You're going to accuse someone else of having a persecution complex? Pot calling the kettle black much?

Edit: You can be banned from sending messages by playstation/xbox if you send offensive messages after a match. Nothing in game is effected though.
This is false. While console bans aren't a thing yet, reports are being logged and tallied, and people will be banned for what they did.
Implying console bans will ever actually be implemented. If it does there is no way they'll ban everyone who has broken rules before adding them. Especially DCs. Most of the community would be banned in that wave.
I'd sooner trust a developer's word about what will or won't be implemented than a random player's. At least the former has direct influence over what will be implemented.
The developers have never said they will retroactively ban players on console. Only that its being tracked. So you're trusting something you made up.
Y'know, now I'm not so sure. @Peanits, can you clear this up?

It should help them find out the source of the problem, but a switch to dedicated servers isn't a solution in and of itself.

Just have the filter automatically hold all comments containing any Chinese characters for review. Nobody else is using them.Every other language besides english is not allowed in general anyway, so I would suggest to automatically put threads in other languages up for a review
Not allowed? Since when?
Since the beginning, thats why we got other-language sections (which are not complete, I know)
It sounded like you just want to ban all languages besides English, which is both impossible to accomplish with an automated system and absurd.
Not bann, I suggested that they get put up for a review.
There is already a system doing that, scannign for specific words and holding back the thread until a mod takes a look at it. (or the forum might just be bugged, idk)
Here's the thing: there is no automated system in the world that can do that with any significant degree of precision, due to the prevalence of the Latin alphabet. That's not like blocking/identifying characters used exclusively in one language, such as what I suggested.
Google does a pretty good job with its free translation software, but of course they could take the approach to search for certain characters too
Google's translation software doesn't take into account typos, slang, texting, and a bunch of other stuff. It requires text that observes the grammatical and spelling rules of whatever language you're trying to translate from, and even then it misidentifies languages all the time. I've had it misidentify Latin as Afrikaans, for example. Furthermore, I'm not sure if you can even use it on this forum's spam filter.
As for your idea of identifying certain characters, as I've explained, that only works if the languages in question don't use the Latin alphabet. While there are many languages that don't use it, very few have many native speakers, and even fewer are used on this forum. Chinese is a unique situation in this case because the people you want to keep around don't use it, and the people you want to keep out use it almost exclusively.

DH must remain a hex perk, IMO. It'd be too powerful if the Killer could just keep getting stacks without any counterplay.

I don't believe that they actually said that. Why would any game dev implement mechanics which are annoying intentionally? They did say it. As I understand it, their philosophy is that losing should be annoying. While I think there's some truth to that and have even defended struggling as it is now, I've since changed my mind because of people who cannot play properly because of this.
This is not a matter of skill or willingness; some people physically can't struggle. It doesn't impact the game in any way if struggling is made easier for the sake of those with muscle and nerve disorders. This would be a QoL change. -

Then the person doing the giveaway dm's them the code back and takes it off the list/says it's claimed.
^This. Putting it on a public forum like this is just an invitation for spiders to steal everything.

Some people like to use that picture when someone claims to be a killer main but don't support buffs for killers only. Same goes for survivors, but i don't see it that often.
@Tzeentchling9 is known for being an extremely killer sided member. To the point that i basically ignore him/her.Yeah I know what the picture means, I just can't believe I'm being accused of pretending that I'm a killer main just because I want camping to be nerfed and the game to be improved. I don't get how some people can be so biased. I mean I'm even for a gen rush nerf, just camping and tunneling is a bigger problem of this game in my opinion. Getting camped means you can't even play properly.
Here's the thing: camping is already bad for the Killer unless the Survivors decide to reward it. This is an indisputable fact. With that in mind, punishing the Killer (and note that punishment doesn't work, period) is absurd.

Those calculations make zero sense. Read this thread, please: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/26495/psa-how-interaction-speed-reduction-calculations-workI don't get it. It looks like that's exactly the maths I used here on my post. Or where is the difference?
I get the same result when using the maths that I used on all the other numbers of my post on your example.I realized some of them were just a formatting issue. Specifically, you make calculations for healing using Self-Care and not using Self-Care in the same line without any obvious separation between the two.
However, these still don't make sense:
24% Repair Speed decrease: 80s/0.8 = 100s
12% Repair Speed decrease: 66.6s/0.9 = 74s (cause repair time is only 66.6 seconds once one survivor is dead)1-0.24 is 0.76; not 0.8. Similarly, 1-0.12 is 0.88. Maybe they were approximations, and if so, I'd advise against the former.

