    i think he is talking about a graphical change at least thats what i hope

    Must be, didn't say anything about his rework in patch notes and I'm 99% sure his rework is coming next patch. Probably with Leatherface buffs.

  • Wait did he get his rework what are they?

  • Why are you letting teabagging get to you. Learn to ignore it. As survivor I point at the killer for fun and most of them take it like that. You should ignore teabaggers they're just Ochide fan boys. As killer I ignore them and don't let them get in my head. They're either doing it for fun or u might have annoyed them hem if they start doing it midgame. One time a Leatherface tunnelled me for my first 2 hooks. On my last chase, I teabagged the hell out of him. Looped him so bad at the shack and on top of that, got an adrenaline and got out of the doors. My friend who got tunnelled by him to death, noted how toxic I was in only that game.

    6- Op af like number 4.

    Nice ideas they're pretty fun.

    Thanks for the feedback we didn't think too much on the killers side of these perks i guess but from now on we will consider the killers side when thinking of ideas, but with the transporting killer one it could actually benefit the killer in a way as they may spawn near other survivors and they wont even know about it but yeah it still is op your right

    Honestly if you want a perk to transport faster you can use SB, It's probably the strongest exhaustion perk because it can cheat dumb killers out of a hit, counter clown with the speed to counter his so ur a little faster then him, Wraith's speed burst, Nurse if u predict her coming, Spirit if u hear her, Billy cause of the distance and Pigs dash. And on top of that it helps you get around the map faster. Combined with Vigil, (which needs a buff badly to like 40% now that the exhaustion change has happened) Sprint burst can get u across the map faster. It's still ridiculously OP and versatile. We dont need the transport perk when hitting a skill check if we got Sprint Burst. ^^

    i don't like the sprint burst personally due to if i want to run to the next generator it will be used up leaving me to have to wait for it to recharge and i don't like the fact that there could be the killer near and i didn't see them so i could have wasted my sprint burst and crawling is too slow for me. but your argument makes sense and i agree now that everyone has said that it is way too op.

    Sprint burst is so op. The exhaustion changed nothing. I wish they brought back double exhaustion and nerfed SB since balanced landing isn't as reliable.

    lithe is not reliable either i swear it doesn't give me the Sb all the time even when i have it.

    You have to be in chase for it to prop. If you use it when out of chase it wont work. I wish it did when out of chase since it would be so much more useful.

    i didn't know that but it is when i'm in a chase that i don't i always get it anyway as that is when i need it and it just seems like i'm just running normally. i don't know that if it just my account that it is like this or that i'm just too tired to notice tbh. do you sometimes get this too?

    Actually never got that. Strange. Get into a few matches with Lithe (Maybe in kill your friends) get one of u

    I know some might disagree, but in my view, huntress should have 115% movement speed. She’s a pretty good killer already, but what really hinders her is how she’s 110% movement speed. She’s only really deadly when survivors are in the open and you can land your hatchets. Yes, you can do the little trick where you get a hatchet hit in when they drop a pallet but good survivors normally won’t let that happen.

    I think if she had 115% speed, she wouldn’t be so prone to the usual gen rush and pallet looping. I might have a bias too since she’s my favorite killer :) lol... what do you guys think?

    That or bring her instahatchets back, she's far too easy to bully and she needs a way to counter those loops. Like I always say, no matter how good a Huntress is, if the survivor plays it correctly, she'll get abused and looped around 1 loop (normal sized) at least 8 times before pallet drop. I've faced some great Huntress players who have a hard time and with the skill they got with her, they deserve to be rewarded.

    Instahatchets do NOT need to come back. They were blatantly overpowered and stupid.

    At least they made her viable.

    She's still in the top-tier.

    It doesn't get much more viable than that O_O;

    She's mid tier for sure. Too ez to loop, if u don't mess up which u rarely do, you can get 8 loops in before dropping the pallets.

    Okay you have no idea what you're talking about if you think you can legitimately loop ANY killer 8 times around anything.

    Maybe. I don't play survivor much anymore It's more Nurse and Hag for me. Last time I faced one though, I did an excellent job of baiting her. But you're more experienced then me so maybe you know better? I mean I did only join 1 year and 2 months ago. I'm tired, goodnight dude.

    Idk how Scott, a veteran DBD player, doesn’t recognize how unbalanced this game can be when solid swf teams step in. You’re a great huntress but come on now... you should know how easy survivors still have things if they play optimally

    If a full team has like 4 toolboxes, 4 DS, 4 Unbreakable, 4 Sprint Burst, all on comms, then yes, that's overpowered.

