Like others have pointed out, Hysteria only triggers on basic attacks, so it doesn't do anything special for Legion's frenzy.
-
And a map, thank the entity.
-
The survivors are characters from Resistance and all the famous RE heroes will be sold as legendaries. /s

This was Year 5.
Also, eh, the new content wasn't the best this year, Elodie, Cheryl, and Pyramidhead make them 3/8 in terms of nice additions; but in terms of the game health, Year 5 has been pretty nice. The only time the game was truly a glitchy disaster this year was the first few weeks after BoK, but let's face it, only a few weeks of unplayable garbage a year is really good considering DBD's track record.
-
This has so little context that it's practically meaningless. If you take it as it's written then it's literally meaningless.
-
Yes, load times seem really bad all of the sudden. I played a bit yesterday and there were a lot of times where it was taking so long that I was thinking someone must have DC'd, but then the game started as usual after over a minute of waiting. I was having internet issues at the time though, so I thought it was just me until I was watching a streamer later and was actually able to count that it took nearly three minutes for one of their matches to load. Things are definitely off.
-
LMAO at this old Freddy nostalgia.
Old Freddy was the worst killer in the game for BOTH sides. If you played him a lot, sure, you could get to a point where the game was fun for you as the killer, he was still as terrible as ever for the Survivors.
Old Freddy sucked, he's gone, and the game will forever be better because of it.
-
I've never thought about it at all, to be honest.
-
I was too slow and now my rank isn't resetting at all while they fix the issue. Looks like I missed out on this super-derank.
Some guys get all the luck.
-
No. Pointless sums them up quite well.
-
Well you see, it's only free/cheap/undeserved if it helps Survivors.
-
To be fair, the mask is quite unique and her body underneath the outfit is different from her previous looks (and not far from healthy, either?). But the dress itself is what you notice the most and it really feels similar to all her other outfits. Same old, same old with the Plague.

You're really complaining about the live version of Lucky Break? It's essentially a one time use perk at this point.
He probably had this lazy post all ready to go and was going to post it no matter how hard it got nerfed from the PTB.

The fact that he's just some guy.
Over here we have a cannibal wearing someone else's face. Here's a floating, faceless nurse. Here's a mutant woman with a ghastly conjoined twin. Here's a disembodied spirit. Here's an insane doctor who's harnessed the power of electricty and mind control. Here's an interdimensional mutant. Here's a Kpop star who has throwing knives.
Really not seeing your point here.
Nurse isn't faceless. She's just a woman with a pillow case on her head. There are way too many goons in a mask in this game as it is, Trickster's design is way less of a Scooby Doo cliche than the lot of them.
-
You guys know there's a difference between bait and a joke, right?
-
Claudette's is the least jarring and seems the most faithful to her original look. The only issue is that she looks different in the video compared to the picture model, but I did like the latter version. So I'm not unhappy with how they treated my main.
I have a lot of mixed feelings about the other three. All of them need major tweaks, imo.
-
People have been asking for model updates for years. You are definitely in the minority on this one, OP.
-
I agree with the OP... since the day they introduced the cosmetic store back in 2018 I've been complaining about how often they deviate from her original hair color, and now it looks like they might actually change it outright. I do think that I'm fine with the changes to her eyes, but it's her mouth that should match her old model more imo.
-
The new model is "prettier" but some of her better facial features are completely muted, and she lost her intense demeanor. Add that they lightened her hair, and I'm not really a fan. I hope the redesign is still a WIP.
-
I'm surprised no one has said Yun-Jin yet. Thankfully they asked about her in the survey so hopefully we might see something for her, but she's at the top of my list honestly. Well, at the top besides the obvious Nea/Quentin problem.
-
Any of you who didn't vote for Scooby Doo, I'm extremely disappointed in you.
-
Loving this definition of "second chance", I mean, in what world is the upcoming Iron Will + Lucky Break combo a "second chance"? It makes escaping a chase easier, so that's a second chance??? By that logic, there are a ton of perks that try to do the same thing and should be on the list... Oh, is it because unlike those perks, the combo isn't complete trash? Well no, that can't be it, because you put MoM on your list too.
Basically, like every other "second chances!!!" discussion ever had on this form, this is just aimless whining about perks actually being useful.
-
Well aren't you a ray of sunshine.
They're also the same devs who gave us everything good about the game, ftr.
-
It'd be a complete waste of the license to push out a chapter without a map this time. They have to have one, only question is what they'll choose since there's so many good options.
-
I've never even played RE and can't help but be pretty excited. I wonder if it will deal with the Resistance game in any way or stick to the classic RE content.
-
Nah.

