Sometimes if I feel bad for a killer, I will let them hit me. And if they've tunneled me all game and not even managed to touch me once, I'll let them hook me.

Thats what they told me too. If the survivor knows how to loop, you have to switch target and look for the noob.
Once you hit a game where several survivors know how to loop, its time to derank
Thats why im never rank one, on xbox players learn how to vault loop and pallet loop easily, I main huntress btw so you understand
I remember the good old days back on xbox lol. The survivors I faced as killer were potatoes and the killers I faced as survivor were on a whole new league compared to the PC rank 12's (the xbox killers were rank 20 btw) and don't get me started when I played r1 survivor, I got my ass ripped apart. And rank 1 killer was also facing potatoes.

It's great for mindgames, both as killer and survivor. As a killer I can trick survivors into thinking I went one way, when I'm simply waiting for them on the other side xD.For survivor, I like to use these Windows to break LOS. I sometimes will have to loop it a little bit every now and then, but I primarily use it as a means to break LOS
I don't know... I pretty much main survivor and have found if i position myself correctly i can always make it safely to a window at these loops.
So that's your counter. Most of the survivors who will loop it will most likely think in a similar way to you when you loop it. Always try to force them into the middle of the loop and mindgame. If you give them the outside they wont get caught and you will get demolished. Also sometimes they wont expect u to vault it which is why Myers is the third most effective killer at countering it (after Nurse and Hag) his faster vaulting in tier 2 and 3 really throws the survivors off which is why he can mindgame it well. Just force them into the inside. Now that was just the T and L walls. For the other window loops I'd honestly just use Nurse or Hag since they're the 2 strongest and will counter it effortlessly. Spirit can counter it too and guess what? She's third strongest (imo obviously I think Billy has really dropped ever since Hag got buffed). Wraith can also counter the long ones. As long as u dont use Huntress, you'll be safe to mindgame them, with Huntress you'll get looped like mad. Seriously it's why I consider Wraith to be better than her she's so easy to loop.

Wraith is actually good compared to Pig, Doctor and Trapper.

I mean if you are using noed you DON'T have any skill.
same with ds
same with nurse
these are things bad players need to win games for them.I agree when it comes to Nurse, she's pretty simple to play and ridiculously powerful its why I main her ^^. But she still takes some skill you can't say she's super easy to pick up for EVERYONE. Most players can't even blink through a rock for gods sake. Noed and DS take no skill tho.

Took them 15 minutes to begin trying to work a gen, only for me to catch them and down them both. Get them on hooks, game ends, get a message telling me I sucked at the game and needed to learn not to camp.
Like, what was I supposed to do? Stay AWAY from the gens? Also they said Spirit was for no skill kitties.
I love how the Spirit was named a "trash tier killer" by a lot of people after release, but now she's "OP no skill killer"
99% of spirits are garbage. These are people who are weak in chases, barely use her power unless forced to after eating so many pallets, get a lucky hit in since you can hit survivors through palletd now, then use het ability constantly just to camp the hook.walk away - phase walk back, walk away - phase walk back, walk away, phase walk back.
I'm not surprised so many people hate her. I hate going against her because its just a camp/tunnel fest. Like when you go against Trapper.
I hate facing Spirit but not cause she tunnels me in fact they rarely tunnel me actually its a nice change from the usual but because she's scary as hell, she's powerful and if they're skilled with her shes stronger than Billy and demolishes a team.

Rn Spirit is third after Hag and Nurse. She takes a lot of skill and if you put that no phasing sound on her, she's easily the best killer by a longshot. When it comes to base, It's Nurse, Hag, Billy then Spirit. But shes still top tier. I wish I could be bothered to earn her but I'm too lazy and I always see nice perks in the shrine lol.
-
Sounds cool. Wish I had a killer like that lol. I get tunneled.
-
The reason why Freddy is getting a rework is that his power rn can only go 2 ways, He'll be better than Nurse like he used to be or he'll be trash. Hopefully with the rework they'll make him good and fun to play with/against. Since when he got released I was new (only played for a few months) and oblivious to the fact that there was a community but he felt ridiculous with everything he had in his base.

