Then make an actual suggestion thread on that section on the forums that people for some reason ignore instead of attacking people who run a perk.
"attacking people who run a perk" Oh now it's "attacking" when you state a perk that 90% survivors run is OP because of the bs it provides. i hope you're kidding.
It's a crutch perk most all lean on because of the skill gap, sorry the truth hurts for some people. I've never really played this game with a DH build. Sometimes but i just don't like that kind of playstyle. There's other survivor builds i use that doesn't need that ridiculous advantage.

well if you're gonna nerf a perk based on how often it's used, then you would also think that pop goes the weasel should be nerfed too, right?
it already got nerfed, nice one

I mean.. they are both brainless and boring. Ruin 1 for slowdown, ruin 2 incase ruin 1 breaks, manual ruin incase ruin 1 & 2 fall, and tinker to show where to apply ruin by holding w at them.
If that survivor meta is skill-less, I think it's fair to mention other metas that are just as braindead.
also you're comparing a perk that you can do over and over for the whole trial to a perk that runs out and could very well do nothing with and you're left with a perkless run once the charge runs out.

Dead Hard is more hated because it's up-front, in your face denial of your hit.
Sprint Burst is better-- insidiously so.
Believe me, if you replaced every Dead Hard you saw with a Sprint Burst, you would sing a very different tune.
No i wouldn't because i play with it and against it all the time, and ive downed people in the middle of one when they don't go at the right time

DH is different than mostly all the perks in the game for the sole fact of having 2 of the strongest benefits in the game itself in one perk.

What are they supposed to run to stop the speed of survivors? nothing? It's either that or anti chase with no pressure from perks. There's so much more that goes into it than that

Similarly a Scourge Hook version Hangman's Trick could stay as is but let the auras linger for a few seconds after hooking a la Barbecue and Chili, but only if done on a Scourge Hook.
I liked the implement of scourge hooks, i think they can stir around some stuff to make perks stronger at this point and worth taking ya know?

If a survivor kidnaps Victor they are doing a favor to you. Unlike holding the box with Pinhead, a survivor holding Victor can't do gens or heal teammates. They hold the exact same value of a dead survivor.
Rank 1 killer and survivor here since 2019. Climbing my way to Iridescent on both. I find killer way easier to be creative with builds. The only slowdown I run is Corrupt Intervention on all my killers and it does enough for me to win 90% (around 75~80% after MMR) of my games, even if I mess with my 3 other perks.
Meanwhile as a solo survivor I feel way too constricted on builds. BT and DS are almost required because the killer can randomly decide he wants you out of the match in 3 minutes, Kindred is the only trace of efficiency you can have on solo and the other perk slot is the only one I feel free to mess with.
Kindred is a very good perk that i think just needs to be defaulted to help a variety of different players out and to encourage saves.
People who have Viktor though can still hop windows and loop you with a pallet. It should be that way but not having a penalty like hindered to go a long with it just makes you have hold of the power. Pinhead actually has a strength to people holding the box, Charlette gains minimal

No offense but maybe you aren't as good as you think you are with them and again nothing wrong with that.
And trust me, I too play killer at a "high" level, that is what I play the most.
Adam's perk? Deliverance?
I 100% agree with the dead hard nerf because ######### dead hard.
And yes BT is in fact way better than it was before, millions times better than before.
If you'd like to believe i am not as good, that's fine the game tells me otherwise. I am no where near a bad killer, but some killers i am not as good as others, Twins may be one of them but People play different styles and it shouldn't be one way works only in my opinion.
Deliverance yes, given you have to save first but let's forget that let's talk about how Deliverance has a high reward high risk that are equal to each other. That kind of balance should be implemented with all those super game changing perks survivor has.
also yes ######### dead hard dude.

So from your answers I can tell you are actually playing twins wrong and there is nothing wrong with that but you calling them weak shows that you really don't know their potential when it comes to downing.
The twins are heavy sluggers, more than oni, if you are using victor for the first hit, you are already playing them wrong, you are supposed to down with victor, then spread damage if possible.
And yes, twins do deserve some QoL changes, that is why I disliked this nerf that they gave them as a twins hater I dislike that change.
I can see your point of playstyle there, i can see how always choosing to down someone and leave viktor there could be better.

