The only reason I like rank reset is so I can practice using nurse because I’m terrible with her. Other than that I DISLIKE RANK RESET! But as survivor it’s nice because you go against different killers other than billy (if you were in red ranks)

I had this same issue! I tried restarting my game nothing. So I thought to myself well if I don’t get it tomorrow there will be hell to pay and what do you know? I got them the next day! Which I think is dumb because when you purchase the cells on PS4 you get them immediately (I also have it on PS4 don’t judge) so I recommend you wait till tomorrow to see if you receive your cells

NEVER and I mean NEVER chase into the asylum that place is a death trap unless you’re trapper or hag and have trapped that place up don’t chase in there! Unless he’s your last person then go for it or all gens are done fine but cut the chase because not all survivors will make it to the asylum when you first catch them they’ll be on a different side of the map to be honest I usually give that gen up to the survivors

Not only is open-handed beautiful on bond but it is also beautiful on kindred (if you have a nurse camping within blinking distance guess what? EVERYONE sees that)

Most perks of the killers will be useless. For example: I hit you with Franklins EVERYONE knows I have franklins and then they’ll go pick up your item, Once someone dies they know if you have NOED and or blood warden. As for the rest of the HEX totems they are useless against SWF. Nurses calling, once one of them know you have it they ALL know. Oh and if you’re trapper or Hag and you place traps around a hooked person they ALL know about that too!

I’m lucky if I’m able to use well make it! You won’t believe how many times I’ve had to waste my time and chase another survivor to heal them! And the killer was never near!

I’m a sucker for the “old school games” so I was playing the snes & nes classic but also one of the things I like about Xbox one is backwards compatibility so I played KOTOR and I’m a HUGE mass effect fan (don’t mention andromeda) I’ve played through the trilogy 20 times on Xbox 360 and 20 times on PS4 and I’m playing it again on Xbox one
edit: I forgot to mention what got me into this game I searched up Friday the 13th on Amazon seen DBD gave it a try and haven’t regretted it since -

Yea not many people like aces perks but other than that I mean Laurie has DS but they’re nerfing that (thank god) Quentin has wake up which isn’t too bad. Tapp has oh stake out is good I recommend it! It helps with ruin and stake out on the game (the map) is beautiful (especially against a doctor) I don’t know if you did David but he has were gonna live forever which gives blood points. So I’d do Tapp first then David.

Hmm well if you’re a stealth player I’d go with (obvious choice self-care Claudette) definitely do nea (urban evasion), Jake has iron will not to mention the buff that calm spirit is getting. Oh can’t forget about meg has quick and quiet also I hear Kate has dance with me those are all stealthy perks.

To be honest you’re going to have to change up your tactics. You may not like it but slugging is a VERY useful tactic. Also have some perks for end game (if you combine remember me with blood warden it gives you an extra 2 minutes)

You know I was the same way you felt and then I decided to play killer because I thought to myself why am I only playing like half the game? So now I play both equally and it gives you a different perspective in the game. I’m one of those people who say camp me to death? GG. “Tunnel” me? GG. As for killer I also do the same pallet loop me to oblivion and escape? GG. To be honest I just want to get into a game and waste my offerings and earn some shards and blood points

When I played with one of my friends and he did this I was like dude the killer will dodge because he’s going to be annoyed of you and what happened dodged. But I as a killer dislike this but sometimes I pretend they could hear me and I’m like oh let me just change through all my prestiged killers too!

Since people are talking about that key in a chest I was thinking make a perk (like pharmacy) but for keys.
tier one would give you any of the 3 keys (at random which is a 66% you’d get a key that would open the hatch)
tier 2 would give them 50/50 and not give the broken key
tier 3 is the same as tier 2 but let’s you see where the hatch is -
Getting 2 kills as the nurse against average survivors (with no ruin) because I am a terrible nurse so I’m shocked to even get one hook

Honestly I make it a role-play when I play killer. I pretend I’m the school playground watchman. Which means that if the survivors make a mistake I chase them hit them on the head once (like if the kids are bad on the playground you tell them something) and if they make a 2nd mistake well it’s to the hook we go (that would be the principals office)

Hillbilly. Don’t get me wrong he’s a good killer it’s just once you hit the red ranks that’s all there is! Which is why I believe they should buff killers so we could get more variance

Also skill checks are easy. Unnerving + Overcharge doesn't stop me from doing them. I will just plow through your Ruin by hitting great skill checks. I feel like the only time I even fail skill checks is when I stop doing something right when it pops up and fail it automatically.

I can see what you’re saying but if you tunnel at low ranked fresh meat you’re not really playing for points (more for pips?) and that match would end really fast (too fast even) for me if I see survivors are struggling and I’m wiping the floor with them then I’ll go easier but that’s just my opinionTheTimeMachine said:

Actually when rank reset happens I play nurse for my first match (and I’m a terrible nurse like I’m lucky to get one hook) but after a match the survivors felt bad and were like “dude nurse is hard so kudos to you for trying to play her” and I was shocked I was expecting a “EZ NOOB killer” message
then I was playing trapper a couple weeks ago and a feng ran into one of my traps and I placed her on the hook and I replaced the trap I was like I don’t think she’ll fall into it again right? Wrong! She fell into it again and I shook my head like really feng?! She messaged me at the end of the game and she said she laughed so hard because she didn’t expect to fall into that trap again! I told her I shook my head in amazement and she said that’s what made it even funnier -
I remember I played in a rank one match against a Freddy and I was like “oh boy easy game” but then as soon as the other 3 survivors (all Claudette’s) were downed they DC’d I was only able to get one gen because he had ruin and I was like great so Freddy found me and I gave him the chase of his life (to farm for boldness) he stopped and messaged me to get a gen done so I could escape. He felt bad since I stayed and the rest screwed me over. I told him hopefully we can have an actual match next time

Tunneling is not bad! It’s a strategy your taking away the weakest link! It’s a smart play! But also remember they are in your lobby! Play how you want to play! Because you can’t dictate how the survivors are going to play.

Eh to me Kate’s just a skin I mean sure she may “look good” (if that’s your type) her perks are meh but the clown eh I could wait a few days for him
side note: I’ve yet to run into a Kate and a clown would one say that is lucky?
