Funny cause I feel like as a survivor I get downed from so far away looping around filler pallets even though I’m closer. Are the survivors hit boxes increased when they are closer to pallets? Are pallet stun windows bigger playing killer? Hit validation might play a role in this..
-
I personally think nemesis is very unfun to go against and boring. His T2/T3 whip lingers a hitbox that’s grossly unnecessary. His zombies zone good survivors that know how to loop in only to a demise of unhealthy unsatisfying gameplay. Another boring killer where if you vault as a survivor you die and if you don’t vault you still die..
Please don’t buff this killer..

The Artist and Nemesis
-
Blows my mind to see Freddy as the top least killer played…
- Twins
- For how new she really is compared to other killers releasing The Artist
- Hag/ Deathslinger
-
Z walls and other single square/tall rectangle pieces of walls on the outside of maps are good against nurse when holding W and provide some loss of los.. Its actually tricky for nurse players to blink and follow up with an m1/ second blink when the survivor can just go around the other side of the single wall or time the vault from the z wall very quickly..

The reason why I'm asking is that I normally play survivor during the daytime and killer at night. However, at night, when I want to grab some food or do a challenge I play a few survivor games as the longer survivor queue gives me time.
Normally, I only occasionally get stomped as survivor once or twice (and sometimes that's just a solo queue issue) and then the next few games are fine; a few escapes, a few I get sacrificed but I get to play and have fun. Recently, my waits have gotten longer though and when I do get matched with a killer it's not the intermediate level killer; it's the full gen slowdown build that's, honestly, kind of wasted since it's not a bug, meet windshield game due to the killer's skill it's more of a bug meet windshield and then get your remains thrown in a woodchipper type game.
Do you think this is more of an issue due to problems with the killer role causing killers to drop out? Are newer killers becoming discouraged and dropping out? Or is this more of an issue with MMR mechanics?
What do you mean drop out?. Like are you referring to nobody playing weaker killers like pig, trapper legion etc? Survivor queue times have always been longer compared to the AM and it’s always been like that.. Meet windshield?

Hillbilly with double engravings
Super fun snd satisfying curving survivors around gyms and strong pallets.

Yeah. Pre Artist patch, I was using Plaything+Retribution on almost every non-stealth killer as it provided a ton of 'passive pressure' - survivors don't like being Oblivious and so have to go and hunt for the totem.
The main problem I found was that coordinated groups, even at my intermediate-ish MMR could just ignore the totems and rely on coms or game sense and then I was basically down two perk slots.
I'm finding that 'passive regression' - stuff that damages gens while I just do my thing works like a charm now. Surge+PR on Hag, Cenobite, Doctor and Ghostface is incredibly consistent, with the exception of the occasional match where I get pants s-hook spawns.
I wish the devs would buff jolt. The cool down is too long..
-
Another nice thing about plaything is survivors have to actively seek out the totem rather then doing the main objective.
-
Those 50wins in a row with each killer he does, impressive to a degree but the majority of those matches are against literal Bambi survivors. Otzdarva has a rumored photographic memory and relates a lot of situations playing killer to every single little nook and cranny of gameplay from the past to present which leaves him to be an overrated redundant streamer/killer imo..
-
This is really no different from saying there’s hardly any good billy players anymore.
-
I heard she’s actually bugged rn. No flock of crows aura reading sometimes. Dire crows not injuring survivors when shot at point blank..

People people...as I've said in the title...I've never rage quit before...geez...
“But my DC penalty was at half and hr”
That tells everyone you’ve DCd either raging or other reasons. You didn’t state it was your internet anywhere..
-
Killer is harder to play then survivor.. There
-
Why is your dc time so high? Are you playing killer at a higher SBMM and getting frustrated? Are you getting downed too quick by certain killers you find unfun to go against?
-
Id youtube Otzdarva and look up a beginner guide to killer and survivor.
-
Literally ANY indoor map. Lerys, RPD, Hawkins (thank god that map is gone 🙏) The Game
-
I mean when you reach a level of skill with nurse at the highest potential she’s pretty much unbeatable unless played in competitive against coordinated teams like oracle, agony etc…
My take on skill is the satisfaction you get from downing good survivors due to the amount of time you invested developing mechanical skill with the particular killer you’re playing. Like for example double engravings billy, very very satisfying curving good survivors around gyms and truck/car pallets..

