Prayer beads was never scary. Just frustrating and unfair.
It was unfair but it did make you jump when it came out of nowhere. The map wide sounds are just going to be annoying.
-
When I'm at rank 1 360's hardly ever work. It's only the boosted killers that fall for them.

They could have taken advantage of the Undetectable effect and given her a few seconds of that Post Phase, keep the sneaky aspect without gutting it. This is kind of like Freddy's add-on where all Gens spew blood.
I really like this idea, hopefully a change like this would be considered.
-
Camping works against really altruistic teams. In these cases Bubba is the strongest killer in the game as they will either all go down or do nothing trying to get the save.
-
It's made it easier to catch killers out with sabotaging hooks. They always go for the event hook even if it's a bit further so easy to predict.
-
That might be why, when I'm playing with all red ranks we get games quicker than when I'm with all different
-
What rank are you all? We find games slower when it's mixed ranks.
-
I find playing killer pretty boring. It's more intense to be chased than do the chasing.
-
I was looking forward to the pass and planned to pay for the premium but when I saw what you could unlock it didn't feel very premium. Apart from the charms the majority of stuff is just old cosmetics with new colours. I like the archives but the rift doesn't really feel worth it to me.
-
Solo is a pain at the moment but proximity voice chat would make it worse. I'm happy in my own little bubble and only want to chat if I'm playing with friends.

Thaks to all of you for the answers.
I understand and you guys have a point but still: we have the choice to not to join the voice chat in order to don't be bother by screamers, teachers, troll... And you are right sometimes they can be annoying!
From and atmosphere point of view yes, indeed alone with no way to communicate is more immersive and challenging... So I do agree that a chat will ruin something in the game.
But as someone says here: why not a lobby chat during the 60 seconds before the match. Like being all together around the fire camp trying to figure out a strategy before the massacre begin. I wouldn't mind that
A lot of people invite the other survivors to party's or chats if they want to play like this, on ps4 they do anyway.
Proximity chat is just awful, F13th was a toxic nightmare and I'd bet it would be even worse in this.
-
It would ruin what little atmosphere the game has left. Being stuck listening to kids or people telling me how to play. I do not want to listen to another survivor repeatedly tell me to unhook them or a killer cry about being looped.
-
Me and my ex had a messy divorce. We spent months fighting over who gets the kids. Eventually I won and she had to have them.
-
I'd rather just play normally. BPs usually mean toxicity from my experience, I never use them unless it's a killer or survivors I know.

Know i stubbed my toe a few weeks ago under the door, i mean somethings up with it...but i am guessing such bruising takes a while to heal...
Probably is broken, toes are the worst for it

i have never broken anything (cross fingers) my step sis fractured her ankle in 3 places, you should of seen the height she fell from! it was like a few steps
@Mushwin it's surprising how easy it is to break something. You can break a bone just by tripping over.
-
Broke my spine 9 years ago and it still gives me pains now ๐
-
Gideon is my favourite map for survivor. The looping is unreal on it if you plan it out.
-
Tru3ta1ent has always been a bit overrated, he isn't really up there with the best killers.
Gen rush is real but making gens take longer will just make playing survivor unbearable. Try a second objective to actually make it interesting.

It's confirmed 2 seperate survivors. The number of perks doesn't matter, but what they do.
Very true however I would like some perks that shake things up a bit and offer alternative playstyles for both sides.
-
@ฮฒLAKE said:
I have a feeling that the new survivors will have two shared perks and one unique perk each. Therefore, making it 3 new perks for the two survivors.
That would be a good way to do it.
-
@deadbyhitbox for good survivors and squads. Lower ranks yeah she is OP af.
-
Spirit is probably the most balanced killer. If you don't learn how to play her she is a bad pick but for the people that master her she is probably the closest to nurse level. Prayer beads are not an issue if you run spine chill and you just have to win mind games with her when she is teleporting.
-
I bought Ash because I'm a massive Evil Dead fan. Mettle of man was a good perk but it wasn't worth the price tag.
-
As long as you don't DC you are fine. If they start banning people for playing bad that will be most of the players gone.
-
At the moment me and my girlfriend play in stupid ways when the game triggers us. If the killer approaches we stop what we are doing, crouch and look up at them. You would be surprised at the hilarious results this provides and we have made friends with a few killers doing this.
Sometimes I play pig and just follow people around crouched and oinking. There is nothing more satisfying than sneaking up on a low rank survivor and oinking right next to them. You can almost hear them jump ๐
-
It should just give you a small gen fixing boost everytime a survivor dies. The perk is actually useless.
-
The only time I go toxic with a killer is if they start hitting me on hook face camping. Then I turn into a horrible toxic try hard and ruin the killers day. There is toxic on both sides there are just more survivors.

