110% Trapper. He has the more powerful Traps and the ability to end a game with one good play.
Also he looks way cooler than Hag tbh... -
sure. as soon as survivors who joined my lobby with a 500 ping stop calling me a lagswitcher, or i get called a lagswitcher if i have a slight lag/FPS drop (e.g. on the map The Game, idk why, but i mostly get FPS drops there...) when its obvious that this lag affected me too and screwed over my hunt as well as their chase.
Some ppl just call anyone a lagswitcher who has a slight lag in his lobby. -

i camp when i want to camp. You cant do anything about that. But what you can do something about is weather you win the round or die too.
Camping got nerfed several times now, it does not pay off anymore, except with altruistic survivors.
And since you seem to have a problem with letting one person die, so you all run into the killer for some free sacrifices, no one will stop camping, since it pays off 90% of the time. You do the gens and gtfo -> killer loses -> happens multiple times -> killer stops camping, since it doesnt pay off and all he does is de pip/save pip. also you are out of the camper ranks after some rounds.
You try to rescue the camped person -> killer catches you too -> you both die -> already payed off. now there are still gens left and the killer still has some free time to kill a 3rd.
maybe you understand this now.
i save when i want to save. You cant do anything about that. But what you can do something about is weather you win the round or cry like a baby killer.
Camping got buffed several times now, it does not pay off anymore, except with altruistic survivors.
And since you seem to have a problem with us survivor speaking up, maybe you should stop camping and move to the next person
You hook the survivor and gtfo -> killer loses -> happens multiple times -> killer stops camping, since it does pay off and all he does is de pip/save pip. also you are out of the camper ranks after some rounds.maybe you understand this now.
I kinda like the idea of you to copy my comment and then slightly reworking it, so it fits in your opinion.
But since it's still my comment, let me make some things clear:
"I save when I want to save. You cant do anything about that" False. I'd like to see you trying though, since that would mean less Emblem Points for you and more kills for me.
"But what you can do something about is weather you win the round or cry like a baby killer." True. and since I mostly win my rounds with an 4k, I rarely complain about stuff. If I do, its either about totem spawns or gen rushing. Also, beleave me when I tell you this: I am defenitely NOT a baby Killer.
" Camping got buffed several times now" If you say so. What about this: you give me a list of camping Buffs and I give you a list of camping Nerfs. Sounds fair, eh? Also you forgot to edit the rest of this sentence to your favour, so it doesnt really make any sense...
" And since you seem to have a problem with us survivor speaking up, maybe you should stop camping and move to the next person" I dont have any problem with anyone speaking up, as long as they complain about actual problems. Not like most of you Survivors do. Also, how do you want to know that I'm camping? I doubt you've ever played a round against me, since you wouldnt be able to say that then. But I guess everyone who defends camping as an intended strategy is automatically a camper himself, right?
"You hook the survivor and gtfo -> killer loses -> happens multiple times -> killer stops camping, since it does pay off and all he does is de pip/save pip. also you are out of the camper ranks after some rounds." Sry, I just had to mark what you cnaged here, since I'm pretty sure a lot of people wouldnt even notice that. Also, you do know you need to change A LOT more stuff from that statement in order to have it making sense, right? Right now, it's just unnecessary that you even did that. -

The Trapper indeed needs to hold more traps by default and resetting them without having to pick them up would also be a great QoL change!
The one bad thing about his rework though is his new animation... ugh... that looks sooo bad .-.Of course it does they just speed it up
They didnt just speed it up. They gave him a completely new animation. Check it out for yourself if you dont beleave me.
-
you do know, that Killers ALWAYS loose their Add-Ons at the end of the game, right?
Survivors dont. So why do you complain, if you lost it once or twice because of a Perk? Us killers loose them all the time! And do you see us complain about it? cause I dont. -
- i agree to that one 100%. gens get done way too quick.
- this is the only part where the survivor and the killer actively compare their skill. if you take this away, a lot of survivors would quit - and i would actually understand them this time. you just gotta learn the counters to jukes instead of complaining about them.
- it is normal, that a survivor gets some additional speed after the hit for a short periode of time, so he can build distance to the killer. but i have to admit, that it wuld make much more sense, when an injured survivor runs slower than a healthy survivor. the speed boost after the hit has to stay though.
- i agree to that one. hook blocking is super toxic. also, it got removed for the killers, why is it still a thing for survivors? ;-; it still has a simpple counter though: drop the person you are wearing and smack the blockers. then pick them back up and hook them. they still blocked you and the person got off? who cares! you got a new guy right under the hook now!
- what if he didnt find the hatch? will he be simply showen to you then? i think a good indicator would be, that he gets crows over his head, like when they are standing too long at one place, if he stays ingame for too long. lets say 1 crow every 2 minutes. that way he still has 6 minutes left, before his location is revealed to you, in order to find the hatch.
Also, what that guy did to you is called "taking the game hostage" and he can get banned for that. just report him to the devs (and make sure to bring video proof, otherwise they wont be able to do a lot)

Tschuldige wenn ich deinen Traum zerbreche, aber:
1. Du spielst meist Survivor. Merkt man anhand dieses Posts.
2. Das Spiel geht immer weiter in Richtung Killer. Stimmt.

