My least favorite killer to run into. I'm terrible against him.
-
Not a single one is better.
Most of them are worse, across the board.
Ormond is the only one that comes close to being improved. The changes on Badham are forgettable. All of the others are worse, including the upcoming ones.

Whenever he loses he'll complain about the game, or blame his teammates. But he'll always showboat and teabag upon winning. Pure cringe.
When we have large profile streamers behaving like this, it's a bit sad, as they're basically the role model for countless other players.
Whenever he loses it often is because of his teammates.
Welcome to a 4v1 game...
As for this topic, as with every topic announcing the demise of solo queue, nah. Anecdotally, I've seen only a handful of DCs in the last few months, and almost never even see first hook suicides either. Maybe it is just me, but considering how once upon a time this kind of thing genuinely was rampant, sounds hard to believe.
-
The current animations in this game are honestly awful. But we're used to them. On the other hand, that doesn't mean the new ones are better, though.
-
I've marked down the killer in every game for my last ~160.
The only one I still haven't seen is Plague. Plague is absolutely the rarest. But being so rare kind of makes her "memorable" in a way. Every time I load in I'm wondering/dreading if I'll finally run into one.
Contrary to others in this thread, I've seen a decent number of Twins and (sadly) a decent number of Blights. But Blight still probably takes the cake for most "forgettable". It's always a quick massacre and then on the next game, out of sight, out of mind.
-
IDK what you guys are talking about, I see plenty of Elodies. I certainly wouldn't call her unpopular (which is definitely surprising since like Dwight pointed out her scream makes her really annoying to play right now).
She's definitely due for something soon, but with as many survivors as we have now, it's naturally going to take longer and longer for new Survivors to get more content again. She got a new outfit for Christmas, if she gets something soon after the new chapter actually drops instead of the PTB it won't be that long of a delay.
-
lol $15 in 4.5 years.
I'm the worst kind of customer.
-
That room pictured was one of the best loops still in the game.
-
People wonder why BHVR "doesn't listen" to the community and then make threads like this.
-
Did you somehow already forget how they didn't announce the mori nerf ahead of time specifically to avoid a rush of Killers using up their stocks? Why would you expect the key nerf to be any different?

Jesus.
Good thing I wasn't on here back when ruin got nerfed.
Oh boy. You're not wrong, that was an awful time to be a part of this community.

No, almost no one is calm. It's a war zone out there.
First time?
This is easily one of the most tame post-Dev updates forum atmospheres we've ever had.

Turn into an M1 killer? Do M1 killers not already exist to you? What game are you playing cause I think you’re clearly misunderstanding the point here.
On the contrary, I understand what you were trying to do there quite clearly. You complained about DS/Unbreakable/Soul Guard in general, and then presented a highly specific scenario (A. Playing an M1 Killer on Haddonfield, B. Getting DS'd, C. Next to a specific building on the map) as if it proved your point, ignoring the obvious problem that said scenario is so stupidly rare that it doesn't even begin to make sense as a recognizable argument for your original point that those perks are bad in general. Unless you think DS somehow always creates that scenario. Which isn't too much of a stretch; you suggested slugging as a counter to Unbreakable/Soul Guard, so it's a fair conclusion that you don't understand how these perks actually work.

Yeah let me just eat your DS as an M1 killer on Haddonfield while you gain 20 meters of distance and make it to the House of Pain cause we all know that’s balanced.
Right. I love when I DS a killer and they turn into an M1er on Haddonfield. The best part of the perk.

Yes, after they gain 20 meters of distance to start looping you again while you either have 0 pressure on the other survivors or are losing it quickly. But hey, just play Spirit/Nurse/Freddy and you're good to go right?
Yes? At this point you're complaining about having to play the game.
-
The reaction to the changes so far haven't been that extreme. Most players knew and expected Undying was going to be changed in this PTB. Only a few really bullheaded individuals who were going to whine no matter what they did to the perk are unhappy right now.
-
The counter is picking them up.
I don't know how you some killers still don't know this, but you can just down someone again after they DS you.
-
It's almost like Killer and Survivor are two completely different roles with fundamentally different designs. You might as well ask why Survivors only have perks and no abilities.
-
Here's hoping The Game will finally be not awful to play on. Not getting my hopes up too high since we saw how little they did with Shelter Woods, though.
And a solemn farewell to the Asylum, the most broken loop spot in the game since 2016.

There's already a terror radius and there's already Spine Chill and they both give a bigger warning radius. Besides, Doctor and Infectious Fright are very strong and because of that Calm Spirit CAN be meta
But those don't come with a pet crow.
This is much better.
-
The possibility of not using the perk when you have multiple slowdowns is apparently too advanced for most of this community so they fuel the meme even though overall the perk is fine.
Inner Strength is obviously better, but IS is less effective with every teammate who runs it.
Depending on your teammates to actually help you in solo queue is hilariously unrealistic.

did you read my response on him? saying "kindred adds nothing for an SWF" is simply wrong...
Fine, Iet me correct myself: It does nothing for people with voice comms.
yw.

Calling out everything the killer is doing is a huge advantage.
Not to mention knowing exactly what your teammates are doing at any given time.
There's a reason Kindred is considered a strong perk even though it adds nothing for an SWF and is only active for a small window of time.
-
Couldn't care less.
-
Wait, are you saying you got Bloodpoints today or are you talking about the rest of the week?
Edit: NVM, I see what you're saying.

