  • I have a better idea. Lets make NOED a hex perk, gives exposed status effect on all Survivors, a speed boost. The thing is, the hex totem only lights up when all generators are powered, but only if a dull totem is up by then. Otherwise, the perk doesnt trigger.

Yeah I was wondering myself if the lobby issues will be fixed by the time this is implemented. Otherwise its Lobby Simulator DX. I'd rather 3 man games than never get one.

That being said. I hope lobbies arent an issue, and this does work out well. I hate loading in with a BPS to die in 3 mins.

Likewise, I would rather not experience 3-person games at all. They arent fun, and I would much rather just not waste any consumables during that match than getting close to no use of them. The time spent getting a lobby doesnt matter to me as long as its a good 5-player game.

  • Plague infecting Trapper's traps and trapped Survivors. Not a bad combo.

If it really happens outside of KYF, then I would really like it for it to happen to me.

  • I just hope they dont make it like Plague and nerf his BP gain to the ground. >_>

  • If it is alphabetical, they have skipped some letters.

  • Legions have actually been the nicest ones at me though. Hags, maybe as second place. Probably because people who play Legion play them not to win but to farm BP.

  • To be honest, Temple of Purgation as an indoor map would have been a good excuse to give Lery's a secondary map. Like, same deal as with Red Forest, but it would have been an underground section of the hospital. :P

  • Pharmacy for life. You usually only need to heal up once or twice anyway.

Couldn't care less tbh, why is this set as a standard in the first place that every character has to have 3 teachables? It just makes the grind insane and we all agree that we have to many perks

We dont have too many perks. The means of getting them is a problem for some. (Not for me, I have played asian MMOs my entire life, so grinding isnt a problem). And to solve that, we need to change how the bloodweb or tiers work.

It MAY be feasible for Claudette or Dwight to lose a perk because they are free, but Jeff is DLC content. You are paying for 3 perks, so you have to get 3 perks.

  • Basic: 65

    Intermediate: 235

    Advanced: 385

    Bonus: 150

    I got Living Catastrophe, yay.

My realm will be a full indoor temple map.

  • Then Dwight will have one less teachable, or Claudette will have one less teachable, or Jeff will have one less teachable. Then we would have to come up with new abilities for the other two reworked perks and not reducing the grind at all.

  • She is not only weak, but even after her hits got fixed, she still makes so little BP compared to other Killers. Reminds me of pre-buff Pig.

  • If people write after they DCed, it means they didnt actually DCed, they just left the match.

The Upgrade button takes you to the character's bloodweb. The Leave button takes you to the Survivor/Killer menu. Not exactly the same, but certainly similar.

  • I feel Premonition and Spine Chill are perfectly fine where they currently are. They are may be under used, but they do what they do excellently.

Autodidact should just flat out increase skillcheck chances while healing others. Thats all it needs.

No Mither is mostly fine however. I would probably just add a BP bonus somewhere, like Survival points. The whole point of it is so you can actually make use of TINH and Resilience.

Dark Sense should trigger regardless of whether you completed the powered up generator or not. Like Poised does.

Up the Ante should be a flat 4% luck for all Survivors. No reason for it to get worse as people die. And it would still be a meh perk.

Vigil should be 50% recovery speed. 20% is a bit too low.

1 The disabling of the movement is only while holding M1, just so you don't accidentally move while doing the new skillchecks. If you let go of M1, you can move all you want.

2 I think death efficiency is necessary for good game balance, since even a super competent team wouldn't be able to keep everyone alive in this new version of the game.

3 I only reworked perks that NEEDED to be reworked due to the way I changed generators. You can check the wiki for the og versions.

4 Survivors still don't get nearly enough bloodpoints if all four escape and the killer was trying their darndest. A 4k as killer gets 28-32k bloodpoints, and an all 4 escape as survivor usually gets 22-26k bps.

Not enough points for what? Items and add-ons that you can get in-match and you dont really need to do well. Items you get to keep if you survive. Killers require a greater amount of BP to upkeep.