Coup is horrible needs a major buff maybe like how it was on the PTB, hoarder is like old stridor, it is only useful with 1 killer and oppression is kinda decent but big cooldown plus makes you lose chase since most people ignore the survivor to kick a gen.
For DS you could always ignore the recently unhooked person even if tunneling is the most efficient way to play these days.
The recent dead hard buff against twins is horrible ngl.
Unbreakable is indeed a horrible perk to play against with twins.
BT, I mean it really needed a buff to counter a lot of campers, real campers.
I understand your points but for people who play completely different in high ranks. campers don't really happen unless it's the absolute end of a match.
DS is easier to ignore now, but they can still body block and throw themselves into death while being able to easily escape. Maybe if DS had something like Adam's perk where there's a high reward and a temp debuff also. i always found that perk fair when people use it against me.
DH needs to be nerfed in general and is arguable the strongest survivor perk next to Self heal
BT is hard because it has been nerfed a few times, i don't think it's in a bad place compared to before

Well if you didn't play them wrong then you wouldn't send victor for the first hit.
I had no idea about the audio bug though.
Also you are doing adept, twins perks are garbage.
You don't have to go on a chase because they kept victor, in fact if they kidnap him then you only need to worry about 3 players instead of 4 and just wait for a good moment to call him back.
And having victor on top of you does hinder a survivor but only not allowing them to progress the match.
The broken part is also something I don't get, I never understood why but my guess is that it is so people can't heal with victor.
Also yes I understand that every survivor build since the sbmm got turned on is a copy paste build, same perks different matches, nothing you can do about that honestly.
♦ Well if you didn't play them wrong then you wouldn't send victor for the first hit.
-so im supposed to just not use my power? okay. i"ll just stand there and let them do gens as well. Why would i send him for the down hit? that makes no sense. Unless they are in the open and it's actually do able.
♦Also you are doing adept, twins perks are garbage.
-i don't think so, i"ve done other adepts all this weak and i had fun fair matches when all 4 survivors don't bring every 2nd chance perk and body block everything.
♦ You don't have to go on a chase because they kept victor, in fact if they kidnap him then you only need to worry about 3 players instead of 4 and just wait for a good moment to call him back
-even in general i feel like for how long it takes Charlotte to wake, her add ons could use a tweak to make viktor take a little longer to remove and that broken status to remain default for 20 seconds after removal, there's exposed add ons that last 30 seconds and that's more than enough time to get away so i think that's fair on my end.

If DS, DH, BT, UNB etc. weren't the only perks strong enough to be worth taking then it would be different stories. Killer doesn't have much to counter that build, unless you're the specific Nurse or something

Obviously I have said the harsh reality that killers live and even more with this MMR.
God, I'm tired of having to face the premades, having to endure click click with flashlights, see t-bags, spin the killer, etc.
Just admit it, the fear of the killer was lost and the survivors consider him a low-level player.
Dbd needs to remove the premades from public games.
You need an option where the killers choose to play public matches or play against premades. It would be fair but knowing the devs, they will do nothing about it, taking away the fun and happiness of killers players, promoting stress, anger and toxicity. So on, toxicity is created in this game.
Which has a solution but they do not want.
What this post meant to say is Survivors are overpowering killers because they are unbalanced as #########

Every game today it just feels like every part of his kit is designed to punish HIM and not the survivors. Hit a successful chain? I love pinhead and I love the concept of his power but he has been executed in such a poor manner it makes PIG look S tier. At least she can mind game with her ambush, what does he do?
Hes garbo and needs a hard QOL buff stat. His snail speed hunting chains that dont do anything

DH should simply be removed OR not give any speed dash, it is meant to avoid a hit, not get to a loop you shouldn't have reached and extend the chase for idk how long
Yeah with a DH team there isn't much to do if they know how to time it, there isn't much counter play because the chase restarts. Then 2-3 gens pop. It needs nerf bad

