The bugs confuse me now lol, I can't predict it as survivor it's really weird.

main reason why I always burn one of the 3 original realms (autohaven, coldwind, mcmillian) is for this reason. The devs make amazing maps but bad design when it comes to balance
I never usually use map offerings but I might now.

You probably just can't play it yet. Coming from someone who's been playing since PTB, it's a fine map and pretty even if not a tiny bit killer sided
Literally everyone I've talked to also think it's #########.

I personally think it's the worst map currently (gameplay-wise), you think the same? I hate it
It's joint with Dead Dawg Saloon. The devs are not on it now. They're making boring maps that force you to genrush and make it hard for killers to pressure gens by putting them in odd places, while also making looping non existent on them.
-
No, I need them badly now, this new map is in almost every single one of my games and it's getting too repetitive. Running in a straight line/being unable to pressure gens properly is boring.

I have been doing pretty well with him. Some of my favorite killer streamers have also been slaying with him, and are calling him overpowered. There's tons of spots at loops where it's hard to dodge the attack or the survivor is forced to vault; which is almost a guaranteed hit if you predict it.
He's a beautiful counter for shack, since they can't get to the pallet or window, and if they try to spin, you can let go and M1 them.
-
@yandere777 said:
How strong is it really? Its like a 5-10 second time save
In a game like DBD, those seconds count.
-
I think it's pretty horrible. You essentially just run in a straight line circling the building and any M1 killer just has to waddle after you. There's a few pallets from what I've seen, 2 (I think?) are god pallets which kinda sucks. And the rest of the pallets are OK?. They're slightly safer than the Dead Dawg Saloon pallets, and I guess they're balanced? But I'll wait until I make an opinion on it properly. The windows are decent though.
Gens are spread out fine. Totems I literally can't find but I'll figure the spots out. My only issue is honestly the general design. The most effective strat in chase is run in circles and when they're close, use up a god pallet and repeat. Ez to force killers to leave you.
Overall, it's not as bad as Dead Dawg Saloon, but it's still a badly designed map. Then again, with Coronavirus being everywhere, I can allow the devs on this one.
-
Considering how there's a little pallets, I think it's a fair tradeoff. I do think the map could use a little rework though, holding W isn't fun at all, nor is chasing survivors who abuse it for distance.
-
It's good on some killers tbh. Yesterday I did some godlike plays using it as Demo. Billy and Oni are excellent with Shadowborn, so is Nurse.

I like Doctor’s chase music from his perspective. Me and @Cornpopers_Evan always make fun of it though and say it sounds like a train coming after you. “Oh no, here comes Mr. Choo Choo”.
The only chase theme I DON’T like from the killer’s perspective is Demo’s. It’s too repetitive. They could’ve made the next verse in the track play from his perspective.
Yeah, Demo's one is a little buggy after a while...

Definitely not the same person because they played the whole game just didn't do well and put themselves in a corner after last gen. No idea the point in staying in a corner whole game and doing nothing.
Oh. Poor guy, GF isn't easy to pick up to be fair.
-
I think the Torment wires looks horrible. I hope they remake the looks of it some day.
-
Yeah, make a decision in about a month after you've played/seen enough of him. I think he's got the potential to be amazing in the right hands, similarly to Oni or Nurse.

