Quentin may be ugly, but he has the best looking and sexiest default outfit out of all Survivors. Kate is both sexy and she has the second best default outfit, which outshines any of her store outfits (which arent many, to be fair).

The perk was originally really powerful, being unlimited upon powering the last generator. But that was restricted to tier 3, and the grind for it was harsh if RNG wasnt in your favour. Then they made it timed, and it still made up for the missed attack cooldown. Then they made it a hex perk, and removed the cooldown reduction, but the text still showed it. It wasnt until the instant down was made available to all three tiers some weeks ago where it was removed from the description to match what the perk actually did.

What is the point of making the Killer think you have Deliverance as the last Survivor when you dont? That will yet again result in the same situation as you having Deliverance as the last Survivor that I mentioned above. You are dead, and the match is over. No need to lengthen the inevitable just because you want to waste the Killer's time.

No, he isnt. He is asking for Rancor to not show the aura of the killer to the Obsession. Instead, replace aura reading with location, which is what the Killer sees when using this perk right now. Bitter Murmur has nothing to do with this, because aura reading for Killer is not what its being discussed.Jdsgames said:@PigNRun said:

Just saying.
What about it? Bitter Murmur has nothing to do with this discussion.
Because bitter murmur is the other half of what he is requesting be done to rancor.
He is also adding in I believe it is dark sense to rancor.Essentially making 3 perks into 1

There is little point to this, because, if it was implemented, then what would be the point of the Killer leaving the hook? Even if you Deliverance'd your way out, the Killer would hit you down back again and hook you again. They will see that you are not dying instantly and think "Oh, this person has Deliverance, I will stay here".

Totem notifications is bad design, not a measure to power up solo Survivors. Yhe others are fine.TheBean said:@Might_Oakk said:
What are these buffs you speak of that solo survivors have received?Totem notifications.... That being the biggest one...
The obsession marking showing up in the hud.
Solo is being brought up to SWF levels so Killers can get buffed more to deal with SWF.

I just hate when someone mentions a toxic element of Killers/Survivors (but Survivors in most cases) and someone immediately after jumps in saying the opposite side has toxic elements as well. Just as annoying as feminists, and thats saying a lot.

Like, what I would just prefer for myself or in general?
On Killers, BBQ and Chili. Not only for the amazing BP boost but also because it would free up a slot on every single one of my Killers. The Aura reading, I dont care.
On Survivor, either Pharmacy or Spine Chill. Pharmacy, instead of guaranteeing a medkit on your first search, I would add the prerequisite of searching a chest while injured. Spine Chill, since the UI is what I use this perk for, maybe make it so that the edges of the screen turn red, or Entity legs appear on them.

Something about Legion, its actually really clear where their spot is in the timeline outside cosmetics. Look at the Ormond realm offering (Damaged Photo). It shows the four Legion members and is inscribed with the date it was taken "Aug. 28th, '96". So, they were definitely around in 1996. Doesnt mean they were grabbed by the Entity at that exact date (maybe a few years later), but their spot is mostly clear.

I never used NC on the doctor because i always thought it was a wasted perk slot on him. I mean, he's really good at tracking survivors...Too true. You don't put tracking perks on a guy who's inherently good at tracking Survivors. That'd be like putting a (hypothetical) perk that allows you to teleport on the Nurse.
Dont you dare trashtalk Bamboozle on Nurse.

Except that it isnt over. And whenever you use an endgame perk, it gets called a "crutch" because "it rewards doing nothing the whole game".Rebel_Raven said:
The game IS over at that point.Brady said:I hate this "When the exit gates are open, the game is over" mindset that we see so frequently.
I acknowledge that holding a game hostage is prevalent, but such drastic changes cannot be implemented just because of a scenario that happens like 1% of the time. (I got thousands of hours and never had my game held hostage. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I mean really? Is it such a priority to fix this problem)
Though it would be nice to have encouragement for Survivors to leave the trial as quick as possible, free bloodwarden is a no no over on my end. That's taking away a perk too that's really nice.
I think after X amount of time your aura should be revealed and stay revealed to the Killer. Lockers do not provide aura reading blockage and therefore you'd have no choice but to run from the Killer and leave.
Unless you surprise the hell out of someone at the gate (only a few killers realistically can) and down them in one hit, they're absurdly safe.
There's not a goddamn thing you can do to stop them from escaping short of surprising them because the whole area is safe.

