No way David lives.
David is definitely the kind of ******* that would have people lining up to kill him on Purge time.

Where's that South Park dead horse gif when you need it.

When even Otz is saying he thinks its because the Halloween DLC is still selling I'm inclined to believe it. We all know Ash sales dropped off a cliff when the MoM rework was announced.
His speculation is as baseless as anyone's.

Some things deserve to be reiterated.
Recent Discussions was already full of places they could have done exactly that.

Wow, another Pop = DS thread. Daring today, aren't we.
TY for starting the 1001th thread with the same brainless comparison.

Nobody uses pop 11 times in a match. And its 100% possible, and very likely, that theres 4 ds on the team.
4 DS games are possible, they are not " very likely". Even if that were true, 4 players with DS /=/ DS is used 4 times in a match. If you're gonna say 11 Pops is something that never ever happens (even though 10 Pops is actually not that ridiculous), complaining about 4 DS games as 'very likely' is really stretching it.
-
Or, maybe... they realized 60 seconds for a perk you can use on-demand 11 times in a game may be excessive in a way 60 seconds for a perk you can use once per match is not.
This post reveals one thing about the OP: salt.

As survivor you're just getting your mouth stuffed full and you have to do literally nothing for it. As killer you have one good gen regression perk that you have to work for and the devs are nerfing it back to uselessness. ######### this.
Patrick Star, is that you? "And now I'm gonna starve!", as if 99% of Pops don't happen 10 seconds after a hook.
Also, this is OT but: Have curse words always been uncensored when you quote someone? Sorry if everyone else has already noticed this but, I was surprised I could see the big, scary, bad word in the above post.
-
Are you also asking for DS to be made once per hook instead of once per match?
-
Meg for Survivors and Oni, or maybe Billy for Killers.

I really hope the perk rarity change cuts down a chunk of the grind.
It's just going to increase the grind, albeit not by that much.
The only thing that's changing is that all the perks that were C/U/R are now U/R/VR, which means they all cost more BP at each tier.
-
RIP???
Thana is getting buffed outside of slowing down healing. Sloppy Butcher exists.
And you seriously ever need 46 seconds to use PGTW?
Quit whining.

@ClickyClicky said:
The worst part is the excuse they gave for nerfing Pop. It perfectly explains the situation with DS too. They've opened Pandora's box there.
Not that it matters, I'd guess that upper management has them keeping survivor perks overpowered for the $$$
You're so right.
DS and PGTW should be the same.
45 second cooldown for PGTW? 45 second cooldoown for DS too.
Pop can be used after every single hook? DS after every unhook too.
-
Purple is my favorite color. I'm okay with this.
-
Probably.
Better "luck" next time, Lucky Break...
-
Sadly, they are gone forever. Only a few old players will even care whether perks are all pink or all purple, whereas the majority of the playerbase would be upset if everything became more expensive.
-
AMN could literally have a 0 second cooldown and it would still be just 'okay'.
I'm glad nothing got gutted, but when you realize just how much trash perks need attention, 11 perk tweaks is not that many. This was a wash, now we wait 3 more months for them to do anything about Felix's WOAT perks.

@Blueberry said:
I just thought they went the complete wrong direction.
They should've emphasized the silent gen progress part of the perk, not the explosion prevention. Making it completely silence the gen you're working on would've made for some fun builds.
Now it's just still a perk we'll never see.
This is exactly what they should have done.
No one cares about the skill-check crutch part of Technician.
-
As online communities go, lol no, this community is 'baby toxic' at best.
-
The simple classic maps like Autohaven, Coldwind, and Macmillan were always the most enjoyable and I've never liked how they insist on making 1 high-concept map each chapter rather than four more streamlined ones like the original realms.
I'll echo all the annoyances about breakable walls for the newer maps, but beyond that I think the recent slate of maps (since Oni's) have been better than the ones we were getting before. I still groan when I roll most of the maps from the period of The Game thru Hawkins.
-
This is a fantastic idea.

We've never not had one.

I think it's due to the amount that would dodge lobbies for things such as Self Care. Personally I would disagree with not implementing it for said reason, but thats the only real reason I can think not to show it.
There's literally a 0% chance that's the reason considering we've not been able to see each other's perks since Day One.
The more reasonable explanation is that there was never (and there still isn't) a need for that feature on PC, and console is just a PC port minus a chat.
-
I don't like the lack of endgame chat, so crossplay is off for me.
-
That checks out, then. Yeah, I've also disabled it on PC and don't see much of a reason not to.
-
It's kind of hard to tell what you're saying when you don't mention which system you're playing.
-
Meg's getting robbed again. T_T
-
They've never been consistent with this kind of thing. Even back when there were still URs, Meg had two URs and a Rare.

It's a beautiful map.

Well, head on is one of those perks that is quite situational, and you actually have to think about using, since it takes a second or two to activate in the locker.
*shrugs* Being so much more situational just makes it less useful. Harder to use, yes, more skillful? Not really.