After all players ready up, it will still take 5 seconds for the trial to start loading. That part I get. But what I'm talking about is when all players are readied up it sits there for a while. Then a 59 second countdown starts. Then when the players are ready again it quickly reduces to 5 seconds. I don't get why people take so long to ready up.
Once there are 4 survivors in a lobby the game starts the 59 second count down. If all 4 survivors ready up before then the timer drops to 5 seconds. It seems like your frustrated that not everyone readies up once the lobby is full. The reason being is that some people want to make some last minute changes to their build, talk with the survivors via chatbox, spend some bloodpoints or even go take a piss before the game starts.
Why don't they do all that before they ready up? It's really annoying and time wasting.
How would they talk to other Survivors before they get into a lobby?
Sometimes you just remember a last-minute change you'd like to do to your build or realize you haven't spent all your BP yet. -

Well, there's also the bans for DCing, but those require an unspecified DC rate. So yeah, until this is fixed, you're either gonna have to put up with the exploit or stop playing. It's the same for every other exploit.

Two different things but alright. I suppose I can just go ahead and deem your response as irrelevant since you’re always standing up for killers. Are you not aware of the exploited bug a while back where any flashlight, regardless of quality or add-ons, would result in a white screen for the Killer in less than a second? Mechanically, they weren't blinded (no stun, they didn't drop any Survivors they might be carrying, nothing); it was just a visual thing on their side that made it impossible to do anything.
I'm not always standing up for Killers, and I don't know what you hope to accomplish by lying about that.

This procedure shouldn't get you banned so far from what i have seen people have been using it and i don't see a single thing about them coming back saying they have been banned for it.
You can't discuss bans on the forum. Threads like that usually get closed and/or deleted. Regardless, if EAC gets twitchy and triggers a ban because of those file modifications, you're [BAD WORD].
If that's the case then how come no one has come forward saying they have banned? So far it's only been people asking it they'll get banned for it.
Like I said, threads discussing bans usually get closed and/or deleted. Furthermore, it's just an "if". Nobody was banned for using a specific wiggle/struggle macro either, until they were.

After the killer closes the hatch, the match ends.
It counts as a kill for the killer and death for the survivor. Seems about as fair as it is right now for the killerExplain how.
If the Killer finds the hatch first, they have to abandon it immediately, lest the Survivor see them and figure out they found it. That's because hatch stand-offs favor the Survivor. If they abandon it, chances are the Survivor is gonna find it befire they can be downed and hooked.
If the Survivor finds the hatch first, they can either jump in immediately or force a stand-off. Stand-offs, as I mentioned above, favor the Survivor.
To summarize: at the moment, if the Killer finds the hatch first, they're at a disadvantage. If the Survivor finds the hatch first, the Killer is still at a disadvantage. If the Killer could close the hatch in the manner @M2Fream described, then whoever found it first would have the advantage. Survivors would also be unlikely to try to force a stand-off (unlike now, where they sometimes do so just to troll Killers).

The answer will be no, I've stated before as a devout PS4 gamer Sony will not approve of bans, MAAAAAAAAYBE minute or hourly bans but there is no such thing as perma-bans on PlayStation.
I've been reported various times for Call of Duty Zombie exploits and no ban, not even a message or threat.
On PS4, no such bans will exist.Yet Sony and Xbox have already entered into agreements with BHVR to allow them to do console bans and the only thing holding it up is the holiday crunch.
@GT_Legend2 They expect it to be ready sometime in the next few weeks hopefully it's just with the holidays and tight schedule it pushed it back some.
lol links please.
I believe that was discussed during the last dev stream and perhaps @Orion could give you the specific timestamp and or when they most recently discussed this.
It might also have been @Peanits that commented on it since the question had been asked or @not_Queen posted about it. But it was addressed that it was in fact coming they were just ironing out the kinks.
I can't give anything. Last I heard there was no ETA, but they were actively working on getting console bans.

Please let's not dicuss the winning conditions here, this is not what this specific thread is for. (If you'd like to discuss this topic more in detail, we can open another thread.)

No, neither BP nor surviving have any direct correlation to pipping, but actions that lead you to pipping also involve gaining BP and surviving. Get it? -

However, removing the cap will just lead to relentless farming, and you do not want that. There would still be an overall cap of 32k which isn't different to the current situation. Those players that want to farm are already playing farming games.
