I mean I’d get that because I use NOED on leatherface (yes I admit it) and that’s because he’s a terrible killer (in my opinion) but he’s too defensive and I don’t like defending the hook(what survivors call camping) but like for me NOED only takes me so far on leatherface I’m lucky to get one kill and that’s because I don’t defend the hook but I use it because I know it could guarantee me at least one killTsulan said:@Mr_Jay_Stark said:

This Huntress had plenty of time without Gen Rush to do well. I did break two totems and was anticipating NOED. I’m sure the rest of my team broke at least two themselves. So because we missed one totem some where, this Killer went from maybe a 2k if he camped that last guy out to a 4K. Never mind he played terrible (You can watch, I had eyes on him the whole match.) He couldn’t land hatchets at all and missed swings like crazy. Me and the 3 other Survivors got cheated out an escape we deserved. All because of one perk.
I don’t even know how she let both you and Quentin get away at the beginning. Yea she was terrible but I always cringe when I see killers like huntress or anyone with one shot capabilities (unless running add-ons to prevent them from doing so) running NOED! She needed more practice! I’d ask how she got to rank 8 but I think I know how lol
Maybe not used to play Huntress and got a daily.

I’m sorry to hear about your struggle! I only had one person Sabo a hook and he paid the price for that!
But I usually let people get their hooks from me! It’s come to the point where I’m like well since I’m red ranks I just want my gens! Like you could kill me and I usually black pip (or pip) but at rank 1 what else are you supposed to do?! Especially when there is an event going on! -
I think they should rework the perk because honestly the percentages suck! This perk is some what good if you are up against 4 no mithers and even then it sucks!
I heard back when the perk came out it used to be for dead survivors too but people said it was “too powerful” so they took that away -
@TheLegendDyl4n1 I knew you were being sarcastic I usually never take anything on here seriously 😂 but @White_Owl your plan is genius! I just read the thread I was thinking they should get another perk for cool downs like the ones you mentioned but reworking vigil like that is perfect!

You know at this point I’ll take an animation where he throws it on the floor (or even places it) and the trap sets itself up! I know people may say oh that’s not realistic but I mean it’s DBD like you think a killer is going to hook you before he kills you?!

I have them! It’s way easier to get the killers than the survivors but also Kate’s is meh, I’m actually surprised Billy’s hammer looks cool! I was shocked because the picture they put up doesn’t really do it justice

I was playing as pig and it was end game I down a jake he misses his DS and messages me (while on the hook) “noob pig you suck” “pus” (don’t know what that means but he’s dedicated because he’s still messaging me on the hook) and I was going to hard camp him but he has a RBT so I decided to go back to the jigsaw box he was at downed him and he messaged me “FU” 😂 I hadn’t laughed so hard in awhile lmao and he DCd
other than that I only had a sabo jake Sabo one of my hooks (he died) -

I always dodge if there is Red ping. I always wait 20 seconds before I ready up because if the ping fluctuates within those 20 seconds im not taking the chance. I have no problem dying due to my stupid mistakes but lag that’s a whole other issue. I also don’t like teleporting.

I can tell you I’ve never hit bloodlust 2 but I’m that killer that will destroy pallets (unless I’m nurse) I only destroy them because if I try to mind game you and I see you’re too good I’ll destroy it. But I sometimes like chasing those survivors that waste pallets and won’t mind game them they’ll just drop every pallet on the map (I thank those survivors). But when chasing a survivor I don’t let them waste my time. If they are a time waster, time to move on because time is too important to a killer

Well another side note (many people don’t know) is you can actually use NOED with a speed limiter on both hillbilly and leather face and it will put a healthy survivor in the down state (once NOED is active) but a huntresses hatchet does not put you in a downed state (if you’re healthy) but it does give them the notification that the huntress is running NOED

