I actually don't have a order. As long as my 4 Perks are included in my build I am okay.
-
Me with warped voice: "Wait what?"
-
Didn't the last dev update include all changes? Or am I confusing it with the patch notes, can't remember.
-
My first feeling would be satisfaction as I really like that bell sound after spawning.
-
If you can handle the jank and lack of good Add-ons then yes. Like Dino said, I'm all Ears is a good Perk and especially a good beginner Perk on him.
I started playing him less and less as I am reeeaaalllyyy enjoying Spirit recently. There is a chance that I am leaving him for Spirt.
-
I ran into some in the past and 90 % of them were wholesome. I remember only 2 who were salty. One after losing to my Pyramid Head and I had a good time watching them mald and one where I apparently used J-Flicks on Blight after those were patched, we had a 2 hour discussion until he rewatched that scenario frame by frame just to then realize that it was a legit flick hit.
But also, I befriended some. We were chatting, starting to play because why not? Mostly the smaller streamers anyways.
-
I agree that DH needs a nerf, it's overpowered if used right.
Comparing it with Killer is a bad idea though.
Also, I always find it funny how threads like these turn into a Mortal Kombat: Survivor vs Killer everytime.
-
I mean, if they bless a Hex Totem then that's a lot of wasted time on their side.
-
Oni starts as an M1 Killer, which is boring. Once he gets his power it can be fun. But there is always the risk of not getting your power for quite a while if Survivors play extremely safe.

I've done this achievement multiple times over.
My advice is to run Judith's Tombstone with J. Myers Memorial.
Monitor & Abuse, Enduring, Whispers, and Corrupt Intervention
You're going to be tempted to run Tuft of Hair, but the infinite is not worth the time it takes to reach T3. Plus, once you insta-kill one survivor, everyone else is just going to jump in lockers around you.
Being in T2 has several advantages.
- Smaller Terror Radius -- You will have a much easier time getting the drop on survivors
- False Sense of Security -- Survivors won't jump in lockers the second you come around because you're not in T3
Whispers is used for finding the 4th survivor before or after you have a chance to close hatch--RNG is the biggest killer with this achievement. All it takes is a survivor to find hatch and its GG. Therefore, you can down the second to last survivor then insta-kill the last after letting him wiggle off.
Enduring makes a map with many strong pallets a little more tolerable. Plus, there is the added benefit of getting a bit more stalk off after being stunned.
As far as approach goes, you absolutely CANNOT kill anyone you haven't stalked. Ideally, you kill whoever has the most stalk, so that you can make it to the 4k.
Good luck! :)
People really sleep on single Tombstone since the buff.
Double iri. Myers takes far to long.

I see The Shape using it sometimes, but for survivors it's anything with an aura. Lets you see from further away. My favorite use is with Kindred but Bond is popular too.
Took me a moment to understand what Open Handed has to do with The Shape, but now it's all coming together.

I do think the yellow bottles themelves are fine, they only need to be seperated from their ammo count. Which means you would have 3 purple and 3 yellow bottles for example.
It was an idea, I never play Clown but I thought that increasing action speed while invigorated would be neat.
-
If I don't have Kindred, I am a bit mad but in the end I am like "how should they know?"
If I have Kindred, they better never bump into me in rl.

Agree but tweaking can be always done to the bottles themselves.
What you could also do, besides speeding you up, the yellow pee bottles now also increases vaulting and breaking speed while invigorated on top of the slowvault.
This would also apply to Survivors if they're invigorated.
-
It would actually make him kinda good, but I would change the gas extension Add-ons and even reduce the clouds size a bit to compensate, it could be a bit to much otherwise.
With Pinhead you have to be precise, with Clown not so much.
-
Monitor and Abuse is my favourite.
1. Good FoV outside of chase, makes looking around easier.
2. Less TR outside of chase, mildening the W meta if you approach behind wrecks, debris and walls.
3. Normal FoV inside a chase doesn't mess with my perception, which Shadowborn would do, allowing me to be able to play without M & A.
4. More TR inside a chase will make one or the other Survivor panic. (Rather weak upside).
This Perk just works really well for me, my ultimate "comfy Perk".
-
I kinda walk like Tier 2 Myers.

