Cool story bro
-
Its pretty bad, not nearly as poofy as it used to be.

well so far its given them 3k and 4k with very little 2/1/0ks i my case
Low rank survivors aren't good enough with gens to punish camps and tunnels, you could facecamp every kill in low ranks because they crouch walk around the hook instead of going to a gen. In the games I've been in if I don't get another survivor that knows how to run the killer, I get chased for 3 mins and nothing gets done. Its really annoying and makes me hate rank reset.

On reset it's rather high rank killers who just wanna spoil and destroy the fun for new and unexperienced players.
They don't need to tunnel or camp to do that though, ruin alone wrecks bad survivors. From the profiles I've seen its been low rank killers using these strats. Could be different for you, but that's my experience.
-
Flashlights are the single most powerful thing in the game against hag, not even close to useless.
-
Its rank reset
Low rank killers don't realize that camping and tunneling lose them the game
-
Killer takes a long time to que in low ranks because more people play them at those ranks, as you go up in ranks killer ques get shorter. So when rank resets happen it takes awhile for things to improve.
-
I dont think theirs a name for it, but it used to be a pretty common move to counter DS when you could still juggle it.
-
Dead hard is the best overall but it takes practice to use well
Balanced landing breaks some maps, while being near useless on others
-
Nurse is fine, no rework needed.
-
Shadowborn - increase the FOV to pre nerf values, once upon a time near the start of dbd shadowborn was a crazy good perk, but those times are long since past.

To be honest, I would die if my game looked like that.
It literally looks like you're playing one of those pixelated horror games that were super popular a few years back.
Better than not being able to play at all
-
Not gonna lie, thought this was calling for a nerf to a bad perk at first.
Good idea.
-
Depends on how survivors play
Sometimes I'll cut them some slack after a guy d/cs as soon as I look at him at 5 gens
Other times If I eat through 3 moms and some guy rage quits second down after popping an instaheal at 3-2 gens, I'm gonna do what I want everyone in the game to do. Play the game.
As a general rule of thumb though, I mostly give out hatch/gate at the end of a d/c game, even if I didn't go easy on them after the d/c.
-
The problem is gen times, nothing wrong with adren it does nothing until the very end of the game.
-
Theres nothing to fix, there are not enough survivors queing to fill the lobby's of all the people playing killer. If you que survivor you're gonna get instant lobby's because of how many killers there are.
-
They actually changed his mori too so he doesn't use the flip phone anymore. Lame.

Shut up, you probably use NOED you noob.
And of course you have no sympathy, you're most likely a killer main.
And I'm sorry, since when is Borrowed Time bad? Let me guess, your scrub Lord is also a tunneller.
Let me take another guess, yOu hAtE dS too right?
Let me take another guess, when people say nErF NoEd, you say "dOnt gEt caUghT hew hewwww" but ######### about Claudettes camo.
Pathetix.
yikes, all that for a shitpost?
Those hooks are still further than they were previously, you could get them literally 4 seconds of walking away. Theres not much they can do about this because if they spread the hooks too far sabo goes back in the meta and they dont want that.
-
@Elegant said:
Disconnects are just going to be replaced with immediate suicides. It's not going to change the game as much as you think it is.
Most of the people that d/c in my games seem to have this weird compulsion to not want to let the killer death hook them / dc when they mess up. So while I think suicides will replace some d/cs, it wont be nearly as big of a problem.
-
Whoever gave that one guy a crown for a week, that was fun.
-
The consensus around here seems to be that nurse is broken and unbeatable.
1. Nurse is by far the most common killer at red ranks, with experienced players picking her
2. Red rank survivors have a higher survival rate then everyone else
3. ???
4. Nurse OP
The devs themselves have said nurse is fine and no changes to her are going to be made in the foreseeable future and none of the data the devs give out shows nurse being OP.
@Peanits said:
No dice.
But to be real for a second, we don't have any plans to touch the Nurse or the Hillbilly at this time.
Just people getting assblasted by nurse, that don't know what to do vs her being salty.