By making it so Survivors get as many points as Killler per match, you are basically saying "Why play a stressful and more resource demanding match, when I could get the same amount of points by going into a match easy mode with less resources consumed?".

That said, I am all for, for example, reworking the Survival category so its not just escaping vs not escaping. However, Killers need higher point gain because its an incentive by itself. We dont currently need more incentives to play Survivor.

  • My notes:

    - The idea for generators looks decent. I kind of dislike the idea of disabling movement speed keys during minigames. I certainly wouldnt mind new skillchecks, but dedicating entire "minigames" to skillchecks is kind of... unnecessary.

    - I dont consider "Death Efficiency" a problem, so theres that...

    - Most of your reworked perks dont seem to be different. Could you bold the differences or straight up say what has changed?

    - I kind of dont agree BP gain should be the same for both sides. Once again, Survivors get less BP per match, but because they can queue up straight away after death, that allows them to get more BP per hour. If as SWF you have to wait for your mates, then tough #########.

There is also the fact that just "being the Killer" alone isnt enough incentive to play Killer. Its stressful, way more stressful than Survivor. You should be rewarded accordingly for that, and earning more BP is what fuels a great deal of people to play Killer.

All other points, I find fine or feel indifferent towards.

  • I dont know. Legion would probably apply Deep Wounds on Ash, moonwalk, Ash gets downed and hooked and dead. GGEZ.

  • "Tile" is a segment of the map. Whenever you load into a map, tiles load randomly (but respecting certain rules) and thats what causes maps to vary each time you load in. Each tile usually holds a specific structure, like a jungle gym, a building, debris with pallets, hills, etc.

The best sample is probably The Game map, where each individual room is a specific tile.

  • I wouldnt refund any. All the ones I bought either got better or I got all that I needed from them.

Probably the only thing I regret is not buying the Shattered Bloodline DLC, and having unlocked Spirit with Shards.

  • I rotate between Spirit (when I want to feel OP), Clown (when I want to make Survivors feel oppressed) and Legion (when I want to farm BP). Sometimes Freddy just for dailies and Pig when I want to screw around.

Spirit: BBQ, Devour Hope, PGTW and Sloppy Butcher. Sometimes Stridor. I want to try Nurse's Calling and Surveillance on her, but no luck with Bloodwebs.

Clown: BBQ, Bamboozle. Rotate between Sloppy Butcher, Devour Hope, PGTW, Ruin, STBFL, Spirit Fury and Enduring, Discordance.

Legion: BBQ, Sloppy Butcher. Rotate between Discordance, PGTW, M&A.

Freddy: BBQ, Sloppy Butcher, Haunted Ground and Blood Warden. Lately I have been using Devour Hope instead of Haunted Ground, but it doesnt seem to work too well. Might try the Enduring + Spirit Fury combo on him.

So, yes, I use BBQ on all my Killers. Just because double BP is just so so juicy. And it synergies really well with Devour Hope, my second most favourite perk.

  • The best way to get a good visual representation is to get someone into KYF and ask them to stand somewhere and judge from there (either as Killer or Survivor).

I can try giving you a slightly accurate representation though. If you are standing in the outskirts of the Ormond map (not the side with the Killer Shack, the opposite one), and the Killer is standing in one of the side corridors of the lodge, thats around 32m.

  • I never understood why they called them Victory Cube if they were circles. :/

  • Speaking of Trapper, I realised something. If the Survivor has MoM active, runs into a trap and gets hit by the Trapper, does that get rid of the endurance effect? Extremely situational, but it would be hilarious.

  • @exordiumexodus1 The hell does that have anything to do with the topic at hand?

  • @Peanits Its fine if you dont ban for it, but game mechanics NEED to be adjusted so it doesnt happen.

  • There was this one time it was a Leatherface in Grim Pantry. He was death-hooking the last Survivor alive except for me, so I hid inside a locker to prevent BBQ. After waiting out, I exit the locker and find out he was running Iron Maiden.

I panic, and hear the heart beat approaching towards me. I was hiding in one of those lockers in the main pantry where the crow bomb is. Fortunately, the hatch spawned right in that room in the middle where the basement can spawn. I escaped.

