Other than playing the killers yourself or watching streams, I'd say the safest routes against the Trapper are the ones with no pallets, windows, or gens around. When I'm running, I always pick paths in between the grass patches and stay near walls and other such edge collisions. The trap is most likely to be placed in the middle of a path and your hit box is smaller than his. If the circumstances are just right, you can skim right by one and have him walk into it.
Also keep in my mind that debris and door jams are nice hiding spots for traps, they tend to blend in better even if they seem obvious when you're staring at them. This included broken pallets btw, they fit amazingly well.
This is less important in a chase, but chests with grass in front of them are easy targets. There was one game where I trapped and killed all four survivors on the Red Woods due to trapping a specific chest.
The last and best advice I can give you is to scout ahead. The Trapper has between 6 and 9 traps available to him through out the match and if you know where these are, you will be able to avoid them easily. If you're in a chase and desperate to use a pallet, give it a good look and be sure that it's a safe one. If you see a trap in it, try to fake him out in the last moment.

Wow thanks that's actually really good advice.

That doesn't sound like a hit box issue at all, it sounds like a laggy game. I'd just be more careful in lobbies looking at the ping indicator.

It was on green ping. I always check for 30 seconds I'm picky ok? He didnt lagswitch because the rest of my gameplay was normal. He was cool about it and told me to ask the forums.

Entitled survivor main, I dont think Mike needs a nerf at all. Honestly if you're good at running killers in general, you can defeat Mike easily. Just genrush u potato. Plain stupid to play against is Hag, Spirit and Nurse and they dont even need nerfs because they take skill. Mike needs buffs to have a viable base like they do cause he takes skill and isn't rewarded (he takes skill cause he's a tactical killer). (Billy has a viable base too but everyone can loop him it's easy). Just learn to counter him. You think survivors dont have a chance against him just because YOU don't have a chance against him. Don't come crying for nerfs just because he can defeat you easily. You're obviously not an experienced player.

    1.i over exaggerate my titles
    2.yes i am a potato
3.i play killer and survivor equally
4.i do gen rush, im a dwight main
    5. why are you so hostile
    6. sorry for not being a rank 1, P3 meg main

Lol I was just mad seeing someone wanting a weaker killer nerfed. It also doesn't help that Mike and Wraith are my favourite killers to play so if someone wants them nerfed I become hostile. ^^ have a good day.

  • Lol nice

  • No 24 was the old one. With self care it heals at 50% of the BASE healing speed. You heal with self care for 32 seconds. Honestly just run bond and get teammates to heal u.

LUL "I 4k every game as killer.. no challenge at all.. survivors so hard" .... dude survivor is still so easy and boring.... survivor game play revolves around gen sim and ring around the rosy.... if you can do those 2 things your survival chances are pretty high.....

I face Nurses, Hags and Spirits. 50% of my games. It is hard. I never said killer isn't hard so dont go putting words in my mouth (it's an expression. Dont assume I'm entitled like 60% of the people who play survivor.) I play both sides equally and have a hard time with solo. Have you even seen the teams you get. It's stupid. I've had a team that died in 4 minutes to a Freddy they tried to bully. I did 2 gens, unhooked some people and got the hatch. Just play solo survivor and actually get good at it (i'm assuming you're a decent killer which u probably aren't but I'll assume it). Then come back and tell me if solo is ez and tell me all about ur teammates you get. People always assume because I say I 4k a lot that I instantly think killer is easy. .-. I know killer is harder than survivor.

No I'll still loop obviously I am a durable survivor you know? Plus half the time I window loop so the combo is ineffective towards me in general.

  • The meta slave build-
    Dead hard
    Self care

Literally removes the healing nerf and u get ur dead hard predicted and rekt.

so i just finished a match as a nurse killing all survivors and at the end game i was getting insulted and harassed for being a jew. is there any punishment for those kind of players who are racist and insulting others for their religion? i can provide a video recording of that if needed.

That is horrible. I am so sorry that they said those things to you. This is the problem with most the community, they won't show respect to others. I honestly feel so sorry for you. You just outplayed them and they're being so rude to you. Report them and hopefully they all get banned asap since that is just not right.

  • @EmpyreanSin said:
Sooo.. I finish two generators and see literally nobody the whole round besides the killer. And the one person I unhooked twice. I manage to sneak around the killer until he leaves the general area and return to my third generator. There's a Nea there working on it, and I decide it's all the better and continue helping. Until the killer shows up. I sneak aside in the opposite direction, Nea gets hits, and she runs in my direction. Pure accident, I believe. I get hooked, TWO of my teammates are hiding in lockers, and Nea is now halfway across the map. No one comes for me. Nea hides in a locker like the other two and doesn't work on another generator. The other two die, and she manages to escape via hatch. Turns out she had Kindred, Tier II, so I doubt she led the killer to me by accident anymore.

