-No longer counts down when in chase
-Don't need self care or a med kit to heal out of deep wound statusEnd game BT saves got even stronger
wait ok explain. so the timer when hit and going into borrowed time no longer counts down or when you get saved if your being chased the time for borrowed time to activate no longer counts down. also is it not considered giving you the deep wound status effects. and when you can heal out of it does that work like the new killer thing.
The timer won't count down if the killer chases you instead of the unhooker. If you break chase it will start counting down, but if you're out of chase than you can just instantly start mending even without a medkit/self care. It's also a shorter interaction that selfcare and no skill checks.
It's the same state that the new killer puts you in with their power.I've run BT in my builds since it was changed to unlim use, but this change makes it feel just cheesy and like I'll end up getting hatemail about crutch perks for using it.

i use BT all the time even when solo just because and this seems like its going to cause alot of hate. it doesnt seem like a OP change but i guess it encourages to not tunnel.
After the change, BT users will get camped for the crime of taking such a broken perk and yes, its an OP change since it lifts up BT to DS level basically.

I would really like them to get rid of 4 o'clock skill checks. I have over 600 hours and never hit one 4 o'clock skill check. I rarely hit 5 o'clocks. It doesn't matter how much I focus. I understand some people can focus on these, but I just feel they should be removed does anyone else feel the same way?I feel like skillchecks are way too easy. When doing a gen I take my mouse, stand up to stretch while holding my mouse in one hand. I still manage to hti the skillchecks, thats how difficult they are

No thanks, that will cause even more loading screen DCs

Im still waiting for secondary objectives.
Everybody knows that gen time is laughable and the changed healing times dont affect that at all
-
I think it will increase the Dc rates of killers, but we will see.
Personally I will always have to assume a SWF and play accordingly which will be quite annoying for the poor solo players getting into those games. So far I have only been a sweaty killer against SWF, using all my tools and all strategies available to me, not caring about the survivors fun.
Against solo players I have been a bit more chilled, not using addons or only grey ones etc.Now that I cant distinguish between SWF and solo..... well not my fault

Because killers dont do that?
You looped me/tbagged me/sabotaged a hook....get blocked in the basement lolz
In 2 years, I have encountered a single killer that bodyblocked me in the basement.
But sure, if a killer does that then he will get banned too

The grind to get the self care teachable so you can unlock it on another survivor you want to play is far too long to do.A lot of new players are like huh what how do I heal.
95% of people run self care. New players who don't have self care and are at low ranks (16-20) must skew the data devs collect for going into matches less equipped than those at high ranks.
I've had friends put this game down because of having to do so much to unlock healing.
This game should do what it can to attract new players and be loyal to it's veteran players.
The only issue people will have is that they won't allow new players to get self care for free when they play any survivor for the first time. Because they had to unlock it when they first played.
Rework the self care perk to do something different than being able to heal.
Give new players a level playing field.DBD would be a better game without SC.
Thats my opinion about this. -

i'm so tired of hex ruin! it ruins the whole game when the whole team is running around and looking for the totem and no one can find it. It almost always ends with everyone dying and no engine has started. really hope this is fixed in future update!!! Otherwise i think i will stop playing this game -_- What are your thaughts about hex ruin? You can power through ruin, just fyi,
If you dont like playing vs ruin, then maybe switch to killer but i can warn you since its a lot more frustrating than playing vs ruin
-

Would be a shame if DS would get nerfed and all those survivors couldnt run at rank 1 anymore without their crutch

-
Honest answer?
BHVR didnt really think about the implications of the hatch mechanic when they created it. And back in the days I cant remember that I ever was in such a situation.
It simply is a flawed mechanic and even those entitlted survivors know this (even if they wont say so in public). BHVR already suggested a hatch closing mechanic, but then withdrew it last second. That was half a year ago and im still waiting, but on the other hand thy also scrapped the DS and SC rework..... I see a pattern here

The only thing you can do as killer is slugging the last 2 survivors and hope that they dont DC for each other

1. 5 less pallets on the map and 2 closed vault locations.
2. Noed/Bloodwarden baseline.
3. Ruin/Dying Light baseline.
4. Obsession starts the match with the broken status.
5. 10% longer gen time.
6. 1% increased movement speed on all killers/bl activation time cut in half
7. 1 free mori
8. 50%-100 bonus bp per swf
9. No terror radius until first hook
10. 15% increased dying and hooking progressI would prefer 3 (maybe 5)
Also note that 8 has nothing to do with balancing

I've gone afk a few times as killer, not many times at all, to try to drop my rank because I am new to the game and was facing very difficult players and it was not fun. Is this okay to do..? I asked someone who has thousands of hours in the game and they told me it is fine to do. I have not purposely went afk again because I want to make sure it is okay to do.Yes its ok. There is one exception though, if you bodyblock a survivor in a corner or in the basement and hold them hostage this way, then this is a bannable offense.
One advice, usually survivors will troll you and refuse to leave, start tbagging in front of you and farm points this way. The killer freddy is immune to this because survivors cant interact with him in the dreamworld

