Wow just wow
Shame that people think like this
Both the op and the haters
1. Claiming your gonna uninstall if it's not your character is childish
2. Pokeing at someone when they are disappointed is also childish
Maybe the dbd community is for kids :)
Still waiting for the uninstall as confirmed tho

I guess there funny because you can see a lot of random ######### from your team mates and killer but that gets old after while
Brown and yellow were for new people. Red is a fickle rank and purple was always where the most sweaty salty and toxic players are.
Green likes to party and have fun, you can't go wrong with green ranks.

To be fair green ranks have always been considered the hell zone where people get trapped until they learn how to be a bit more emblem efficient in game.
Green ranks were the best ranks idk wat you're talking about

I was playing Hag trying to get her adept on coldwind. I placed a trap in a specific spot in shack, foreseeing a chase leading there where I would need it later. Sure enough when I chase an injured person into the shack, they step on the trap. I teleport immediately, swing, and they pressed E to make the distance to shack pallet. I cannot think of any way they did anything to deserve getting that chase extended so much. No skill, no intelligent usage... The only thing they did was equip DH and press E. I strategically placed that trap there with the specific intent of using it, minutes ahead of time. It is so frustrating to make a good play and get ######### for it.
If you think DH is fine, please explain to me what this person actually did that was smart or skillful. It certainly wasn't pressing E. It looks to me like they just get free things by merit of having DH equipped.
Dead Hard is a B-tier exhaust perk. If you gave the survivor the opportunity to use it, it was a fair play.
They were already injured and the hag trap went off. For any survivor, this adds up to an immediate reactive use of DH on sight/sound of the hag trap going off. It was a totally fair play due to the sudden and possibly unexpected jump scare of the hag trap. It's a rare example where DH shines over Sprint Burst and Lithe.

Whatever you say. I'm not going to argue the point, that's not the purpose of this thread.
Not an argument, just facts. Dark Sense should be replaced by any other perk. It doesn't have any value. Good luck and good day.

Depends on what you use it for. Also, Monstrous Shrine is in the game - there is no weaker perk in the game.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2422789#Comment_2422789
I like niche perks for niche builds. I'm a casual player.
No way, dark sense is the weakest perk in the game. Monstrous shrine is effectively niche, as it hurts deliverance and forces survivors to unhook faster

As long as stuff like Sole Survivor, No Mither, Monstruous Shrine etc. is in game, a perk that shows the killer's aura after every gen and most notably, after the last one, is anything but the weakest.
Sole survivor is far more useful that dark sense, even without object. It's far more useful than dark sense as it prevents information.
No mither is a niche build, which means it has its place
Monstrous shrine is pretty weak...but dark sense is still weaker
There isn't anything dark sense does that any other perk can't do better. You get up to five intervals of information, and that's only if your team gets gens done. If your team gets axed off before you can complete a single generator, which does happen from time to time, you were better off with sole survivor.
Dark Sense serves no purpose of value, informing a player of information that was otherwise accessible without it. Not only that, but undetectable is a thing that worsens its value. Any other perk is significantly better than dark sense is in its current form.
If dark sense ignored undetectable, only then would it be remotely useful.
You're entitled to utilize your perk slot any way you want tho, the fact is that it's simply a waste to use dark sense.

Dark Sense is a powerful perk in the right hands.
I had AFK crows because the killer kept circling the locker for a prolonged period of time. As soon as I could, I tried to leave.
Alert is better. Kindred is better. Literally, dark sense is the weakest perk in the game.

I think the buff should be that you have to press E to activate it, like Diversion.

I'm not sure I even have that in the first place. Regardless, that's not the point of the build.
I don't understand because dark sense it pointless and the weakest perk in the game.
The killer was probably right given that you had afk crows and dark sense.

Items now lose all addons, even if unused and/or you escape - without Ace in the Hole equipped. You used to keep them. Made sense, considering you had to make it out alive, which isn’t a guarantee.
This was a sorely needed change. Since the game doesn't have a crafting system, add-ons became excessively overstocked, which was harmful to the bloodpoint economy.

You would disagree that they don't come from natural gameplay? You are entitled to that wrong opinion, I suppose.
The fact is that all achievements can be earned naturally by playing the character needed. By 10,000 hours, you should have mastered the game like with any skill. If you've played 13,000 hours and you don't have all the adepts, youre demonstrating ineptitude or actively ignoring the achievements.
I suppose ignorance is natural, then?

You need to equip the perks and go for it... It isn't really something that comes from natural gameplay. You could play 13,000 hours and not have all of them pretty easily.
Now if they spent all 1300 hours going for them, yeah, I guess that would be kind of sad. I highly doubt that, though.
I have 100% achievements in under 3000 hours, so I'd disagree

First hook jitters. Some people have really high expectations of themselves or they're emotionally committed to a "perfect" trial.
First hook sucks, it's true. Often, I've found I'll be the only one that escapes as a result of being hooked first. It comes down to how the dynamics develop. Don't let it get to you though, I've played games with a 3-man escape even with a fast hook or DC...it's really fulfilling to slam out a severely disproportionate trial and still result with a team escape