The thing is, whether you are in Madness 2 or 3, if you are getting tunnelled, it doesnt matter. You cant heal yourself or repair generators at tier 3, and you scream every few moments, but the tunneling killer will already know where you are anyway.

To be fair, her bloodied face (P3) looks great with the ripped kimono, and the weapon would be a plus.

My top 5 favourite killers:
1) Spirit
2) Clown
3) Doctor
4) Freddy
5) Pig
Top 5 least favourite killers:
1) Nurse
2) Huntress
3) Wraith
4) Hillbilly
5) Hag

In the current state of the game, where there are too few reliable killers, Nurse shouldnt get touched at all (maybe her multiple Blink add-ons, but whatever). Buff/Rework all low tier killers and then we can talk about her.
As for Spirit, she was 100% worth it. She is one of the most appreciated and loved killer by the community and one of the high tier ones. She did get screwed a bit with the engine update, but that is a matter of getting it fixed.
The advantage and possibilities from her power are the most original from all other killers, mainly mindgames. When its done correctly, such as grabbing someone from a generator/totem, getting a Survivor to run towards you, pallet mindgames, its the most satisfying moment you can get in a game.
Her aesthetics, that is where most of the work went towards to. And the end result, outstanding. A badass lady with unique movement, so many facial expressions and interesting noises.
That said, Im a Spirit main, so I might be just a bit biased. -
"Legion's backstory is so bad because they are just edgey teens! WAAH!"

Freddy is a fragment of the Survivor's imagination. Whenever the killer approaches them, they injure themselves.TAG said:Realism mode - Wraith can't cloak, Nurse can't blink or float, Hag can't teleport, Doctor isn't a walking fuse box, Huntress needs a more convenient way to carry dem hatchets, Freddy doesn't exist, Clown needs to spend an hour making a bottle of gas, Spirit doesn't exist, and Legion plays all at once. -
No, perks from newer DLCs will cost more. In other words, Spirit's, Adam's, Legion's and Jeff's perks will cost more until more DLCs are released.(I think Clown and Kate as well, I forgot to check it out last week with Coulrophobia).Boaris030 said:@BACKSTABBER said:
Deliverance OPwhy some perks cost 2000 and others 2700? what is the criteria?
I think if it’s the first time appearing on the shrine it’s more expensive

Not exactly a meme, but I found this fanart randomly and made me laugh.

-
I havent seen any in months.

Option 5: Keep it as it is, because it works just fine as it is.
-
Why not just completely remove BP gain from unhooking and reward the sum of unhooking and safe unhooking as safe unhooking?
-
Pig does see what boxes have the keys for her remaining traps (on her and on Survivors). After a Survivor removes a trap, the respective Jigsaw Box's aura disappears from her vision. The difference with Survivors is that they only disappear after they have searched through them.Bravescorpio said:
Can I ask a stupid question here, how does the pig know it's the last Jigsaw box? Unless she followed you around to all the others?Speshul_Kitten said:4 survivors left

(Rank 1, Not SWF, if any of that info matters)
Pig staring at Jigsaw box until time runs out
They don't fade away from her vision like they do a survivor who needs them, and with 4 survivors and Gen's left that's quite a thing to track. If she knew it was your last it sounds like she could hav killed you a long time ago and is just dicking you around now -
No, Rin is definitely one of the "newer" killers in the timeline. She has an add-on called "Muddy Sports Day Cap". Sports Day started happening in the 60s in Japan, so she was alive at least after the 80s.
Also, working at a youngish age on a restaurant, her father working on a factory as an accountant or administrative position, those are fairly modern concepts.