    Has that ever actually happened to you? Maybe one game ever?

    I disagree dude. This patch has been the easiest it has ever been for killer. Some maps are just completely dead and there's nothing survivors can do on them anymore. There are also still some strong Survivor maps too, but the game is the easiest its ever been for killer. I don't care how much they're talking on comms, it doesn't help them not die faster in a chase.

    I've seen a friend of mine using them when I went over to his home to play dbd. Seriously he dominated. She was so strong back then. Also I completely agree with this game being much easier for killer. I play both sides and I don't even like Huntress anymore but I agree that she needs that movespeed or non directional hum. Btw love ur streams.

    I'm not saying i don't believe you.
    I just want to hear what makes you give him this rating, considering he's back to being my favorite.

    I think he's where Huntress is in that list.

    Really?!
    How so?

    Huntress is overrated, Wraith at base has decent map pressure (from the faster movement speed when cloaked without windstorm addons), a counter to looping (his speed burst.), Good tracking (from his enhanced hearing when invisible, able to bait a survivor into dropping a pallet, and on top of that he's very effective in most maps^^. And add his addons and some perks to the mix and you can get a fun game where u do well with a simple build of Windstorm green addon, Green uncloaking decrease addon, Enduring, Bamboozle, Sloppy butcher and Ruin. You don't even need Spirit Fury to do well with him. I 4k with that build. I run Brutal Strength instead of Enduring but that's because half the time I face potatoes who drop the pallet instantly. And what does Huntress have? Nothing. You could loop her 8 times around one pallet if u play it correctly before u gotta drop it.

    These are great points. 8-)

    Thanks lol. I know my stuff with all the killers except Spirit ^^.

    I quite enjoy the new Windstorm ones.
    You don't get that much speed when uncloaking, but it's not that big a deal since you'll be right on top of them thanks to the positive of Windstorm anyway.

    Yeah lol it's amazing how he doesn't get bullied much anymore and can actually patrol the gens better then any other killer with both the purple and green windstorm addons. He's so fast not even Nurse or Billy have that much speed.

  • Why'd you even mori spam? I'm interested into seeing the context. Was it an Ochido fanboy with a flashlight and DS?

    And she’s very easily looped during that state, making her reliant on bloodlust (if she wants to get a hit), but due to the nature of her kit, she can’t have an immense lunge. So a movement speed buff would make complete sense.

    Indeed. A similar mechanic could be argued for the Hag (higher movement speed if no traps are set).

    Are there still differences in killer lunges?

    I believe so, but it may be hardly noticeable. With the exception of the spirit, which makes it look like there is. I’ll doublecheck.

    They fixed the difference last patch I think.

  • There's another way around her slow speed too, you could make her hum go. I believe she has a 20m terror radius that would allow her to sneak up on survivors. But I love her hum so I wish it wasn't louder the closer she is, and it always sounds distant. If she rank moniter and abuse with a constant distant hum, she could really sneak up on survivors. She'd be viable and very strong again.

    My take:

    1. Hillbilly, Nurse, Hag

    2. Huntress, Myers, Spirit

    3. Doctor, Clown, Trapper, Freddy, Pig

    4. Wraith

    5. Leatherface

      Billy isn't close to Nurse and definitely not better imo. I was a VERY strong Billy and I'm an AVERAGE Nurse and my Nurse gameplay is wayy better and more relaxing.

      I didn't say that left means better. Also i think Nurse is slightly overrated when in contrast to the upsides a god Billy has.

    Seriously? A 5 second chase and straight in your next is overrated? Billy gets bullied half the time I face him. Nurse is NOT overrated. Just learn her, become a top tier Nurse or at least average and then tell me if she's overrated. Sorry about misunderstanding the left to right btw. A god tier Billy is nothing compared to a god tier Nurse. You obviously haven't bothered learning Nurse or you wouldn't say that. She has better pressure, MUCH better chases, she lacks only tracking. A god tier Nurse can dominate even on a corn map. Yes I have faced a Nurse who can play on a corn map just as easily as playing on Autohaven. Billy is NOT anywhere near as good as Nurse. I bet you a DECENT(slightly above average) Nurse could do much better then a god tier Billy at rank 1. Now with addons and perks, Nurse makes Billy look like Freddy with her green range addon and her green blink movement speed addon and they're nowhere near as strong as both her range addons. Billy with instasaw (his strongest addons since they reduce almost every one of his stats in a positive way) can dominate for sure. But can not even compare to Nurse. Please do not call Nurse overrated. She is very strong. Please try learning her, come back and tell me if you still think this. And do not give me the bs I get saying ur a rank 1 Nurse, that's highly unlikely if you obviously haven't seen a top tier Nurse. Even an average Nurse can have a very successful game. Have a good day :)