Seeing nearly every survivor run it doesn't seem very fine to me...
Also survivors consistently timing it as you attack is usually a cheat. There's an auto dead hard cheat.
I would much rather deal with deadhard then Sprintburst as sprintburst has literally zero conterplay and trust me if the devs nerf deadhard then going against frequent sprintburst gamers will be more miserable..
When survivors “consistently timing their DH” is actually skill. That means the survivor was patient enough to have calculated distance and timing over the killer to Deadhard to a vault/ greed another loop.. Deadhard has too much counterplay to be nerfed or reworked. I rarely see survivors deadhard for distance properly or even get to use it without me baiting it out for an easy down… That perk is soooo easy to bait out it’s laughable..
The only time I find DH annoying is when I’m M2ing with billy only and they just eat my chainsaw and keep going lmao!!!
Cookiebear name some examples that you find annoying about really really really good survivors using deadhard? Because i truthfully think that 85% of the time you can bait out that perk and work around it easily providing you have enough map knowledge and experience as killer.
-
I don’t think reworking deadhard/nerfing it would really solve the issue with it because it’s fine where it is. The issue imo is how much strong rng good survivors can conveniently and consistently deadhard to on the spot.
-
From a survivor stand pov Nemesis is very unfun to go against especially if the nemesis is patient with his whip.. The devs kinda recently buffed him and made him faster in T3 while he is pulling out his whip.. His zombies in certain cases seem very oppressive and annoying to deal with all while trying to dodge his whip and can literally cut you off in gyms to point where you just get zoned in.
There are also many many many situations to where especially in T3 his whip effect will linger and survivors will get hit while running back into it..
-
I think these new Crotus maps have got to be the worst. Old Crotus was honestly more tolerable (and prettier) for killer to deal with. I’ve seen rng on Chapel to where shack vaults literally straight into a long wall vault which then can be chained into main building vaults.. 🤮

Backwater swamp desperately needs a graphical rework, qol change and just an overall balance overhaul. Grim pantry especially is garbage..

He had the head on stun that lasted around 12 seconds. Managed to get him down during end game collapse and TRIED to let him die to egc but he teleported last minute from the ground and escaped just as egc ended. Filed a report through game and his Steam profile. But does BHVR actually do anything to ban these people?
I’ve filed numerous reports on subtle hackers and still run in to the exact same ones weeks later…
-
Im not sure if the anti cheat even monitors subtle hacking which imo is very common at high MMR.
-
I would much rather get 8 hooks by playing fair and get 4 mand out then getting 1-4 kills by just camping survivors for full hook states.
Mindset over matter in this situation, camping survivors isint going to make you better at the game nor is it going to make you feel good. Idk about you but if I get 6-10 hooks against 4 really really good survivors and get 2-4ed then that’s a win in my books..
Its no different when a killer gets zero hooks the entire game but 1 hook kills all 4 survivors because they have noed during end game collapse and it raises their MMR..
-
That’s one of many flaws about SBMM is because good killers will dodge what may “seem” like good survivors leaving a newer killer to queue up against that Swf you dodged, that Swf will 4 man escape that killer and that killer will hop on the forums and complain about everylittle thing that those survivors did to 4 man out against him/her..
-
I think forced penance is a very underrated perk on hag with agitation, mad grit and corrupt intervention with either rusty shackles and tp range or tp range and setting speed for add ons you should have no problems 2king+.
At the end of the day hag honestly is one of the few if not the only killer in the entire game that doesn’t need perks to 4k easily..
-
One of the biggest problems with NOED is that perk alone is raising killers skill based match making because from what I’ve heard kills is what raises your MMR not hooks.. So if I’m a wraith and all 5 gens get done with only 3hooks and no kills but I manage to kill all the survivors during EGC or prior because of noed then my SBMM goes up even though I couldn’t kill anyone prior to noed activating because I’m inexperienced against good survivors…
-
I feel like the maps in this game are what needs to be balanced. I don’t mind going against 4 good survivors..just not on maps like haddonfield, mothers dwelling, ormond, fractured cowshed, rotten fields etc. Going against good swfs on coal tower for eg with manageable rng is fun..

Using and auto-dead hard script and preventing the ability to hook any survivors when the hook was free and unblocked.
This is getting out of hand and at this point it's really starting to feel like BHVR is being negligent and scamming us out of money. They're promising a certain gaming experience but aren't taking the necessary actions to deliver it.
I’ve been going against a lot of hacking survivors lately (I forget the word) to where they’ll try and mask their movement speed and gen speed a bit. For eg: survivors base movement speed is 100 but the hacker will mod it to 120/130 movement speed. It’s hard to tell through the naked average eye but any killer who has a lot of experience can tell the difference and will catch on quickly..
Ive been running into this Trickster who I’ve reported awhile ago where they’ll make his movement speed 120-125 instead of the base 110.