I've always wondered why I never get blinded as hag actually. It's probably a bug. Also blinding at a pallet isn't toxic to me even tho I play hag and Nurse. Imo it's you just trying to surviveTrue thats not toxic, just like tunneling and camping arent toxic.
However clicking the flashlight is toxic
Camping depends on the situation tunneling is debatable imo it also depends on the situation if ur tunneling with 5-3 gens left its toxic if you're tunnelng with 1-2 I can understand that. And clicking the flashlight is toxic as hell
Tunneling and camping are both strategies and neither of them is BM. BM is when you hit a survivor on hook or you mori cancel someone, stuff like this.
In fact, tunneling is just the killer using his brain because clearly it woudl be dumb not to tunnel, but I know that survivors prefer killers that let them escape
I know there has been various threads where we have disagreed on this, and i fully respect your opinion on it (i think i've argued with you a few times on this though). I do think like you said killers are actually being clever to camp and tunnel as it's such a powerful strategy, but my problem is i don't believe it should be as powerful as it is, considering how little skill it takes to do. I've always believe that though the devs intended it, it should be slightly nerfed, to encourage more high skill plays. Obviously a nerf would have to be very well thought out (things like it not working when survivors are nearby or the gates are open) and i believe the first time the devs did this, it was very poorly executed. I don't exactly think camping and tunneling are toxic, i more think they are stupidly powerful yet low skill strats that need to be nerfed
Camping is straight up a bad strategy. I dont understand why survivors always throw themselves at the killer, its as if they were childs that dont learn that you shouldnt touch hot things.
Camping doesnt take any skill to do yeah, but it relies on unskilled survivors too, its basically a strategy for "pleb games".Tunneling is just how you chase your target, it has nothign to do with skill because you still have to catch it.
Tunneling only is a thing becuase it is common sense to do it. No killer (usually) wants to ruin a survivors game, but its jsut the only way how to play the game against more competent survivors.
Ofc there could be changes possible, for example incentive to get fresh hooks, but survivors always prevented this because they consider this as killer buffs.I'm sure there as many intelligent survivor players who could see the benefits of incentives for fresh hooks as there are narrow minded ones that couldn't see the benefits, so im sure it wouldn't be that bad, hence why i haven't yet given up hope and i still argue for a camping and tunnelling fix, despite the abuse i receive from killer mains for it. The irony is i actually play more killer than survivor, but the whole reason i don't play survivor is that you get so severely punished for being good. If you last a while in a chase, you get camped and pretty much sit on the hook until your dead (even borrowed time can't counter camping+tunneling) Im not saying i want to escape every game, im saying if there was a fix that buffed higher skill play styles and nerfed lower skill ones, then the game would be more fun for everyone, as killers wouldn't have to sit at a hook, and survivors could get hooked more than once before they die, but they'd still die just as often.
Finally someone who gets similar games to me.

It's a scummy way to win and that's coming from a guy who plays Nurse... I agree with Louis they need to be nerfed but the killer mains cried when the devs suggested a built in kindred. Survivor mains would cry if it was given an unwanted buff. We got borrowed time I'd honestly leave it as it is since both sides will just cry if they touch anything .-.
So how about giving incentive not to tunnel?
Camping already is a really bad strategy, and now is even punished by the emblem systme. I think its fine as it isThe problem is thanks to that safe unhook thing, they have an incentive TO tunnel. It's also a way for survivors to farm with borrowed. It needs fixing.

Honestly the hatch is the equivalent of NOED for survivors, I don't care what anyone says. If the theory behind a killer using NOED is, "NOED rewards bad killers", doesn't hatch do the exact same thing for survivors?Even though I believe NOED isn't as OP DS, this game would be so much better if they'd just remove DS, the hatch and NOED all together.
If it gets to a hatch game tho its probably a Nurse stomping good survivors.

Some of us don't care about the points anymore.
It's not enough to put up with survivors disrespecting the killer, going as far as to hold the game hostage until you chase them out while the survivors know they're safe.Or the bastard survivors that stealth around looking for the hatch afterwards.
Most survivors won't hang around to get hit, either.
I hate those who want the hatch it's super annoying and wastes my time lol

I've dabbled in Nurse before, but now I'm jumping in to really learn her. I'm either playing no add-ons or the Plaid Flannel (but I feel like it's wrong, I don't seem to teleport to where it shows me). Is there a trick to aiming? Should I always aim up if I want max range?I run a bunch of perks. Shadowborn seems to be a must on her, it helps so much with the blinks, but my problem is the perk gives you a fish eye view. I feel like I can never hit lethal blinks despite being able to track/find survivors better.
Right now I can hit like 50% of the time on blinks but I don't quite get where the aim is going. Tips?
Honestly if you're rank 15-20 I'd just throw a game trying to blink to some places that's what I done on xbox and it prepared me to dominate as nurse on PC. Once you get a rough idea of where your blinks go and you predict the survivors accurately, she's so satisfying

It's kinda like respecting pallets against good survivors it really lets them loop u more. As a teammate who likes to do gens, if you get slugged can you do me a favour.
Dont get all 3 of yourselves downed and make me have to carry you guys it sucks honestly.
Please use unbreakable and tenacity.
Also always crawl to a pallet or window so you can make the killer vault 6 times. Unless they're smart and face the opposite way from the window.
It's just common teamwork since you guys dont do gens and try to be toxic and it'd make like much easier.

