I've noticed in the forum most ppl complaining about the killer mains being annoying to play right now cuz MMR, nerfs and no killer swaps.

Always are instantly harrased by survivors trying to defend their "perfectly balanced" MMR system.

"Get flashlight saved multiple games in a row" - Learn to deal with it.

"Get genrushed and can't change killer" - 'Learn to deal with it'

At this Point killers WILL camp and tunnel so they "deal" with the issue that DbD isn't going to solve: MMR, Crazy nerfs for the wrong killer (deathslinger for instance), meaningless buffs for underpowered killers (clown for instance) and not being able to swap killers when your lobby is full of toolboxes or flashy's.

And I feel it's always survivors Telling us we complain about the game but you don't see us camping/tunneling because we try to deal with it. It's just you can't deal with it lately so killers will camp surv to ruin the Fun. Just like they did.

Again it's just how I experience it though.

I say time and time again i don't believe that they have any devs on high ranking status to know how we feel or talk about these issues that idk how they DON't see. We need actual balanced POWER in the killers hands not the survivors

Threads like this one is exactly the problem with this community.

It’s like one side can’t wait for the other side to have something of theirs nerfed so they can act like they went back to 8th grade and make fun of them.

I understand keys were unfair but at the same time they weren’t always unfair. Just like with Moris… not everyone tunneled off of first hook. Some people were already using moris as they were adjusted to.

It’s like you guys aren’t happy in Victory or Defeat anymore. Gotta just bash each other as much as possible.

On either side it's mostly the survivors who don't leave when the EGC happens, they stand there till almost the last minute cuz that's all they can do now to try and be cheeky. Or they t bag you and talk crap in after chat from bullying you with swf alpha squad tactics, a lot of killers reactions is thanks to killer just overall being stressful and having to deal with the antics.

What do survivors have to complain about? Being tunneled? Camped? There's so many second chance perks and ways to overcome camping at this point. With tunneling it can be frustrating but if you suck at hiding it's not the killers fault you're an easy target.

You must have missed all the post of killers crying about Boon Totems.

    "Just do bones", right?

Talk about the shoe and the other foot.

Oh because it's obvious that's what survivors want and killers don't. It's kinda dumb tbh

  • @nikodemo said:

Generally, I think survivors are too fast. It drags out chases, leads to hold-W meta and Scooby Doo esque looping.

It's excessive. Their run speeds need to be toned down, or maybe exhaustion slows you down more.

A common argument survivor mains would do a backflip over in distress.

Nerfing boon totems from ptb wont solve anything, they need to be removed entirely because its not soloq killers struggle and complain about.

Its SWF,that will absolutely take advantage of boon totems and will become meta.

So not only you added a new objective for the killers instead of survivors, you also buffed the main issue killers had with survivors,SWF.

Boon totems been in the works for months yet they didn't see this problem coming, what's more concering is how they we're released on PTB after months in the work.

When this game will get some serious competition, and its gonna happen soon, players wont have to deal with stuff like this because they have no other options anymore.

That healing one Mikaela is getting is absolutely Ludacris along with the whole Boon idea all together.

I'd rather a different way: Blessing a hex totem should double the time. It doesn't make sense that you would get the hex back when what the survivor is doing is undoing what the killer had there.

Same these boon craps are really confusing and i didn't think i'd ever see something like this.

  • @randonly said:

Love pig. Will be interesting to have all survivors at the beginning of the game with the RBT already installed on heads (video tape combos with other add-ons), but I expected more small modifications to her power (to offset the nerf in the main add-on combo), ie, increase the movement speed a little while crouched (indepedent of add-on), increase the speed of the switch of postures (from chouched to standing) and add chase music. Too bad they didn't add chase music anyway, it would be the difference.

I'm happy she also got a crouch speed buff

Us vs them has nothing to do with recognizing a perk is busted or not, it’s shaming the other side for running it by calling them toxic or no skill. That’s why I also hate it when people keep saying Spirit players have no skill.

I don't know if i answered this one but i don't like it when people say Spirit has no skill either, even more so after this gut they planning on her.

Back to this topic tho, The reason i call it toxic and no skill is because most know how much of bailout for failure that perk is so they t bag and extend chases x2 or 3. There's not much counter play for the killer in these instances other than just watch gens fly on and more t bagging

  • @Falkner09 said:

Using Sprint Burst well requires the survivor to constantly move slowly throughout the game until the killer is right on you. You sacrifice pressure and efficiency for it. Dead Hard is a dodge move that bails you out with free invincibility even if you can't use the dodge move properly. It's just a bailout for failure.

That's a good title for DH "It's just a bailout for failure."

  • @ProveKa said:

"Unfortunately, due to time constraints and the size of this mid-chapter, the change to The Spirit which would cause her to kick up dust while phasing needed to be pushed until further notice. The directional audio will be in the mid-chapter PTB as planned.

