Work and a bit of a break from the forums, but mostly work
I understand. Glad to have you back soldier.
And yeah, the forums can be tough sometimes, hope you're fine.
Sincerely, Dardon.

Me when I wanna kick myself in the teeth
Didn't see you in a while. Were've you been?
-
I throw pallets down...
and lift them up again.
-
When Gift of Pain released I thought Scourge Hooks would be visible to Survivors. I was proven wrong, and that's for the better. I don't think Survivors should tell which hook is a scourge hook and which not.
-
I think my first ever build on PH was Corrupt, BBQ, Haunted Grounds and Infectious Fright. Got me quite a few downs, but that was pretty early when I didn't use his power to much.
-
It used to
beplay Billy in the old old old days (2016), then Myers for a long time, then I played everyone for variety and still do now, but PH is my favourite. And yeah, he is quite rare, so I always get in a good mood when I face one.
-
The Executioner.
Played him before his "nerf" last year and A LOT after his "nerf".
The reason I started using him a lot is that I really liked his power. (I played him from time to time until I really started loving him).
Shooting trough walls, predicting where Survivors path.
Baiting to lead a shot but then shooting towards the original position so Survivors run back into my shot.
Doing flick shots and more.
I also love his M1 post hit animation, idk... it feels really satisfying to hit someone with the big knife and the sound it makes when he hits it on the ground after the animation ends. His big knife feels devestating. (No ambiguity intended)
Hours. I don't know, but it would be quite a lot by now.
Percentigewise, I don't really care. I play for fun. I could statistically be the worst PH, as long as I have fun hitting really good PotD's, I am happy.

They also gave away Davids Jacket and these BBQ summer skins.
Yeah I know. But people were mostly upset because of the Hound mask. It's one of the best skins and definitely THE best event skin.
Or it's just iconic, I like it more than her base mask.

Didnt the devs said there wont be any exclusives anymore..?
Wasnt that the reason why they gave some event skins for free to everyone who didnt earned them back then?
Yeah, it was mainly the Hound Mask. Because people earned it and then they gave it to everyone.
Now they do those exclusives again...

People keep saying this build. But reality is that's not the strongest blight build 🤣🤣🤣. They just run in to mediocre blights that crutch on it
Because it's the most used one.
I would love to see Blights with Enfury or Blood Flavour.
Or any other Perks to be honest.
-
He is one of the most balanced Killers in the game. He takes patience, a calm mind and alot of playtime to play him well.
The thing which makes him annoying to go against is his Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer/BBQ build and some of his Add-ons.
I don't want him to become the next Spirit, altough Spirit wasn't gutted.. it was actually a good change.
But yeah, like everyone said.. rather buff the weaker Killers to make them strong. Maybe not as strong as Nurse but definitely as strong as Blight or just a little weaker.
-
Well, I main Pyramid Head. I wouldn't say he's underrated, pretty much everyone agrees that he is quite strong.
He is just a rare sight to see :'(

Next patch should be the mid-chapter, which if my thinking on the timing is correct should include a balance pass on Mikaela and her perks, including Boons Circle of Healing and Shadowstep. (Does anybody use Clairvoyance? I hardly ever see that mentioned in the forums.)
Clairvoyance is actually decent. I thought it worked like Detective's Hunch where you would see all the stuff for 10 seconds after pressing E.
But it works like a map, you can use it for a duration of 10 seconds, so you get the info when you need it.

I own one of them, such a cool skin(s) but I never see someone using them, sadly. I don't even rememeber last time I saw legion with this skin. Maybe last year if any.
It's because the Killer becomes really tall, making it harder to mindgame with an otherwise pretty short Killer.

Trash Tier.

Basically yeah. Just did a 9 hour run. Me and my friends built a base inside a huge cavern beneath our outdoor-base.

Just be careful of the big dudes, the wardens i think theyre called
They're not there yet. They'll come with the next big update.
Improved and scarier with the Adventure Update.

Hope you enjoy the exploration
Thanks. Definitely will, after the exciting tour yesterday I am even more hyped now.
-
Now watch it overperform and get nerfed to 5 % in the next midchapter.
-
Does Trickster count as a weaker Killer? If yes, I like playing him quite a lot.
Had to go trough every Killer but the most weaker ones are quite boring to me as well.
-
never saw it. But yeah, probably something similar.

