How do you counter short range blinks?

Title. I want to know how to counter this without using deadhard

    you can't. unless you can quickly turn around something. in many cases not a possibility and too little time also

    you really can't if you have nothing to run around even then the nurse still has a second blink.

    Just like every other killer, if nurse is right next to you, you're gonna get hit. Nothing you can do about it at that point.

    However, that's assuming you're just out in the open. If she needs to short blink through a wall and has no line of sight on you, you can try and 50/50 mind game it.

    Exactly. Remember if she is using a short blink (not through an object) she would have gotten a normal M1/R1 if she was a normal 115% speed killer anyway.

    Sometimes faking a double back will allow you to bait a swing. Example when you see a nurse change their power turn around and start to run towards the nurse for less then a step then spin back around and run the other way.
