Exactly, that's what I was thinking about when I heard the name "Trickster" - A Killer that actually has tricks up his sleeve. Maybe a shapeshifter who can take the form of a survivor and pretend to be a friend until you get close enough and notice he is the killer and that's when he jumps you. How interesting it would be seeing a survivor fixing gen but it's just the Killer in disguise waiting for his prey to join him... I would love to see a trickster like that in DBD.
Wow, i love your ideas and would give anything for them to be in game. That would jump scare the crap out of me if a fellow survivor turned out to be the killer lol

Have you ever felt someone else's presence without first seeing them? Like you just knew someone was up ahead? I have many times, especially when we go camping. I see spine chill as perfect the way it is. Stealth killers would be a total nightmare without it. Plus it's not like everyone is going to run spine chill all the time. I use stealth killers a lot and i don't get bothered by it. Maybe you've just had a string of bad luck?
Also if you are going to rework SC then you may as well rework every perk that allows the killer to see survivors. Hell let's do away with perks and just go at it. Killer vs survivors. No perks. No groups, ban groups from que together and have some good old fashioned fun lol

Honestly when i heard he was going to be called Trickster i was looking forward to all kinds of tricks. What if when you opeened the exit gate there was a 50 percent chance you would open the other gate? The one you weren't at? Or the Trickster could hack the gate and close it? Random gen explodes with a cooldown of 180 seconds?

I'll never understand why people get so riled up. So what if they add LBGTQ characters? Not everyone is LBGTQ so stop worrying about it. Not everyone is straight either and so on. We all make up the real world so why shouldn't we all make up the game world too? Is it really that bad? If it is then the problem lies in your hate filled heart. I'm a straight male and i know bi people, gay people and other straight people. At the end of the day our only enemy is time because his brother death is a sonuva b**** that none of us will ever beat. None of us make it to any exit gates in this life.

I would drop my key and run to the nearest hook to sacrifice myself just to save this cutie. I would also buy the Trickster dlc and play as him for a year just to save that baby. Thankfully i won't have to do either. 😂

Good point on the running. It is very comical but not in a good way. The music i am fine with and maybe some cosmetics will help with the look but nothing can help that run.

I'm ok with the knife throwing taking 8 hits because they are small knives. If you want to lower how many it takes to hurt a survivor then give him a big, big knife. I'm talking the kind of knife you would get if Crocodile Dundee's knife and Rambo's knife had a baby knife. Then that baby grew up and found the hands of a crazed kpop star.

Is it just the kpop that people hate? I dislike kpop culture as well but I think Trickster was very well made.
From what i heard from people that don't like him in game in the test build is that he's a cross between the joker and bts and they hate him. Now the players that love him told me it's bts that have had enough [of what i don't know] and they love it. One thing i do like is his music as he closes in on you.

well looks like there might be another glitch AND THIS MIGHT BE BECAUSE OF AN EARLY UPDATE but the game just crashes a lot for 0 reason. hopefully it fixes today when it fully releases and everything is up to date.
I hear you and it is so annoying. I thought everything was fixed today when i managed to get 2 games in a row to work. Tonight i have been booted 11 times. I'm not buying anymore auric cells until everything is fixed. What would be the point?
Update: Well they sure fixed that fast. I'll be buying my cell package as soon as the other rock outfits are added. I really like the Kate one.

I hope they extend the Gilded Stampede by a few days because between work, the rest of real life and this annoying bug issue, i haven't been able to use all my Gilded Stampede items.

What if they made it like those 80's horror movies where you go to use a key and boom.... wrong key, ok try next one.... wrong again? Killer getting close? He's stabbing you to death? Welcome to 80's movies. Change the key to a set of keys and have a chance that you will use the wrong one sending a massive sound alert to the killer.

I like the idea of a mansion. I wonder if we could have some hidden spaces in the walls? Maybe a one way tunnel that is a risk to enter because if you enter and the killer is up ahead all you can do is turn around and try to run back the way you came? I'm thinking of something like the infamous Winchester place.

I was on my dying hook, fully infected and there were 2 gens left with 3 people alive. Got to use the DS literally last second and managed to run away. The game ended with a 2K for the killer and me living to tell the story. The rush it gave me felt awesome. Tapping a generator or picking someone up from the ground mid chase shouldn't take away this feeling. It being used 1/8 matches with the perk wasting a slot in the other 7 is not strong imo. Just like ruin. It can be cleansed in the first 20 seconds or be a pita the whole match. I play killer more than survivor btw, this is not a biased entitled survivor making the poll.
I don't pick up survivors fast enough to be bothered with this. I'm for a rework if that's what people want. Power to the people. 😀

I have played In Silence and that can be fun but i prefer Phasmophobia. I'd recommend going the VR route but if you can't the game is still enjoyable without VR.

I like both of these posts so much. As a survivor, it's a nightmare when a fellow survivor decides to alert each crow as he runs to my gen and as a killer, i love the sounds my little friends make.

