but 60 seconds is far less encouraging to do it than a shorter timer.

But sure, paint everyone under the same brush because YOU went to a forum and saw it.

  • I think if you're playing at rank one the majority of the time you "Should" need addons.

If you're supposedly playing against the best and never needed addons to compete then that would point towards the idea that addons are just OP anyway.

And the whole "addons built in" malarky is silly. It's not that these addons should be "built in" it's that the killers should just have had that as base.

The wraith doesn't have "swift hunt" built in, it was just the best way for devs to describe what they were doing. They agreed that to make him stronger and more enjoyable to play he should have the speed coming out of cloak.