@Milo said:
Wait what do you mean by "penalize a killer's pips if someone uses DS on them"?
I forget which one of the emblems it is, but it gets a pretty heavy penalty for people escaping your grasp. Its probably such a large penalty because letting a survivor wiggle out of your grasp is a pretty big fail, and they just forgot to adjust the number after they added a survivor perk that lets them escape without the killer messing up.
Depending on how many people run DS and how they use it, you could derank/safety instead of ranking up if they lower the emblem from iridescent or gold.
-
It was good when there was no sound occlusion, but now with messed up sound its pretty much worthless.
-
Bug fixes
Most importantly fixed sounds and the really annoying grab bugs where you get frozen in place and the survivor runs off.
-
People only ever run dying light with a mori, perk is garbo and was never good.
-
Unironically the best perk in the game

The devs for some reason think being the obsession is a downside to the survivors. Bar the killer just happening to be running a couple specific perks it has no downsides. Not to mention those couple perks aren't meta and very rarely ran in the first place. It does need an actually downside at base as there isn't really anything negative about being the obsession currently.
If ANYTHING I'd even say there's actually more positives to being the obsession.
Being the obsession is a positive in like 90% of the games people will play. Simply because everyone will know when you're in a chase or not because of the spider legs. Plus -
Almost all the survivor obsession perks are amazing. Only bad one is Sole Survivor.
Almost all the killer obsession perks are bad. Only good one is save the best for last, and that actually makes it safer to be the obsession.
There needs to be a good killer perk that punishes people for being the obsession for it to be a scary thing. Or something else that would make someone not want to be the obsession. Currently its just a bonus and good to have one on the team so you get that extra information.
-
@Blueberry said:
It's same reason the survivors DC. Neither side cares about the points, they just want to feel like the winner.
Yep, camping is gonna lose you the game unless people are hovering around the hook.
The killer just doesn't care, they want to kill that one person for whatever reason and are fine with throwing the game out of spite.
-
If its more than 1 flashlight in lobby you really shouldn't be playing hag.
If you must play her, use franklins and trap the flashlight when they drop it, because they will 100% go back for it. Its not a counter, but it will help.

Your completely unaware as to how SWF abuse DS to get free unhooks aren't you.
Incorrect, I face them all the time abusing this. I just slug the unhooker, slug the unhooked and go to a Surveillance proc to get my 3rd guy. It has counterplay, it can be worked around.
If you seriously think it's bad now, then I don't think you fully understood what it was like before.
Fair enough, I agree that If you assume they have it (and its easy to tell because they tend to play like morons with it) and just slug both without picking them up. You completely mess them up and probably win the game.
I just personally think DS shouldn't encourage lame play by the killer that's unfun for everyone involved and should be changed so that killers wont be punished for playing fairly and not tunneling.

Wait where the hell did the rescuer having DS come from?!?! Also whispers, surveillance, looking for crows, and brains let you know where survivors are if you choose to slug. By brains btw, I'm not insulting you I mean going to the most likely gen they're at.
Your completely unaware as to how SWF abuse DS to get free unhooks aren't you
You down somone, they get rescued, you down the rescuer and hook them.
Unhooked runs back and unhooks in for face, you dont tunnel and go for the person that made the bad save.
Get hit with DS for doing the exact opposite of tunneling.
This is what people are complaining about, and other ways you can abuse it. Its not an anti tunnel perk, its 60 seconds of immunity, and that's the problem people have with it.
-

@PeepingPeacock I never said camp them, I said slug. You can just walk across the map and down others. That creates a LOT of pressure itself. You should learn to understand it.
I love how you want me to understand something when you don't even know why people slug. Nice high horse.
You said sluging and counting to 60 was a counter to DS abuse and its clearly not so you're trying to walk that back.
You dont just randomly down someone and leave them on the ground for no reason, that's stupid. You slug when you know where another survivor is and you can down them. Guess what, if you let the unhooked go and head after the rescuer, get DS'd and then down them again, you wont have clue where the other survivors are unless they want you to know or they are bad at the game. Especially because the abuse of using DS for a free save on the rescuer is commonly done by SWF so they know where everyone is and wont lead the killer into their team.