What killer were they playing? Just curious cause I can never manage to get them to hide in lockers like that I'm not even feared as a killer lol. (That's me when I'm not playing Hag or Nurse).

  • Errrr. Tbh the 8v2 is good. But people would just play 2 nurses and dominate.
Hatch mode sounds fun actually but I doubt people would play it.
Toxic mode is Ochido and his fanboys dream but nobody else would like that
The dead by daylight mode sounds way too unfair.

    Trapper is fairly easy actually:
learn the spost and crouch through tall grass, as you will be notified when there is a trap to disarm. remember where he went, as this is mostly the trapped area and start disarming everything when he is chasing someone else.
Spirit on the other hand is more of a difficult one, as i dont see many spirits and i also dont rly have a strategy against her atm, but this killer is all about being unpredictable. is she vaulting the window? is she phase walking? we dont know, but we can guess. spirit heavily relies on mindgames, so if you trick her, you will get a high reward, as you will gain a huge distance and she needs to recharge her haunting. if she tricks you on the other hand, your done for.

    i hope i could help you ^^

Yeah thanks that's pretty helpful. I'll need to learn to understand them more lol.

I don't really think range is an issue for him. You can stalk from pretty far away as is. It'd be a little to see Myers stalking with his binoculars from a mile away.

Why dont the devs remove his cap. He's so weak with it.

  • Nope. 99% sure it doesn't thats why I run Iron will.

  • If I've been tunneled for 5 games in a row and killed,
    D Strike,
    Object of Obsession,
    Dead hard,
    And Adrenaline.
    Oh instaheal too.
Plan is if I get unfair games then I'll make it worse on the person I face next. I haven't used this build in half a year tho and last time I used this was on xbox. I also hard loop so combining T and L walls with a normal pallet loop to loop like mad. It's an efficient gamestyle and I also die in a corner of the map I never lose with this build. Also I pick a map offering for Coldwind.

    My normal build is,
Balanced Landing (dont have lithe yet and balanced is strongest exhaustion perk rn since it opens up a lot of loops.)
    Self care,
    Botany knowledge
    And Iron will.
Plan is to loop but not too hard unless I dont like the killer. Try to be stealthy but if I get caught run them for as long as I can without being unfair with OP looping. Unless It's Spirit or Trapper I do well. I bring a yellow medkit with that addon that adds 8 charges and increases healing speed and another addon that increases speed with no downside.

DS needs to be removed from the game immediately.

Remove Noed then. You survivor mains and you killer mains want one thing gone but wont bother asking for its counterpart to go .-.

  • I faced a Huntress with it. God damn the pressure was amazing. She was a good killer as well. That blood warden almost got her a 4 man if I wasn't careful with my actions.

  • @VolantConch1719 said:
There are VERY few killers who can shut down a loop. Nurse always comes to mind, and a lot of people say that Clown can as well, but I'm not very good with either. Huntress can also (somewhat) stop loops, or rather slow them down a little at pallets. But with the speed Hag places her traps, I've countered several loops because the Survivors don't realize what I was doing for about a second.
So yeah. I'd say it's worth it. She's actually a lot of fun as well.

Huntrress doesn't stop loops against good survivors, she makes them longer by winding her hatchets. Just keep running if ur healthy and just keep baiting it if ur injured. Once she's out of hatchets she'll be forced to reload or get bullied for 5 gens.

  • I feel entitled as sh!t being one of the few Nurse players to get to a good level pretty easily. Honestly, my advice is, if you can predict survivors and you know their movespeed, your blink speed and your distance. You're solid as Nurse. I used to be a survivor main (I play both sides now) and I can completely predict survivors with some ease. But as Nurse, you'll never stop improving. You'll keep going until u literally 4 man in 5 seconds of a game. Some advice to get momentum quickly btw. Someone always spawns to ur right. If ur right is a wall, they'll spawn to ur left. It's a good way to find that guy early. Also if u get good as Nurse. Eat the D strike it doesn't stop ur momentum. Dont eat it until ur confident u can get them in 1 blink tho. That's my advice.

This is in killers because some will have played her and understand her power. She mindgames the hell out of me and not even Nurse is that hard to counter. How do you defeat her power my chases against her are 40 seconds long which is decent but small compared to me vs any other killer except Nurse and Trapper. And onto Trapper, how do you counter him. He's always got traps at the small loops that you wouldn't expect and in chase I get crushed. Please help lol.

You can run OoO for example and you will see the location of every trap he puts, also voicecomm in a SWF compeltely demolishes trapper.

Against spirit adn trapper its both helpful to walk sometimes instead of sprinting.