You literally made a post going, I'm better than most players so on and so on. It's a game ffs stop stressing so much, sometimes yellow ranks play better than red ranks, especially if they've just started the game. Everyone starts off at rank 20 and of you don't play all the time, you'll be reset back to 20 even if you were a red rank.
I think people forget it's a game. They have no sense of humor and act like it's life or death. I was in a game with someone who looked up my time played and said "you suck and should give up i have 3k hours played and i'm a red rank and look at you...." They then died instantly. 😀

I'll gladly die for them any time.

As killer sometimes i get trash talking survivors complaining about me using an op character or perk and other times they trash talk how they escaped so easily... blah blah blah. Well this one survivor actually took the time to apologize about trash talking me in a game i don't even remember. I told him it doesn't bother me and i barely notice anymore. I just thought it was pretty nice. He escaped this time too by the way. 😅
[Not that it matters but i was Oni and he was Dwight, just thought some people would like to picture those two characters having the discussion lol]

I feel your pain as i get camped as much as anyone else but it is a part of the game and it can be a very dumb mistake by the killer if the other survivors are smart and gen rush. I've never camped, too boring for me.

Good question. I'm no expert at killer on pc as i have stated that i honestly only play pig. However i have played killer a ton on xbox so i would give my vote to Oni but honorable mention to Wraith. I really enjoy playing against Oni. Seldom do i get a face camper and they are never toxic after game. Much respect to Oni mains.

Yes, it's going to be very funny when all perks are reduced to "Wake Up" and "Hangman's Trick" tier because people always find something new to cry about.
Killers might stop complaining once the new perk is in play. You know the one - "one foot in the grave" The survivor starts the game with one injured numb leg that leaves a glowing pool of blood in the shape of an arrow. The blood vanishes after 30 minutes. 😀

I do play killer and even i as a lvl 1 Myers do very, very well. Played him over 100 times in xbox for different rituals but Myers will never be my main killer. I prefer the Pig, Huntress and "Chuckles" and these are the only killers i plan to prestige. Like i said though i would fully support giving Myers whatever people want. I was simply giving my opinion.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Lunar New Year. May 2021 bring us an end to this nightmare pandemic.

People always say Myers isn't a top killer but every time i see him there are two survivors down within 45 seconds and then they either quit or hide the rest of the game. I know that's not all Myers fault but i really don't want to see him any stronger myself. Having said that if you are using Myers as a main and find that he is in need of a boost then i support your vote of yes. Have a good rift everyone.

I think the 5 minute penalty for dc is fine but to punish people for dying on the hook? How could you prove they weren't just trying to get off the hook and gave up because they didn't want to keep button smashing when other survivors were across the map? Don't get me wrong i get you and it is indeed frustrating but i would rather suck it up and deal with it then risk the chance a fellow gamer was punished because it seemed like they did something wrong when they didn't.

As much as you dread the Nurse i dread having to stun blind the killer 3 times or more in a single trial. I just can't seem to get past 2. I might actually just skip the rift this time lol

I've bought a rift and find it to be the single best purchase i have made in any game ever. If you play enough then completing the rift is no problem and you earn the cells back. As for costumes? I have to admit to usually buying "sale" outfits only. The most i feel comfortable spending is about 600 cells. Some are really cool and the Legendary outfits sort of give you a "new" character. At the end of the day it's about what you want and what you can afford.

I feel your pain as i had too many docs in a row (See what i did there?) but i don't think much can be done really. I wonder how hard it would be to create a feature that would allow you to block one killer and one map? Mind you if that was added then Legion might be lonely. For some reason every time i go against Legion at least one person instantly quits.

For survivors i'd say Meg and Bill with the edge going to Bill. You can get back up, save someone from hook or find hatch if your team is dead. As far as killer goes i am fond of Pig even though i know there are perks that people use more. I do very well with her.

The Hag imo. Her running is enough to crack you up and scare the heck out of you all at the same time. It's a blast playing against and as her. Oni isn't bad and i have tried Blight but i am not good with the rushing.

I would like the cap to be increased to roughly what it take to lvl a character to prestige 3. I'd like to do it all in one go. Just save it up and redo the character right then and there.

Candyman but only if he looks like Tony Todd. For survivors i would give ANYTHING for Sam and Dean Winchester. I would never stop playing the game if they were added. If i made it to 105 years old i would playing. lol

The worst for me is having the killer led to me by a teammate. I'll never understand people that do that. I was in a game where the player led the killer to me, then tea bagged me once i was down and the killer just left me on ground for awhile. This game went on far too long but i couldn't disconnect because we get penalties for that. So i had to sit in this game that wouldn't end. It just went on and on my friend.

I feel your pain but from the other side. 9 times out of 10 when i am chased by the killer it seems like a marathon before i either get away or am downed and not a single gen pops. I swear it's like the survivors i am in game with are waiting for nothing else but a race to unhook others and often right in front of the killer.

I would like the choice to have either survivor or killer rituals. I know i should play killer more but i prefer survivor and most of the time i am stuck with 3 killer rituals. Once in a blue moon i will get a survivor ritual.

I main Kate because i figure she has the best perks available for me. Gender doesn't matter to me really, it's all about the perks. Also being an 80's horror movie fan there is something to be said for the final girl usually surviving so it's fitting i have a female main atm.