We’ve seen some mixed feedback to the dust change specifically, so we will monitor feedback closely from the PTB and subsequent release to see if this change is ultimately necessary."

It didn't even reach the PTB and they are already scrapping it. Yes, I know that's not what they said in the first paragraph, but the second one is pretty much "we heard killers didn't like a killer nerf so we are thinking about scraping it even before anyone got a chance to try it". Goes to show how scared they are of upsetting killer mains.

I'm curious how fast the Deathslinger nerf will be reverted and how fast the boon totems will get nerfed into oblivion.

they are careful specifically with this change because 1 small tweak and can alter the swing heavily towards survivors. She's meant to go camo and being tracked or having some detail of tracking all the time makes her power pointless. Let's be real

It is actually a big deal because she's gonna be a joke dude i can feel it lol. Then we back to before when they gave her any sort of strength, If this is too strong as well why such a nerf when veteran players could beat her fine

No BP earns mixed with changes ill hate, that sounds not fun. Also you can tell now where she's coming from tbh

  • @danielmaster87 said:

It keeps getting pushed, this mentality that the survivors should have advantage in chase over the killer. Spirit needs sound and game knowledge to make a read on the survivor's whereabouts and hit them. Now survivors have so much info on her, that they're able to make reads on the killer. And when she runs out of her power with no hit, she's 110% again. 110%ers are supposed to be powerful. Spirit is pretty much a joke now. Just take away the stand-still mindgame and she was good. But they went overkill and gutted her. Time to look for another top 3, or if that's even allowed at this point. Now it'll probably be more like top 2: Nurse and Blight, and everyone else below them may as well be E tier because they can't compete with the best teams. No shot.

They over here buffing and buffing surv along with that witch girl and her dumb perks imo. I agree she was gutted, if they took away the dust trail like i heard that's a start but it already just sounds like anything she does all the info falls into the swf hands which is the sole reason she got buffed before

Game sense. As a newer Spirit, the survivors always knew where I was. Obviously with more experience, I could get a little more creative to make that more difficult for them, but this is objectively a noob survivor problem by definition.

    someone who get's it

  • Yeah and now it's way to easy, a dust cloud to follow her while she uses her power which is supposed to camo her, sounds already gave it away when you got close to someone now. Peeps just cry so hard dude

  • @legacycolt said:

There was nothing a survivor without iron will could do. She needed the nerf.

The amount of information that is crossed to the survivor compared to now is ridiculous and idk why she even bothers going invisible.

This change is something newer players are gonna find challenging and for veterans she's more of a joke now

  • @[Deleted User] said:

No matter how much experience you have... how are you supposed to predict spirit with no direcitonal audio? This isn't a noob survivor problem.

It was too easy before, then they made it challenging for survivors vs spirit, now there's all these details to track her. It really seems like back peddling to me and a useless addition to make her crap

So basically you still won your match but just the inconvenience of having people DH against the easiest counter to DH the hag is enough to warrant hate.

Like I get it that perk is annoying to deal with but I don't think you can complain when you got basically a 4k

    @Katie_met said:

I’m a survivor main. I loathe this perk. It’s such a cheap perk, and rewards the survivor if they mess up or if they get outplayed. It’s a good idea for extending chases, but if it takes for you to use dead hard to have a good chase then you’re not good at survivor. I have plenty of long chases without using dead hard.

You literally have other survivors who use it or main survivor calling it a cheap perk and you're over here like "so basically". SO basically you're downplaying it. gotcHA

My only big complaint about Dead Hard is when it's used for distance. Frustrating to deal with as the "Just bait the dead hard bro" argument I keep hearing doesn't really do anything. There's nothing to bait, they DH outside of lunge range to make it around a long loop again.

This is a minor gripe, but I find out dead hard works pretty janky. It seems that for the duration of the DH dash, your survivor simply has no hitbox. This means you can dead hard over trapper traps for instance, which is chase-ending on narrow corridors where the trapper's only option is to step through the trap and self-stun.

They do have no hit box, well not really. They are immune to dmg during the duration. Simply put like i've said a lot..DH provides 2 of the strongest benefits in the game with no counterplay to the survivor

  • @23flash said:

I can't stand when y'all waste precious time bitching about a perk that has counterplay, can only be used once every 40(at max) seconds, a perk that only creates slight space or dodges 1 hit, and that half the users don't even know how to properly use. You're ridiculous. It's not as if you can't get caught shortly after like dang. stop. focus on the real issues like lag, skill based matchmaking, people taking the game hostage and refusing to participate in normal gameplay, trolling and gameplay abuse. So many things smh.

  • @Advorsus said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2520337#Comment_2520337

That was my exact idea behind this. Why am I only using one??? They're supposed to be a legion! I really wanted the ability to give them a unique power that involves using all of them in one match, without being too strong.