I recommend playing them yourself and you will see what the survivors you verse do against you

I'm earning spirit rn and trapper I've got enough advice for these guys @Dragonredking gave some pretty solid advice. Ty for the help against them guys

I made another version of this but that is outdated as hell so here's my new one.

    Top tier OP

    * Nurse (she's always going to be at the top unless the next killer is more powerful)

    • Hag (my boi hag was second best for a while but she's not as good as Spirit right now. Definitely better than Billy imo)

    • Billy (Ok he's not second best anymore and the antiheal meta makes him nowhere near as good as Hag or Spirit and some are having trouble accepting that Billy isnt 2nd anymore and Hag outshines him)

    • Spirit (she was meant to be below Hag and Billy, she's more effective than both in chase since there's little counterplay to her but she isn't stronger since they can both apply more pressure than Spirit.

      Mid tier

    • Myers (he's really good and this antiheal meta has put him above most the other killers since Myers is one of the best killers at catching healing survivors with a Nurses calling).

    • Clown (He's just amazing and this antiheal meta makes him so strong.

    • Pig (a killer who can counter loops, sneak up on survivors and slow the game down all in her base kit. She's just amazing and can do so much with this new meta)

    • Wraith (He's a surprise to be this high up but he counters loops, blocks pallets, has decent map pressure and enhanced hearing in his BASE. Then with the windstorm addons he's pretty strong and he can actually kill now ^^)

    • Huntress (she's literally only this low because of her movespeed and how an experienced survivor can loop her easily like literally with no struggle)

    • Trapper/Doctor (they both just about made the mid tier and they both need buffs. They're both super scary but they are weak and easy to counterplay.)

      Bottom tier

    • Leatherface (my boi is no fun to play, you can loop his power and he's rather weak can someone suggest a buff for him to me)

    • Freddy (I hope his buffs are as good as I think but not too much that he'll be stronger than Nurse again since he used to be sooooo strong he made Nurse a joke).

Wraith is really overrated since his “Rework”.

His Add-Ons got buffed but that’s about it.

Speaking of overrated the Hag is getting that too sind her rework which is more justified compared to The Wraith but still.

And The Hag hasn’t been good at all up until her rework but she is still not better than The Hillbilly. Hillbilly has immense Map Pressure, can shorten a Chase and he still can do all of these things. Then The Doctor is absolutely not in Low Tier since there are still a ton Survivors that fk up in a Chase with him.

The Clown however is so underrated that I think a lot of People don’t see his Potential and only consider The Hillbilly and The Nurse to be the best because everyone else says so. Anyways speaking of the Clown, he has great Chase Potential and Add-Ons only increase his Power. He can also put out immense Pressure and is great with Hex: Devour Hope.

Then The Shape. The Shape is also incredibly underrated probably because he’s a licensed Killer but he has incredible Mindgames and often peopl and think his Tier 3 insta down makes him good to which I can say:”What the fk! Are you stupid?” He has incredible Mindgames and together with The Doctor has the most Game-Changing Add-Ons. Michael is terrifying. And another advice is playing him on Lerys with Scratched Mirror, Hex: Ruin, Rancor, Save the best for Last/Hex: Noone escapes Death and Monster and Abuse.

You can’t read his Aura in Tier 1 which you’ll be staying in you can however read theirs and this is one of the most fun builds in the Game

Wraith is not overrated, Hag is not weak idk why people keep saying that, I've mastered Billy, Nurse (kind of), and Hag and I will stand by my statement because I find Hag a lot better to use, shuts down every loop and if u have everyone crouching around with Urban, you're able to get around the map faster then them which lets her patrol the gens pretty well. Overrated is Huntress and Billy.

Huntress can literally get looped 10 times by someone who knows what they're doing and that's just at a normal pallet loop. The only reason why people consider her top tier is because not everyone knows how to counter her whereas Wraith on the other hand, can shut down normal loops, go across the map fast and down people who know what they are doing better then Huntress. Sure he's not the best but he's better then her at a lot.

Billy is definitely top tier because he can bounce back from messing up a lot better then any other killer. But he's still not as good as a Hag who knows what she's doing. I mean Hag with sloppy can injure a whole team that are spread around the map quicker then any other killer and have one hooked Nurse can't because Nurse would have to know where they are and the others can manage 2 at a time if they are smart. She can literally keep survivors off gens for so long with sloppy there's nothing that Billy can do better except bouncing back from mistakes. And with 3 people injured and one hooked, one survivor will have to go unhook while injured and Hag basically wins from there. Whereas Billy gets genrushed bad. And the reason I know she can do that is because It's happened to me a very suprising amount of times. Now even further, she can actually use a Nurses to slug a survivor for someone to go pick them up and then she will dominate. Hag is the 2nd best killer because no other killer except Nurse can manage that. And even so, Nurse takes longer to get it started like that and it's harder. Next time someone says Hag is worse then Billy I wont bother writing such a big arguement lol.

