SWF isnt going to be nerfed, solos will be buffed to be more similar to SWF and then killers will be buffed accordingly.

I think Kenny would work better lore wise but I wouldn't mind Clementine.
Kenny or Lee both actually died so they would work better lore wise.
-
The only reason to hit someone on hook is to cut off the hook scream, theres no other in game benefit.
-
@blue4zion said:
I've heard before that this is intentional.
it also hinders survivors from seeing if the killer is coming their direction after hooking.
It is intentional, for the same reasons that chase music cant be disabled and makes it hard to hear survivors.

@PeepingPeacock Killer shack?
Lets talk about: Larry's instude (in middle of the map), The Game (probably the "funniest" map in this category), the temple of purgation, all maps that have 2 story building.
So, is the basement under the killershack still the only place where this problem can occur?
It happens all over the place, but one of the most common and visible places where it happens is the killer shack.
-
It takes forever to que as killer during blood point events because everyone is playing them. Play survivor and you will get ques near instantly.
-
That iron maiden change is a nerf.
You run it on nurse/billy so if people locker doge you, you one shot them. The aura reveal helps against people dodging your BBQ by revealing them anyways.
The only other killer that gets survivors going into lockers is doctor, and he would want the aura reveal more than the longer exposed.
Its honestly not that bad of a perk, its just really situational and only good on select few killers / with BBQ.
-
Its a shadow nerf to survivors that happened awhile ago, or it might be a bug. I dunno.
Makes the shroud of binding offering useless, even though it was bad to use in the first place.
-
@LastShoe said:
Lets face it... nurse needs many fixes... especially with accuracy on her range addons and fixing her damned verticality. If you happen to hit the very edge of the wall, instead of backing you 0.5m game can often put you on another floor.
It looks like you're trying to chase a survivor near the killer shack.
Would you like help blinking to the basement?
-
@dnj510 said:
Play killer during these events as you'll often get much more bloodpoints anyway.
Good luck getting a lobby, everyone and their mother has the same idea.
-
Is this your first 2x event?
Everyone knows that killer gets unplayable during events because everyone is trying to max out their blood points.
-
Its a double bloodpoint event, they always make killer ques very very long.
I'm jealous you're even getting 3 min ques, I'm a killer main and I have played nothing but survivor because my ques are so bad.
Wish they bumped up survivor BP gain to be around killers, so people just play roles they enjoy and not what gets them the most BP.
-
SWF isnt gonna get nerfed, its not gonna happen.
The best you can hope for is solo survivors are buffed to be around SWF in terms of information and every killer gets buffed to deal with that.
-
@Dehitay said:
I wish there was a way to turn off the chase music. You can barely hear anything over it which is wildly inconvenient.
That's intentional, same reason gen pop auras and hook auras block all your vision and are really annoying.
-
I'd rather they just got rid of mori offerings entirely and let the killer mori a survivor once they have hooked all survivors once and all survivors are alive. Survivors would always know when the killer has it and killers are rewarded for not camping or tunneling.
-
Its a great way to end a match
I'd be a fan of this, but I think most killers would still hook because it gives them more points. So you might only see the moris if the killer liked/disliked the survivor.
Most importantly everyone that isnt the spirit could do the mori daily without using an offering.

Because in any real situation of the game it does require you to work for it, you would get just as much benefit as the killer if that survivor was standing still and letting you hook them twice before their perk becomes effective.
That benefit is hardly game changing when you're already two hooks down and probably injured with MoM
How useful you consider that usage to be is irrelevant, you claimed that MOM requires work/effort to achieve. I have shown it does not.
This isn't deliverance or pharmacy. There is nothing involved in getting hit 3 times.

