One could argue that the existence of the hatch screams “I’m entitled to escape just because I lasted the longest.”Options 1 and 2 sorta scream "I'm entitled to kill 4!" by stacking the deck against 1 person way too heavily.
-
Oh, please be Until Dawn! Sam as the survivor, Hannah/Wengido as the killer!

Let him walk through pallets occasionally. Walking through walls and other such things is kinda Jason’s thingDreamnomad said:I honestly don't care if they ever add Jason or not. It seems like the design space for his character is pretty crowded already. What would his power even be?

The Doll might be better for Chucky, The creeper? just use Creeper XD

I hope they work with TrueTalent and Monto, but small streamers need some love too

I think 10/20/30 is the sweet spot here. It would finally have a purpose in endgame buildsTheHourMan said:
Or made it 5%, 15%, 25%. A 25% boost would be very noticeable. As it is now, rank 1 Fired Up has a very tiny difference from rank 3 in terms of percieved time. You wouldn't notice the difference between ranks unless you were specifically paying attention for it.Sandt21 said:

Fair point. I was just hoping for new basement builds. You know, multiple types of basement builds. Because as it stands, territorial imperative and monstrous shrine are both nearly wasted perk slots in their current form.CoolAKn said:Territorial Imperative is a very situational perk, and quite frankly, it's fine as it is. Killers would only need it if they are planning on a lot of basement plays, such as Monstrous Shrine, Agitation, and Iron Grasp.

No it doesn't
Saying that it keeps the current stuff you have always is dumb. I know that it does that, but I'm talking that they could easily have a slot that keeps things the way you want it, and then you could change things around.
It doesn't do that. Don't think so liberal.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm hoping we one day get a mountain range type of map.

One buff I would suggest is to make the first totem cleansed in a match to automatically be a haunting grounds totem. That way, they won't get lucky and get your ruin or other hex perk on the first totem. It could be a "hex protector" hex

Wait, the devs are no longer gonna change self care to having to self care in a single go, and stopping a self care will reset the timer? I loved that idea. It made Nurse's Calling a self care counter.ZombieGenesis said:Sadly the devs have buckled to survivor pressure and have dropped the idea to modify SC. Which is too bad because I think it needs to be reworked quite a bit. Right now it encourages reckless gameplay because there is little to no real consequences for it. Without it players would need to be much more careful about what they do and how they do it.

Blood Warden is a fairly niche perk, I'll admit, but it's practically mandatory for Endgame builds. Remember me, Blood Warden, NOED, and a forth perk of your choosing. (I go with BBQ and Chili for the aura readings and extra BP)

I would LOVE double blood point at the cost of having to face SWF groups. Plus, it would make the blood point grind less tedious. Survivors are supposed to be at the disadvantage without teamplay, one would argue.Dwights_leftfoot said:If the killer closes the hatch and ds is eliminated why don't we just start the match on the hook and give the killers the four kills they want?
Id be fine with keeping DS as is if there was a perk that truly countered it. Not a strategy such as "drop and pick up, but a perk that truly countered it. For example a perk that made it impossible to escape the killers grasp, but reduced the killers movement speed by 50 percent while carrying a survivor. There. Done. Gets around DS, but with one hell of a drawback -
Um.......didn't the devs say that, in an upcoming patch, the killer will be able to close the hatch is he finds it first? That is pretty much all the balancing the hatch needs
-
What?? Hangman's trick is awesome! Yeah, it's not meta, but not ever having to worry about finding a hook in theme when carrying a survivor? That's pretty great. Plus, during events, people like to be jerks and sabotage event hooks. This perk kicks that strategy in the nads.Legacy_Zealot said:

Myers is the most balanced killer IMO and one of the most fun. No changes needed.Agreed (except maybe a bit of tweaking to his perks)
What tweaks were you thinking?
I find Play with your Food a bit weak. Letting a survivor escape doesn't sit well with me in such a time pressured game.
Dying Light is sort of OK but I find it hard to justify taking it instead of other more powerful perks.
-
It really does bother me that someone lost their rightfully earned cosmetics, and that there is even one person, let alone several, in this thread telling him to just "get over it". Wow. There are some pretty terrible people out there

Did the devs say that the killer will be able to close the hatch in an upcoming update?

Awesome build! I'm doing this first chance I getthesuicidefox said:Strongest and most OP build on Myers is Hex Ruin (Hag), Dying Light (Myers), Play With Your Food (Myers), and Whispers (universal killer perk), with Fragrant Tuft of Hair and Judith's Tombstone. You will need to stalk A LOT but never need to hook anyone. Once you get enough EW to just about get to tier 3, look for the obsession. Chases them 3 times, pop EW, then tombstone them ASAP (tombstone is a standing mori special to Myers). If you kill this person before Ruin goes down, the game will stop because DL+Ruin basically stops gens completely. Use Whispers to find the rest.
-
My advice is to get two perks as fast as possible. "We're gonna live forever" for survivors, "BBQ and Chili" for killers. Without these, the bloodpoint grind really is quite tedious

Then all he really needs is to be able to move at full speed when revving up the chainsaw. There. Offense is now terrifying That would make him better but he would still be weaker than Billy because he doesn't get launched forwards and still lacks mobility.
You sacrifice mobility to down multiple people. Fair trade, in my eyes. Except that you almost exclusively down multiple people by camping a hook, which puts us back at square one
I camp the hook and the gens around it, true, but that's what he does, and he does it amazing well. This is what we are trying to get away from though; his prime playstyle being a camper.
Fair enough, and I get that, but shouldn't there be a killer who excels at that playstyle? There should be a killer for every type of playstyle, camping included. And while I'm not the biggest fan of camping, the devs have stated that camping is a valid strategy. Oh yeah don't worry I understand that, I just feel there are better ways to do it and LF is not how I would have done it. I think they should shift LF to be a more aggressive killer and the, if they want to, make a killer that IS more defensive, but do it in a better way. That is where I am coming from with this. Hope you understand!
Oh I completely understand, but I feel this works as is. Two chainsaw killers, one for offense, one for defense. A chainsaw killer for both playstyles
I feel like it would be more interesting to have a one chainsaw Killer that's offensive (Billy) and one that's stealthy (Leatherface).
Like I said, a 24 meter terror radius on Leatherface would be pretty big. Giving him some other ######### that allows him to slow the game down a little built in Mangled would help too.
Then let's ask the Devs to add a stealthy chainsaw guy rather then remake a defensive chainsaw guy who fills that role really well

There's also the chance that he was specifically designed with a powerful defense and a weak offense in mind.
I am fine with a character having a good defence game, but in my opinion it should NEVER sacrifice their offensive side for it
A character shouldn't have both, though. You have hillbilly for offense and leatherface for defense. From the sounds of it, you'd like LF's defense to be as obscurely powerful as it is now, while also having a strong offense. That's far too much. That being said, if you take from his defense to improve his offense, then you took away the one thing he excels at to make him.....average.
Im not trying to start a fight, I'm rather enjoying this conversation, but we're definitely at opposite sides of the debate here
Well, tbh Hag has both great offence and defence and she is fine, Nurse is a similar situation so I think LF would be absolutely fine with a great defence and offence because he would still lack mobility.
.
as for the nurse, she's in a class all her own, and in my opinion, has no bearing in this debate since her power is designed from the ground up to ignore the games many mechanics -