So I guess Bond, Botany, Deliverance, Desperate Measures, Detective's Hunch, Inner Strength, Iron Will, Kindred, Quick and Quiet, Self Care, Soul Guard, Spine Chill, We'll Make it, We're Gonna Live Forever, Deception, Flip Flop + Power Struggle, Alert, Any Means Necessary, Blood Pact, Breakdown, Breakout, Dance With Me, Empaty, Fixated, For THe People, Head On, Hope, Leader, Off The Record, Pharmacy, Poised, Resilience, and Appraisal just don't exist.
Nope.
The ONLY viable perks are DS+Unbreakable, BT, Adrenaline, and Exhaustion perks.
First of all, Deliverance, Desperate Measures, Flip Flop, Power Struggle, Alert, AMN, Breakdown, Breakout, Dance With Me, For the People, Off the Record, Pharmacy, Poised ARE all garbage,. Seriously, did you sneak Off the Record in there thinking no one would notice?
And for the majority of the actually decent perks you listed. they do not have even remotely the same purpose as the Exhaustion perks, namely, to create distance in a chase. You run them with an Exhaustion perk, not as an alternative.
Exhaustion Perks are fine as is. There's nothing broken about perks being functional.
-
They shouldn't, because it never existed, lol.
In the old days, killers faced 20s SB, 4x DS, maps loaded with pallets
Of course they complained all the time.
(Not that their side wasn't loaded with BS as well, but that's besides the point.)
-
Entity forbid some perks AREN'T unusable garbage.
-
AFAIK, the perk never actually decreased item rarity. The effect never matched the description.
Presumably, they never got the rarity effect work and just buffed the other half of the perk instead.
Making it a much worse perk.
-
The fact that OP had the gall to even imply keys were better than moris before this says it all.
-
Nah.
Way too many perks in the game consistently do absolutely nothing.
Countless perks are so bad that running them isn't any more effective than running no perks in the first place.
-
I'm more annoyed with the 500 shards. No no, can't give away too much, as if they might run out or something.
-

Personally i'm on PC with ultra: i can see survivors really far away. Might be a bug ?
Off topic, but am i the only one that can shortly see my own scratch marks when the camera is near walls ? (without the nancy perk)
Re: Seeing your own scratch marks, no, you're not alone, that's yet another bug.
-
That ship sailed a long time ago, you should have realized that by now.
-
Now this is actually ridiculous.
-
Around 2M, plus three dailys. All of the surplus is from the log-in bonuses from the last couple rounds of giveaways since I haven't bothered buying anything on the bloodwebs since then.
It's enough to unlock the new survivor's teachables and buy them on Claudette and Dwight, at least.
-
The PTB is only open for one or two weeks at a time. The last PTB ended a few weeks ago so there isn't one active right now.
The next time there is a PTB though, you'll find the option to switch over to it in the place you're looking at.

What's the point of an update if Shelter woods is still the same awful map? The look is fine, but barely anything seems reworked beyond the absolutely useless breakable walls added.
Yamaoka is still crap.
This. The MacMillan refresh was such a letdown for this exact reason.
They had the perfect chance to finally do something about Shelter Woods. But it's the same garbage map as before. Ugh.
Meanwhile Yamaoka feels more or less the same. A few tweaks and polish, but nothing much gameplay-wise..

And props for not bringing anything meaningful to the argument.
I'm not a miracle worker. I can't create something out of nothing, and there was no argument here to begin with.
You've made yet another in what seems to a be a daily onslaught of your threads bemoaning the state of the game, this time actually admitting that making these kinds of threads over and over again accomplishes nothing with respect to what you're complaining about. Truly strange stuff.
-
I will say, most of you people don't admit that you make these weird rants just to make yourselves feel better, so props to OP for that I guess.
-
Strongly disagree about the Survivor perks. These are the most interesting new Survivor perks in a long time, and it's nice to actually be excited for a new Survivor for once.
Completely agree about the lack of new Realms.
And as for the Twins themselves, this feels like the Blight all over again. On the PTB he was garbage and it looked like the chapter would be terrible, but after getting tweaked he was a viable killer. Twins could very well turn out the same way.
-
Yes, every Huntress match.
-
CDG was clearly getting changed, so not surprised with that.
Killer changes need to be in action before judging how effective they are.
I was worried reading the Appraisal changes at first, but it's actually not so bad. The item depots you could create by using all your token on the same chest was the kind of silliness that should stay in PTBs. I'll still enjoy the perk when it comes out.
-
@NoOneKnowsNova said:
Usually the PTB voice and release voice are different. Felix had the same case.
In the past that's been because the PTB voices are another character's, e.g. Yui was Meg, Spirit was the Nurse, and iirc Felix was Steve(?).
This time both the killer and the survivor have completely original audio, so it's entirely possible their voices are final. And I hope they are.
-
I can't believe that there's actually multiple people in this thread saying there are "too many" maps. tf?
Maps are one of the main ways this game stays interesting. And a new coat of paint on an old toy isn't as exciting as a new toy.

How long until the upcoming mid-chapter PTB exactly? (if you know)
Well we're still in the middle of a Chapter PTB, so the next one won't be any time soon.

@AggressiveFTW said:

When do you think the next PTB will be with the next reworked map? It sounded like you said the next PTB wouldn't have the upcoming chapter in it?
The next PTB, unless something changes, will be a mid-chapter PTB. PTBs are now every 1.5 months, new Chapters are every 3 months.
-
I don't think Lery's is going to get reworked again.
I'm guessing Red Forest/Asylum/Swamp for map reworks, saving Coldwind and others for the next Chapter. And then more perk re-balancing as the main attraction. Wouldn't be surprised if there were no major killer reworks.

Though it was a bit odd that DK literally couldn't fight of what amounts to a baby.
Meanwhile, I absolutely love that he's getting attacked by a small child and instead of trying to help Elodie just lets it happen.
She's already iconic.