I don’t know I see it a different way than most people here. The way I see it is they’re insulting my intelligence as a survivor! Like they are making it easier! I wanted survivor to be more challenging! For example if I seen someone on the hook and I was about to get the gen done I’ll get it done first and see what the situation is and if I hear a heartbeat around the hook well I’ll get a generator done! If I had seen someone else get hit then I’ll go for the save! If the hooked survivor is waving his hands up and down then I’m like ok he’s camping.
As for people saying oh it’ll eliminate camping! No it won’t! Coming from someone who runs kindred 3 I can tell you I’ve had survivors wait next to the hook while the killer was camping (and this is red ranks) then at end game chat they put camper but it’s like um I had kindred so you let him get away with camping and it worked!
Also as a solo survivor if I’m playing with a 3 man SWF I always assume I’ll never get any saves!
But I rarely play with 3 man SWF because you can easily get left behind, sandbagged or farmed which at that point it’s you vs 4
I believe someone mentioned opting out as a killer but you forget some solo survivors don’t want to be teamed up with a 3 man either!
but to sum it up I think survivors should get less information! I’m still waiting when they add that no one can see the killers perks and add-on till the entire match is finished and I would like less notifications for certain hexes and status effects and if it gives new players an issue put it in the tutorial! -
I mean overwatch has finally done something about their toxicity (thank god) and it’s been around for about the same amount of time. So if their reporting system doesn’t step up by the end of this year then I’m going to say no! And I know some people will say oh but blizzard is a huge company! Which is true but it’s like money or a well based community? I think we know what most companies choose *cough* EA *cough* Activision
But I mean he who I will not mention has been perma banned. So it should say something but on the other hand I still see people wall and speed hack (on pc) and lag switching is still a thing. Not to mention the constant DCs.
Don't even get me started with console! Although I do feel bad for Xbox one players -
Also just a side note (that some might not know) but remember me also works for hatches but it doesn’t work if a trapper hits his obsession in a trap (I tried it myself)

I know for a fact that sloppy butcher works with hatchets! But it doesn’t work with trappers traps I’m not too sure about the chainsaws though

I’ll tell you what if I ever play against you and you’re a nurse I’ll survey your gameplay and let you know my thoughts because I have mad respect for console nurses! I’ve recently decided to put my time (and effort) into mastering her on both consoles so I feel ya but don’t give up because when I’m in red ranks and I see a nurse and they wipe the floor I actually like it because going against a nurse is a total mind game!

Love OPs name lol but the only way I’d agree to the point that survivors were nerfed into the ground is if I seen the following:
”fixed an issue which now allows survivors to no longer run! Now killers will have much shorter chases!”
or
”fixed an issue to make it where survivors can only crouch around the map”
or
”fixed an issue to make it where when a survivor is hit once he is automatically dead! This makes the game 10x shorter!”
or
“fixed an issue to make it where once a survivor is hooked once he is dead! This makes games 10x shorter!”
any of those would be a nerf in the ground for survivors! -
I know console players can’t play the ptb so they have to rely on PC players to try it out and trust me they have more to complain about than upcoming “nerfs” and “buffs” *cough* FPS issues! And yes I understand people can say oh buy a PC but console gamers feel comfortable playing console! I get people may say oh well that’s what they get for buying a console! Which is true but like I said they feel comfortable being on console so why change?

I kinda wish the trapper had a better animation for placing his traps! Like he looks like he just opens it with a flick of his wrist!
Also I wish they had an animation for when you disarmed a bloody coil trap because right now you disarm it and boom your injured it’s funny how it just happens like I don’t know they should make it look like you cut yourself disarming the trap but hey it’s probably asking a lot! But love the patch! -
I always find it weird when someone runs calm spirit because I hit them and they don’t scream (you just hear the weapon hit sound effect) I’m like are you ok? And then I realize oh yea calm spirit got a buff. It’s gonna take awhile for me to get used to it

I had a survivor call me a “dumba$$ ######### who uses no mither and if it wasn’t for me using no mither he would’ve won” he was using meta perks while I was using no mither against a nurse and I escaped. Like how does that make any sense?!

I think that he should be able to hit someone while cloaked and when he takes a swing (whether successful or not) he uncloaks

Well OP I don’t mean to offend you or say anything wrong about you but I’d just like to let you know that when I first started playing survivor (a year ago) I actually only used Dwight’s perks and spine chill and let me tell you I made it to rank one with those.
So the point is if they took away self care heck if they took away all exhaustion perks you can still get to the high ranks because like I said I didn’t even know what the “meta” was until I start talking to members of the DBD community. -

Correct me if I’m wrong but back when I was introduced to online gaming (which is the first Halo don’t judge my age lol) teabagging was crouching up and down on someone’s dead body or face.
Now with saying that I don’t see them “teabagging” more like shaking their booty so I always shake my head up and down as if I’m enjoying it (like the perverted killer I am)