No one ever talks about the extra female skins either
Yes, exactly.
-
But what would happen to all the "fun" of having teammates throw a tantrum and sandbag you for cleansing a totem because they don't realize you're ALSO running Inner Strength?
Seriously though, not sure how I'd feel about this. The problem with showing them pre-game is that solos will grief and moan about everyone's perk choices to the point where lobbies would just become obnoxious. It'd be even more of a headache than ranks and character levels, which they already had to hide from Survivors to prevent constant dodging. Your idea of showing them mid-game might work, though most players would only recognize the more common perks. The system we have now is okay in that regard because it only shows up when the relevant perks are actually active. Balance-wise it's a significant change, but then again SWF can already have all that information anyway so it couldn't be that earth-shattering. One other argument against it is that for the majority of perks it really won't matter at all if they know you have them, and then there are some perks you don't want your teammates to realize you're running, like Left Behind.

Technically 16 female survivors if you include Lisa, Cybil and Alessa
But why would you, those are just skins. No one ever talks as if there's six more killers, the Minotaur, Krampus and four Robbie the Rabbits.

Plenty of good perks have come out for survivors. The issue is, they aren't "second chances", so they aren't considered good enough to be in the survivor meta.
In other words, you agree, the perks that have come out ARE much worse than the meta perks, and no metaworthy perks have been released in a very long time. Coulda just said that.
-
Maybe, or maybe that's just the way luck plays out sometimes. I did pull a pink key from a chest today without any looting perks, but also saw the same usual bad pulls in other matches. With just one player's experiences you never can tell.
-
Shocked at seeing that many Jakes, and wouldn't have expected that many Cheryls either. Also a bit less Ace than expected, but other this matches with my games pretty well. Thanks for sharing, I love seeing this kind of thing.
-
Considering they've officially announced that as the release date, everyone should.

Tab out, play something else on my phone, etc.

inner strength aint meta, and decisive strike hasnt been the shrine for 2 years.
DS was on the shrine last month.
Edit: And even before then, it never appeared in 2020, but it did appear 4 times in 2019, on average there's not thing unusual about it's appearance rate.

@Volfgang57 said:
The Shrine is random every week, excluding new perks for a set time (I don't remember it). If a perk goes into the Shrine it is then restricted from reappearing in the Shrine for at least 3 weeks, after which it is in the pool for randomly appearing again.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2041542#Comment_2041542
Decisive Strike was just in the Shrine, and Inner Strength is in the Shrine right now, so this argument is invalid
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2041570#Comment_2041570
Surge was in the Shrine 2 weeks ago, so it's still restricted from showing again for another week at least, then you have to wait for RNG
Inner Strength took 78 weeks to finally appear on the Shrine. Like, I'm not saying they do hide perks from the Shrine because the perk is useful and licensed (because they don't need to, the Shrine is so horribly designed as is that it happens naturally), but IS being on the Shrine after a year and a half would tend to support swager's point if anything.
@Orion said:
Left Behind has only been in the Shrine twice, compared to BBQ's 5 times, despite being an older perk.
It's just random. It looks like it's rare because you're waiting for it and ignoring every other result.
LB is older, but Bill's perks weren't in the Shrine rotation from the time console released until mid-2019. BBQ's been a possible perk for nearly twice as many Shrines, naturally it has more appearances than LB.

