They refuse to engage in the ultimate argument sadly :(

I got the popcorn ready 'n all but they just haven't had their anime battle yet, they only interacted with each other a few times unfortunately.

Damn. Here I was thinking I could get some quality entertainment for the night.

Don't worry my friend, I'm sure one day they'll finally engage in the ultimate dbd forum battle that will be remembered for years to come. Until that day though, I wait in eager anticipation.

I'm sorry to enlighten you but half of the killer perks are all wallhacks and prevents the other side from even doing the objective. Killers are so blatantly overpowered that a perfect genrush is the only way to possibly win, with comms I might add. Half of the killers have zero counterplay or not enough counterplay. If you don't see that, you don't play enough survivor.

Oh hell yeah, we got Sluzzy and Lord Tony in the same thread.

This is bouta be the showdown of the century.

Goddammit I was hoping this would be a tribute to everyone's favorite cannibal, but instead it's generic "I camped a DS user and everyone died!" thread #9122 :(

Can we turn this thread into an "everything we love about Bubba" thing?

Now just look at that smile.

  • Yes. Plain and simple.

  • She's certainly one of my least favorite killers to play as and against.

  • I no joke forget she exists half the time because she's so rarely played.

  • Hag: No one will miss her.

Ace: His perks all kinda suck.

  • I may not have a Discord, but I can still play dbd with you guys.

  • Mom can we have Sluzzy?

    We have Sluzzy at home.

    Sluzzy at home:

  • For Legion:

Useful: It is most strategic to use Feral Frenzy to injure as many survivors as you can. Try and use it when multiple of them are together.

Funny: Try and only use Feral Frenzy a few times during the trial. Otherwise, Legion may suffer an asthma attack.

  • Killer.

As Ash would say I'm an "Alone Wolf" most of the time, so I prefer to play killer instead of solo-que.

I also find killer to be the more skillful role.

  • "Welcome to the family, son." - Jack Baker

  • Don't worry bro, imma go find like the two Plague mains out there so they give you some advice.

  • Awwwww helllll yeah brother, another interview.

I LOVE playing legion, just going around and injuring the whole team within the first 30 seconds of a match is SO satisfying! His deep wound also makes him have a bit of gen slow down to! Very fun killer to play! Great choice xd

Yeah, their fast paced playstyle is why I main them.

  • As a Legion main, I kinda have to mention them.

So many people think they suck for some reason.

  • Killers are not faster. They are the exact same speed they've always been.

  • Fascinating. Fascinating indeed.

I agree, but using smoke wouldn't be its full power, if FH used his full power, it would tear his body apart, thus killing him. That is why their are straps of metal all over his body, its to symbolize the fact that anger can't fully be contained in a human body forever, keeping our anger pent up can actually harm us mentally, and it needs to be released. Thus FHs' anger can kill him

Oh I like that symbolism. That anger will eventually tear us apart.

  • Thank you!

Honestly though, if the word "Average" was a person, it'd probably be me.

  • Ah yes, time for my daily dose of TheClownIsKing rants.

Real talk, yeah it's dumb that Victor can be blinded.

Now that I think about it, I actually like the idea of adding claustrophobia, @QwQw , forget what i said earlier keep the smoke although maybe not have it to where its such a severe effects maybe.

Yeah if Bhvr Comes after my liscense I will raise Hell, its one thing to take inspiration off of someone elses works but its another to literally steal it from the said owner. I do agree I would like adjustments done to the game to fit the chapter, I want to make sure that FH or whoever I choose to be the killer is both fun, strong, yet balanced. As for cosmetics if they want to add them I'll allow legendary sets of certain character from the series to be added. I want a map that is likeable and just as scary as Midwich.

Yeah that's why I'm gonna change it, I think its better that I do, that plus I'll look at the tropes later when I have time

Alright then, I'll keep the smoke. Honestly it's such an awful way to die as @Beelzeboop said.

Now this could just be me, but I also think it's eerie how he uses smoke, because in symbolizes that Furnace Head isn't even bothering to use it's full strength. "Where there's smoke there's fire." Furnace Head can't be even be bothered to use actual fire to kill it's victims, but instead just uses the smoke spawned from it.

Sadly @QwQw doesn't ( sorry buddy don't mean to call you out, although let me know if that has changed). But yeah we should all hang out sometime maybe a weekend or something but... we do need a host

Nope, still don't have a Discord.