If you want to hear my unluckiest match, it was one against a Huntress in Yamaoka Estate. I did ALL the work. I got chased, did most of the generators and saved most hooked people. I even pulled some memorable Iron Will jukes. I was getting healed on the exit gate by these two randoms.

The Huntress comes and downs me with a hatchet. The other two not only didnt block that hatchet, they ran off and left me behind, inches/centimetres away from the escape barrier. So, I get picked up and hooked... and died. Even after not escaping, I got more BP than everyone else.

  • It has taught me that rubbing someone's back will cure them from getting stabbed, cut (just as much as doing it with a chainsaw), clubbed and penetrated with a meat hook or bear trap. The only exception being from getting puked on by a sack of rotting flesh.

  • I think they should remove the CD (and varying the duration based on the tiers). That way, you can hook the Obsession and make it work with BBQ. Plague, in the current state of the perk, is the only Killer which can actually pull this off.

  • Quentin and Spirit are P3-50. Clown is P2. Legion and Kate are P1.

My current focus is to get Clown to P3. Then Kate. Then Legion. However, I will still wait a bit on Legion because I would like to unlock some teachables first. Kate is barely level 15, so mostly crappy perks.

Once those are done, I will consider doing it for Feng, Doctor and Plague (hopefully buffed by then).

  • Give it stacks based on healing others and we are golden.

  • So, tell me, Mr @OGlilSPOOK20, if Exposed effect is the true counter, then how do you trigger it exactly? Perks that require hooks in the first place? Hex perks that can sometimes only last a few seconds? Playing only 4 Killers out of 15 others? Using ultra rare add-ons every single game?

Do you see how unreasonable that is?

  • When Im feeling friendly, I play Freddy, equip Rancor, pretend I dont know how to pull people into Dream World, follow my Obsession around and kill them once gates are powered...

Hint: The friendly part is letting the other 3 Survivors escape.

  • @Someissues said:

I will show proof that I am a Killer main in a sec

Whether you play Killer or Survivor more doesnt magically make others believe in your stance if they disagree with it.

  • So that you know you are safe to taunt and teabag as soon as exit gates are powered?

  • If having all Hex perks equipped doesnt spawn additional totems beyond the 5-per-map limit, I would LOVE have an uncleansable Devour Hope.

  • The fact that they are rare (or mostly ultra rare, to be precise) and pricey does matter. They are not meant to "make the fight balanced". They are meant to spice up gameplay. We have add-ons that greatly change the way you approach a Killer so that both the Killer themselves and Survivors have to make use of different strategies to spice up gameplay.

For instance, Clown with Redhead's Pinky Finger turns into a Hillbilly. A Huntress with Iridescent Head means you cant afford to get hit by her hatchets. A Spirit with Prayer Beads means you have to pay attention to your surroundings or tapping instead of holding.

What am I trying to say? Add Ons are strategy changers. They are meant to greatly boost your chances, otherwise why would you use them? Coincidentally, I wonder why stuff like Tattooed Finger or Amanda's Secret are not used oftenly. They are the weaker ultra rares but for that reason they arent worth the BP of getting them. They still change the way you play, but people only use them for meme builds.

Their rarity and BP price isnt just a justification of how powerful they are, but its also an incentive to make them powerful. Sometimes it works, others it doesnt (like the ones I listed above).

The fact that its rare to come across it is a very much valid point. In the last six months, I have only seen two Huntresses with Iridescent Heads, and in one of the two I escaped just fine. Moris, I have not been hit by one (as in killed by it) more than ten times either. Within that time frame, I have played several matches everyday. I have seen more Clowns and Plagues than Prayer Bead Spirits.

i misremembering what infectious fright does? Because 6 seconds of aura reading was in the perks ability.

was that changed and I missed the patch? (Now the description says location but it used to say aura and I remember during the ptb it revealing auras)

Originally, it was intended to show auras. But it was changed to location for the PTB, and the description was unintentionally left unchanged.