@PeepingPeacock Slug, slug and slug. Or just get a stopwatch and count 60 seconds. I
Camp a moving guy for 60 seconds gaining nothing in the meantime and if you look away for half a second someone can one tap heal them. That's dumb and why people want it changed.
I guess some people that tunnel are salty about it, but all of the complaints I see against the perk are that it ######### over killers that are not even tunneling.
-
People want it nerfed because its not an anti tunneling perk, its 60 seconds of immunity after being unhooked.
You can do the exact opposite of tunneling and still get hit by DS. Its stupid and SWF abuse the hell out of that fact.
-
@drunky26 said:
Honestly, people complaining about current ds are just pathetic.
All you need to do is not be a dick and tunnel someone straight off the hook. Simple isn't it?
I agree on MoM though. Looking forward to its rework.
Guy with DS gets downed and you hook him, gets rescued by a guy and you down the rescuer and let the DS go. You hook the person that unhooked the DS user, the DS user runs back and unhooks in front of your face, you down him and let the hooked go like last time.
Get slapped with DS for doing the exact opposite of tunneling.
That's not tunneling, but it is bullshit.
-
the hatch shouldnt appear for the survivors until 1 person left or 1 gen is left, too many times i see a hatch camper see the killer hang someone and B line to the hatch as a ######### because it appears when theres 2 gens or more later
-
Survivor finds hatch first -> they instantly win
Killer finds hatch first -> survivor can still win, its just harder
But yea, that's totally one sided in the killers favor.
-
Thank you for compiling all this information, its extremely helpful to people that didn't watch the stream
Fervent Chase is what Simple Formula was in the leaks, they just changed the name. Upon hooking your obsession, gain a token. For every token that you gain, reduce 4 meters of your terror radius within a chase. The person who unhooks the obsession becomes the Obsession. Maximum tokens gained is 2/3/4 per tier. Could replace Monitor and Abuse
Fervent is never going to be used, let alone replace M&A, it does not lower your TR outside of chase like M&A. In the PTB it might be buffed to work outside of chase, but as it is now its a ton of work for little payoff.
-
Like decreasing movement speed while carrying a survivor or making the struggle effects even more prominent
If you don't want to read the thread, the gist of it is -
People don't want more second chance perks.
-
That obsession perk is some of the hottest garbage I have ever seen.
What a shame too, all they had to do was replace "chase" with "out of chase" and it would actually be a decent alternative to monitor and abuse.

I just want an exclusive that someone won't have after a couple of months :D Something to brag about.
I'm not interested in potentially screwing over every new player out of their favorite characters cool skins so that you can feel better about yourself. I hope the devs are not either. Limited skins are a big F*** you to everyone that didn't play the game before they even knew it existed.
-
Exclusives / limited skins or items are a horrible idea.
SMITE had this problem because the game is infested with them,
"Oh, whats that, you just started playing and found a skin you really like for your favorite character? Well F*** you, that was a limited time only thing 3 years ago, should'a got it then. No I dont want your money, I'm too busy stroking the egos of people who want limited skins."
Terrible system that has no place outside of stamp collecting.
-
Has anyone else been in the situation where the killer can death hook the next to last survivor and still have time to move half the map to the hatch (that hasn't opened yet) and stand there and wait for the hatch to open only to immediately close it.
No thanks, I hate it when killers slug for the 4 man.
-
As someone who grew up playing halo and call of duty on the xbox 360 I will never understand how people let some rando on the internet saying mean things about them affect them so deeply. Its not even in voice, its just typed words, sticks and stones. Actual children who get verbal abuse 10x worse than typed chat on call of duty care less about toxic behavior than you do and don't let it stop them from doing what they want to do.
-
It's a pain in the ass because it's incredibly killer sided
The killer got everyone else on your team and beat you to the hatch.
That situation should be killer favored.
-
I cant wait for those leaked pig cosmetics to come out
-
Freddy's perks suck and so does he.
-
However, the developers said she's going to get reworked one way or another
You cant be be wrong like that without proof, please link your claim because they said fairly recently that Nurse is completely fine and they have no plans to do anything to her.
@Peanits said:
No dice.

You do know I main Nurse on console, right?
No offense but I don't really care for whatever changes anyone invested in console Nurse wants, that's not real Nurse. Unsurprisingly, your suggestion would make her way less fun to play, gets rid of the uniqueness of needing your power to catch people and makes her more of a bog standard killer.
But she would be better on console. Gets the noggin jogging is all I'm saying.
-
The perk is worse than it used to be, and it got buffed. It needs a complete rework, as it is now, you would only ever use it for the adept achievement or in combination with no mirther for a "how terrible can my perks be" build.
-
Shadowborn is only good on Nurse and its pretty good too.
Unless you run nurses calling, then you run monitor and abuse like everyone else.

Like that. I'm the one in red up on the other side of the window. The killer comes from the ramp, slides along the hay and hits me at the window.
Not an exploit, but it does look weird as hell.