That doesn't bring anything to the discussion at all. If the survivor was afk and using it then of course they're going to get the stacks to use it, but then it will also be useless because they're afk
It proves your claim that
"It's a perk that requires you to work for it in order to pay off"
Is total nonsense. You could do literally nothing and still get a benefit from it.
-
You could be literally afk and still get MOM to activate, work for it my ass.
-
Considering Hag instantly loses against 4 flashlights and she'd have no way to know that was gonna happen, I'm gonna have to pass on this idea.
Plus not seeing items makes two killer perks worthless.
-
Nurse
Love the feeling of progression, always getting better.
Plus it reminds me of how fun blink was in Dishonored.

Tunneling, camping and slugging is toxic gameplay. So its basically your fault.
These words have lost all meaning
One person says tunneling and they mean the killer chasing one guy the entire game and ignoring everyone who gets in front of him. Another means the killer hit a guy that just got unhooked in front of them.
Someone says camping and they mean sitting next to the hooked survivor. Another person thinks they mean the killer is checking the gens and going back if they don't find anyone.
Slugging means downing survivors and never picking them up and having them bleed out. Unless it actually means downing someone, seeing someone else and then going to down the other person.

The Perk already has a massive downside to it and that is being able to see the survivor pretty much anywhere in the map once they heal up also it wont activate if you are fully healed and if you get one shotted its pointless so their is no need to change a fine anti tunneling perk however i agree that any hit by a killer (excluding certain ones such as plague which she can injure you without hitting) should give a stack
The perk has no downside, if you get downed after it activates you never reveal your aura, so its a instaheal if you don't escape that chase. If you do get a free escape off the back of that perk, just 99% heal and complete it when the killer finds you. Zero downside.
MOM has nothing to do with anti tunneling, unless you are a living meme and consider hitting a survivor 3 times to be tunneling.
Not surprised you think it should be buffed.
-
If sound was fixed it would be a bigger deal to be injured.
-
How long do we have to wait for nerf or at least some kind of repair for this overpowered killer ...
Not gonna happen, Nurse and Billy are not receiving changes anytime soon according to the community manager - https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/440638#Comment_440638
Thank god too, because neither of them need nerfs.
-
Yea dedicated servers are coming out in the near future so I wouldn't bother with MLGA because it will be obsolete.
-
Its mostly a worse version of Spine Chill, a buff to it would be nice.
-
I wish shadowborn still gave super-ultra-mega fov
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lMZEHl9IywDon't understand why that was nerfed. I'd love a buff on it, might make it worth running on killers not named nurse.
EDIT: Compare :21 to 1:00 to get an idea of how awsome shadowborn used to be.
-
Spine Chill changes how you play the game as survivor and I don't see it at all.
Save the best for last has plenty of people saying how good it is, but I rarely see anyone using it.
-
I want all the killers to have their own chase theme like Myers.
-
She already has a worse version of this, its just not documented very well / at all.
Every blink she does increases the length of her fatigue and the penalty is increased on attack. If a nurse blinks 5 times and hits someone she gets fatigued longer than a DS stun.
You should play Nurse to understand her better. Theres a lot of people that complain about her without realizing what it actually takes to play her.
-
Shes got good perks and shes fun to play. Just don't expect to do well and you'll enjoy yourself.

@PeepingPeacock Spirit and Huntress do not rely on addons. Idk about Hag but I suspect she doesn't either.
Huntress isn't addon reliant, but she does have a problem with her kit. Map choice has way too much of an impact on how good huntress can be for her to be balanced, which is why I had the slash for the two options.
Spirit is addon reliant at higher ranks, she does not do consistently well without some form of slippers or cooldown. Totally disregarding the obviously powerful stuff like prayer beads.
Hag requires teleport distance on some maps, you can take that as being add on reliant or as a base kit weakness.
-
Billy and Nurse are the only killers that can compete at the highest levels of play, so they get my vote for most balanced.
They are also the least reliant on add-ons and perks of all the killers in the game too, which is nice for diversity.
Spirit, Huntress and Hag are up there, but rely too much on addons/have too weak a base kit to be balanced.