Adept Freddy was the first one I got. Really easy with Class Photo and a mori, on my first attempt.
-
I should someday try Adept David, but I really hate No Mither.
-
Perks do need downsides, but Blood Warden has too many downsides. That is what makes it extremely situational and not worth taking it in in moat cases.
-
Prank Blade (Common)
A party knife with a retractable plastic blade.
* Stabbing Survivors with Feral Frenzy doesnt put them in an injured or Deep Wounds state.
* Gain 100% Bloodpoints in the Deviousness category.
"What is this #########? Julie, where is my knife? Ah, screw it." - Frank

I dont think it counts, because its mine, but anyway. Whenever I play Kate with Windows of Opportunity, I rename myself to "I Lick Windows".
-
Freddy:
- Rancor
- Tinkerer (optional)
Maybe even Dream Transition add-ons or Pill Bottle, but generally not needed.
You will only get one kill, the Obsession, but its so so troll (and satisfying). Find your Obsession, dont sleep them, just chase them around. When the last generator is completed (you might even know beforehand because of Tinkerer), sleep them, down them and mori them. You will deny them of points, an escape, and most likely their DS. You will derank, but you will be killing someone.
And its the perfect excuse. "I was just doing my daily ritual!".

I dont use Self Care. I used Pharmacy. - Shades on-

Map selection has been kind to me lately. The only pattern I noticed was that if I used an Ebony Mori (I used several because event + prestiging Spirit), I would always get thrown into The Game, which helped a lot with those 4ks.
Other than that, I have been lucky. As Killer, its always Badham or Autoheaven Wreckers. As Survivor, mostly farm maps and Yamaoka Estate. -
Who?Supernaut said:Hi, am I the only person who thinks there is an immense amount of mileage in adding Blake and Stevie Wayne from The Fog?
As it is, DBD is set "In the Fog", the whole mist mechanic could be amped up to create a super spooky cloak under which the killer can move freely. As for Stevie, we have Jamie Lee Curtis in the game, why not another classic 80's icon, in Adrienne Barbeau!?
Seriously!!! Let's get behind this!!!
⬆
Thats the problem with certain licensed character ideas. They are not nearly iconic enough to be recognised. -
I was going to post a screenshot of something I noticed with Kate being healed by a Jeff. Her head bent forward/downwards way too much, but Robin Williams' thick thighs ruined the shot.
-
I 99% gens when the Killer is bad and I lack Objective points.
-
But such an amazing cosmetic needs to hold your attention somehow.
-
Kate was the best Survivor ever introduced, despite her perks being rather garbo.

Same like people fixing the carnaval generator first on the Clown map. Common sense to leave that one with the last 3 because its so isolated 90% of the time.I don't think the carnival generator is guaranteed to spawn. Do you mean the chapel generator? There's a trophy/achievement for fixing that gen, so that's probably why it's getting done first.
No, he does mean the generator that spawns near the Clown's wagon and horse. He is saying that one, once it does appear (though I remember it sometimes spawns in the carnival itself as well), its pretty isolated from other generators. Like the one in Yamaoka Estate in the Killer Shack, which can also sometimes spawn outside it.
-
Im fine with Botany Knowledge as it is right now, honestly. I run it on most characters. Permanent 100% healing speed though? Way too much. We'll Make It is 100%, but only after unhooking someone, and is timed, and doesnt work on yourself.
-
I got Adept Spirit a few weeks ago. It was in The Game, I brought in an ebony mori and purple add-ons. I got Brutal Killer at the end, yet the achievement popped up. All of them dead, three of them by my hand and the fourth one died on the floor (couldnt find him).
-
I mean, it could work similar to Jigsaw Boxes. If the killer is x, spawn them on the map that doesnt have them.
-
Im surprised Tapp is never mentioned ecen though he can blend in better in his black outfit than Adam.
-
I feel so sorry for you, OP.
-
Honestly, I dont consider it useful information at all. :P So, meh.

Its not unique to The Game, it happens with any map.

Joey is bottom, awaiting for Frank's attention.