Playing devil's advocate here, so please do not be offended and think I'm just shooting down ideas, I'm just trying to provide constructive criticism. You've got some pretty good ideas here. I just like to point out potential issues so we can try to come up with workarounds.1: This is actually a pretty interesting sounding perk. It would work really well with a hex build, along with devour hope, ruin, and TOTH. They'd want to get rid of the hexes, but getting rid of the hexes is a huge risk.
2: I fear this one would make basement camping too powerful. The thing that sticks out in my mind in particular is the hag. Typically you ain't crouching out of there before she gets back. If she sticks a trap at the top and bottom of the stairs, you need to crouch the entire way up the stairs and out of the basement, otherwise you'll set off the trap and she'll teleport back. It's a lose-lose because even if you do crouch all the way out, she'll have plenty of time to just walk back. The only practical counter is to heal before leaving, giving you a buffer hit on the way out. With this perk, you could not get that buffer hit. Getting hooked in the basement once would be a death sentence.
3: Great idea, but this would be a little awkward. I feel comfortable saying that most people just slap their perks on in any order. Having it go by the order you equipped them would be confusing for most people, and abuse-able by others (putting their best perks on last to prevent them from getting disabled, or self-care in the last slot to help counter it). Might be better if it just picked a random perk for each survivor.
4: I would cut the repair penalty. At two hooks each, that's a whopping 40% slower repairs. That's almost as slow as the dream world. 80% longer healing times are pretty significant, so I would argue that the repair speed is ultimately redundant since they'll be spending so much time healing. 80% would mean 60 seconds(!) from a regular medkit/fellow survivor heal, 120(!!) from self-care. That's huge.
Unless the tokens are per survivor, of course, not shared between all survivors.
5: This one does just sound way overpowered to me. I think it would be okay to reduce it by ~10%, then leave the rest to regular regression, which could be stopped like a usual kick. Keep in mind you'd also be able to force three generators in close proximity much easier this way. But knocking a generator all the way back down to 0 from full would be wicked OP as is, let alone three times per match. Not to mention that would make Pop Goes the Weasel completely irrelevant.
I almost feel like this one would be better as a base mechanic than a perk. If the survivors are steamrolling over the killer, the entity has pity on them and gives them an extra chance.
6: Just going to math this one.
Tier 3 = 5% faster per stack. Max 5 stacks. 25% faster. Assuming 4.6m/s base speed, we're talking about 5.75m/s, a total of 1.75m/s gained on the average survivor (4.0m/s). This means to close a gap of 32m (two tiles), you'd only need about 18 seconds. Granted, that's only once all the generators are done, but a 20% speed boost will still yield almost the same results.
It's just too much for something that's always active. I also feel like NOED already does this but in a more balanced way. The speed boost it provides is smaller, but it feels a lot more fair to play against. It doesn't feel like you're playing against Sonic.
7: Sounds sorta' interesting, although against good survivors, this will really only ever come into play on unsafe pallets. Safe pallets will still need to be broken anyway, or else you'd just be wasting your time for 20 seconds until the entity breaks it.
8: Seems okay. I don't know how powerful this would be though. Typically you'll hear a chest if you're close anyway, they're crazy loud. I don't feel like lockers get enough use for me to warrant using a perk slot just to detect them. Most of the time it's pretty obvious when someone's hiding in a locker anyway.
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it!