I stared the day out with nurse and I got my arse kicked until I got back into the flow. Then blight, oh my god. I have never touched blight until yesterday and I was 4king within a couple games. I don’t think I will be touching any other killers until we get a more tolerable meta. To think I’ve been shafting myself playing non meta killers for the longest time.
This doesn’t mean anything, if you have never played blight your MMR will be low, until you’re going agaisnt optimal survivors you’ll see how frustrating any killer can be even blight. Blight against good survivors on indoor maps like lerrys for eg is boring and unfun, I feel like blight needs to have either crow or rat rush add ons to be able to flick around tight loops a little bit more effectively, no different from oni needing akitos crutch to flick further due to better momentum. I find maps like ormond, swamp, mothers dwelling etc frustrating because there’s alot of spots where you just can’t slam off anything..

Survivor games are taking longer to find. They never do during the early afternoon. I am not surprised really, Killers keep getting ######### with each update: Dead Hard fixed, Hit Valitadion and Boons. All these just make Survivors even stronger than before. Camping is also getting a change in the future, the only thing killers can do to increase their chances to get a kill.
Playing killer isn’t enjoyable as it used to be because I keep getting survivors with the same builds or I get the same ######### maps back to back.
The same can be said about playing survivor. I don’t see variety anymore, I don’t see my favorite killers anymore, it’s just the same ones. I probably won’t see Deathslinger anytime soon, Demogorgon will be rare due to the chapter departing, Michael is weak, nobody ever want to play Twins and I am not sure why I don’t see Oni anymore.
The game is getting pretty stale atm. Seems like variety isn’t a thing anymore.
Again. Survivor queue times are faster during the morning and killer queue times are faster during the night, it’s always been like this.
-
Survivor queues are faster in the morning and killer queues are faster at night and it’s always been like that.
I feel like playing killer in the morning is atrocious, every survivors brain is refreshed from a good nights sleep which leads to survivors playing smarter and making very little mistakes where has playing killer at night survivors are tired, maybe under the influence more and are prone to make far more mistakes which leads to easier and more enjoyable games playing as any killer.
-
I honestly don’t even think perks have a determination on how games play out. Holding W as a survivor seems to be the meta now regardless of the same perks survivors run. I could run no perks as an experienced survivor and hold W on 75% of these maps and the majority of killers won’t be able to do anything…
-
And solo queue survivor against a ruin undying tinkerer blight with alc ring crow is hell too. Omega blink nurse with ruin undying tinkerer on midwich..
Starstruck Agitation cracked nurse…
-
Hmmm depends on how much of a cracked survivor you are. Usually good survivors run resilience and spine chill for vaultspee with ironwill/BT, deadhard and hardly ever go down or get hooked especially if they are in a swf. I personally love staying injured and abusing resilience spinechill as much as possible.
If you’re a really really good survivor and know how to loop and time fast vaults properly with developed muscle memory you will benefit running resilience over DS 100%.

I am so sick of defending survivors when killers talk about camping and tunnelling, then seeing why they do it when I play a game.
Most the time I play survivor, I see killers that don't face camp, they play hard but fair, you meet a few campers, more then ever lately, but not every game.
Also when I play killer, I find teams that play well, if the are PC then we have ggs. If I am on a challenge or for some reason I feel in a nice mood, the team was bad, I allow them to heal up, rescue and win. When they leave they are nice at the game and then just leave.
Then I meet a team like the one I just played against, who I only needed to do a challenge, and let them just get on and leave, only to find them trying to flashlight blind me at the gate, running around me and trying to taunt me, like they had escaped on merit. I did not hook when I got them down, I even carried one to the gate, stood there while he struggled and let him open the gate, with the others stood there.
Why are there so many idiots in this game that think they are so amazing. If a killer is stood there helping you out the gate, take it and just go, don't try and act like you are big people.
People ask why camping and tunnelling is a big thing in this game, well just as survivors say they are fed up of killers camping, killers are getting fed up with survivors who feel the need to act better then they actually are.
If you want to teabag and flashlight that is down to you, it does not bother me, but don't moan if the next killer you meet hangs you on a hook and stands there.
There are plenty of good console swfs it’s not just PC…
The majority of survivors that t bag, macro spam/click their flashlight/taunt etc during the match or out the gate says a lot about how much they play killer at high MMR which is never.. A very small group of survivors that are very skilled at playing both roles will leave and loop gracefully.
-
Orrr you know it could be survivors on vpns due to the amount of ddos..
-
Leaderface, SurvivorFace, AthleteFace and SmartFace are still all obtainable currently. Sacrificing Dwight,Jake,Meg and Claudette 25times each will unlock all his masks..
-
By a literal landslide and it’s not even debatable: The Trickster. Trickster is the most unhealthy killer in the game currently. Whether you’re getting looped for 5 gens playing him or getting lazerd down for 2 health states by knives in a 10sec window no matter how good of a survivor you are because you just can’t leave los fast enough against him is truly truly miserable….
-
Good, trapper is boring to go against anyways. I guess I should’ve guessed there was a random trap in the grass or in front of the window while Im looping now I’m insta downed… ZzzZzZzZzz…fun