Some of her Add Ons are getting reworked, don't know when though.
Personally I think nurse is fine as long as SWF is the way it is, Both are broken.
3 days ago they said there were no changes to nurse planned, so sounds like the add on rework was scraped or is on the back burner.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/440638#Comment_440638
But yea, as long as SWF exists in its current form, there should be no changes to nurse.
-
Fps is worse on console, and the controller isn't as precise as a mouse. Some people can make her work, but for the most part nurse is unplayable on console because of technical limitations.
-
Bait.
Anyone being serious about this would just say suvivors should have all the information available to them that other survivors know. Not list random ass perks that have nothing to do with the advantages SWF gives you.
-
Killer: Nurse, by far the most rewarding killer to play. Every game I play I feel like I'm learning something new or improving how I play. Incredibly satisfying to do well on.
Survivor: Claudette has all the good perks I want while I try and level everyone so I can unlock all the teachables.
-
I think a lot of people that defend mettle of man don't understand how its drawback works
If mettle of man activates and you go into the dying state, the aura reading can never go active.
That means the only time mettle of man has a drawback is when it gives you a free escape and are dumb enough to not 99% heal.
If you get the mettle of man hit protection, and they down you later in that chase, mettle of man has no drawback. You can heal to full as soon as someone picks you up, or you get off a hook.
Considering you can just 99% heal as well, mettle of man does not have a drawback, its a free hit for every survivor. Its brokenly overpowered.
-
Just like every other killer, if nurse is right next to you, you're gonna get hit. Nothing you can do about it at that point.
However, that's assuming you're just out in the open. If she needs to short blink through a wall and has no line of sight on you, you can try and 50/50 mind game it.

@SyN I've never seen anyone hate on Tru3..?
Its mostly on plebbit, people there REALLY dislike him.
Tru3 never even attempts to 360 the killer as survivor so he gets hit in places where he coulda juked but other than that hes a pretty solid survivor. I'd go for another streamer for good survivor play though honestly. I suppose one good thing Tru3 has that others don't do as often is talking about his game plan mid game, but even that is kinda uncommon.
I do love that he has the youtube channel for his games, that's awesome for getting survivor play against specific killers right away.
I wish Blu3Burn had someway of watching his play, he plays really well and seems like a fun guy.

How so? I just seen it on the stream and was like waaaah lol
With dedicated servers killers go from zero ping to having to deal with latency, which is a nerf for all killers and a really big nerf for huntress and nurse specifically.
-
If the ptb change where MOM affects Nurse goes through and MOM receives no nerfs or changes, I would expect 90% of people in high ranks to run it. Billy gets forced to m1 on some vaults and loops. Huntress is really the only killer in the game that can play around it because the hatchet-hit combo 3 times without healing is deathhook without proc'ing MOM.

No dice.
But to be real for a second, we don't have any plans to touch the Nurse or the Hillbilly at this time.
Oh that's so wonderful to hear. I get nervous with all the people saying they are gonna be nerfed all the time.
-
Nurse and Billy are the only killers that are viable at high ranks without ruin. If survivors wanna get gens done fast and know how to do it, there's really nothing you can do about it but play as well as you can. You cant be everywhere at once and being outnumbered 4 to 1 means some gens are gonna go.
-
Like pretty much everything it varies
Hell sometimes you don't want to complete a gen you otherwise could because it would 3 gen you.Or you don't take the time to kill someone as killer because it would cost you a critical objective.
Those are the primary objectives of the game and sometimes you want to ignore them, so I'd just disregard someone if they say something is ALWAYS a bad stratagy.
-
Spine Chill
I feel naked without it
-
I get why they did it, and I know its not possible to check everyone's games to see if they used the glitch to be a dick or not. But it is lame they are banning people that did it before the announcement.
A 24 hour break for dbd isn't gonna kill me though, so its not like its the end of the world or anything.
-
Also I did this glitch before there was the announcement about it, so it looks like you get banned regardless of when the announcement was released.
-
Some of the changes are obviously bad, I don't need to play the ptb to know that the left behind and remember me changes are stupid.