Maybe it's because I am just not a social person, but I never felt the need to have one. The few friends I do have I talk to through texting or Xbox Live.

  • This is pretty much the opposite for me. I'll play badly at the start of the game, then I'll get better and better as the match goes on.

Currently I'm just trying to that a slugging build to rank 1. Oh ######### though I never considered tinkerer. Though I do have to grind for it now :/

Since survivors are injured a lot against Legion, they become pretty scary when they're undetectable. Not to mention the added info is very nice.

  • As a Legion main, my build for them is Surge, Pop, Tinkerer, and BBQ. I always get a ton of value from all four perks.

  • Kate's pretty cute, not to mention she seems like a very bubbly and nice girl.

She could also teach me how to play the guitar.

Actually if you look at the X closely with the image of the Dead By Daylight X Resident Evil 25th, it's actually Mr.X that is coming to dead by daylight. like the similar 4th Anniversary for dead by daylight for silent hill that the fully represents pyramid head. Mr.X is actually the killer coming out.

We don't know that it's him though. Nothing is confirmed.

X's are just a common way to show that two things are crossing over. Not to mention I doubt Behavior would pull the same stunt two years in a row.

Honestly I'm wondering why we haven't received and Outlast Chapter yet, maybe because the fact the 2nd game is banned in Australia, but they might add it. I want Richard Trager, the Surgeon from outlast 1, he is one of the most memorable villains, and the only character I wish had more screen time. Eddie Gluskin would be hard given the fact he only goes for men not women, although now that I think about it, yeah I guess he could work. I do want the killers power to reflect the torture horror Outlast shows and brings

If they do make an Outlast chapter, I really hope they don't make it about the second game. The first one was a lot better in my opinion.

As for the killer, I hope it's either Gluskin or Trager. Trager was just so eerie to me.

"Oh shush you! You know to be honest, I just got tired of licking my own stamps."

That line has always stuck with me.

Gluskin was down right terrifying. Something about his motive is just so unsettling to me. Hell with the way he talks, you almost kinda like the guy at first before he completely loses it.

  • Now that we have RE, I want an Outlast chapter.

I might make a mori where Furnace Head sets the survivor on fire

    That'd be sick!

  • The game can't be imbalanced if both sides get removed from the game.

Problem solved. Now no one complains.

Oh an Oni tearing out someone tongue and beat the ######### out of them with a kenabo isn't ( don't worry I get it) I might have to think of another good one

I mean it might work, but just like Oni's, Hag's, and Clown's, mori it'd be skating on some real thin ice.

  • @Dabihwow said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2132067#Comment_2132067

Holy crap this isn't bad at all. Although his power could be changed, now that I think of it, his power could involve him unleashing his anger, for example, if after an amount of time and actions he becomes an unstoppable monster he can break through pallets and continue to go on a rampage,(similar to lopro chain billy and oni). Also, something about his ax is that, if anyone is cut by it while Furnace Head is using his magic or whatever, it leaves a massive scar and which also leaves a curse on the victim. The victim will struggle to cooperate and becomes agitated as rage grows within them. But I like the idea of smoke, but it feels a bit like Clown

Now Perks, these are very close to who Furnace Head is although he isn't usually silent. hands of Blood will be very hard one to use because well it relies on Survivors ability to do objectives which in some cases, won't happen.

Flaming rage, HOLY #########, that is a god-tier killer perk already, I love it, I love it. Hell that outclasses noed by a lot

and Corrupted Minds which I like the name is really good, I like it, plus it's close to the character, overall good job now, I have to ask you can you rate my more for Furnace Head.

Mori: Furnace Head Walks over to the Survivor the Survivor tries to make a run for it but Furnace strikes at their head with their ax splitting it into. However the ax is so wedged in that Furnace HEad lifts them up off the ground and continue to split the survivor into like he is smashing a wedge ax inside of a log, once finally split he lets out an animalistic roar and continues with the trial

Thank you! I'll probably go back and revise his power some more when I get to making the survivor.

Your mori for him is really good, but I feel if he was an actual character in the game the devs would have to give him a different mori because yours would be to gruesome.

It's the funniest thing in this game having bubba just sit in a corner staring at you while your team tries to bumrush in while he's revving his chainsaw, and they all die lol.

That's the power of Lord Bubba, the moment he spawns in the trial, he instantly lowers everyone's IQ by 50 points.

  • No counter? My guy, you've heard of running away from the basement right?