Being 4.6 or 4.4 in that situation makes almost no difference.
Let's say you travel for 10 seconds, that would be 44 metres on Trickster and 46 metres on Trapper for example.
This speed difference makes a huge difference in chase but almost no difference in map traversal.

Who really cares though? If someone can't handle losing a game then they shouldn't be playing it, I can get BM'd the whole game and I'd just laugh because I don't really care, the real issue is people allowing a video game to dictate their feelings and treating it like someone disrespected them in real life, if someone can't laugh and have fun even when they're losing no matter which side they play then that's a personal problem not a problem with in game behavior, nobody should care how the other side feels.
If I get steamrolled I don't care either, that's why I said "Don't act out of anger".
But this guy clearly understood that he went to far and regretted that he and his team dominated a new Killler.
I feel bad if I play with my swf and we get a new Killer, it's called Empathy. Either side consists of human players.
Also, you kind of misunderstood what I were saying. I didn't say you should take it to heart if someone is toxic towards you in a video game, I said you shouldn't act out of anger, because this makes everything just worse.

gonna be honest i read "just swallow and move on" and thought your comment went in a WHOLE nother direction
I was expecting that, but I didn't feel like changing my comment xD.
-
Basekit Blight.
1. Has solid counterplay (other than holding W)
2. Good power in chase if used correctly.
3. Mobile
Do I need to add anything else? Basically, both sides have a good chance to outplay eachother anywhere at any time. The [Basekit] power isn't to oppressive in chase but also isn't to weak.
-

Sorry for what exactly? Playing the game?
I'm pretty sure the killers who 4ks and "BM'ed" you don't feel sorry, so why should you?
He feels sorry because they dominated a new Killer with Tier 1 Perks. He feels bad for that guy.
That's why you should never act out of anger, you might hurt (or in this game ruin someones experience) who didn't deserve it. Just swallow it and move on.

Where are we?

I used to think that Hex: Huntress Lullaby gave every killer the lullaby when I first started
Tbh, that would be kinda cool actually. Useless, but cool.

Oof, there is so many. Especially on Survivor side. I try and not run Meta Perks on either side, so I usually use other good/mediocre or even bad Perks sometimes.
For Survivor:
- Flashbang (My favourite Perk, it's not really strong or practical but it's hella fun. Who doesn't like an ingame war zone.)
- Any Mean's necessary (I really like that one, free 500 BP for picking up pallets and you get the occasional pick-up, which always feels satisfying.)
- Alert (Underrated, it gives good info and can let you keep track of pallets which have been dropped.)
- Resurgence (It's a We'll Make it, but for yourself basically. So if you want to have an 8 second heal everything YOU get unhooked, this Perk helps.)
- Bite the Bullet (This Perk still carries the title: "Saved my a** against that tunneling Spirit on Cowshed". After getting unhooked, Spirit was nearby, searching but I went to a hay ball and started to heal myself, and my teammates could distract her and I could heal myself making 0 noise.
.. probably even more, but those came to my mind pretty quick. But many Perks are either underrated or weak but still fun.
Killer:
- Monitor and Abuse (It's not great on every Killer, but I am a half-Shadowborn addict and I need to run this Perk on "almost" every Killer.)
- Brutal Strength/Bamboozle/Fire up on Myers (I just love this combo on Myers, those Perks aren't the greatest but they feel so good to use on him.
- Brutal Strength on Spirit (Not good at all on her, but I like it on her. Seeing her break those pallets with her katana quicker gives me chills.)
- Agitation (Again, not the best Perk but this Perk makes playing Killer smoother, and everything which makes Killer better to play is a good Perk for me.)
- Trail of Torment and Starstruck on Ghostface (Kick a gen, be stealthy.. once the gen stops regressing and you lose your stealth.. restealth again with Night Shroud. Also, Starstruck will always work because you have a TR while carrying, making up for the lack of instadowns on my part because I don't stalk as Ghostface.)
- Enduring on Blight (Not the best choice, but I play pretty aggressive with him and brute force pallets.. *get stunned.. M2.. M2. M1*, pallet gone in an instant.)
- Whispers on Plague (While Corrupt Purge is active, I can't hear sh** because for some reason the whispering of her Corrupt Purge is so extremely loud, it muffles everything else. Whispers allows me to kinda "know" where Survivors are once I see the Perk activate.)
.. and so on, but those came to my mind again.
-
Either remove the "mute" part of it by making it 60/70/80 % less sound or,
make it like Lucky Break, 100 % less sound but a limited edition. (Should be maybe 90 seconds or more)
-
Damn, I would love if someone sent me a massage 💆
-
I bet you're having hella fun while being camped.
It might be a strategy, but it isn't excactly FUN. Should everyone now go play a different game?
-
Survivor:
- The Game (uninteractive, deceptive and I always end up in dead rooms with only 1 entrance and a pallet which has been already used)
- Sanctum of Wrath (literally 5 to 6 pallets on the entire map, random fatshame spots and bamboo where you get stuck on even though it looks passable)
- Fail Rose (I just hate it okay...)
- Wretched Shop (It's not even bad, I just don't like it personally. It's my least favourite Autohaven map as Survivor)
Killer:
- Badham (no need to tell why)
- Azarov's Resting Place (not bad but for some reason I always have tilting games on that map)
- Fractured Cowsh*t (who loves W and 2 million tiles connecting to each other? How fun!!!!)
I probably got more but those 7 are my most hated maps.
-
I mainly play Leon/Chris, but I do like to switch to Zarina, Jill, Yun Jin, Nea or Meg. All of them except Jill have all Perks so I can do meme stuff with them as well. Jill because I like Jill.
-
This is all my opinion, some people love her.
As her: Boring as hell, I prefer offensive Killers, she is purely a defensive Killer.
Against her: Uninteresting. Just run to the edge of the trigger area of traps and watch her getting triggered by not getting a hit with the scroll wheel strat. Once you're in basement you basically have 1 hook state.