I like how absolutely every paranoid killer main over-exaggerates absolutely everything on here in absolutely every instance after absolutely every update.

I play 50/50 haven't had a problem with MoM while playing Wraith; if you guys really can't deal with a longer chase I don't know what to tell you.

On the survivor side I haven't had it activate yet because everyone's playing Billy, Legion Bubba or Nurse.

Whether Mettle is OP or not, its whatever, what everyone is mad about is the fact that Survivors keep getting second chance perks. It is frustrating. We finally got the cancer that was DS out of the way, because it was indeed bad design. Now, look, two weeks or so after that, we get another stupid second chance perk to take DS's place.

People arent raging just because of Mettle alone. People are annoyed because of accumulative bad decisions from the Devs. For some people, it started with Plague getting nerfed during its release. For others, earlier.

If you dont understand it, thats fine. But people are frustrated, and assuming they are over exaggerating just because QQ, well, maybe the issue lies somewhere that you cant see.

  • Just commenting because I love it when Hillbillies pull those hill saws.

  • Thanks for the laugh, lol.

  • Just so you know, there is a bug currently going around due to which you get randomly disconnected, and it shows that it was the Killer who DCed. I would assume the majority of the DCing comes from that, not actually DCing.

Second, I will dodge as much as I want. Survivors dont care about a Killer's fun, and realistically shouldnt. Likewise, I dont care about your fun either.

  • DS should have stayed as a 3 sec stun and Enduring should have still affected it. Change my mind.

  • I dont have interesting stories for achievements, but I did get both Shock Therapy (complete the generator on the second floor of the Asylum) and Hemophobia (escape without being injured) in a single match because my team mates were asses and DCed when they got caught. The Killer let me complete a generator on the side and left me to get the hatch.

Anyone else notice the big 3 meter gaps in scratch marks when the killer isn't using Predator? Seriously, the video made it painfully apparent to me, and it seems like vanilla scratch marks are inconsistent as hell now, which is infuriatingly bad for killers trying to track running survivors.

I think they specifically made that segment to cover lagging Survivors and how that affects scratchmarks and how its unintentionally fixed by Predator.

  • Just so its clear, Spirit wasnt nerfed intentionally. That is a bug that appeared with the last patch. Sometimes, while beginning her phase (fully charging it), she will produce a loud glass breaking sound that Survivors can hear. It also happens when she vaults.

  • "We find adding anything to The Plague's power will result in it being too oppressive for Survivors."

  • If you only have those two options, go for Legion first. Discordance is a pretty nice perk, and Legion by itself is the BEST BP farmer in the game. If its a good game, you will cap in every category, if it is a less good one, you will always end up with at least 25k to 28k BP.

Plague is fun to play and has maybe more useful perks than Legion, but she is currently the worst BP Killer farmer (might change in the future, but thats her current state). She also gets genrushed really easily. Legion, while suffers in terms of lethality, can slow down the game a lot more easily and reliably.

  • Wouldnt be too difficult to believe. As SWF, you are less likely to pay attention to your surroundings because of voice chat. :P

Would be a better solution than the current shrine. One reason more to do it lol, the shrine is more useless than #########.

I bought Hag cuz I wanted her perks. But I disliked her playstyle, it don't fit to me and it's unfun for me. But I keep getting dailies for Hag. Today I got the ultra rare "by your hands" daily with 60k BP for Hag and I was like "oh ffs.."

I wish I could just delete Hag from my list.

Well, what about getting Trapper, Wraith or Hillbilly dailies? Not only I dont play those Killers (because I dislike them), but they also have lower earnings than others. Your problem is with daily rituals, not with refunding/unlocking characters.

If you cant or dont want to complete them, just discard them or leave them for the following day. Most are so easy to complete I really doubt it will take you 4 whole days to do it.

  • But what if you unlock a certain character, get their teachables, unlock them on other characters and attempt a refund?

There is also the fact that, why would you do that? I would maybe understand in the situation of trying out a Killer and not feeling it with their power. But Survivors, all the information you need is right in front of you. Check them out from the store and you will see their model as well as all cosmetics they have available.
