I mean, I had a Spirit game yesterday where one had Unbreakble and thanks to only 1 Perk (out of 16) they were able to completely reset after I downed them all because of over altruism.
I still got them all eventually because Spirit.

What I don't like is when a myers has either tombstone add-ons and he has 3 stacks of PWYF, his hand stays closed and it's kinda annoying. I get that it should be obvious if he's stalking for so long and not hitting anyone he has tombstone, but still, just best to always keep his hand open no matter how many stacks you have
The open hand is tied to current movement speed, not the Add-on.
You can have a Myers without tombstone walk really slowly on joystick and his hand will be open as well.
That's also why his hand is open in Tier 1, it's because he moves really slowly (105 %)

I have this one.

Please, the last offerings we got are the 4 useless blueprint junks and the half decent "sacrificial ward".
Please no more junk, or at least make existing offerings worthwile to use.

You can't change your name on Playstation ID the way you can change your nickname on Steam, if that's what you mean. It would be a permanent change and I am unwilling to do that for this psycho.
That sucks. If that occurs again, just wait a few minutes instead of re-queuing instantly so you make sure to not fall into the same lobby again potentially.
-
Well as a Meg it would be my duty to sprint burst into the center of the map, hearing the Terror Radius and then throw every pallet down in the process because of panic.
I think C would fit me well there.
-
If I suspect people recognizing me and then acting like an ass towards me I usually change my pfp and nickname for some time and private my profile.

@EvilJoshy said:
If I was still playing id like to try this build. It's nice to actually use stealth instead of just holding W. If you loop the killer for 3 gens it just feels like your abusing pallets and unfair map layouts. If you actually juke or lose the killer it feels like you out smarted them. My only issue with lockers is if I pull off a disappearing act they usually check the lockers. If I somehow lose the killer 8/10 check the lockers and find me. That's just been my experience.
They usually check lockers yeah, but thanks to Lucky Break they have no indication of where you went, so you might've went anywhere. And yeah I agree, juking the Killer like that is far more fun than the regular "loop, hold W rinse and repeat".
-
Play chase commiting Killers. If you play hit'n run Killers, you'll struggle.
You could bend hit'n run Killers with Perks and Add-ons to make them more into chase Killers.

People said the same thing about Billy...
But some delusional people actually complained about Billy. I see no one complaining about Demo.
-
Demo will never get nerfed. He is the most beloved Killer in the came and it's always fun to play vs him.
-
-
Survivor: We'll make it, BT, Spine Chill and Kindred ( I call it the pip build. This loadout makes sure you get as much points and emblems as possible.)
Spirit: M&A, Agitation, Whispers, BBQ (Basically tracking, pseudo Shadowborn and a bit of faster carrying.)
-
I played against 2 today.
1 baby who didn't know what to do with her power at all and,
1 with MDR + DCB with Pain Res., Pop, Corrupt and Surge.
All in 1 evening. MMR is surely being drunk sometimes.

Haha, Meg go boop.

Glad to see the new weekly Spirit thread. 😊
Anyway, I think that'd be a great idea! Maybe making the passive phasing work on a set time frame, like Old Freddy, and adding that indicator, could make her funner to play and scarier to go against. However, now that I'm saying it, that may be too over-powered.
Also, they'd need to make it so the indicator isn't super annoying and in-your-face. Because that'd get old real fast.
Wait till they do a "Hillbilly roar" to Spirit.
-
@Shroompy said:
I would say make it consistent like every 5 seconds she passive phases and it gives off a visual or audio indicator.
Thing is it might be annoying as well since you have this thing thats constantly bugging you every 5 seconds
As long as the audio doesn't play during phases, I am fine.
But I think her hands disappearing like GannMan said would be cool as well.
Or else, the screen could change to the blue'ish phase colour for a second while a passive phase is happening.

What you can do is equip Gifted Bamboo Comb or White Hair Ribbon for extra charge speed and keep spamming M2 to hear the noise. It’s still pretty satisfying.
I find it less satisfying if it's faster, which doesn't change the fact that White Hair Ribbon is my favourite Add-on.
But if it's slower I find it better, but then.. I never really spammed M2 with her so maybe I'd change my mind.