This is exactly what I want. Get rid of the ridiculous slow speed in tier 1 and the baby lunge so you can actually play in tier 1 if you want. His tier 1 is awful. Tier 3 yes speed to breaking things, all for it. Its not a massive buff either. The tier 1 buff would be to help the character keep up more.
It should be like Nemesis where Tier 1 isn't the best but it's playable.
Tier 1 Myers is unplayable. And as a 4.4 normal Killer who is undetectable, it could actually be fun to hit'n run as Myers.
The only thing which could make that change a bit to strong is scratched mirror on indoor maps, on outdoor maps however SM could actually be viable.

Both of these addons are...rubbish. Fun and memey on some maps, but just terrible.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2713083#Comment_2713083
Each to their own I guess.
I really enjoy playing Hag, and I don't mind facing her (on the 2 occasions I have). She's just so different to the rest of the roster, and it feels like every time I play her I learn something new.
You're right.
I just don't like the forced defensive playstyle she has.
Trapper is defensive but he can also chase as a 4.6 Killer.
Demo can be played defensive, is 4.6 AND has a chase power which is fun to use.
Hag is 4.4 and is forced to use her defensive power.
I rather play the 2 above over her any day, even though I find Trapper almost as boring because his Traps are defensive and without them he is a powerless M1 Killer.

The issue has been resolved. Seemed that the issue was more minor than expected.
@MandyTalk I don't think this thread needs to be updated by further comments. You may close this if you want.

Yeah, I’ve had rubberbanding issues as well. Been having them since the chapter dropped, though.
Extreme lag and the title screen took ages to end. I've had this since yesterday. I was checking on my local internet provider and found some reports, maybe it's an country wide issue in Austria.
My router sometimes randomly stops working. I think it's a internet provider issue, atm it works fine but as soon as I start dbd, my internet crashes.
-
I mean, I agree that DH needs a nerf, but people just use what the devs give them so it's not the players fault afterall (or not entirely at least).