Hello class, welcome to Bad Perk University! I'll be your professor for today, and we'll be going over the worst perks The Entity has to offer and see how to make the most out of them. Today, we’re going to cover a rather situational perk that can safely be considered the anti bullying meme perk: Lightborn. Lightborn has a very straightforward effect. It makes you immune to blinding effects such as those from flashlights. In addition to that, the survivor who tried to blind you will have their aura revealed for 10 seconds.
So why is this perk bad? Simply put, the perk is completely dependent on survivors bringing a specific item, which is of course Flashlights. If they don’t have them, this perk does absolutely nothing for you. It’s a perk you have to bring when you see a flashlight in the lobby, or have the omniscience to know that a survivor is going to find a flashlight from a chest. The aura reveal part of the perk can be strong, 10 seconds is enough time to see the survivor run away and track them behind structures, but this only happens if the survivor attempts to blind you in the first place, after which they’ll stop trying to do after they realize you have this perk. Denying survivors of these items is strong, but once it happens, you’re essentially down a perk slot. It’s also worth noting that this perk does not help with Wraith’s and Nurse’s ancient mechanic of Lightburn, where shining a flashlight at Wraith’s body and Nurse’s eyes will stun Wraith out of invisibility and Nurse’s blink charge. Even then, that’s a somewhat niche interaction with Wraith, and when was the last time you Lightburned a Nurse?
So how do we make the most out of this perk? If this was the old version of Lightborn that only reduced the effect of blinding, I would have already binned this perk ages ago. But this is the new Lightborn in the current year, so there is still some merit in bringing the perk. We now have two survivor perks that revolve around blinding the Killer: Blast Mine and Flashbang. Lightborn soft counters Blast Mine and hard counters Flashbang. You’ll still be stunned by Blast Mine, but you can still see, and you’ll see the aura of the survivor that had the audacity to try and deny you of Pop Goes the Weasel. And I imagine you’ll really ruin the day of the survivor who tried to Flashbang you. These perks are common enough that if you see a survivor with a Flashlight in the lobby, chances are Blast Mine and/or Flashbang might also be in play. At the very least, bring Lightborn if you see a Jill or Leon in the lobby and they look new, I guarantee you will annoy them really fast. As far as synergies go, Lightborn unfortunately doesn’t have any, and if anything is weak about this perk, it’s that. Even the perk Nemesis doesn’t work since you need to actually be blinded for it to trigger, which Lightborn prevents. Starstruck might allow you to follow up a flashlight attempt with an instadown, but Starstruck itself heavily discourages survivors from trying such things, so probably not that either. This is a perk that is a lot like Franklin’s Demise, you use it when you see a particular item in the lobby that you don’t feel like dealing with, with the occasional opportunity to counter some perks as well.
Closing thoughts, how do we make this perk better? Trick question, we already have. I apologize that this lesson doesn’t really provide any new insight and revelations on using this perk effectively, but that’s only because this perk fills a particular niche and, honestly, does it pretty well. The current version of the perk may be a one time gimmick that smart survivors won’t try again once they know, but being unable to be blinded completely shuts down those options of altruism for survivors, which is at least something. I see it a bit like Deerstalker, not a common perk, but not necessarily bad at what it does. It’s just not a perk that everyone will use all the time, and that’s alright. So if the perk isn’t even that bad, why did I make a Bad Perk University post about it? Mostly because I didn’t want to make a separate series called “Underrated Perk University”, I already know which perks are underrated and should be given some love. This is about the BAD perks, the ones that most sensible players would avoid using at any cost. Perks like...Predator...oh god…
Thank you for coming to my lesson, see you next class!
You forgot about flashbangs and blast mine, in the intro, sir. Excellent overall series pls do more.

1.) Do you want to sweat every single time you play Dead by Daylight.
Camping is no sweat
2.) Do you want to Slug, Tunnel and Camp every Game. or be Slugged Camped and Tunneled
Proxy camping is a fundamental skill for higher ranked play
3.) Do you want to run the strongest perks in the game every game with little to no variety.
Camping perks are in no short supply
4.) Do you want to face teams who know how to loop properly and know how to abuse tiles to become timewasters or face the same for Survivors.
Once you hook one, just camp and you'll win
5.) Do you want 3-5 Minute games at max every game.
Yes, that's about how long camping takes to win
6.) Do you only want to play Nurse or Spirit to be consistent. Or face these two everygame
Nemesis is best camper; spirit is literally brain dead gameplay and nurses are fun on both sides
7.) Do you believe MMR can work in a game with no win condition as well as being unbalanced.
ELO is hell but it sure beats rank matchups
8.) Do you enjoy having your time limited within the game.
I pitched a tent...to camp out for awhile
9) Do you enjoy getting little to no bloodpoints at all.
Camping can easily achieve 30k+, I even got a couple 32k with nemesis recently
10.) Do you enjoy not being able to know your skill level at all.
Camping is for anyone and everyone
11.) Do you truly believe MMR is the only system possible to work in Dead by Daylight.
Naw, if it were up to me, I'd simply randomize matchups
12.) Do you enjoy not having as much fun as you use too playing with MMR on.
What?

Give clown his own zone and remove his clown ######### from nurses map.
Add Ghost face zone and maybe only one map for him until we get a proper scream chapter
Give twins, trickster and blight their own zones and two maps each; so many neon skins lately but no neon maps?
Every licensed zone gets a second map of unique design
Give Bill and Ash each zone and a single new map
Give cannibal a zone and a single new map
Re zoning existing maps is needed to balance map offerings/distribution.