Thank you for your question.
Easy Anti-Cheat flags accounts for use of third-party tools designed to grant unfair in-game advantages over other players. If the program you are using does not grant you any such advantages then your account will not be flagged by Easy Anti-Cheat.It is always best however, to contact the game developer first if you are unsure whether a certain program or tool is allowed or not.
If you have other questions, let us know.
In the meantime have a fantastic day!"My quest:
"Hi Sometimes i play against laggy killers so I have searched on Google and i have found the program "MLGA" (Make lobbys great again) to show the ingame ping. Can i get banned for download it and use it? I think i cant get banned but i want to be sure
-Andreas"So basically they are saying we can't get banned for using the ping function? xD
(btw the devs said i should contact EAC about it and EAC says i should contact DBD devs? xD)Lets be real here, EAC has no tools at all to detect MLGA since it doesnt interfere with the game. If however at some point there will be the possbility to detect it, then you will lose your account instantly and there will be no way getting it back.
BHVR has confirmed that MLGA is not on the whitelist of accepted third party programms anymore, so by theory its usage is bannableAlso, I would like to point out that the fogstreamer jendenise freely admits on using MLGA on stream and even promotes it. So far, she hasnt been banned.

On PC there is no cap on the sensitivity, so it cant be sth that breaks stuff ingame. But maybe it breaks sth on console, I dont know^^

It's still not that great at all. I have a gtx 960 and a 6600k and I'll have to use medium settings to hold a solid 60. Anything above that and it'll drop to 30-50. Low settings drastically improves performance though.Next patch is gonna run on a newer engine that has improved graphics and should improve performance as well I believe.
You think THAT is bad frame rate? Try playing against the Doctor on PS4 at Lery's. It's virtually a slideshow.
Yes thats a bad framerate.
Console is a different story since you are limiting yourself by playing on console, but thats sth everyone can decide for themselves^^Yeah, I'm saving up to build my own gaming PC. Only problem is that I don't have the slightest clue where to start.
There are lots of guides how to build a PC

I mean how am I supposed to feel after sth like this?
The depip squad did somethign similar already and the devs reacted and just said "they are aware of the balance issues". I just look at what has happened so far and I understand what the devs plan for the game.
DBD will never be balanced around high lvl, they cater towards beginners and casuals. DBD simply hasnt been designed for those tryhard SWF and will never be. Once you accept that, you either deal with it or leave the game
-
Depends on how this was achieved
-
The official tournament that happened earlier this year was a pretty good proof of the real balance of the game

-
No but since he is not outright insulting, I try at least

-
I am sorry to throw in this quote from the devs, but not every killer is meant to be viable at higher ranks. (sth I dont agree with at all btw)
-
No, its not a solution to release a killer under or overpowered.
I really hate the up and downs and how companies abuse this strategy to sell skins of the "recent op killer".The legion is in a difficult situation because his design is flawed if you ask me. He basically has no real counterplay at all besides genrush.

Why do you salty killer mains always rush to try and call people #########?
If the random people I get put with unhook anyway for the points cus of the stupid benevolence system and let each other get tunneled faster then what does that have to do with me? I can't stop that. I manage to get the hatch many times against the spirit. But sat holding M1 while they circle the hook and then having them force a 10 minute hatch stand off isn't fun at all.
It has nothing to do with not being able to beat them you toxic person, its the fact that its as dull as watching paint dry. Why dont they try getting good? Spirit can be hard to use fsir enough, so a lot just dont use her power to chase they simply use it to camp the hook instead. Its sad.
I didn't call you anything and I'm not a Killer main, so clearly you're thinking of someone else.
So a Survivor decides to farm you for points, but the Killer is the one at fault? Walk me through your thought process.
If you're not having fun with this game, you should switch to something else. I hear Civilization is good.
Because the killer wont leave. So the survivors wait until the first stage is almost up then think "ah screw it" and run in anyway.
Yeah the survivors would be better off gen rushing but the killers are starting the problems by refusing to leave the hook.
Besides its pretty crappy to ask survivors to just let that person die and not trg to help them. Plus some get fed up and suicide on hook or D/C which leaves the killer free to camp the next guy.
Why do people always try to push this on survivors? Some rush hooks and yes thats their fault but sometimes they wait and wait and the killer never leaves.
Because its the survivors fault for making camping a solid strategy and you just explained why.