tbh myers should progressively get out of t1 by just being in proximity to a survivor. would similtaneously help getting out of t1, and act as sort of an early warning system that survivors are nearby if you notice passive stalk increases (which could be renamed and modeled as purely evil within power rather then stalk)
Could also add this as a system in t2. more survivors in close proximity, faster he gains stalk off of players/gains it very slowly passively akin to oni
personally i'd rather see survivors slowly regenerate stalk over time (As oni and ghostfaces insta downs are limitless potentially) have him be able to activate evil within (ie t3) and for t3 to turn him into a brutal monster increasing all breaks by 20%-50%, stun recovery by 20%, speed by 3% and vaulting by whatever it is currently. in turn possibly make it shorter, or harder to obtain to balance out its ease of use and passive stalk increases.
He should absolutely be terrifying in t3, faster, stronger and more resilent then any other killer. not uncounterable or unbeatable. but a pure unit of brute force similar to if you just pallet slammed everything as oni. Oni in wrath can instantly break pallets. myers should be able to do something similar, with increased vault speeds (as he doesn't have the same kind of map pressure and making him walk at 300% speed is kinda redonuklus)
Yeah. honestly. I'd love it if stalking passively regenerates, it'd make him more viable as a snowball killer, which is his role, but he sucks at it compared to Oni or Hag (Hag is a rlly good snowballing killer). I can see your ideas working honestly. He should feel like a juggernaut in Tier 3, not a B tech Ghostface.

One change I've heard suggested that I really like: Myers manually activates his Evil Within Level-Ups similar to Oni manually activating Maximum Ogredrive. That way, you don't have to go through the trouble of 99'ing Myers and risk those weird hiccups where you reach EW3 but then it randomly rolls back to EW2 99%.
Ooh, that'd make him a threat, and certainly stronger, but it wouldn't change his core issues, which is that he's hardly rewarded for escaping EW1 considering how hard it is against survivors with a brain.
-
@MusicNerd_TC said:
They should just rework Myers to be honest. His power has aged terribly, with ghostface and other stealth killers being miles better than him. He was amazing 2 years ago, but now he is outdated.
Yes, he was amazing back then, but now he's just outdated. The other outdated killers got huge buffs. i.e, Hag, Wraith and Trapper (I consider Trapper pretty decent atm).
Myers could use similar buffs. I'd personally remove his stain in EW2 to give him some utility in that, considering that he spends a large chunk of the whole game in it anyway.

It was changed on the PTB. It never hit live that you need to fill the complete meter for consecutive EW3s.
Thanks, I'm very forgetful. I thought it was a hotfix lol.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
It was changed because it was originally a bug. I am pretty sure that they only found out that it is bugged because of Otz Add On-Video. Because, nobody would report this as a Bug.
Now the Bug became a Feature and the Description was adjusted.
It was in one of his addons' description before, I can't remember which one though. Someone posted it. I'll try to find it.

@BBQnDemogorgon said:
I dont see how this changes anything. They're just changing the text to represent what currently happens.
They changed it in some hotfix I think so it increased the required amount of stalking every time you wanted to use EW3. I think though.
-
I'm pretty sure I faced this guy recently, or at least someone who had a similar experience. I depipped because he didn't move all game LOL, because clearly I didn't play properly, not the killer, but me.
-
Doctor's one sounds really cool, and it somehow motivates me to do better in the chase? It has an odd effect on me.
Oni's one is really awesome and the sound of it is really cool to me.
I'd say Doc takes it though, that's definitely my favourite chase music.
-
I do sometimes do a specific build, like an autodidact build, but I do make sure to inform my team beforehand.
-
I used to run Bond for this lol back when I used to be a toxic ######### and run the killers all game (years ago though). The results were hilarious. They just hide in corners and Urban Evasion around the side of the map. I still catch people doing it (no bond anymore), it's hilarious. I get some games where I literally do 2 gens alone.
Although nowadays, if I have a promising team, I usually do the totems instantly so I don't have to worry about NOED and I can get my Inner Strength too. I usually save the last totem in an open spot so I can get another activation. Then I pressure gens like crazy.

The same persons also consider flashlight saves and head on toxic.
To be fair i meet way more toxic survivors than toxic killers.
I don't meet much toxic players anymore, but I do meet the occasional toxic survivor, so I gotta agree with you on that.