Originally i thought that was the whole point of calling them "The Legion" (The Many). Then we have this.

  • @Advorsus said:

This is my idea for how they could rework Legion to make them a lot more unique, and a lot more fun to play, without making them ridiculously overpowered. First thing's first, his power. It's being changed slightly and called something different, so no more feral frenzy, kind of, more on that later.

    New power: Unleash the Hoard

Press and hold the power button to unleash one of the other members of the legion, (much like how Charlotte and Victor work, without the stomach). They move at high speed and gain the ability to vault pallets (same as current legion). Hitting a survivor during this time injures them like normal, but no longer inflicts deep wounds (more on this later). You also no longer receive killer instinct for injuring survivors, but can now see blood and scratch marks at all times. Hitting a survivor while your power is active now applies a different status affect based upon which member of the legion you currently are. Once you hit a survivor while your power is active it immediately refreshes the power bar and unleashes the next member. This power has 3 charges for each member past the first, and unleashing a member consumes one charge. You can now down a survivor while using your power, but all three charges must be used on the same survivor for it to down. If the survivor is already injured, the first attack only applies it's status affect and all 3 charges must be used still.

You can use the activate ability button to revert back to the last member you were, ending the power early.

Stunning the legion also ends the power early. Keeping you in the current member.

If your power bar runs out before getting another hit in your power ends.

Once the power ends early, you receive a small 1 second recovery. (Like legion currently but much less).

You do not receive this recovery time if you down a survivor during while your power is active. You simply stay as the current member and revert back to normal speed.

I really wanted this power to feel unique while offering different options based upon how you want to play them. You can choose to focus one survivor and down them, or choose to try and spread out your status effects so that survivors have to cleanse totems, therefore slowing the game down just a little.

Also, with this change, making it to where you can have your own custom loadout of legion, choosing which order your members unleash when using your power. Giving you even more options for your style of play.

Speaking of status effects, as stated before each one will have their own affect that get stronger based upon the add-ons you choose.

Frank: Hitting a survivor while using Frank during unleash the horde inflicts the deep wounds status effect. Must mend to remove like normal.

Susie: Hitting a survivor while using Susie during unleash the horde inflicts the blindness status effect. Must cleanse any totem (hex or dull) to remove.

Julie: Hitting a survivor while using Julie during unleash the horde inflicts the Mangled status effect. Must cleanse a totem or fully heal to remove.

Joey: Hitting a survivor while using Joey during unleash the horde inflicts the Hemorrhage status effect. . Must cleanse a totem to remove.

Being put into the dying state or being unhooked also cleanses the status affect.(This way you still have a bit of counter play if all totems are cleansed.) Also keeps the killer from just leaving you slugged with a bunch of debuffs.

And finally, some of the add-ons. You'll still have ones that affect things like power recovery, but you'll also have ones that are specific to that member, to help empower your playstyle more.

    First, the Iridescent add-ons.

Iridescent button: Requires one less hit to put the survivor in the dying state. Meaning instead of having to hit them with 3 different members, you only have to hit them with two.

Fuming mixed tape will be reworked into a new one

Mix tape-All for me: You are limited to only one member, and only one charge, but that member gains the status affects of all members while using their power. Their power no longer downs survivors. Trumps all other add-ons.

    Purple add-ons:

Mix tape-Feral Frenzy: You now longer see blood stains or scratch marks. However hitting a survivor inflicts the deep wounds, refills your power, and grants you killer instinct on survivors not inflicted with deep wounds. Trumps all other add-ons.

Frank's mixed tape: Reduces the survivors mend bar and increases the amount it takes for a survivor to mend while inflicted with deep wounds.

Susie's mixed tape: Makes Susie's attacks inflict the oblivious status effect, but only lasts 20 seconds.

Julie's mixed tape: Makes Julie's attacks inflict the broken status affect, but only lasts 60 seconds.

Joey's mixed tape: Causes a survivors blood to be considerably more discernable than normal.

Those are the only perks I'm listing right now, but most of the others would be changed to kinda fit into that archetype perks.

I know it's long, but I'd love to hear thoughts on the idea.

i always liked the idea of all 4 of them chasing you but couldn't figure out how to go about it

Allows us to see the whole match instead of what you chose to include

It doesn't matter what my build is. The focus is that the copy and paste build you see above is used almost every match because of the ridiculous over powered benefits it provides you with compared to any other perk build.

  • @Ramxenoc445 said:

Calling a perk build a problem because you don't like it is just silly. Dead hard half the time doesn't even work. You press the button to react to a killer swing and you go down. I've had plenty times where I pressed it before they swing and still get downed during the animation. Then see now exhaustion which means it didn't work or i'm on the floor exhausted which means it worked but not really. Perk isn't a problem just get better at reading it and its a near useless perk. I've even had killers lunge right after i've used it and they get the hit.

Sorry not because "i don't like it" go away with ur survivor main post.
