Whats the justification behind the remember me nerf and the exit gate opening buff if they don't effect the endgame timer until a gate is actually opened?
-
Gotta love the bug fixes too
The mentioned mom on nurse nerf but also
"Fixed an issue that caused The Nurse and The Legion not to have Fatigued VFX on Low graphic settings."
woulda been nice to have a fix to spirits phase sound bug and seeing the red glow through walls. Or the buggy sound after they added occlusion. Or grabs bugging out and frezzing the killer in place.

Ruin is miles better than corrupt.
-
This is as exciting as getting socks for Christmas.
-
Nurse is gonna be a ######### to play with latency, same with huntress.
-
Make it protect against an instadown, makes sense with the ability name. More fair to the majority of killers and still makes it a good perk.
EDIT: You could have it block an instadown and if it hasnt blocked an instadown when a killer tries to mori you, it acts like a DS where it heals you, stuns them and gives you a chance to get away, then the perk gets used up. Thats not a OP perk and a bunch of people would want something like that.
-
You could use the entity visual effects to justify weird stuff that helps out unhooked survivors.like when you unhook a survivor they get teleported somewhere randomly on the map away from the killer or something like that.
Its a shame the unhooked pays such a huge price for a bad unhook and not the "rescuer." Unless the unhooker runs into the killer to give them a hit, the killer has no reason to bother with them and the only reason they would is to be nice.
-
Theres a running joke between leather face mains about face camping Jake everytime they find him for the cosmetic because he is so rare.
Claudettes the most popular for me, which makes sense because she is the best survivor and also free.

It removes hatch standoffs. That was the goal.
I wish it also got rid of slugging for the 4 man, hate that.
Zero intrest in being on the ground for 4 mins with little hope of rescue.

MoM is disgustingly overpowered and all the people claiming it has counters can only offer up playing specific killers when pressed to tell those counters. It has no counters, ANY killer could dribble with old DS, use enduring, or do the basement drop off. There is NOTHING you can do to stop MoM with a majority of the killers.
There is no downside whatsoever to the perk, if it activates and you go down in the same chase like you should have in the first place, the aura reading will never come into play. If you get a free escape off the perk, you can just 99% heal and then pop it when the killer has already found you. The only counter play the perk has is the survivor counter playing its own downsides.

I dunno about it being a wallpaper but I would consider this a great nurse drawing

The entitlement is strong with this one.
It would be completely pointless to hand out another legacy "reward". Look at the current ones - no one actually gives a ######### about people having them except the people who have them, and I promise you that the same ones like you who cried for them maybe 15% of them use their skins in 10% of their games (and that's a generous estimate).
I think more people would care about legacies if nurse wasn't the only good one.
But they all suck except hers so no one really gives a crap.
-
You could grab at healthy and look at your own feet?
Neat
-
DS is 60 sec immunity after being unhooked, has nothing to do with tunneling.
-
Regardless of how many tips you get its still gonna be a matter of grinding out games because nothing is gonna fast track getting blink timings burned into muscle memory.
The single most important thing to playing nurse is knowing how far your blinks will take you and you can only really learn that by playing a bunch of games.
But tips cant hurt so here's a few -
Don't try and learn nurse using addons, she does not need them and it will mess up your muscle memory
Have a mouse sensitivity high enough that you can turn 180 near instantly, people double back against the nurse a lot and if you overshoot you need to be able to lunge backwards right away to have any hope of hitting them.
You cant blink past hills, you need to aim your blink up to go ontop of them
If somone runs into you while you're charging your blink, blink to the floor and you will stay in place and get a hit onto people hugging you
Don't feel bad about blinking into the basement mid chase, even the best of us still do from time to time
-
She actually used to have autoaim on blinks but they got rid of it a long time ago.
But in that clip She just did a 180, you have to do that a ######### ton as nurse.
-
Its massive bullshit that if it procs on a unhook, it does not interrupt the survivor like hitting them normally would.