Hey there!
I've been wondering, that makes a killer extremely good and viable? and for the most part, the answer is High mobility.
The Nemesis is a good killer, and believe me when I say a lot of killers are in need of a change before him, BUT, I'm here to talk about a secondary ability he could have.
The secondary ability would be inspired by the Nightmare mode in Resident Evil 3 Remake, here's a short clip so you can see it.
In the following clip, you'll see nemesis RUNNING fast AF to close distance gaps between him and Jill.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ow3DWRbDl6Y
This ability would be a secondary one, used by holding control with it's own cooldown's and limitations. This can be a fix to the 3 hits you need to land with the tentacle, to close gaps against "Hold W" gamers, and would put him instantly in the top of the A tier. This is what our beloved nemesis deserve!
I remember watching video of a guy getting the ######### scared out of him with that, id love it
-
@NomiNomad said:
No, he's definitely weak.
Escaping from his chains is laughably easy, and I think a Pinhead has only ever gotten a hit from his chains twice with them in the now upwards of 10 games I've played against him.
I also find his Box incredibly easy to handle. Go to a safe loop, or even better an incline of some kind. Chances are if Pinhead teleports, he'll be on the outside of the loop or down a flight of stairs.
Yeah he sucks, an easy killer. They will prob give him a QOL buff like they did with the others (Nemesis, Demogorgon)

Not to sound rude, but do you play survivor? Do you/have you used dead hard?
The good majority of the time you end up exhausted on the ground unless you time it absolutely perfectly and most of the times killers can bait out a dodge. There is a reason it's nicknamed 'Dead'. Just try it for a few games of survivor and see how often that happens to you using it. The distance is so miniscule even if you got to the next pallet or window most of the time you get downed shortly after anyways.
And if you are chasing a person for too long and they extend the chase with dead hard, why not just drop the chase anyways? You aren't applying any pressure to anyone else/the gens. That was the advice I got when I had my first killer match ever, and ya know what it's right - choose your battles.
@Marcavecunc said:
Dead Hard is one of the easiest exhaustion perks to counter.. If you know they have it, or expect them to have it, wait a second longer before going for a lunge/hit.. they'll use it.. then you can chase for an extra second and down them. Easy peasy, lemon squeesy.
Not when they put themselves in the perfect spot not to get hit in a lot situations, or to reach the pallet not dodgeing a hit or the window

My survivor matches are still me carrying the entire team, having to get all the saves because nobody is going for them, having to do all the gens because nobody is doing them, getting chased, almost certainly always being 1 hooked at the end, survivors going down in less than 20 second chase, running weird goofy builds and generally just wandering the map aimlessly or hiding at the mere sound of a terror radius. Meanwhile the killer is quite competent and running full meta builds/killer which makes me wonder why the Killer isn't a potato like my teammates are.
We all knew this new implement was gonna do nothing. I'm not surprised, to me if anything it feels like im getting even more of the sweat lords with full DS,DH,BT,Unbreakable, or Adrenaline. That;s all they bring out of that whole roster 90% of the time

Idk, most people i see play that have large hours, big streamers too or my tourney friends on discord say he is good, and I play him pretty good too. His m2 could use some QoL buffs but he is pretty good. Him being just an m1 115% killer alone makes him playable, and his power is great. It's not even as hard as I first thought, his power is fairly easy to get used to even on console, and the pressure and slowdown you can get going is crazy. Seems like people compared him to clown, then got mad when he doesn't play like clown and has a different playstyle. Say he is ######### all you want, it seems like the people saying he is awful really won't change their mind, but when he gets over buffed because you guys think he is bottom tier, don't make posts crying saying he is annoying or op lmao he is already annoying to face a good one
There is no slowdown or pressure at higher ranks. You hold Shift+W and Right Click at the same time and you're free and even have enough time to vault or stun 90% of the time. If anything small it should atleast QOL update to make the chains hold longer or hinder the survivor a little more