How exactly do they take skill?
Sprint burst - hold run
Lithe - Look for nearest window
Balanced landing - Look for nearest drop
Dead Hard - Tap E for distance
The only one you could say is a well timed dodge with Dead Hard but most good players use it for distance which takes no skill.
Also no chases wouldn’t end too quickly. I spent hours and hours getting good. You can easily loop bad killers all game with no exhaustion perks, and last a good enough amount of time in a chase against better killers.
Using DH for distance requires the same timing as dodging, quit playing. If DH isn't skill, nothing in this game is; which still makes DH the closest thing to skill there is either way.
Like all too many SB/DH/Exhaustion "arguments", this thread declares the perks are broken because they allow Survivors to do X, without ever actually providing any rational reason why Survivors should never be allowed to do anything resembling X!!! The idea that SB is bad because apparently good Survivors should be hiding in lockers has gotta be a joke. Entity forbid SB lets Survivors do generators longer without giving killers a free hit.
I find it endlessly confusing that so many killers insist on making these arguments when there are WAY more killers perks you could claim are "absolutely broken" with logic that flimsy.

No, even dead hard doesn't take skill. The only exhaustion perk that takes skill is a well timed head on.
If (KillerInFrontOfLocker = true)
{
Shift+Space;
}
Wow, the skill.

I genuinely enjoy solo queue as survivor in most situations as long as it isn't someone camping, tunneling or playing Pyramid Head.
Replace Pyramidhead with Hag and otherwise, yeah, this.
(Not saying I even hate Hag here either, just that randoms are spectacularly incompetent against her.)

What you're describing is the exact reason why DS still exists. BT is already strong as is.
-
I'm both terrified and confident we'll see some stupid and unnecessary nerf to Adrenaline.

Idk why people keep saying his perks are garbage. Visionary is good for new players, and a good perk to prevent yourself from being three gen'd. Desperate measures is an amazing anti slug build, that has amazing synergy with other perks like borrowed time, botany and resilience. Built to last is the best item perk in the game, and is always fun to play around with. I love these perks.
Because they are garbage. Every single one of them.
A perk that's only good for people who are bad at the game is a perfect example of what a good perk is not.
DM is just Botany Knowledge without consistency. And no matter how many "cool 'fun' builds" get posted smashing DM and BK together, BK is just straight-up better because you don't need to have multiple people injured for it to have a reasonable effect, and you're not SOL when your teammates start dying. And the problem with insisting on using them together is that dedicating two to four perk slots to accomplishing one specific thing, like all of the OP's builds, is just... not worth it. There's a reason few people bothered using just two slots on BK and SC before now, and it's because even spending two perk slots to do one specific task is pretty hard to justify. Also, if you actually insist on healing your teammates, WMI is still the king.
And BtL is terrible, lol. Best compared to what? Plunderer's? AITH? No way. Better than Streetwise, maybe, but no one ever said Streetwise was good either.
-
Meg, of course. There might be more survivors this time since there are a lot less killers to add.
Maybe for the Blight we'll get a less corrupted version instead.

It's not that I don't want my opponenet to have fun but if I am wining because I am playing very well some people make it seem like I should stop winning. If one side is being out played why should the other go easy on them? Especially when one side wouldn't extend them the same courtesy if the situations were reversed?
That's fair, and I guess I can agree that if you're playing a normal game then the fact that the other side isn't having fun probably isn't your fault. But when people talk about a game being no fun for the other side around here, it's usually one of two things. Something like a 4-Man SWF w/ 3 Flashlights and a Key, or Iri Huntress + Ebony, the kind of things where it's clear one side won't have any fun because the other has a massive advantage from the jump. Or bad behavior like excessive BM, or slugging for the 4k, things that provide maybe a marginal level of 'fun' for one side but are a massive PITA for the other.
-
Why wouldn't you want your opponent to have fun?
Fun isn't a zero sum game, at least not beyond the unavoidable fact that winning is usually more fun than losing.

Probably some glitch with matchmaking (what's new?). My queues have also been way slower today and yesterday than they were the days before, or last week. Maybe it's because it's the middle of the week, but it seems like something's not right.

As if Felix's perks weren't already terrible, Visionary pretty much proves they haven't put any serious thought into fixing Deja Vu and probably any of the other of the ever-growing pile of useless perks.

Even worse than Darkness among us?
Darkness Among Us was pretty controversial, but one thing was clear when it came out; it must have sold really well, because Legion players were everywhere for months after it was released. All in all, the map was bad and the killer was and still is a giant mess that they can't seem to figure out how to balance, but the perks save the chapter imo. They were great on both sides. Legion's perks were super underrated at first but by now all three of them see use. No one really cares for Jeff, but his perks are alright, especially since how low the bar for survivor perks has been since 2017.
Even considering 'meh' chapters like Legion's and Plague's, they weren't quite as bad as this one is.