      I agree on Huntress there.
However what do you mean with:” and if you have everyone crouching around with Urban, you’re able to get around the Map faster then them which lets her patrol Gens pretty well.”
Urban counters Hag and thus makes her unable to teleport.
And no Hillbilly is not overrated. He has way better Map Pressure than Hag since for her to have Map Pressure, Survivors first have to trigger the Traps meanwhile the Hillbilly has Map Pressure and can instantly down Survivors.
And a Hag who knows what she’s doing cannot beat Survivors that know what their doing. As soon as she traps a Loop, Good Survivors will just run to the next Loop. A Hillbilly who knows hat he’s doing won’t even need his Mallet anymore since he can instantly Chainsaw them

Bait trap a loop then .-.

  • I normally just give them the kill if they really want it. Unless they p!ss me off at some point in the game, I will let them have the kill.

  • I put it on high settings and look out for the corn moving. Medium is just as good. If it's on low, u wont see anything.

  • Yup learn Hag she's a lot of fun and she's as easy to master as Nurse. (So moderate difficulty)

  • @Dragonredking said:
You counter trapper by having eyes and common sense

I'm getting tunneled all game :( got any advice for that?

Well , if you get tunneled its often careless teammates who unhook you at bad times. If a Trapper decides to do it i say don't struggle and waste his time, he can't get much out of their traps when they decide to play like that.

Tunneling in general? Well hope your teammates dont blatantly unhook you while he is nearby or just out of the TR, you got 60s so chill and wait till they are chasing someone else, or are across the map.
Don't give him the impression that there is already someone around waiting, in my experience unhooking at the 30-40 second mark works best.

Truth is its unfun, necessary sometimes but you can't control Killers behavior.

    Yh. Ty for the advice.

For both of them, especially Trapper is to play and get good with him. Then you will learn to judge them and identify their likely trap spots and playstyles. I'm a Trapper main and he is one of the easier ones to go up against for me.

Trapper is by far the most tactical Killer in the game, he has a deceivingly high skillcap because of it and a good Trapper isn't reliant on fixed trap spots to win.
When playing as or against him remember that situations dictate the tactics, try to think about how many traps he could have around and how much time he could spend on them without risking getting rushed.

Ok thanks <3 so if he has ruin, by the time that it's gone he'll most likely have most of them down and if I locate all of them and destroy them, I should be able to give my team a win because he'll spend time trapping around again. Ty dude <3

  • Imagine using Bond and that pebble perk and throwing it at a teammate doing a gate lol.

  • The 1st perk only works on him they need to be usuable on all killers the only ones that are, are the 2nd and 3rd one.

Sometimes if I feel bad for a killer, I will let them hit me. And if they've tunneled me all game and not even managed to touch me once, I'll let them hook me.

Wait, you mean those occasional hooks I get from survivors in the exit gates are not because they miscalculated but in fact because I've managed to make them feel that badly because I haven't gotten a single hook all game ?

No I legit walk to a hook and point at it so the killer can kill me

  • Top tier-
    1. Claudette (seriously her perks are insane)
    2. Feng (alert is op rn technician lets you repair right infront of the killer and Lithe is amazing)
    3. Meg (the gen jockey has perks made for running a killer)
    4. Nea (Balanced landing is the strongest exhaustion perk imo since it opens up new loops I still prefer lithe tho and urban evasion is just amazing)
    5. Laurie (D strike is just OP)
    Mid tier
    1. David (Dead hard is good if u mess up a lot but not that good for people who barely mess up)
    2. Dwight (Bond is the most satisfying perk in the game cause u feel powerful seeing your teammates everywhere.)
    3. Jake Park (Iron will and Calm spirit are super fun and saboteur is annoying)
    4. Kate (Very noob friendly and dance with me is probably one of the strongest perks rn)
    5. Tapp (Stake out is fun, Tenacity is awesome and Detectives hunch is fun too.
    Bottom Tier
    1. Ace (his perks aren't the best)
    2. Bill (ever since the Borrowed time nerf, he's just trash. Unbreakable is too situational, Left behind is trash and Borrowed time is decent but it means u gotta sacrifice urself.)
    3. Quentin (Peng af like Nea but his perks are so weak rn it's depressing.)

    Survivors still run the show.

The survivor side is becoming less and less brain-dead, making it hard for survivor mains to cope.

True lol it takes some skill to make a chase last more than 40 seconds. But the OP is probably a guy who is one of those players who dont hide but cant make a chase last more than 4 seconds.