But let me just add some things to what you said, since it seemed like some stuff was unclear:I'm glad you like the idea
I wanted to implement a Perk like this for a long time, since it's really annoying when your totem gets destroyed asap and you didnt even get the chance to defend it. This way, Survivors would finally have to figure out, weather they are really cursed or its just a trap from the Killer, so they cant just kill every Hex totem they see asap. It'll also grant the Killer a little bonus for loosing one of his 4 Perk slots.I agree with that. I didnt think about the Hag, when i wrote this comment, it would be incredible strong on her. Even though, the Perk does only affect 2 Survivors. If a 3rd Survivor were in the Basement, they could tank a hit and let everyone escape the basement stairs. Maybe the perk would be better, if we add an cooldown timer on it? like 80/70/60 seconds of cooldown after every use.
I thought about that too, but i kinda dislike the idea to rely completely on luck, weather your (most needed) Perk gets taken away or not. I wanted to add something, so Survivors would have to think about where they put a Perk in their loadout, and what are their most important Perks.
The 5/7/10% penality would only affect the hooked Survivor. It would be waay too strong if it would affect the whole team. I just wanted to give Killers a reason to stop tunneling one down, since he'd be slower on gens anyway, so it would be much better to get someone else to slow down the game for him too. Since everyone would only be able to get hooked 2 times before death, they could get a maximum of -20% action speed, which is about the same level Dying Light gives you, with the difference, that this Perk will only be able to show its full potential in the end game, since it would still require 8 out of 12 possible hooks to become that strong.
I didnt really think this Perk would have any chance to be added tbh, but i just wanted to make the Suggestion. originally I wanted to make this Perk affect Exit gates only, but I thought, Hey, why not gens too? So i rewrote it a bit. Ihave to admit, I got a little bit inspired by Identity V, since Killers over there also have the power to turn back time to A: reset a cipher machine back to 0 (which has not been completed) or revive a rocket chair which has been destroyed. I understand why this Perk will probaply never get implemented, but i wanted to finally have a tool against gen rushing...
I could agree to put a Hex infront of this one... The reason why i didnt do that earlier is, because i have one general problem with Hex Perks: They tend to blow up within 1 minute in the game, so I wanted to avoid creating Hex Perks. the whole point of this was to give the Killer a better map pressure. Killers like Wraith, Leatherface, Freddy, etc. literally dont have any map pressure at all. With this perk it would be way easier to patrol the last 3 gens, even if they were far away from each other.
just a little QoL idea for Killers who tend to play around Pallets instead of breaking them all.
Just sounded interesting to me... I dont rly think this is a very strong Perk eighter, but it would definitely come in handy in certain situations (e.g. the basement or the crotus prenn asylum, since this house has A LOT of lockers. Also nice on Huntress to always know where you can refill in a 32 meter radius)
Again, Thanks for the feedback! Even if it was mostly critisism, this helps me to become better at this in future and learn from my mistakes!
Glad you took the time reading all of this (since it is a lot)
See you in the fog! -
It depends on my earlier game.
4k - I play normal
3k, 1 escape - I try to get the 4k next time
2k, 2 escapes - I ask myself what I did wrong this round and try to play better in the next round
1k, 3 escapes - I try my best to not get defeated again
4 escape - I smack my head against a wall, until the wall tells me to stop. (unless its very obvious, that i stood no chance. I've had these rounds, where I could do nothing else but watch them loop and genrush me to death.)
4 escape + toxicity - expect a red mori in my next round. AND NO MERCY! (if that round also fails, I quit DbD for the day and try again the next day, since its obvious that my concentration is gone.) -
i'm 99% sure this is a troll...
-
i garee. i really like the changes they made, but the animation is soooooooo bad.
i'd rate it a B. its good, but its not great. -
since every killer i tend to use is P3 lvl 50 all perks, thats not a problem for me

Missing Healing skill checks and being healed out of dying shouldn't wake you up. What They could do is turn blood warden into a hex and make the duration last indefinitely until the hex is destroyed.Just make it trigger like NOED. Also disable the ability to heal and repair generators while in injured the dream world. You could also keep the survivor in the dream world when they're hooked and unhooked. That Bloodwarden idea could be fun, if the killer couldn't stand in the way to cleanse the totem and afk lol.
I'm glad you like my blood warden idea! Blood Warden currently can just be waited out by hiding till it's ove or having the other survivor's unhook you . I also think that while the hex is active that survivors aura's should be revealed to you for 30 seconds after it activates. If not that make it nullify borrowed time since that is part of the issues with Freddy
i also really like that BW idea. and since someone asked earlier, if noed or BW would affect the last standing totem, why dont keep the point where BW only activates after someone got hooked?

Trapper gets screwed over super fast by people who know where his traps are! Before 2.1.0 I'd definitely agree anything that lets you see his traps may be a bit unfair. However with recent buffs and also considering his traps respawn I don't see the harm in such a change to Detective's Hunch. After all to even benefit from the perk you need to personally be on the generator when it's finished to see the aura so at max you can only proc it 5 times.
first off, the Trapper buff didnt make him a great killer. It fixed his (before the buff really horrible) add-ons, made him place Traps faster and made his Traps respawn after a sabotage, but that does not make him a great killer. The whole strength of the Trapper is to outsmart people by placing Traps around an area where they'd never expect it. If they get another perk which shows the Traps, his setup will be gone within seconds, which makes him a worse killer than Wraith. Trapper definitely does not need any nerfs. What he needs is a new Trap place animation (seriously. The new animation is sh*t.)