Yeah that’s why I don’t like the mechanic. It’s very gimmicky and it’s completely RNG. Nothing skillful about it.
I would love to play M1 Spirit as a challenge then. Though I find the cracking sounds of her hands while charging one of the most satisfying things about her.
Guess I'll miss on that one then 🤷

Don’t worry, I still want the phasing sounds coming toward me.
I have Furin equipped, so the sound won't go away now 😊
-
If the passive phasing was more predicatable and set in stone like old Freddy's glimpses, it would be a skillful interaction.
Atm, it's completely random and invisible from the Spirit's PoV, so changing it to be consistent (every 3 or 4 seconds) with an indicator would make that aspect of her more interesting AND make Juniper Bonsai not a complete dogshet Add-on.
-
I've got no problems with it.
Instead of seeing them mess up on my screen I can see them mess up from their screen as well!!!
Or, if the game was really fun then I can see their perspective as well (if they're live because most aren't) and most of the time we have a good chat.

Ok 😞

New strat, hoard 1. Mill BP for the end of the season, hit rank 1 on both sides = 3 Million Bloodpoints.
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!
-
There are well made Anti Loop Killers but also badly made ones.
Demo, Huntress and basekit Blight are probably the best designed Killers chase wise. Not to weak but strong enough with plenty of counterplay other than holding W.
PH at a loop (Survivor is f'd), Artist at a loop (Survivor is f'd), Pinhead (to weak anti loop), Trickster (barely punished for missing, dominates short loops, sucks at tall loops). All those don't have the best counterplay at loops which makes Survivors just leaving loops altogether, which is boring for both sides.
-
She requires huge focus. I noticed that on days where I am stressed and unfocused, I suck with her as I either overphase or underphase towards Survivors or I whiff most my hits after phase.
She's mechanically not difficult, but the player needs a calm mind, (a good headset), and a general idea of Survivor pathing since scratchmarks only won't get you far.
Against good Survivors (who have IW most of the time), you have to understand their pathing. Good Survivors will start to walk once they hear Spirit phasing, which means they don't gain much distance. You can use that info and do short phases against those Survivors, sure you won't get satisfying Grudge Hits but you'll get a potential hit either way since Survivors tend to slowly walk towards the husk, or stand still or go left/right. Doing short phases (2 to 2.5 seconds max. will give them a harder time to juke.
-
4647th anti loop Killer with no interaction whatsoever. Boring to play as and against. There are far more fun anti loop Killers out there.
Gameplay consists of spamming crows to something every 8 seconds.
I played her once since her release and instantly went: "Nah, never again." I find her more boring than Freddy, and that means a lot.
Also, her chase music isn't my style and her sounds are weirding me out.
-
Thanks for the info! Just had time to jump into dbd right now xD

I respect a PH who actually tries to go for trickshots through walls and loops. If I see a PH using their power only when there is an animation lock OR worse, they cancel their power altogether, I lose respect immediately.
A Huntress who tries to cross map someone will always be on my respect list.
Anyone who now plays Deathslinger deserves my respect, and most of the time they get actually good shots.
A Spirit who doesn't use MDR+DCB or MDR+Yakuyoke gets my respect.
Any Billy Player. And if they try to curve, I'll simp for them.
disrespect..
Legion.. I just can't take those seriously and I'll mend as soon as they hit me.

I feel like it's really strange considering they've only recently teased the Ringu chapter. I'm probably thinking too deeply but I feel like it's more than just a sale.
I'm hoping we get a surprise Ghostface change this midchapter which wasn't in the PTB, but that's probably not gonna happen.
- They're not gonna do a change without a PTB,
- They're not gonna change anything from the PTB anyways (except nerfing stuff even further), so it's wishful thinking.

Bruh those survivors probably don't even know how his addons work
I mean, after that Kate went down I would've went to alarm mode immediately. Those Survivors were just casually running through the woods, picking flowers and not paying attention at all.
-
You're right @everyone. It's probably because of the sale, but look at Twitter, I only see Ghostface there now as well xD
-
@jesterkind said:
Huh, it's been Huntress for you guys? It's been Trapper for me for ages, and it still is right now.
Regarding the question, though, I think it's because the Ghostface DLC is on sale right now. That being said, there's probably a reason for that sale, so who knows what that is.
Or was it Trapper? Might've been, it was Huntress for so long so it burned into my mind already. But seeing Ghostface there was the first thing I noticed as a change.
-
Let's pretend that this isn't LilithOmen who is probably the second best or probably THE best Blight Main in EU. A casual player would never achieve this so easily.
Also, those Survivors seemed pretty clueless. If I were that Ash, I would've hugged the next strongest tile which would've been that first jungle gym, and make sure he doesn't get that last rush hit on me.
Only a very good Blight against bad Survivors would achieve that, and that's what happened.
-
I like this Perk on indoor maps, but a 16 second cooldown... really?
I understand that it needs something because of Perk Tiers, but it could've been like 6/5/4 seconds of cooldown instead. That's like the last Perk which needs a cooldown in my opinion.