A good killer since blight chapter are we crazy Behaviour Nerf hammer is pending from a string on new PTB killer head.
A pity cuz this game need good killers characters.
Oh no, nerfing a killer that has wall hacks, can hit 3 survivors simultaneously without moving and can place crows infront of windows and pallets to deny/get free hits on survivors and shut down gyms ridiculously fast… Sounds fair…
-
I think bubba at the highest SBMM is quite strong compared to 85% of the other killers especially Award winning chili pared with blighted serum for add ons to get that first down quickly! His ability to down a survivor, hook them and just literally proxy camp hooks without chasing a single survivor and still hit through borrowed time against really good teams is nuts. You could slap on perks like corrupt, deadlock, no way out and maybe noed, down your first survivor and just camp the hook untill someone either goes for the save or the survivor just goes into second stage and is sacrificed. You can literally get away with playing like this with this build against very very strong teams..
Running a regular build like, pop, bbq, corrupt, bamboozle etc against very very good teams however you will struggle as those survivors will just tight loop pallets/pre throw, abuse and combo windows together and before you know it all the gens are done and your left with no kills..
You could sweat your nuts off against good teams as blight or nurse and 1k chasing survivors all around the entire map just as equally as downing your first survivor and just proxy camping hooks to get pretty much the same outcome as leatherface without sweating.
-
I have been wanting a trickster rework for a awhile now. I personally think he’s very very unhealthy for the game. His power seems underwhelming at most times especially on console at 30FPS.. When going against a good trickster I feel like no matter how good of a survivor you really are you just simply go down at any even nook or cranny and angle on the map.. There are also plenty of situations where you just get absolutely beamed for 2 health states in a 10sec window because it’s just trickster.
Did I also mention he’s better at proxy camping hooked survivors then leatherface…?

@EntitySpawn said:
Seriously if I could just delete this chapter from my game I would.
He isnt console friendly at all, even more so if you dont run at max sensitivity. I shouldn't throw a blade and bounce between the top left and right corners unable to pull down.
I seriously will never play him, stop hyping up the chapter till you fix it. I shouldn't be struggling to get 1 down, admittedly the shared mmr is hurting me and I need to lose 30+games but I am not gonna lose 30+ games for a weak killer especially one the aiming is god awful no matter what.
I'll stick to huntress and nerfed slinger thanks.
You never ever play a ranger killer on console at max sens. When I play a killer like billy or blight, wraith etc I’ll be at 100sens but huntress and slinger I’ll drop the sens to 60-65 just to have more of a controlled freeaim because I’m on analog.. 30-60FPS doesn’t help with shots either
-
Why do people still care about ranks? It’s almost 2022…
-
I wish people would post their playtime and kills before they post about this killer being garbage and that killer being underwhelming etc… i personally don’t have a lot of issues 3-4king against good teams as legion at Rank 1 killer. I run Discodance, Blood echo, mindbreaker and thana with sketch book and smiley pin.
Legion requires ALOT of basic/advanced mind games after frenzy as all he can do is injure survivors quickly and that’s it. Good survivors will wait at certain points at jungle gyms and if you keep following that survivor over and over and around and around and around and vault over and over and over with out moonwalking, hiding your red stain or simply continue without dropping chase, you will loose a lot of games.
He’s not like nemesis or p head where they can just shoot you over windows and pallets etc…
That’s the problem with a lot of these bottom 15-20 killers in this game is after you get the first hit you have nothing else to help you in chase but good map knowledge and mind games/predictions on what really good survivors will do next..
