What animal would you like to see added to DBD?

Edit #2: I don't want to waste any precious forum space by making a new topic, because I know they are in limited supply, so my new topic: which animal would you like to see added to DBD? So far it's crows, rats and of course Maurice. Personally I'd love to see the Spine Chill cat make an appearance on one of the maps. His hair could stand up when the killer is looking at him and he could meow when a survivor is near. What do you think @GoodBoyKaru ?

I think it will but I'm feeling pretty meh about it so as not to get my hopes up. My 2 roommates now have COVID meaning I likely have it and need to quarantine. I could really use this chapter to keep me occupied lol

• spine chill cat would be great
• new killer: The Keeper. Using his power, Hounds Binding, he can summon AI controlled doggos who, like the good boys and girls they are, nom on the survivors till they die :3
• a small donkey that I can spend time petting. it does nothing to progress the game but you can't be hurt when you're petting the donkey and, if you do it enough, they lick your face and nuzzle you.
• a small cow which, whenever anyone even thinks about making a joke to do with eating it or turning it into a hamburger, immidiately disconnects them from the trial and escalates their matchmaking ban by 30 minutes.
• another small donkey exclusive to my account that follows me all game and sits on my shoulder when im crouched or doing a gen and panics whenever im downed or on the hook.

Ohhh all great ideas but I think the first small donkey might be a bit OP tbh. What if all survivors pet him at once? They could hold the game hostage!

It would be cool if they added pets that could take place of charms. Some could walk beside your feet, some fly around your head. A parrot could sit on your shoulder

i forgot to mention the killer can also pet the small donkey and if they all pet the donkey simultaniously the Entity decides the match is a lost cause and just opens the gate for them.

I'd like to see red pandas climbing around trees and sometimes they run on the ground as well and make the Killer stumble while they run trough their feet.

Also, while you are getting chased, they'll occasionally drop on the Killers head and blind them with their butts.

My ideas for a cat and a parrot as survivor perks:

Appearance:

• Smaller and thinner than the other male survivors, in his 20s
• reddish-brown hair, undercut, pale skin tone with some freckles
• wears glasses and has a lip piercing (lower lip, on the side)
• standard shirt has a big lions face in front, in shop different colored shirts with different animal heads
• skinny jeans and high top sneaker
• at the bonfire, sits in front of the log with his cat in his lap

Perk 1: Felix the cat

You and your cat are inseparable, even in this thick fog, and you take care for eachother. The cat wanders around you with a simple KI that does not directly interact with anything and neither killer nor survivors can interact with the cat. The cat will create random scratchmarks when you are chased and will run in x/y/z m radius around you to distract the killer. While not in a chase the cat will hiss to warn you if a killer is in a radius around you, even when undetectable.

Perk 2: Polly the parrot

Polly will stay at your side and can imitate your voice almost perfectly. Polly will appear on a crow spot nearby you and will imitate you injured grunts.(tiers can be volume I guess?)

Perk 3: Lionheart

You may not be the bravest man, and certainly not the strongest. But if a friend needs you, you will be there. While unhooking you cannot be grabbed/interrupted. When getting injured or set to the dying stage, the unhook will first be perfomed til end. This perk has a cooldown of 180/150/120 seconds.

What do you think about Lukas and his unique pet-perks? Comments and ideas for balancing/rework are welcome!

I wanted to create some perks with the pets that feel a little bit different, but also have some value. Polly can be either a good alternative for Iron Will or even combo-ed with Iron Will, Felix can just create a little bit of a mess with scratchmarks and Lionheart is an attempt at another anti-camping perk, but in endgame it would feel a bit overpowered without a cooldown i guess?

Some of my other concepts (Feedback and suggestions always welcome):

Killers: The Ice Queen, Hannibal, Charlie(The Darkness), The Blair Witch, The Firebreather, The Photographer

Survivors: Paitoon Saeli

Survivor Items: Sling Shot, Spray Paint Cans, Salt Pouch, Smudge Sticks, Smoke Bomb, Voodoo Doll

Game mechanics: Horror tropes, Expanded survivor objectives

Also somehow incorporate bats into maps just like the crows, they are hanging from ceilings, can be startled and fly into the survivors so they have to fend them off their faces.

Cats. Cats everywhere. They would distract the Survivors and the Killers, who will just sit together to pet cats and have a hot chocolate together.

I would also like ability to pet Maurice (or any animals) as killer/survivor not boop/slash him.

yes xD. They protect us Survivors and will stand up in front of the Killer, making the Killer scared in the process and they'll go in a corner and cry there while the Survivors do the last gens.