True - but at least the hatch standoff is gone now.
I wish slugging for the 4 man was gone too, its terrible to have to crawl around for 4 mins while you stare at some dude 5 miles away in a locker.
-
Hes the only top tier killer on PS4/Xbox, hard pass. Billy is fine.
If hes m1'ing people that means he can be looped.
-
Anything to lower the grind would be welcome, this would also get people playing survivor that enjoy it but feel compelled to play killer until they unlock a teachable or something.
-
Spirit is higher tier than hag, but somewhat addon reliant.
Hag is lower tier but still very strong, she has much less of a need for addons than Spirit but is also much more map dependent and gets shrekt by survive with friends.
I hear that on consoles hag teleports kill her framerate making it hard to get phantasm attacks, so if thats true i'd stick with spirit.
-
Wraith & Trapper are the only ones that have backstories bad enough to warrant a rewrite. Billy's is fine and the OG survivors also have pretty fine backstories.
-
If you're genrushing Adrenaline is really the only perk to pick
Prove Thyself is the only consistent perk for speeding up gens but if your genrushing you want a survivor on every gen and not multiple on one.
Spinechill, poised and all this other stuff people are recommending is more for a gen jocky build and not a gen rush one.
-
Perk is fine, gen speeds are the issue. Adrenalin is meta because survivors are getting better at always being on gens.
Sure its annoying to have someone tank a hit on the last gen because they know Adrenalin is gonna save them, but its not OP or anything like that.
-
womp womp
-
Not a fan of these changes, the gen auras is a big buff on indoor maps and also makes it near impossible for survivors to screw themselves by setting the killer up for a 3 gen.
The crawl speed buff makes slugging way worse and is much more of a nerf to killers than a buff to survivors.
Considering coordinated survivors are already the most powerful thing in the game im not really happy making any buffs to survivors that are not just closing the gap between solo players and swf.
Survivors seeing the aura of gens other survivors have seen or worked on is fine. Survivors getting a kindred like ability built in like the devs have suggested is fine. Survivors seeing whenever another survivor is in a chase even if they are not the ob is fine. survivors flat out moving faster is not.
-
People don't want to play the other killers because they suck, if more killers were Billy tier you'd see more variety.
As it is, if your good enough to play nurse and are okay with motion sickness, you play her. Otherwise you play Billy. Unless your not on PC, then you just play Billy.
-
Basically everyone that mains huntress uses a crosshair, its literally impossible to enforce not using one for her and really she should just get one as a base part of the game.
If your worried about outside programs giving an advantage in game you shouldn't be, its always going to be the case unless the game is fundamentally changed so that two people playing on pc and using the steam overlay to talk to each other does not give them an insane advantage over other players.
-
Whaattttt, common, let another killer be high tier for once
pls no nerfing the snoot.
Especially now that survivor pig has more meme potential with opening exit gates.
-
Spirit phasing directly through pallets would be insane. That's a big buff for a killer that is already high tier.
If you wanna buff spirit I would just ask for the bugged sound to be fixed instead.
-
I love how the intended game play for legion after this change would be
- use power and hit a survivor
- no one nearby because people are splitting up against legion like smart people
- instantly cancel your power because hitting them again with it is literally pointless and bad for you.
Oh I hit you while in my frenzy? Lemme just immediately take a chill pill even though I could hit you again easily.
That sounds like logical and fun game play. Not at all weirdly jarring and immersion breaking.
-
The medkit lasting longer without having to run ace in the hole or botany knowledge would be a very nice buff, only being able to heal one health state with the medkit keeps it from being an alternative to self care.
EDIT: Pharmacy is both funner to use and more difficult to pull off than self care so it would be nice if that was reflected in its power level.
-
It gets worse the higher up in ranks you go.
Its alright at the start, but I'd take adrenaline once gens start getting pop'd all the time and people are not crouching around the map.
-
This is a really great training tool for hitting skill checks and practicing against ruin.
-
"Why can't some people just accept that some killers have their limit"
Because People don't want to hear that the better they get with a low tier killer the worse they will do. Everyone wants to hear that by improving at something they will do better and not the opposite. This question may as well be "why cant people accept that they will be punished for doing well at something?"
-
Just giving more bloodpoints is a bit of a problem because it means that powerful items and addons become more common and easy to get for people that already have all the perks they want.
Really the issue is perks, they have to be easier to obtain because those are the things people want to grind for and take forever to get.

They reward people with their terrible rank system where you are expected to give survivors tons of extra chances. Sadly the further you get in ranked as killer the less fun the game becomes and they don't have any incentives to rank up.
If you consider staying at a low rank to be good then yea, camping is rewarding that by degrading the chaser emblem and causing lost games. With no rank rewards there's no reason to want to rank other than playing against better players, achievements, or bragging rights.
Another way to lower camping without rewarding killers, would be putting in the "free kindred" idea the devs had, so that every survivor would know when to do gens if the killer is camping. Thats a massive buff for solo survivors and pointless for SWF so some balance adjustments would have to be made but that would also work.
Its just pointless to "nerf" camping because its already the bad play to make and the people who do it don't care that they are losing by doing it. Everyone that's high rank will tell you that camping is bad unless survivors are swarming the hook. It's not something you want to be doing and by nerfing it you only open up survivors to abuse the killer around hooks, like the OP's change did when they tested it.
-
The best way to go about combating camping is rewarding the killer for getting away from the hook, people who camp are not gonna care about any penalties because it already loses them the game if the survivors don't throw themselves at the hook.
Its why camping killers are mostly salty or low ranked players that dont know any better and get rewarded for it because low rank survivors dont know any better either.
Killers with BBQ camp way less than everyone else without out it, and people with MYC also tunnel less because they get rewarded for it.
-
Hes already low tier, I wouldnt be suprised if he gets buffed but is just less annoying to play against.
-
I want addons that change the way the killer is played to be made into a separate load-out option when you play the killer, like mirror Myers or the one where hag cant teleport anymore without having to have rare addons every game. Then we could get rid of the "oh I spent a bunch of BP and you didnt so now I have a massive advantage" games and more consistent power for all the killers with balance tweaks for the different load-outs.
-
A bad nurse is like the easiest killer to win against, that or he was on something.
Judging by his perks, hes new to nurse, and trying to learn her at rank 1-2. Of course hes gonna get rekt.

Please elaborate more
The hatch massively favors survivors, its ez mode escape
If the hatch wasn't so survivor oriented killers wouldn't have to slug, but of course instead of fixing the hatch problem survivors should just get a massive buff instead.
-
If you're looking to rank up or used a BP booster, slug.
If you're not, don't bother.
-
I think spine-chill is one of the strongest perks in the game and depending on the map, the strongest. It just requires a different play style that many find boring.
-
It does not, it only affects the rarity of the base item.
So plunderers is good item
Ace in the hole is good addons
Plunders and ace is good item with good addons. Assuming you dont get unlucky.
-
Terrible idea, survivors would be encoruged to hide in lockers and not risk looking for the hatch.
-
With the sound changes making it near impossible to hear anyone seperated from you by a wall, stridor is basically pointless because you still cant hear them. If they changed it to revert the sound change I think it would be a solid perk.
-
I love how you think d/cing is sticking it to the killer when in reality killers love it because it means they get a kill on everyone else stress free. You even acknowledge that it gives them quitter points, ahahahah.
-
I don't blame people for using whats available to them to win a game in a competitive space.
I blame the makers of the game for putting such terribly balanced tools in the game.
