Now seriously, as Killer I always fear them having Flip Flop even though no one uses it.
But it's quite a strong effect i it works.

Best/worst maps to play as PH on? Go!
He isn't really map dependent. If you use M&A, I'd guess maps with a lot of LoS blockers are good for him since the reduced TR gives Survivors a later warning, giving you more distance.. and distance is his biggest counter.
I'd say maps with elevations aren't great either because his PotD attack can't go upwards, but it can go downwards. So yeah, a map like swamp isn't ideal either.
But in general, he works well on pretty much every map.
-
Body is 1 character to short.
-
I guess.
-
We need to all call together, otherwise he won't arrive here.
Oh. Nvm, he is banned. I guess he made to many threads about how outrageous it is that his rear got nerfed.

Who's the head of the council?
Pyramid Head himself of course.
-
Congratulations, you hit shift.
-
YES! The council of PH is getting stronger and stronger.
-
Meanwhile I had 2 hooks on shack side on suffo pit.
But yeah, Midwich (even though it's my favourite map) can be tough regarding hooks. They're placed pretty inpractical I'd say.

" tell me my character was terrifying" - I see... You are new, right? There is nothing terrifying about DBD characters after you get a few hundred hours in game. My formula is this one: Fun = Win. 3k or 4k = fun. 2k = okay. 1k and 0k = no fun. And the opposite as survivor. That's all.
You know what's terrifying as survivor to me? It's not the characters. It's any strong killer with multiple gen slowdowns. Slap Ruin/Undying if you want to me a bit more terrifying. I don't care what your character skin is.
Having a Tinkerer Bubba come around the corner from nowhere with his saw is pretty terrifying, even for someone with 5k hours.
-
Well, either no one uses it or I don't notice it. So I can't actually tell you to be honest.

I haven't tried out M&A on PH yet, I should probably do that someday.
As for PotD shots, anytime I land a flick is hugely satisfying (I play on Switch BTW).
Flick shots (if we talk about the same) are really hard, but indeed satisfying.

Literally my exact thoughts (except I don't use M&A on him, prefer Corrupt)
It's my comfy Perk, and it happens to work well with him.
My build atm is Whispers, BBQ, Infectious, Monitor.
Mainly information and my budget Shadowborn.
-
Well.. I main him, probably noticeable thanks to my pfp.
My opinion on him:
- Very strong and rewarding if mastered
- Huge amount of potential satisfaction if you master his PotD attack. (Getting prediction shots, blind shots, flick shots etc.) except animtion lock shots, all of those feel quite satisfying.
I usually don't like playing the same Killer match after match but with PH, it's an exception. I feel that I am learning something new every day regarding shots (which I mainly focus on), I don't care to much about his Trails and Cages.
Definitely a Killer I can recommend. He's fun and strong.
The only big downside against him would be the holding W strat, which you can milden a bit by using Monitor and Abuse.
-
That's why I wish that we could see teammates loadouts. So we can deny those typical Survivor offerings.

Not really. Any investment you made on a 6th rush would most likely been finished faster with Blighted crow or Btags. Plus if you mess up that's longer cool down for you.
Might be. But 6 rushes can also confuse the one or other Survivor since they'll expect 5. Not sure, maybe I never even noticed it or I never actually played against a 6 rush Blight so it's just theory from my part.

Honestly 6 rush blight isn't half bad as Alchemist ring/ Blighted crow/ Iri add ons.
I'd imagine 6 rushes with Alchemist's Ring could be even more fun.
-
It's probably to prevent Blight from using 6 rushes as long as they have those Add-ons.
Imagine 6 rush Blight with Alchemist Ring, and you would see it during the year, it would be a nightmare and nightmares are for Halloween so that's why it's only during Halloween.
Forget what I said, that's probably not the reason, I just like to think of a reason.

I've also noticed that the survivors seem further away.
Like I said, it really seems like Shadowborn or M&A have invaded the lobby.
-
@Aurelle said:
That's a little strange, but honestly I kind of like it. It makes it more like the killer is just standing there, silently watching the survivors.
It really does, I like it as well.