@Leachy_Jr said:
Nah killers wont leave this time, if anything this patch looks promising (especially if they nerf CoH).
I bet that:
- New killer will get nerfed
- Map is survivor sided
- Map is removed for some time
- A few bugs
A flying book inside the main building seemed to be 2-D so we've decided the disable the map for 3 months.
-
What Killer do you main? Maybe spend points to get as many Meme Add-ons as possible.
Pyramid Head and Myers don't have any unfortunately. I'll probably go for 1000 Tombstone Pieces. I already have around 90 of them.
-
A Survivor of the Mac Millan mine disaster.
New Killer: The Miner
Map: Mac Millan Mines/Caves
Power: I have no idea because I didn't think of it yet, but probably something with dynamite.
-
I just hope the game is in a playable state, regardless of balance buffs or nerfs.
So hopefully no 3 million bugs.
-
He is.. alright I'd say. He can bit a wee bit... nah I won't go this way, but he is very good with Bamboozle. He gets rid of windows with it and his Chainsaw gets rid of pallets really fast.
But again, he has no mobility and playing safe and predropping pallets is a good strat if Survivors do gens fast. Gens go faster than Bubba can get rid of pallets. But yeah, unefficient Survivors will make it quite easy for Bubba to dominate.
He is a bit uncreative, but he always was. He could use some changes, mainly to his camping aspect.

So you don't run Ruin?
I don't run any slowdown. I don't care about winning so I go for more fun builds, or random Perks.
My win is getting 8 hooks, good chases and 4 escapes so everyone gets alot of points.
-
I refuse to use Dead Hard because it's an overpowered mess if used right.
Killer side.. probably Noed, it rewards bad plays so I don't use it. I don't like it because it's cheap, not overpowered.

Thats fine when you set up yourself for the win. Lethal Pursuer makes that I can go into a chase immediatly with Blight. Or that I know where to go with Killers who might have a rough early game, like Myers or Oni.
Yeah but I don't really care about the win to much. I rather go for Whispers to find someone quickly.. if I go for own builds.
At the moment I play Perk/Item/Add-on randomizer on both sides so the chance of getting Lethal 9 seconds is kinda there.