If they respect the pallets like a trash player (seriously respecting pallets can seriously hurt u) when u expect them to respect it next, u can actually fit one more loop and if they dont learn u can turn a 2-3 loop pallet into a 6-7 before they realise lol.
I know how looping works, but I have difficulties not running into objects, when I try to keep an eyes on the killer… that's a complete me-issue.
But I like the next survivor mem "don't respect the pallet" this is basically "feed me points for stunning you" so that looping is even more profitable for survivor.
By now the Devs should have realized that 1000 points is waaaaay to much as a reward, but they do not dare touching it.Tbh stunning takes no skill should be 400 imo. But seriously respecting pallets against a survivor with a brain punishes the ######### out of you. Once you face one of those survivors you'll see what I mean by it hurts you a lot.

Maybe you need to switch out some of your dear meta perks for something like Bond or Empathy, but that's it.I run SC, Botany, Lithe and Iron will. Only two perks are meta which are Self care and Iron will. Killer mains like you who dont try to understand both sides are just biased. You're just as bad as those entitled survivor mains. Most people who play both sides (MOST) can agree that solo survivor is hard and SWF is easy. They need to either show the killers who's in a SWF to prepare, or buff solo survivors and give them swf power while ALSO buffing killers to Nurse level or they need to fix the crutch perks. Solo survivor isn't easy because you need to be able to predict the killer (all survivors try to do that) but also the actions of your teammates and you need to know where you can find them, what gens they're on, whether they're all bad at chases or if they're solid like you, how stealthy they are and if the team is trash. Now that takes skill to learn all of that in about the first 2 minutes and try to adapt your style to suit your team. As solo survivor, the only time I've seen a survivor who's solid at stealth and chasing is back in xbox rank 20 when there was a pallet teleporting glitch and there was double exhaustion. (At xbox most the good players stay at rank 20 to bully the fresh meat which leaves less solid killers at high ranks) anyways, just learn survivor and then come back.
lol Nice try sweetie.^^
I play my fair share of survivor and I mostly play solo.^^
So I know what I am talking about.Ofc solo is more difficult than SWF, because of voice com. But it is not that big of a gap as survivor like to make it seem.
Btw... Lithe is basically also meta, because everyone has to run an exhaustion perk, right? So 3/4 of your perks are meta and you only run Bot Kno to make up for the healing nerf, so the Devs at least influenced the meta a little. It's always funny to hear people talk about "learn survivor". I am a mediocre survivor, but I can play the game as intended by avoiding the killer, because I suck at looping.^^
As long as the rest of my team doesn't mess around, I am surviving a lot.
I mostly die, because of teammates playing overly altruistic or ragequit.Honestly, with looping all you gotta do is stay close to the loop without touching to not lose distance on the killer and drop the pallet when the killer is close, love ^^. Huntress is a joke to loops lol. I can loop one 5 times if they run out of hatchets and it's even longer if they try to hit me lol. Slower killers are really easy to loop.

Survivor- Damn you. When being chased by the killer for a total of 180 seconds in total, you summon up your courage and throw a rock to stun the killer for 3/4/5 seconds. (Designed to stop tunneling and 180 seconds of chases are literally tunneling or ur just really toxic. Enduring can reduce the stun).
Killer- Experience. You're very experienced at predicting survivors. You are able to see the auras of survivors that are standing within a pallet mapwide. (Designed to help killers mindgame pallets more. Probably to OP but so is the first one) -

I have been playing since August, and yeah I have played with farmers and squealers and swf who literally leave you hanging, but yesterday I never had a match where a survivor was that big of an a hole.It was a bald Dwight (of course - have yet to see a bald Dwight who wasn’t out to screw someone) and he literally would do everything he could to expose my location. If I was working on a gen, he would deliberately fail skill checks. If he was being chased, he would run directly at me and follow me. If I got into a locker, he would keep opening it. And he would constantly teabag me, especially if the Doctor downed me.
Luckily, I think the Doctor was being merciful with me because I was the only one letting him get event hooks and he let me go while he facecamped the Dwight at the end.
After that experience, anti mates out to get you are so much more unfun to deal with than sweaty or sluggy killers.
Dont judge all bald Dwights like that, some of us are really nice.