I got a new PC in January, but I hadn’t played on PC for about 10 years before that so I’m rusty as heck. D: Just gotta keep practising I guess. I don’t mind losing matches but it feels frustrating to lose because I keep pressing the wrong button, lmao.
You'll get used to it eventually. I've found controller is much better for survivor (because of the easy 360's) but MaK is better for killer (because it's a lot more comfortable to counter 360's and mindgame). But, MaK is good for survivor in the sense that you can hug walls really well. And anyways, after about 1 year of MaK, I'm quite good at 360's now lol.
-
Yeah, it gets way easier after a while though, don't worry. Also, it took me about 4 days but I used to play on PC quite often anyway.
-
A lot of perks have dumb restrictions. Blood Echo is somewhat understandable, because of the powerful effect, but Surge makes no sense imo.

@NuclearBurrito said:

It does tho. In both cases.
If you heal with someone else then you get 50% of the perks progress. So if you double heal 2 Survivors you get the perk.
And if a Survivor self cares for 2 seconds and you heal them the rest of the way, you only need to heal some other Survivor for 1 second to get the perk.
What drugs am I sniffing then? Thanks for telling me.
-
It's bad, don't worry about it. If only the healing % stacked with past heals, that way if you did 50% on 2 survivors, you get your perk. It should also work when healing with others (I don't think it works when you do a double heal).
-
You should post this in general discussions if you want feedback. Also it's an interesting idea imo.

You’re probably right I’ll try to think of better ones.
Don't worry about it, at least you shared them.
-
I don't even care tbh. I don't pay attention to it as killer, and not as survivor either.
-
Hm, Slip free seems pointless, we already got Break out.
Gen confusion is to counter Freddy? It'd not be used since it's too situational.
If Shockless physically stuns the Doc, then that's situational but also OP when it works. If it disables Shock therapy for 10 seconds then it's an interesting idea, but way too situational.

Ive used it with surveillance but id much rather take pop or corrupt intervention. It only works if you can push them off the gens. Certain killers are better at that than others.
Well, I do main most the fast killers tbf.
-
As killer, your chases feel way shorter than they actually are. Your "15 seconds" in reality is probably a minute. It took me a while to get that around my head.

The only weakness to lithe is the game map in my opinion.
I've been able to activate it pretty easily on that map. If you path it correctly, it's still very easy to activate.

Agreed, lithe is such an underrated perk and should be used more than DH.
Lithe gives crazy distance and after the vaulting fix, you're unlikely to get dedicated which makes it even better.
-
DH, it's pretty bad compared to SB or Lithe.

I can't tell if your being sarcastic. Encase your serious, ruin now is only good if your a speedy killer that can constantly chase people off the gens. Compared to what it was it does nothing to slow gens down now.
Ruin is amazing for me at least. It's a very good perk. If you think it's bad, you should try using it and you'll feel a huge difference.
-
@EvilJoshy said:
The perk was alright for new players dealing with old ruin. Before they learned how to hit great skill checks. Now that ruin is garbage, technician lost some of it's value.
Ruin is amazing now lol.

Just rework the swamp hatch spawns to be more closer to the middle.

@Orion said:
Make Blindness actual blindness instead of hiding auras. Have the survivors' FoV restricted by dark areas so they can only see a portion of their screen (exact percentage may need to be adjusted).
That would be disgusting on GF XD. I'd be down to test it in a PTB, but doubt it'd go through.
-
@Clevite said:
Unremovable DH, c'mon dude, you can't be serious.
That on Spirit or Nurse is BROKEN.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Fixated/SB/Iron Will can cause Spirits to abandon you entirely. That build is used in competitive play for a reason. It's very, very good.
Yeah, It's probably my new main build. Not only does it counter Spirit, but it does wonders against Billy or Oni, y'know, the killers that can very easily zone you.
-
@Demogordon_Ramsay said:
And it's still a trash tier Perk in dire need of buffing.
Yeah, it only works in a build based around it. I do think it needs the UE treatment, where it also works when injured.

Exactly. Both should not be possible. But they just HAD to give him the Oblivious Status Effect...
I don't get the devs' logic sometimes lol.