@Myla said:
I hope we can rotate killers in lobby so it faces you. Seems to be random.
Also, is this pre rank reset or do you just play THAT much?

Michael be like: "You sure you wanna do this?"

@jesterkind said:
I noticed this too- I kinda like it, really leans in to the idea that the killer's standing a little way away just watching the survivors get ready for the trial.
Kinda creepy.
Yeah, I thought that too. It looks pretty nice.

They increased the FOV, pretty sure this was meant to be the fix for killers appearing too far to the right of the screen, (this was apparent with Trickster, his wink wasnt showing up since his left eye was being blocked)
But some how they messed it up, honestly I don't mind it
I mean, I kinda like it. Like the person below you said, it looks like the Killer is just standing there.. menacingally and waiting for the Trial.

Hes good, but who wants to play a "base" killer? (His addons are all boring or lame. Range is good but BORING)
meanwhile, Myers is arguably bottom tier but I see tombstones, scratch mirrors etc. Plenty of build variety.
I guess what I'm saying is, PH gets old fast. Idk why, I thought sniping ppl through walls was something that couldn't get old.
For me it doesn't get old. Though I must admit that I am currently practicing flick shots more since I am pretty decent at trough wall shots. But yeah, the definition of "base killer" couldn't be more accurate. I'll celebrate the day he gets an Add-on pass.
-
You should watch at the entire roster, not just Pyramid Head. We have 26 Killers currently so the chance of getting a particular one is quite low.
Even though I agree that PH is a rare sight to see, I can't remember when I played against a Myers, Plague, Ghostface, Billy and so on for the last time.
On average MMR, I'd say it's quite a lotto to go against your favourite Killer. I'd love to go against Blight, Myers, PH and Demo more since those are my favourite Killers, though I'd say Blight is the most common one of those.

It is hard to actually blame yourself and praise others but believe me, you feel alot better by doing so.
Thanks to some particular people, I fought out of that hate and misery. By being more kind and getting kindness back I started becoming happier and happier everyday.
Positive people really do wonders.
A few evenings ago I realized how I was and what I did, it almost made me cry.
-
No.
Edit: I am speaking with a bit of experience. PH would be the most unfun Killer to go against.

Would you say you are considerably happy or slightly happy about it?
TERMENDOUSLY happy.
-
A thing which I noticed the most was the old Add-ons for Spirit.
Dirty Ubawaki: Considerably (15 %) increases phase movement speed.
Yakuyoke Amulet: Slightly (15 %) reduces phase movement speed.
I am really happy they got rid of those descriptions.

I think Pinhead would be quite thrilled by a pain renaissance
Probably. He would sell his own Scourge Hook: Mild Infruiration to Artist to get her Pain Renaissance.
-
They play 1 match, then they retire.
-
Okay you both were faster.
-
I opened them.

Mmm. Hex: Pie
Nothing compared to Scourge Hook: Pain Renaissance.

Also, rekindled Totems look a bit different. They have a slight red'ish tone within the flames while hex totems are just yellow flames.
-
I like how this thread has evolved. It also changed me.
My head is quite of a triangle today.

@NoOneKnowsNova knew convincing you to come here was a good idea
Also im honoured but I'd have to disagree, Cheers is absolutely who I think deserves WGLF. Remember when I used to be Claudette, David, or Pyramid Head? Good times.
Speaking of, @MrDardon will forever be Pyramid Head in my mind, even if he's currently Chris.
Also @Mooks is there for Vigil, easily.
And @TheGannMan will always be Spirit to me
@Elena will be Claire or Jill, one of the two
Though I said that Chris is gonna stay my pfp for a very long time, I am actually not playing him that much anymore and might actually change back to Pyramid Head.
You know what.. fridge it. I am changing. Sorry Chris.
It never came to my mind tbh, had other things to do.
-
I mean, being wholesome makes people wholesome. Just played this match and they're being really chill. But yeah, we definitely need more people like this.
-
Well.. this is gonna be biased.
- Pyramid Head
- Michael Myers
- Demogorgon
Because it's always your favourite Killers which are never played. (well, except Blight)
But as my serious opinion:
- Twins (thank god)
- Hag (thank god)
- Billy (I want more of them)
-
That was kinda cool, though I expected some more Christmas vibes to be honest.
I'll call you DemoRapper if that's okay. And I also didn't understand to much what you've said.. *cries in German*.
But I appreciate a positive post whenever I see one, thanks a lot Brother.

