Can second this.
To OP, I just have to keep in mind that they have Fixated and adjust my phase exit times to compensate.
Yeah, I also got IW in the build so even if she did somehow hit me, I can just use IW and juke her then Inner Strength in a locker lol.

Playing both sides makes you a monster..when you play spirit you can gauge her position pretty well..unless she uses hair brooch..then it's harder but still doable
Yeah, people need to understand Spirit if they want to beat her. If you estimate the timing, you're completely fine against her.

Only hopeless if you lack the ability to strategize
Fun fact, I didn't even get hit in the game lol because everytime she phased, I was able to estimate how long she had left and ran at the last second. Maining Spirit certainly helps when trying to counter her.
-
Doesn't Freddy ignore Borrowed time though? Not that OoO isn't an issue against him, but shouldn't Borrowed also be fixed against him as a tradeoff?

Until you get injured, then you have no hope. Especially if it’s a stridor Spirit.
Yeah, that's why I got Inner Strength in the same build.
-
I'm an average survivor, decent killer.
-
I've been running an autodidact build... so Legion is now my favourite killer to face. Idec if healing in inefficient.
-
Honestly, it's fine. NOED is only a good perk because of the MS. The instadown doesn't mean jack tbh. But yeah, it's in a good spot, it punishes survivors for not cleaning totems and is easily avoided.
-
As survivor: Lithe, Spine chill, Resilience, and Iron Will makes for easy games.
As Spirit: STBFL, BBQ, Pop goes the weasel and A Nurses caling. They're my strongest builds on my strongest killers.
Although, I've been running Solidarity, Autodidact, Empathy and Iron will for a lot of fun. I've got value out of it in 2 games out of 7 so far.
-
I'd say Huntress' lore, Spirit's lore and Oni's lore really interested me.
-
Dead Dawg Saloon... That deserves one too. Sucks for both sides.

Imagine stacking that with both blood orb increase addons. You wouldn't be able to see the injured survivor because of all the blood orbs >.>
Honestly, as an Oni main who runs Sloppy (I don't have the meta build yet) I'd abuse the change, but I'd also hate facing it as a survivor.
-
DS currently has counterplay (slug, even if they do have unbreakable, you still essentially took one survivor out while they recovered even if it was only a bit of time), although yesterday I lunged at someone working on a gen, knowing she had DS and apparently I wanted to grab her. That lost me my 3 man and left me with a 2 man so thanks a ######### lot for that, devs.
But DS is in my unbiased opinion, just as strong, but more situational so it's overall weaker (if you get what I mean). The stun still loses killers their games, but DS also is way more situational and can be ignored nowadays. So in terms of impact when it hits, DS is as strong as ever, but overall, it's weaker.
-
Imagine if it did, it'd be so broken on him lol.

I can see why that would be frustrating, since they're not even trying to help, but I rarely come across anyone like that in game. I guess it's because I'm usually green-yellow ranks (made it to purple ONE time 😭)
And to be fair, I don't actually know who you're on about. I don't watch Tru3 either. I used to watch Monto and Noob3, but now I mainly watch Otz.
For the sake of you keeping your innocence, I won't tell you who I was referring to. It's good that the devs got rid of him though.
-
Dw I had a BS Oni game where I messed up so much at the start, that it led to me getting a 2k. And some bug robbed me off of the 3k... Not as bad as yours, but definitely hurt my pride.
-
- Oni (bit rusty atm, but I'll be back to normal soon)
- Spirit
- Hag
- Myers
- GF
- Freddy
- Doc
- Demo (very rusty at Demo atm)

Yeah.

It's also why i like it less, there's very little excitement.

Indeed, that's how I see it when I think of it objectively.
In the moment, though, anyone escaping feel like a failure in some way. They got the hatch? Well, it's because I goofed up. Somehow. 😅
Hey, we've all been there. 😂

@Bovinity said:
I think it is just you! Really, though, I like playing killer more but it's also always more stressful.
There's the feeling of being on a clock at all times. Of every second mattering so much.
And of course, knowing that it's just you, so every tiny failure is 100% yours. (Which is sort of a positive and negative)
Not to mention the nagging feeling that I should always win. When I play survivor and I get killed, it feels like no big deal. When I play killer and anyone gets out, I feel like a big failure. I know that doesn't make sense, but it still needles my brain for some reason. Probably related to the, "Every mistake is mine" feeling.
I used to hate when people escaped too when playing killer. I got over it when I started to consider 4 escapes a stomp (to me), 3 escapes a loss, 2 escapes a draw, 1 escape a win, and 0 escapes a stomp (to them).
-
Aww, that's great! I'll check out his streams at some point later.
-
Imagine chasing those and they look back at you lol. I'd laugh my ass off.
-
Fair enough. Hopefully we don't meet in game, unless I'm killer... :P
On a serious note, I can understand why, hopefully you change your mind about it though.
-
Yeah, in most cases, anyways. But there's some cases like the old Legion that were actually unfun.
-
I think the easiest solution is to buff Solo's to SWF level, so maybe a built in kindred, or I remember seeing someone else's comment about how your status shows what you're doing (i.e, repairing, getting chased, healing). I found that one interesting. And if the devs do take that route, buff killers to deal with the survivors.

Not sure about this one- I found I don't play like the others in the game, I play because it's fun and I'm a competitive person, so PvP gaming is right up my alley, and I'm an avid fan of horror.
Because I'm so competitive, I guess I don't think I'm entitled to the hatch? I just play how you're supposed to (no teabagging on my end either, at the end of a game I'll just leave, and as for clicky clicks I'm PISS POOR with flashlights, so I don't bring them or pick them up out of chests).
But the fact that some people think they are entitled to the hatch is mind-boggling, especially on a PvP game where the killer's main objective is to kill you.
Though I have to ask, why the Claudette hate? It baffles me that a simple avatar can invoke such hate.
Because of one man... You'll know him, he used to have massive influence over the community (similarly to Tru3 now, ironically) and he mained Claud.