Everyone rise from your chairs to greet our new guest,
Hi Akumakaji.
Why did I read "Everyone rise from your Claires".
-
I am by no means a Spirit Main, but I do like playing her.
My build is:
- Whispers
- Monitor and Abuse
- BBQ
- Brutal Strength
It's not a practical build at all, it works for me because they're my comfy Perks for her. Whispers to find Survivors quick at the start of a match and during the game as well as in the endgame.
Monitor and Abuse. I would use Shadowborn, but Shadowborn would mess with my perception during chases so I prefer M&A, I get the extra FOV outside of chases and during a chase my perception doesn't get ruined AND it also reduces your Terror Radius.
BBQ for Bloodpoints and tracking.
Brutal Strength, especially on Spirit is very weird I know, but I like it on her for some reason. Seeing her break those pallets quickly with her katana makes me comfortable.
As for Add-ons, I mainly use those and they're both yellow:
- Muddy Sports Day Cap: Increases movement speed while phasing by 10 %.
- Kaiun Talisman: Increases phase walk duration by 1 second.
There used to be a stronger green version, this got changed but the yellow version is almost as good.
-
@Crowman said:
BHVR is unlikely to admit they made a mistake with the nerfs and revert anything.
It's more likely we'll get a new gun using killer in the future who is just a straight upgrade to Deathslinger, because why bother balance the current cast for free when you can sell the balance.
They won't, that's why Billy is still in the tragic state he is in, though he got a bit better with the changes they made after his ultimate nerf and recently with his buffed Add-ons.
The dumbest thing was where they reverted his cooldown acceleration to 3 c/s from 5 c/s. (c/s = charges per second)
-
to say goodbye?
-
Perception Disorder:
- You start the match with the "Blindness" and "Oblivious" status effects.
- Bloodpoint gains are increased by 50/75/100 % post Trial.
"Watch out, he has earpods in" - Someone
-
Probably the only time I'd play Hag is by making her 4.6 and never use her traps.
4.4 Hag with traps is the definition of boring.
-
I barely played her before, but I do like her more now because her music is dope.
-
Thank God. Once everyone had the cosmetics, the only thing what was left were Survivors abusing the snowman's because for some reason they acted as a 3rd healthstate.
-

I struggle to understand how she is "unfair" to go against but not OP. If a character can't be countered, it sounds like they just might be OP. I just came back to the game and I've only gone against her three times, but she's had 4ks in every game, and I can't figure out what to do against her yet. I can't use pallets or Dead Hard or windows to prolong chase against her. A killer who takes away everything survivors have certainly seems OP. I guess just being immersed and never interacting with this killer is the way to go. Fun for everyone!
I can certainly see why killers like her though.
Old Legion was a good example of being uncounterable but weak.
If he wanted YOU, he would get you. There were no counters during chases. It took them long to get you because either he hits you 4 times or he moonwals until you bled out.
His 1v4 was weak, gens flied. But he was good at tunneling 1 person.
-
Hey there!
I don't go for slowdown but rather my personal preferences: (Don't use this build if you're new with him as it's mostly tracking)
1. Monitor and Abuse (reduces your TR, therefore possibly reuducing the distance Survivors get because they don't hear you to early.
2. Whispers (To basically find my first chase as fast as possible, helps midgame sometimes and helps after closing the hatch.
3. BBQ and Chili: Blood points an once again, tracking.
4. Infectious Fright: Again, info. I don't slug with it unless I have to.
As for Add-ons.. yeah there so many great Add-ons. (I am joking)
I mainly use range + power duration, double range or no Add-ons.
Those would be:
- Burning Man Photograph
- Wax Doll
- Black Strap
- Tablet of the Oppressor
- Spearhead
- Copper Ring
-
My virtual family:
Me: Loves everyone equally. Does all the taxes and stuff.
Albert the Metalhead (PH): Helps me most of the time, holds everything together and is kind of the "dad" of the family. He has bad acne so he prefers to wear something over his head.
Talbot (Blight): Always rushes off because he overslept again, pretty hectic guy during the day. Everything must go fast according to him. During evening, his Adrenaline cools down where he's a really chill guy.
Michael: Barely talks, usually stands at the window looking at the nature (he loves nature) and he is a great cook, though I'd be more happy if he didn't carry around that knive everywhere we go.
Splitty (Demo): Our house dog. Sometimes he can be quite loud during nights, waking us all up. But he brings us the newspaper every day and is generally a good boy.
Leon&Chris: Currently not at home, still searching for Claire. Though Leon was never really into that idea anyways.
Yun Jin: Went missing, she told me about that Ji Woon guy and that we should watch out for him the last time I talked to her. We are following clues currently.