I mean, she never really got a good Add-on pass like Trapper recently. They just used the old effects and either buffed it or removed their downsides.. and that was years ago.
Add-ons like the Scarred Hand is pretty outdated. And even Waterlogged Shoe. No Add-on should ever remove your power completely. Her more common ones are good I guess, I like to use range IF I ever happen to play Hag, which I'd have to be masochistic for to actually play her, but all in all, she has the same issue as Myers. Some really strong Add-ons, then some middle ground Add-ons which are useful and then the garbage Add-ons like Waterlogged Shoe, Scarred Hand, Granma's Heart and whatelse there is.
She could use an Add-on pass, but I don't think it's needed. Her basekit is pretty fine.
-
Shorty scary Pig Lady. I like that one, reminds me again when someone once called Wraith the "Invisible Bell Man".
But genereal tips: (I probably think you're struggling with her stealth ability.)
- If you are not sure who the Killer is at the start of a match, always be extra cautious. Watch your general area and if you hear the slightest sound, let go of gens or anything so in case if it's a stealthy Killer they can't grab you.
- And yeah, like GoodBoyKaru said, if you happen to have Spine Chill, which is a base Perk.. use it to get an idea of where the Killer might come from or when he is coming.
- She is also very slow while stealthy, she'll usually try and stand up to get a grab. While she stands up, her blade makes a noise which gives you enough time to react in case you're on a gen.
I am also afraid that jump scares aren't really preventable in this game sometimes. I've got almost 5k hours and even I sheet my pants sometimes when a Tinkerer Bubba comes around the corner, or a Myers hits me from nowwhere. It actually makes this game scary and fun.. which is what it is designed for.
-
For Killer:
- Monitor and Abuse (I don't wanna run Shadowborn because I'll have to get used to the new FoV and perception. Using Monitor gives me comfort outside of chases and a wider look-angle. And since I am focused during chases, the lower FoV doesn't bother me AND it also doesn't mess with my perception. This reason alone makes me like this Perk and on top of that it reduces your Terror Radius, which works wonders against the W-Holders, super handy for a Pyramid Head Main.)
- Barbecue and Chili (It basically rewards you for spreading hooks across all Survivors, giving you double Bloodpoints pretty much every match and also gives good information to get to a new chase quicker instead of running into nowhere and searching for ages.)
- I'm all Ears (As a Pyramid Head Main like I said this Perk is pretty much his best Perk besides M&A. It could have a shorter cooldown of course but when it works, it works well since he can shoot trough walls. And it's a nice Perk overall and good for mindgaming and learning Survivors patterns.)
For Survivor:
- Kindred (Since I play either solo or 2 man SWF's, this Perk is probably the best Perk to use. It gives awesome information for you and also for others if you are hooked
and then go to 2nd stage.. It boosts your efficiency as a singular person and pretty much does never leave you in the dark.) - Flashbang (One I barely ever use but nonetheless one of my favourite because getting Flashbang saves is one of the most fun things as Survivor. Also, using FB during a chase, blinding the Killer and then running into the opposite directions pretty much guarantees a lot of distance and a potential escape.)
- Windows of Opportunity (One of the most frustrating things is to run to a pallet location and realize the pallet isn't there anymore, and then you go down because it's a Bubba. Well.. this Perk prevents that AND it even got buffed recently where it has no cooldown and more range. It's the definition of an underrated Perk which got buffed, because even before the buff it was a very good Perk.)
-
It means "jailed". They probably broke some rules and I think while being jailed you are limited in possible posts you can make. If you keep posting bad stuff it will result in a ban.

First match after 1 week of MC 1.18:
I jumped into a Snowman, slowly approached a David at a gen. I tried to work on it but it didn't work so I had to explode.
The way David was just sitting there, reactionless... or shocked and scared for life gave me a good laugh.