    Dead by Daylight works like this: the Entity tests four survivors and a killer, sending them in a map overflowing with tactical resources, objectives to be achieved, dangers and opportunities. When the trial begins, there is a certain balance: putting aside the various factional polemics, which I have always considered harmful to a healthy and constructive debate, the killer has a power that is basically equal to the cumulative power of the four survivors. During the course of the challenge, the survivors fall under the blows of the killer, who therefore acquires a certain pre-eminence over the remaining opponents, and the resources offered by the map are increasingly in short supply: fewer hooks available, less chests to search, less totems remained intact, less pallets still usable. Let's take some concrete examples, to avoid any misunderstanding:
    1) the hooks are irreparably destroyed after the sacrifice of a survivor, and the killer sees his power weakened in that area of the map: the survivors can then take advantage of it, luring him there to keep him busy with the concrete hope to wiggle free;
    2) the emptied chests do not offer other items after being searched: if a survivor collects treasures, which are lost because of Franklin or voluntary drop, or consumes them in its entirety, the most diligent companion, who may have been busy to work on generators or to save the survivors hooked up, in the moment of the need is deprived of any help;
    3) the cleansed totems cannot be repaired by the killer: it is very frustrating to find one or more perk slots wasted, because the survivors were lucky enough to immediately cleanse the curse totems or even to prevent the activation of a powerful curse (like NOED) by destroying all the five totems;
    4) the broken pallets remain unusable for the rest of the trial (unlike vaults): this means that the most diligent and laborious survivor can find himself without the slightest possibility of distancing the killer because of his fellow idiots, who had fun to provoke the killer with flashlights and loops, while he worked for the group.

    This means that the wealth of the game is maximum at the beginning, ridiculous at the end: the map is reduced to an inert environment, from which you can no longer take any advantage, and the tension, the adrenaline, the immersion, instead of culminating gradually towards the final climax, progressively fade, disperse, leave players, on both sides, the feeling that the big has already been done, that the outcome is now inexorable, that only luck, no more individual agility or cleverness, can make the difference. I find it decidedly sad, bland, like a film that starts with an exciting, intriguing, breathtaking story, with the protagonists in full of fervor and heroism, but that loses the rhythm, the pathos, the energy in the course of the minutes, is gradually flattened on a slow, didactic, boring conversation of the protagonists sitting down to dine, in slippers and tank top, in the living room of the house, looking tired and aged. So I ask you to raise your gaze to the horizon, to imagine a more long-lasting game mechanics, which offer substantial opportunities in each phase of the trial, so that it is only the individual talent to decree the winner. I personally believe that the challenge must remain exciting from the first to the last moment, that a player must lose because his opponent proves more skilled or clever, not because the tactical resources offered by the map are now exhausted: I do not like the idea of this going to die of the trial, I do not know if I can explain myself.

    In concrete terms, here's what I propose:
    1) the hooks disassembled by sabotage or sacrifice regenerate after 180 seconds (except for the Saboteur bonus);
    2) the chests procedurally generate a new object after 360 seconds from emptying;
    3) the killer can repair the cleansed totems or imprint a broken curse on a dull totem, spending 6-24 seconds, directly proportional to the time during which the totem remained standing or the curse remained active;
    4) broken pallets can be repaired ONCE with a special perk in 18/15/12 seconds OR, alternatively, regenerate after 360 seconds, plus 60 extra seconds per survivor still alive, from breaking (all or only some, randomly selected by the Entity).

    Regarding the contrast between "Solo Survivors vs SWF Survivors", which has great importance in balancing, refer to the thread https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/31320/lets-speak-clearly-of-swf-from-definitions-to-remedies

    Regarding the environmental effects, which affect the variety of the game and the tactical challenges of the map, refer to the thread https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/31674/environmental-effects

    Regarding the hatch, which certainly affects the endgame, because the theme is too long to be treated here, refer to the thread https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/31329/lets-speak-clearly-of-the-hatch-issue-from-definitions-to-remedies

    I ask everyone to respond calmly, with arguments on the merits, without useless shots of anger, in a constructive and possibly analytical manner. :)

    Ok I'll say that your ideas are quite bad sorry to say but I gotta say the last time I thought about regenerating pallets, Freddy was the best killer in the game which is almost 1 year ago... Honestly, you should get used to the way survivors and killers are now since the pallets need no changes, for the hook regen thing just simply run that pig perk to regenerate them ^^.