  • @Dabihwow. Alright, here's my finished concept for Furnace Head. Admittedly it's kind of rushed and not my best work, but I'm still curious to hear your thoughts on it.

What happens when a human releases all their stored rage, all their hatred? Furnace Head is the answer. A being crafted by the town of Pinebrook, it is the manifestation of anger, rage, hatred, distaste, and how we humans enact these feelings on others. It will mercilessly slaughter anything it sets its eyes on with a burning vengeance. With a motive such as that, it didn’t take long for The Entity to notice it…

    Base Movement Speed: 115%

    Terror Radius: 32 Meters

    Height: Tall

The Smelter's power is called: Passion Of The Flames.

    Special Ability: Choking Smoke

At any time during the trial, press the Power Button to unleash a cloud of otherworldly smoke that enraptures all of your current Terror Radius. Within the smoke:

    • Survivors will cough extremely loudly.
    • Survivors will have tremendously decreased vision.
    • Survivors will suffer from the Oblivious status effect.
    • Generators will automatically regress at a rate of 200% when not being actively repaired.
    • Windows will only take two rushed vaults to become blocked by The Entity.
    • Bloodlust is gained 20% faster.

The smoke will persist in the area for 30 seconds. Choking Smoke has a cooldown of 60 seconds.

    Special Attack: Heart Of Fire.

At any time, press the Secondary Power Button to lob a small fireball. The Smelter is slowed down to 105% while charging the fireball. Hitting a survivor with the fireball will injure them one health state. Heart Of Fire has a cooldown of 30 seconds. Heart Of Fire has no cooldown if it is used in the smoke spawned from Choking Smoke.

The Smelter comes with three teachable perks.

Hands Of Blood: Their work will be their downfall. Every time a survivor gains 1,000 bloodpoints in the objective category, you gain the Undetectable status effect for 20/25/30 seconds.

Flaming Rage: Your hatred for them is so strong that it manifests itself physically. Every time you hook a survivor, every breakable wall, generator, and dropped pallet within 20/22/24 meters of you will instantly break.

Corrupted Minds: The human mind is fragile, and a withering corruption is eating away at your preys. Whenever a survivor repairs a generator to 50%, the next time they touch a generator that is not the repaired generator, it will be blocked by The Entity for 30/35/40 seconds.

  • Yeah no problem.

Do you know who your gonna interview next? Or are you gonna make another thread and ask people if they'd like to be interview?

Ironically I was both writing this when @QwQw told me he was making a chapter concept, I wanna see what you make my friend, but here is the next page now this one is probably the hardest page I've ever posted. Not just because it was hard to write it, but it was something I was very uncomfortable writing. This page is cut thankfully, but once the book comes out you will get the un-cut version. So lets begin and also thank you to everyone who pushed me @GoobyNugget @Beelzeboop @ClamorVentus, and @glitchboi . So without further a do lets begin

The clicking of heels grew louder, echoing, until Elliot heard the sound of the door opening and closing. The thing called Julie stood in the middle of the classroom, but now she was carrying a rusty bonesaw in her right hand. "What do we have here"? she questioned as she curiously stepped closer to the crying geese, Julie then peered inside of the crib and cooed. " Aw poor things, did Aunt Rhody take your mommy you poor Rhodies." Julie cooed, she looked over to the chimp that continued to clap its cymbals. Something about it intrigued her, Elliot although couldn't make out her face it was clear she showed interest. She knocked it off the table and it landed to the floor broken, and it stopped its clapping of cymbals

She turned around and saw the clown, the creature nearly gasped at the site, but sighed as it advanced towards the clown. " Oh Dotso, one of your finest tricks I see, and I bet your celebrating someone's birthday, I wonder how mu-." Julie stopped mid sentence, something else caught her attention, the crying of the goslings almost silenced. She turned around quickly and she breathed frantically, Elliot felt the air getting warmer, his eyes widened. " Oh, oh no." He breathed, as if on que he heard the footsteps getting louder, Julie took notice and started to panic herself.

Julie instinctively spun her head around the area looking for a place to hide, she found a row of small cubbies that had little small doors. She dropped the bonesaw as it made a quitely clattered, and to Elliot shock the things whole body squeezed inside of the cubby as she closed the door behind her. " What the #########!" He whispered, suddenly a bang on the door as it swung wide open. The big ######### Furnace thing stood there in the dark and damp area. Its heavy breath was still unnerving as ever, Elliot saw that it wore old fashion galoshes that had chains wrapped around it like cuffs.