This and Iri Head Huntress are ridiculous.

This is not true at all. I had an Oni game on the preschool where I killed 3 people with all 5 gens still up AND I closed the hatch and the guy runs right up to my face and jumps into the hatch and escapes anyways. I'm not saying mori's aren't bs I'm saying keys need a major nerf. Both are bs but they are apples and oranges, you can't compare the two.
Honestly, if both were butchered in the same patch, the community would be way happier.

It's an intentional feature by the devs. However, it's one of the stupidest features of a pvp game I ever saw in my life.
Why so? It makes her creepier, and it doesn't affect alert survivors most the time.

Well, but at least he isn't a mediocre killer!
But IMO he's pretty boring to play as and against if you're just using slowdown builds + snare spamming
I prefer to use Dream pallets tbh.

Thank you. Next time I get a Bubba I'll try these methods out.
They wont always work btw, good Bubbas will never rev up their saw until they are sure they'll get you, so don't overgreed it against him. But if you hug walls, you'll be fine.
-
- Ok, try to keep yourself in position with pallets and windows nearby, SB is the ideal exhaustion perk to escape deadzones.
- If you have any sort of loop, pallet or window, aside from the godly Z wall, we don't abuse that because it's too strong and unfair, then you should use it against Bubba.
- If he revs up his saw before you drop a pallet, try to loop it again, hug the walls really tight and his large hitbox wont allow him to catch up. Do the open gens at the start of the game. If your team wastes pallets like crazy, you're probably screwed.
- Do not drop pallets if he charges his saw early, otherwise he'll have a very easy time making deadzones.

Damn poweas! shame on you! :(
Hey, I play a lot of freddy, and trust me... he's borderline overpowered...
If you want my op freddy build use this:
BBQ + PGTW + THANA + DYING LIGHT
Addons: Slowdown addons
If you really want to slowdown the game use this one:
PGTW + THANA + DYING LIGHT + CORRUPT
Addons: Slowdown addons
I hope you dont get bored from 20m games lol
Trust me, he doesn't match up to the other killers I mentioned. :P
He's a great killer though, I love him. I play him from time to time.

This man really said "DS DIDN'T EXIST" whoahhh... You do know the reason behind the DS rework is it was completely broken and UNCOUNTERABLE thus everyone used it every match right? Insane I know it's been so long I nearly forgot about that myself.
What are you talking about? I'm talking about the enduring meta after the DS rework. Pre DS rework, it was everywhere, yes. Stop twisting it to spout out some bs that I never even said.

And that's good. Perk combos is what should make perks stronk (see Q&Q+Head On, Spirit Fury+Enduring as examples)
Are there exceptions to that? Like exhaustion perks and BBQ?

It might be an interesting way to shake up the meta. They should test it on the ptb and see how it goes
Yeah, I wonder what the new meta would be.

Have the bottom left icons also display:
- Chase status
- Being in the TR or not
- The specific action being preformed at the moment
To the other Survivors. And then have perk indicators on more perks.
Honestly, that makes sense.

Solo's would literally be trash. Also, top tier killers would become broken. It's balanced around 4 perks, leave it as it is.
-
To the OP, nice.

That, plus the survivors. They had 0 pressure on them and it was still 3 or 4 mins before they had 2 gens popped. That hurt me cause i want my games that easy 😭
Nah, I personally love the challenge.
-
To the OP, you're talking about dumb SWF's, smart ones wont be so altruistic and you won't be able to "exploit" it against them.
-
@Steel_Eyed said:
I think what you may be realizing is that SWFs are still really bad at the game.
Also, I kind of want to argue that Nurse is not a high tier killer. Just potentially. On paper. Really strong. But her ease of use and lack of consistency makes me think Spirit and Freddy are the top of the tiers. I love Oni too. And Nurse. ButI rarely feel out of control as Spirit.
Freddy sucks compared to Spirit, Nurse, Oni, Hag and Billy. He's at Doc's level, where he's a good killer, but certainly not top tier imo.
Anyways, Nurse is still amazing if you figure out her mechanics and which spots are bugged. I'd be willing to bet that she'd be way more played if she wasn't littered with an obscene amount of bugs.
-
Losing one game out of 6 as a new player? Are you ranked with high rank survivors or something? I used to be with fellow rank 20's and die every single game, you're lucky.
On your killer side of things, yes, the matchmaking is messed up, you'll face those survivors a LOT. It will be really tough for you to play killer and enjoy a match. I'd wait on their new matchmaking to come out, unless you still want to play killer, then you'll have to prepare for these teams.
-
Syringe and BNP? They're not even OP anymore lol.
-
Iri head, Mori and Iron Maiden Huntress. Can't hide, can't loop (well at least not for long).
-

For me it’s simple. They t-bag, twirl and taunt on the other side of the pallet. When I break it, they hit a wall or tree and go down hard and fast!
So satisfying when they can’t back up the taunt with action! (Sometimes it’s not even a tree, they just bad!)
Yep, this one is amazing.

Feel like Oni is very Feast or Famine. If you can get rolling by getting your power quickly and doing significant dmg to multiple targets, you'll find that there will be plenty of blood laying around for the 2nd use of your power. If you're only able to get like 1 down per power use though...you'll be starved for blood.
Yeah, you can play him so you constantly have your power if you apply pressure. It's really strong.