    Just play as Laurie. She has a tiny hitbox and is easier to use to dodge him. Better yet, just use something like Decisive Strike, or drop pallets.

    Wait is her hitbox actually tiny? Holy #########

    My take:
    1. Hillbilly, Nurse, Hag
    2. Huntress, Myers, Spirit
    3. Doctor, Clown, Trapper, Freddy, Pig
    4. Wraith
    5. Leatherface

    Billy isn't close to Nurse and definitely not better imo. I was a VERY strong Billy and I'm an AVERAGE Nurse and my Nurse gameplay is wayy better and more relaxing.

    Hag should be top tier after Billy imo. Now that I've seen the power of Spirit and sort of learnt Billy, I think Hag is 4th best killer. She's definitely better than Myers and Clown. I also think Huntress should be after Doctor because she's overrated as hell and she's really just average. I'd bump Wraith to where Huntress is. This is my version. I'll include the old Freddy, the old Wraith and the old Hag.

    S ---- Old Freddy, Spirit, Billy, Hag

    A+ ---- Pig, Doctor, Huntress

    1 unhook= 3% more speed up to a maximum of 15%?

    I'll just do 3 since I cba to do more
    Shadowborn- Makes the maps brighter with no downsides. (Basically the old meta version)
    Calm Spirit- You leave no scratch marks during your sprint burst while getting injured and you do not moan while in dying state.
    Botany- 50% for the value.
    Lol op buffs for all 3.

    Hey guys. I want to talk about a problem in DBD. It has to do with the perk Decisive Strike.

    Currently when we look at perks, we see that some perks get more attention then the others.
    Survivors almost always run perks like Borrowed Time and Surveillance as you can see in the Graph below.

    But when it comes to Decisive Strike, not many people run this perk as you can see above (PS4 statistics), it's because the skill check is hard to hit and when you miss it, you have no more perk. This is stupid of course. Why would you run a perk that you won't have? It's the point that you always get it, so why punish (ps4) players for missing it, of which some suffer from a worse fps.

    Decisive strike's skill check should go slower and when you miss it, it should still activate or the stun time should be longer.

    Thanks.

    ps4 lol. everyone on pc or tons of people uses this perk. its gives you a get out of jail free card for what making a mistake. thats why they plan to nerf it. it punishes the killer for doing their job! stun time should be longer yeah thats a no. survivor is easy mode. this post is just stupid. the devs see this i bet they would laugh at it and be like hell no. lol. so because of low fps you think this deserves a buff. get out of here

    Yeah Deja Vu is ridiculously overused too you should add that to ur chart. I see every survivor In all my killer/survivor games using it. Buff DS and nerf Deja Vu.

    Leather face isn't good but he isn't as bad as people make him out to be, he's most likely C tier.

    Nope. When Freddy is buffed, Bubba will probably be the weakest killer in the game.
    Huntress is DEFINITELY stronger than Clown. Loops shouldn't be too big of an issue for a Huntress honestly.

    Huntress is weaker than Clown. People have trouble admitting this because they're used to her being top tier. But she's not. After the instahatchets nerf she's weak. She's tall so she's quite easy to loop around rocks where she cant hit u and her hum gives her away if she tries to patrol gens. She needs desperate buffs because she's not good and easy to loop. People who understand her have no problem ripping her apart.

    Top tier
    1. Nurse
    2. Billy (yes I've finally accepted that he's better than Hag)
    3. Hag
    4. Spirit
    Mid tier
    5. Myers (1 more buff and he's top tier)
    6. Clown
    7. Wraith (He's solid right now ok? He's got a counter to looping and he's decent
    8. Pig
    9. Huntress (Don't bother making an argument with me on this, she's not top tier she's mid tier and she's overrated as hell she's lucky to be 8th I'm being very generous putting her here.
    Bottom tier
    10. Doctor
    11. LF
    12. Trapper
    Trash tier
    13. Freddy

    I respectfully disagree with Tyde when it comes to Hag and Leatherface.

  • People who don't f0cking tunnel you to death like I keep getting blocked and tunneled in the basement. That's what makes a good killer and for a good survivor it's someone who isn't entitled.

    Don't run Bond to get your teammates to heal you. Healing yourself at a base-speed of 50% is always better, no matter the duration of the heal.

    the 32 seconds of selfheal (wasting 32 seconds of your time) is still better than healing for 16 seconds for 2 players adding up to a total of 32 seconds wasted and having to run to the same healing spot.