This perk basically makes Mad Grit even more useless (If that was even possible). It's what mad grit SHOULD'VE been.
If people wanna stop bodyblocking, they're gonna take starstruck, nobody and I mean NOBODY will bodyblock a killer who can insta-down them.
I hope mad grit gets a rework at some point to give it more utility because it's been power creeped
Mad Grit is way better than this as a counter to bodyblocking. With Mad Grit, Survivors will still try to bodyblock and end up taking damage for no reason because the perk. With this, Survivors will just stay out of the way entirely, i.e. they won't be giving you free hits. Starstruck only stops bodyblocking, Mad Grit actually makes bodyblocking a good thing by turning it to the Killer's advantage.

It was never announced by the team officially as releasing tomorrow. And they've said time and time again that things are bound to change, just because it followed a pattern before doesn't mean it will again. People assumed, and maybe partially rightfully so, that it would come out tomorrow, but they never said that.
Yeah, I found it pretty odd they hadn't made an official announcement of the launch date yet. Seems like there was a reason for that.
-
It's fair enough. The Survivor who wants to use DS or be saved with BT has to make a choice of crossing the trail and losing those perks, or avoiding it and going where the Killer wants them to go. But unlike the Plague's ability to negate major game mechanics or perks, PHead's negation is far from unavoidable.
-
I hadn't even realized they had announced another round of the contest already. Regardless, Claudette's new cosmetic is coming, the only question is if it'll be worth the wait.
-
It's weird. Wait times are a bit longer but I'm actually getting competent teammates and killers for once. After only trying it for an hour or so, it's been pretty decent.
-
Necromorph Legendary Skin for the Hag. Imagine a bunch of Necromorphs popping out of the ground. Such a golden opportunity.
Dead Space is easily my #1 licensed chapter wish, but I don't think it'll ever happen. A lot of practical considerations weight against it, imo. Not the least of which being the undeserved hate DS3 got.

Bring a medkit or yellow medkit with the extra brown charges addon is most of the time enough for a game.. saves you in total of 32 seconds compared to 2 selfcares (Without any slow down perks/addons/statuses).
Also OP didn't mention any of those arguments you just said, you just mentioned them to make self care look better.
Inner strength is also highly underestimated by you, if you find a totem, then do it and save it for later, it's an EIGHT second heal, x4 faster than self care, and can be done at many situations, sure this perk is useless if you don't find a totem, but 70% of the time doing gens is a better time investment than: Get hit, self care, use empathy or bond to tank a hit and self care again.. you just wasted like ATLEAST 100 seconds of time doing that, just do a gen and you control the game way more than simply saving a hook state. (Also logically if you just happen to find a totem and don't waste your time looking for one, and heal, that saves 8 seconds compared to self care that can take up way more time with sloppy, etc..)
I'm not saying self care is useless, heck it's a fine perk in SOME situations, but overdone is never good.
Whoa, slow down there, slugger. If we have to be so serious...
Inner Strength is a fine perk, obviously. Unlike Pharmacy, yes, I'd say it actually is better than Self-Care most of the time. That's not really the point though, the point is that people trash Self-Care for wasting time and then proceed to waste plenty of time themselves trying to get other perks to work for them. And sure, Medikits with 2 heals is *usually* fine.. except if you want to run any other item. Which is hardly unreasonable, since while you can substitute a medikit's effects with perks, you can't replace a flashlight, map, or key.
-
Tell us more about how much time you save running to the Basement for Pharmacy, or running around half the map to find the last totem for Inner Strength.
-
Okay, to be blunt, you must be really new if you think a perk that only helps you hide if the killer has already found someone else is A-Tier.
-
Funny thing about Lara though. Oni is already super similar to one of the final enemies in the 2013 TR game, and that game itself was pretty close to a horror game. So she's not as weird a choice as it might sound!
-
Wouldn't be caught dead in almost all of these. BK does have good shakes though.
-
Not even buying, her perks are trash.
-
They virtually always buff killers from release to PTB, to think that they won't is pretty ignorant tbh.
-
My goal whenever I run my Plunderers' build is to escape with a key and add it to my hoard.