So basically it was a free win. That is insane why would you play as any other killer besides Billy as I've heard that he used to be top three.
Billy was hugely overrated. He was quite strong with instasaw or crack billy, but nowhere near top 3.

5 to 6 blinks! That is crazy man I'm so glad I wasn't around for that.
That wasn't the only thing.
She also had range Add-ons but due to an oversight, those Add-ons buffed range, speed and charge speed. Those were referred as the Omega Blink Add-ons.
So you could use Fragile Wheeze (1 extra blink with no downside before) combined with Ataxic Respiration (Omega Blink Add-on) to have 3 buffed Chain Blinks.
Omega Blink Nurse also used the range Add-ons, which buffed the distance while not having a debuff to charge speed, which meant that you could reach a destination much faster and with less charge time much quicker than basekit Nurse could.
Old Nurse was insane.
-
When Huntress was first released, I had this issue. Even if playing against someone else, I always heard her lullaby.
-
It's been like that since her release, I thought everyone would know that by now.
Also, it's quite irrelvant now with her mostly having 2 blinks.
Old Nurse could have up to 5 or even 6 blinks, so this helped quite a lot in the past.

Kinda weird, I can relate to you a lot. I am a past Executioner main but got tired of him a lot. After the Spirit "nerf" I am in love with chase music, too. Maybe I'll get inspired by you enough. Do you happen to know how her woosh works now in connection to her TR? Just curious why are you running Monitor and Abuse?
But playing a killer that relies on sound is my guilty pleasure. Just wanted to play some Oni before, to get acquainted with the family...
Also, I guess I'm a perfectionist and afraid to suck with her lol. But I'll try my best
Monitor and Abuse is my comfy Perk as I refuse to use Shadowborn. M&A is the non addictive version. It's not really that practical otherwise since you can hear her moaning sounds up to like 16 to 18 metres away.
Also, I think her woosh is locked as a directional sound at 24 metres or less, not Terror Radius depended. So I don't think her directional audio can have less range with M&A.. BUT I am not sure, it might even work like that.
-
I get frustrated as Killer sometimes, but damn.. a Survivor day like today made me play Killer for the rest of the day.
Having rough Survivor games and 2 IQ teammates will just force me to play Killer all day, and I find it more fun tbh.
Started today as Survivor, first match someon dc's, 2nd match 2 people down and 1 on hook while I try to do a gen... Survivor just grinds my gears.
-
Yeah, let me just swim over the Atlantic real quick.

I'm not gonna lie, your 2 sentences made me want to play Rin more. I've always had a sweet spot for her, but so far I don't feel competent enough with her. Maybe I'll try train more and repeat your strats
Her chase music really boils my blood, I get a rush as soon as it starts and then I go on killing spree.
When I play her I am constantly in chase, till the last one is downed.
I probably did around 40 Spirit matches already since I changed from a PH Main to a Spirit Main (4 or 5 days ago) and lost 3, with all of the losses being a Brutal Killer result.
Just did my last match on the Game, I was more focused than ever.
I also don't run slowdown usually, Corrupt is an exception if I feel like it. But my Main Build is M&A, BBQ, Whispers, Brutal or Agitation.
I mostly play without Add-ons but if I do I love to use White Hair Ribbon with Muddy Sports Day cap.
Last sentence, just try her. Use your ears and predictions to hunt your prey. Can't describe how I do it with Spirit, I use my focus and instinct, but it's so much fun and rewarding.

I love how the term survivor rule book is a universally known term in the dbd community yet survivors swear they don't try to tell killers how to play.
The killer rule book doesn't exist I've seen survivors try and bring it up but it's never stuck I wonder why that is.
Yeah, that's Survivors hypocrisy. Pretending that something doesn't exist (Survivor rule book) but at the same time complaining or dc'ing about every little inconvenience.