The more I play against swf the more I think that only 10% of them are good at doing anything. Usually they just screw around trying to be altruistic (unhooking in front of my face) or just saboing every hook they find but forgetting to do gens.Yes most of SWF are simply trash because they have a weird feeling of safety and blame the killer for "noob plays" instead of reacting to those strategies accordingly.
That doesnt change the fact that its not fun to play against a lot of SWF, even if you can 4k them

Especially SWF will always try to safe each other and if they dont, you lost anyway because they are interested in genrush only^^

Its silly how with every killer released or every new set of killer/survivor perks the first thing the masses do is complain about how they aren’t up to par with whatever the meta of the game is and how they pale in comparison to other content in the game. Not everything needs to be super powerful. In shooters not every weapon has the same effectiveness. In a racing game, all cars aren’t the same in terms of power, handling, drivetrain, etc. Street Fighter releases DLC with characters that are more niche, technical, or more just for fun. If you play Madden online you’ll find people using Arizona or Oakland or the Bills instead of everyone using Kansas City or the Rams.
If youre playing in a tournament then fine, run Billy or Nurse and destroy the survivors. For every day play though, what’s wrong with a unique killer with a fun power? I’m a killer main and my favorite killers are Leatherface, Trapper, and Clown. Three killers that have flaws and aren’t the best in the game. But they’re fun to use. I could main Billy or Nurse on Xbox and destroy, but I find them boring.
Youre going to be very disappointed if you’re going in to all of the new DLCs expecting killers that will shake up the meta. Just buy it if it looks interesting, or don’t, and don’t worry about whether or not you’ll be able to 4k every match.
Things that change the meta make the game exciting. At the moment its pretty stagnant if we talk about competitive killers. Its been nurse forever and im really tired of that tbh.
And sure, not all killers have to be directly on the same powerlvl, but in DBD the difference of the killers powers is ridiculous

I've played so many matches and sent the killer a GG afterwards only to not receive it back. I don't care if I was sacrificed or I escaped. If it was fair and a challenge I try to be nice. Why can't some people just send it back? If I play killer I always respond with the same. Just confused as to when this game stopped being fun and cordial. 🤔There are a lot of killers that dont evne look at chat anymore since usually its just full with camper insults and that kind of stuff.

Spawn more chests for survivors by default. Opening chests is fun. Currently there aren't even enough chests so that every player could open 1.Spawn 8 chests on the map by default. Make the basement chest always contain a chest of a higher rarity.
Make all rarities gather-able from chests.
Let the fun begin.

You can already add 8 additional chests to the game by offerings.
I think 11 chests are enough already -

Well if you manage to win in a 3v1 (with 5 gen) matchup than yes it should be AT LEAST a dubble pip but i'd say a leaver should grant a free pip to the survivors since 85% of the time everyone dies even againts a noob killer that gives them an easy dubble pip.If the killer 4ks a SWF, it can happen that he still doesnt pip. How is that fair?
Yes the emblem system is quite weird, but in a 3vs1 you will have piped by sure if you didnt get hooked. (Unless you were afk and it was a 2vs1 actually)

Not completely, the problem became better, but it has not became like before.
SO my guess of a bugged MM still stands.
And the Devs are already working on a new MM system (that includes hiding SWF better from the killer).
Oh yeah, THAT won't backfire at all!
I predict more MM issues for survivors, more lobby dodges, and way more killers quitting mid game.
I see no problem. The devs punish DCing ( :sarcastic: ) and you cant determine SWF easily anymore in lobby. What could possibly go wrong :chuffed:

Seriously. If the game isn't lagging unbearably then it's just a tunnel fest.
Before you cry "w3lL dun get c@Ught lol" they stil tunnel other survivors to death.
You get penalized if you don't unhook. Plus its not nice to leave someone on the hook. But you have to. Because every killer walks a little bit away from the hook then quickly runs back to tunnel the unhooked guy before he can get away. Game after game after game this is the strategy of every 9 out of 10 killers.
Its absolutely awful for the person being tunneled and its boring as hell for the remaining survivors.
Dont give me "its a legit strategy" approach. Its garbage and has completely ruined one side kf the game.
They need to make some extreme changes to make this playable again. Its only worth it in SWF or playing killer now.
The more pressure you put upon the killer, the more likely he will camp.
I am really curious whats going to happen next patch with aura removal and BT lifted to DS lvl
-
I like that the emblem system takes more into account than just escaping and killing.
BUT it needs to be a lot harder to pip for both sides AND escaping and killing should have more impact on the scoreIn my eyes its absolutely ridiculous that a 4k can result in a blackpip, but you can pip with zero kills
-

Sounds logical -
A camping killer already is punished heavily if he camps. He literally gains zero points while standing afk in fron of the hook and he even loses emblem points
Tunneling is just playing optimally, get over it. As survivor you dont switch the gen once you repaired to 66%, do you?
-
I think its pretty good already, no need to buff it further.
At the moment I prefer it over any other exhaustion perk -

My ideas for his abilities.. just brainstorming• "Death fog" - Creates a fog in a 30m(?) radius. Survivors caught in the fog are put into a first person point of view with their view significantly reduced.
Perks
• Death incarnate - After hooking a survivor other survivors are exposed for 8/9/10 seconds.
• For Mother - For 3/4/5 seconds after a survivor has done or attempted an altruistic action, will slow their movement speed by 25% for 3 seconds.
• Lambs to the slaughter - Once an exit gate is powered the other gate will be permanently shut down. The powered gate closes each time a survivor exits for 5/10/15 seconds.
I always wanted first person for survivors, but it will never happen because the needed animations would be a big effort. They didnt even want to make new animations for the DS rework, so....