It stomped toward the cribs and peered inside, suddenly the baby cried again following the others. Elliot felt a chill in his spine, he held his breath, yet as he watched the monster it retracted. It clasped its metal, and with its fist banged its head rapidly around where the ears would be. With a low yet loud growl with its left fist it punched the Goslings, it cried loudly, which seemed to irritate the monster even more! With the its axe it lifted and chopped away, it began relentlessly chopped at the other crying 'Rhodies', their blood splattering against the walls, and small bits of them spreading through out the classroom. Chunks of wood laid crumpled to the floor as both the clown doll, and the chimp were nothing more then broken parts.

After it stopped, the Furnace thing heaved in and out, it was trying to catch its breaths as wooden pieces, bits of sharp metal laid on the floor broken and useless. The monster then heaved as it went for the exit, suddenly a moan was made audible, it came from the small, cubby. Apparently Julie 'enjoyed' watching the violence done to others. The Furnace thing stopped, and turned its body back around, Elliot could already guess what was about to happen. It stomped off to the cubby, it caught site of the bonesaw, it knelt down, opened the cubby and found Julie inside. " NO, no please!" She pleaded, but the Furnace Thing yanked her out and tossed her to the floor.

Julie struggled to recover, Elliot cringed up, even though she tried to kill him, he felt a little bit of pity for her. The Furnace Thing tilted its head, to Elliots' surprised it hasn't tried to kill Julie yet. It lifted its axe, he could see the landing blow coming, it was thrusted the axe to the ground , and it landed... by Julies' side. Elliot was puzzled yet fear stricken what was it doing? Unexpectedly the Furnace then grabbed Julies' legs, one in each hand. It lifted her up off the ground and then it ( Sorry you cannot see, as I've stated this is the cut version, and I am not willing to chance to get even remotely in trouble with the mods so we are gonna cut ahead here)

Julies' body laid limp, lifeless inside the vent, as a bloody white vomit mixture came spilling out of the tear, near the groin. Elliot held back tears, and tried not to cry for what he just saw, it brought him an absolute unease, the Furnace thing moaned as the bloody mess spilled all over its leather drape, it enjoyed what it did. It moaned all the way to pick up its axe, it lifted the heavy thing then departed the room. Elliots' heart ached in sorrow, and regret. What the monster did, the way it did it, how Julie was left, it brought a painful memory. Tears enveloped in Elliot's eyes as he sobbed. " Penny...I'm so sorry."

Just so you know I may never write something like this again, for a while I usually never write something this vulgar, ever.

    Jesus that was dark.

I actually made a Pinebrook chapter once. Furnace Heads' power was... ######### to be honest, but that was before I was able to flesh him out. TO start he had a perk called Hands of blood: When a survivor leaves a gen that had 50/60/70% of it completed they are afflicted with rites of pain any time they touch a generator that wasn't the previous one will call upon the entity to block that Generator.

That was just one another I had called Flames of Rage:When you lose someone in a chase, the next hit you do causes the broken and hemorrhage status effect.

And finally we have rites of pain: whenever a survivor fails a skill check the killers terror radius is reduced to 12/16/24 meters, and the aura of the one who failed said skill check is revealed to you and they suffer from the exposed status effect.

However I want to see what you had in mind so let these jsut be some ideas if you want and make your own perks I want to see what you have in mind for this killer

Alright then, I'll see what I can do.

  • If I get lucky, maybe something like The Patriarch (Jack Baker).

  • @Baby_Victor said:

This had more replies then I was expecting. I’ll have to dig through this later...and cherry pick the most interesting bits and do a lil RE research.

Maybe I’ll just try and watch some lore vids to better understand RE.

I did skim through some quotes on the first page from (Jack?). He sounded like a fun character.

oh, thanks for the replies. God I hope BHVR makes this chapter a banger.

Yeah, that was Jack alright. He's one hell of a character. He's very condescending and sarcastic as he hunts you down.

You can, but I want you to do what you want, plus you haven't read the outside area of Pinebrook yet now that the whole area has changed.

I think I'll hold of on making the survivor for now.

I could still work on Furnace Head in the meantime, even though we haven't really seen him all that much of him, I've already come up with some personal ideas of what his power could be.

1 … 47 48 49 50 51 … 89