Ah, they're so scared, as evidenced by... an in-game event planned months in advance, to coincide with a holiday of sorts about savings/deals.
What do you mean? They watched a video on YT saying that there is a chance it might be because of VHS and now claims it is 100 % because of VHS.
YT videos are always right so they trust them.
This was sarcasm.
-
I wrote instadown Killers in the chat and it turned out "######### Killers" instead.
-
My Killer would lose to my Survivor because Survivors are generally the power role.
Would be funny to facecamp myself and trash talk to myself in the end game chat because my biased Survivor Main self and my biased Killer Main self wouldn't get along to well.
-
It's ok, but I can't live with the fact that I have a Perk for 9 seconds and then have to play with 3 Perks.
-
Good against average, trash against good Survivors.. pretty much like every Killer in A and B Tier.
I'd say he is more B because he wastes to much time shocking and getting the initial hit and do that again for a down.
-
I hate that map as Survivor tbh.
Every pallet where I run to is used once I get chased because the map has no windows at all I can use in case the default Meg decides to meep meep around the map throwing every pallet against Bubba because for some reason that's the only Killer I go against on this map.
And also, everytime I run into a room, the room is blocked by a gen door and a breakable door so I am pretty much doomed when entering any room because I somehow end up in those everytime.
I really should use Windows of Opportunity more.
-
It's probably because of our beatiful MMR.
Killers sweat and camp hooks and tunnel people to death.
Sweatsquads who are sticked onto gens and do their daily ritual of clicking and bagging.
People become selfish because of it and drop BP only for themselves. It didn't use to be like that but here we are.
-
Well, I use a build to combat what annoys me on solo.
- Having Kindred and going to second stage.
- Not being able to be healed because for some reason when I need my teammates, I am alone on the map.
- Getting tunneled.
So I created the following. It's not the most viable build but it helps for these situations.
- Up the Ante
- Slippery Meat
- Decisive Strike
- Boon: Circle of Healing
The reason I don't use Deliverance is basically that if you're found first, the Perk is rendered uselss, so I'd rather go for the more safer option of having 6 attempts with a higher chance to jump off the hook. DS, so if I jump off the hook first try and the Killer downs me and picks me up, I can use DS on them. And CoH because it outclasses every other healing Perk and I also don't want to rely on an item every match so I use a Perk instead.
-
No, Starstruck requires a Terror Radius. While undetectable, there is no Terror Radius and it doesn't work.
There is a meme strat with Nemesis and Starstruck where you destroy a zombie with a specific Add-on which makes you undetectable, pick up a Survivor and hope for a bodyblock. While undetectable they won't have the effect of Startstruck but as soon as the effect ends, you spam M1 at them with Mad Grit and Agitation while they ######### their pants.
Oblivious removes the Terror Radius on the Survivors part so every Terror Radius requiering effect doesn't work on a oblivious Survivor.
-
Many people prefer the chase playstyle, and Hag is the excact opposite of it so almost no one plays her because of it. I also don't necessarely think that boons destroy Hag, it makes her weaker sure, but so makes it every Killer. Though Twins are getting really hurt by CoH and the upcoming Boon: Unbreakable.
-
Who's gonna tell him?
-
Botany is a cute Perk, quite useful. It helps to get heals done in time, sometimes with the normal 16 second heals you don't get it in time, BK helps in most situations and overall saves time.
Empathy only gives information, but this information can also be useful to see if a Survivor drags the Killer towards your position so you can search for safety before it's to late, you can also use this information to pre-run for a potential hook safe. It's also a hard counter to Knock Out (that is if anyone actually uses it). Though Blindness makes Empathy useless.
I would probably go for Botany, it's an overall impact to the game rather than only information, but since Botany is Lvl 35, you get both so you can use both. And both also work quite well together (makes sense since it's 2 teachables from the same character).
-
Also the upstair front windows on the Myers house seem to be removed. Only the back balcony window seems to be open.
-
Playable? Yes.
Less enjoyable? Also yes.
His nerf just made him less enjoyable, which is the case for most Killer nerfs (except Spirit) but didn't make them really weaker or anything.
-
He's better, but not S-Tier. His anti loop is still crap/takes to long if you try to down a Survivor.
His general map pressure is decent, with or without Engineers Fang.
But it's getting nerfed so his anti loop will be even worse now with the Add-on.
What I don't really get is the fact that they nerfed some Add-ons no one uses, Iri. Configuration for example.
-
Atm, Pyramid Head is my main. Let's say they do a Deathslinger on him which could potentially happen then I'll probably switch to Myers, Blight or Spirit.
Myers because he was my main once, Blight because he was my 2nd and I could always go back to him and Spirit because I started to enjoy her.
As Survivor, my main is Yun-Jin. If she was removed it would either be Zarina or Jill.
-
Dbd was fun while it was casual.
If you are good, you get high MMR, which means you go against top players.. which means games are gonna be unfun because the devs balance around casuals.
So don't get good I guess.
-
Surge, Oppression, Dragon's Grip, I'm all Ears.
Those 4 for me.

Quite a stretch that you say that you dont really get to use PGTW but then say that No Way Out becomes meta, when their requirements are the same: Getting Hooks.
A gen usually gets popped right before you get to the gen with Pop.

It was back in 2016 with 2 friends (1 I still play dbd with and the other was once a IRL friend, but he quit playing around the end of 2016 and also did some crap so me and my other IRL friends have no contact with him anymore.)
It was shortly after Myers came out, he was really scary to go against because he was quite the unusual Killer back then (looking like a normal human, no heartbeat, just silence and fear.)
I used to snack during matches back then and stopped because of the following incident.
I was eating peanuts... casually, when Myers came around the corner in Tier 1 and smacked me... I almost choked on that little sh** of a peanut till I managed to shoot it out like a canon. They just laughed their asses off while I was still paralyzed of what just happened.
I've had a few stuff happening in this game in the past but this one always comes back to my mind.