I despise green ranks. It's the rank where most survivors think 2 things.
1. "I'm the best at this game w a t c h t h i s" messes up and ends up getting you killed
2. "I can't rescue the guy on the hook I need to focus on escaping and ranking up"
And no one ends up going for you when you're on the hook. A meg literally ran upstairs next to me on the hook just to do the generator a few days ago. Ahhhh, green ranks..I call Megs gen whores because they only do gens and let u die. Some megs aren't that bad tho but most are.

You call Noed balanced?
Yea, perfectly valid killer main feedback ^^ -
By Asylum and any I mean both maps

Âsylum, Any. Amazing for running the killer around and it's just a nice design in general. Plenty of openings for Lithe too.

Survivor have the control about Noed. Cleanse the totems and you can shut down Noed before it even triggers and you call that overpowered??
This is laughable.Always hear this. Killers keep crying for survivors to have extra objectives, but then always tell them how easily NOED is countered. So survivors already have an extra objective it seems.
Plus it's hard solo. You have to run around the map and check for 5 hidden totems to confirm they're all gone. Piece of cake in a 4 man SWF but consumes far too much time in a tense solo game. Now imagine if every survivor is thinking the same thing, that's 4 survivors running around the map trying to count 5 totems to see how many have been broken. It's not reasonable.
What?? Killer "cry for extra objectives"? That's what SURVIVOR want all the time.
Killer just want an end to gen rush. That's not the same, buddy.Totems are already an optional secondary objective. That's what survivor wanted all the time, but they still keep ignoring them until they get faced by an effect from it... and even than they rather go to the forum complaining instead of destroying dull totem.
And even solo this is ez af. Everybody just enter the game with the following rule in mind "everyone do at least ONE (dull) totem!"
Chances are pretty high that at least one person is doing 2 or that some Hex like Ruin was up anyway. It's becoming the next meme how survivor hide behind the "but solo is so hard" argument.
Just follow some simple rules and you are good to go.
Maybe you need to switch out some of your dear meta perks for something like Bond or Empathy, but that's it.Oh but I totally agree with running Bond, I used to run it when I was trash and toxic and I used to be much more stealthy and when I got caught I led the killer to my teammates lol. Now I'm not toxic or trash but I might run bond to see if my teammates are doing gens and to group up ty for that suggestion. How's this for a build, Bond, Lithe, Iron will and Calm spirit. So I can get healed by others to save time ^^

DBD Facts:SWF is not balanced for this game. I would like to hear a developer explain that it is.
The rest of the mechanics/perks/add-ons simply come down to competitive play.
I don't play survivor often but when I do, I don't see nearly as much name calling , death threatening and cursing coming from the killer side.
It always comes from survivors that got killed (or a swf of one that got killed)....be it one or four k.
If there is a 4k, I can count on name calling and post chat harassment and I would bet none of those folks would dare say those things to my (or anyone's) face irl
The killers are just as bad as the survivors. Every game I'm getting tunneled and I'm legit stuck at rank 11 because I can't have a fair game. I survive sometimes but it still pisses me off. Killers are just as toxic as survivors when they get outplayed and you're obviously a killer main acting like you play survivor. As killer, if I get outplayed a few times I'm not going to facecamp and tunnel them. Face is the killers are just as toxic as survivors to solo survivors more often than the SWF groups. That's why I like truetalent, he ain't toxic at all and he's a respectable killer. I wish killers and survivors acted more like him but there's people like Ochido who are just making people worse. Then there's players like you on both sides who constantly lie about playing both sides and say that there's no toxic survivors. Learn to loop effectively and you'll see what killers can be like. Some killers are nice though I'll admit I've faced a few Bubbas of all killers who get demolished by me but wont bother camping me because they want survivors to have good experiences and more fun. So go actually learn survivor and you'll see. I learnt killer (nurse and hag the two strongest) and now I've started to understand what the killers faced. Now without the double SB and the Pallet teleporting glitch thing, and heck even that cursed window change I can see no nerfs needed to survivors even the healing nerfs were enough. We just need the killers who aren't Nurse, Hag, Spirit or Billy to get buffed to a good level.
Sorry about the long paragraph, to sum it up, both sides are toxic. ^^
To balance SWF, I'd let the killers see if people are in a SWF so they can prepare thats just it.
Wouldn't that just make lobby dodging even worse? Not saying it's a bad idea but I can see that being a result.
Use Nurse or Hag? People can surely play Nurse or Hag by now or they could get moris or tryhard addons?
-
Yeah its the strongest exhaustion perk if you rarely mess up. But getting to that level is hard. But still strongest imo