Practice first of all. Just work on perfecting your blinks until sensitivity starts to be the main problem. Sensitivity is the main problem with Nurse and you need to be able to react really well to survivor movements after a blink because of how low sens is on console. They do a certain thing you have to counter their movements well. Don't try to play a guessing game with your swings as you'll never improve. It's really hard because of the low sens and I really wish that the devs would allow console players to turn up the sensitivity. The only option to skip how steep the learning curve is on console because of sens on Nurse is to do something I don't agree with buy a K&M since it is compatible with this game.
@KillermainBTWm8 yeah the turning is really difficult, especially if it's not in the open. She has been practicing the blink distance for a few days on me and has got it down pretty good. I thought a K&M was classed as cheating with console?
-
DC = win
Seriously though I normally kill myself on hook when it is looking pretty helpless or my friend is already dead. You need a pretty good team to face a good nurse and that is rare playing with randoms.
-
Balanced landing can be situational. It's op on Haddon field and the game but any other map it's pretty fair.

@GrootDude I will remember that, similar to the trappers trap hit box?

Slam all the pallets you encounter while out of a chase and then ignore any you aren't sure are real when in a chase. This way his Dream Pallet add-on is useless. :^)

Hillbilly has map pressure but he is not actually that good up close. You can loop a hillbilly around a small rock if he insists on using the chainsaw.

Pretty sure it is mostly swf gaps, but we are still waiting for dedicated servers XD
@Ember_Hunter they need to hurry up ๐
-
I have never bothered with them as they only give me killer challenges ๐ hopefully the pass and archives give a bit more motivation
-
It shouldn't be to harsh for a one off if your power cuts out or a serious emergency buy if you disconnect twice or more it is your own fault.

@RoKrueger said:
I think he should have aura reading from survivors that stay in the dream world for too long or those survivors should have repair speed penalty after beeing too much time sleeped. Something to compel them to wake up
@RoKrueger I agrre with you there. It shouldn't be instant otherwise it will just create another legion situation everytime he hits you but I am up for effects over time. Slow down, aura reading maybe even 1 hit down if you are asleep for a long time.

@Tsulan said:
Wait, so you even think that killers get more points than survivors WHEN the killer queues are long?
I really miss that LoL button...
@Tsulan the killer wait times have recently increased. I'd imagine this is one of the reasons they introduce this now. Earlier in the year it was survivors waiting 10-20 minutes for a game and probably longer if you include lobby dodging.
How many bloodpoints you get is based around how you play though. If a killer camps/tunnels they normally get less depending on how altruistic a team is and how quickly people do gens. Survivors tend to get less if they just do gens and leave.
The BBQC is pretty much a meta killer perk which is beneficial to bring. If anyone brings WGLF I automatically assume they are a prick who is going to farm me instantly and they normally do.
-
Solo is unbearable sometimes. I'd say more than half of my escapes are through hatch when I'm playing as randoms seem to like being on hooks.
-
Sprint burst is broken now? They need to stop breaking perks ๐

@Hag.is.Dtier I will check it out, it's really rare to see the god level Freddy mains.
@killermain6@KillermainBTWm8 6I'm sure people will adapt. He sounds a lot better but we won't know till people try him. Hopefully it will go from "Oh good it's a freddy" to "Oh ######### it's a Freddy"
*won't let me delete the wrong tag ๐

If you think it's a little bit then you don't play him enough.
@Hag.is.Dtier nope, I mainly play survivor. If I do play killer it's either to learn how to counter them or just for fun. I've never really been slowed that much by freddy though.

That's not the case. Even if you had 2 games in one, if one of them is casual and one is competitive, it should be entirely obvious that you balance around the competitive side.
@Dehitay when I say 2 different games I mean 1 game is playing killer and the other is playing survivor. It's not a just a killing simulator or a surviving one.
-
@NoShinyPony said:
It's a competitive game that needs to get balanced better. DbD is very entertaining to play + watch and has immense potential to be even more successful, if balance, ranking + matchmaking system would get improved.
For any game, I think putting too much focus on the "casual" side is not a good decision. Very skilled top-rank players whose matches are balanced, fair + exciting to watch (regular streams or tournaments) will help increase a game's popularity.
Also casual players aren't the ones who promote the game to their friends, spend a lot of money etc.
@NoShinyPony the problem with the game around high skill players is do you balance it around the killers, solo survivor or SWF?
-
Not gonna lie, a lot of people would DC just to see it. I'd probably do it at least once ๐
-
I'd say it's competitive for mostly the high ranks and more casual fun in the low ranks. Games like this are hard to balance as its 2 different games in one.
