As a killer main, somehow I don't dislike ormond at all. I actually enjoy my games there consistently.
I'm curious as to why people seem to hate it
bigger map / main building has 3 god pallets (counting the one closer when going outside) + 2 god windows that force you to break 2 walls each time + gens are really good spread out / early game preassure its impossible without a high mobility killer or corrupt / easy to chain loops like really easy + most of the loops are pretty solid....and thats not even taking perks like boil over + breakdown in mind...

So many voted for Garden of Joy and The Game... god please have mercy
loving when BHVR already knows that most of the playerbase are survivors and as survivor why not choosing the maps that they feel confortable to play the most? we should care about the killer having "fun" guess NO because once again Ormond is gonna be frecuent and dear lord that map is awful.
now Dead dawg is just breaking walls simulator as killer...idk how do people enjoy this map like at all...if the killer wants to play scummy they can also set a 3 gen on the big open deadzone field that has 3 gens all the time within 20 meters.

I just voted and these were the top 3:
Vote 1: Coal Tower - 13%
Vote 2: Dead Dawg - 28%
Vote 3: Ormond - 27%
Arguably the best Killer map in the game is #1. So ya'll Killer mains need to relax lol
"Arguably the best Killer map in the game is #1" coal tower has RNG sindrome , where most of the times is insanely survivors sided because of the connected tiles and the smaller map size but in the other hand... pretty rare but can happen ... killer sided because RNG wanted to spawn double windows and 4 lines loops over and over....
but honestly if we are talking about average...the map is survivor sided...(only way to win on Coal tower is a 3 gen against decent people otherwise you are gonna be breaking pallet after pallet untill all the gens are done)
*BHVR: talks about a way for preventing people to going to the same realms over and over again..*
also BHVR: *makes a event based on making people getting the same realms that they voted over and over again*
thank god i have a lot of map offerings...thanks BHVR...am gonna be soo happy to burn other realms non-stop instead of BP offerings..🤤

What killer makes you want to face literally any other killer then face them for me simply Wraith.
I would rather face a P100 Twitch Nurse then face Wraith for one reason. There no counters pallets can't counter him because surprise he can slowly uncloak but since he let go at 99.9% nope he doesn't and destroys the pallet in a second. Seriously I would love face any other killer then face a single Wraith because I can no find a single counter to him and no windows do not counter him because for some reason I still get hit over them.

I think they went with the current form of Corrupt Intervention over any basekit option to discourage the killer from spawning in, spinning about, and immediately picking their 3-gen to defend only. With the rise of that strat since the CI perk change, I can see what might have influenced them.
Then there's a certain map or two that if you don't set up that 3-gen immediately against 4 good survs you'll need Nurse or Blight or Spirit to have a fighting chance. This should never be the case in any map, and I hope that gets looked into soon.
but either way they can just hide the auras of the blocked generators if the killer isnt running corrupt...

After this new survivor HUD update, survivor productivity has went through the roof, now survivors know exactly when to be working on a gen, as in, when it's safe to just plow through going from gen to gen without a worry.
This isn't really a bad thing, in fact, i think the survivor HUD was a much needed boost solo players desperately needed, however, now survivor hesitation has been almost completely lifted, gens have seemed to be going by noticeably quicker, which is a logical consequence of the update.
I wonder if it's time for a perm second object of some form, which is what i'd prefer as gens are boring as it is at times, or is it time to look at gen speeds, please, your thoughts about this.
I still think maps are the problem , not survivors , not gen speeds , like doesnt matter how much you nerf or buff the gens speed that doesnt change the fact that depending which RNG you get on some maps you can easily stomp the survivor or VICEVERSA
but if we are honest most of the maps had a higher change to spawn god setups connected into each others + there is some maps insanely bigger like Red forest were by default without corrup intervention or a killer with high mobility you are forced to let go 1 gen every single time...
as survivor i think nobody likes the weaker tiles that they added to autohaven , it literally makes the map RNG depending which is bad because on those tiles there is no mindgame on them you just wait until they drop the pallet and you secure a free hit...
Problems with DBD IMO:
-Nurse making impossible to balance maps perfectly since she can noclip into stuff and make smaller maps miserable to go against.
-the overall map design: like garden of pain
-RNG can either favor the killer or survivor pretty hardly on some maps.
-still not having an early game mechanic (for the love of god BHVR just make corrup basekit for 16 seconds)
that would help a lot for many maps in this game..walking 1 minute on red forest to just reach to a gen is stupid for m1 killers.

Which survivors always seem to be bad at looping or are generally clueless no matter how many times you face them? I can easily think of 5 off the top of my head:
William “Bill” Overbeck
Leon S. Kennedy
Ada Wong
Yoichi Asakawa
Jame Romero
This thread is for fun and not everyone who plays these characters is bad or clueless, so try not to be too salty if you see your character mentioned :P
Leons and Adas IMO
like everytime i play survivor i jut see leons and adas dying within 10 seconds on 70% of their chases.
Leons are pretty cute , they seem pretty lost most of the times XD

thats the thing i always hated since realm beyond came out...they added a lot of junks into the maps for visual purposes and for the most part they look good BUT they forgot that some killers rely on having clean LOS for their power to work good....basically Billy / blight/ huntress / oni / bubba / demo ...gets sh*t on because of the weird collision that many bushes and junk on the ground have...
and you know whats the funny part? , yes those object also makes the overall perfomance of the maps a bit stuttery because the game now also have to render those things ... making Fps drops pretty common on maps with higher usage of those , an issue that has been a thing on console for years.

Then do not click "play" on the survivor lobby. The amount of survivors that either suicide at the start of the match or outright dc on first down is one of the only things that still get to me in this game. What is the point of queing for a match if you're going to leave the millisecond something doesn't go to plan. It doesn't matter if its a killer you don't like, a perk you despise, if teammates don't drop their injured family members to immediately save, or if the killer camps. Play the game or not at all.
if my teammates are just crouching in corners doing nothing or doing hook trades non-stop while there is not a single gen done or working on and the killer is playing full sweaty , them let me goo.. i know for sure that match is gonna be terrible anyway..
(thats on my case idk about the rest)

I like the map change. I don't know what the hell people were expecting. Were they expecting the devs to remove half the pallets?? The map is smaller now which makes it easier to pressure as killer.
if they reduce the pallets by half... the map is gonna become shelter woods 2.0 thats for sure.

Still a crap ton of pallets everywhere you go, and despite the fact that you mentioned new types of tiles would be added, I’ve yet to see any new ones. Just the same braindead, safety pallets everywhere you go, and like I said before, they’re everywhere. I appreciate the attempt, but the changes you gave us are not enough. Reduce the amount of pallets and maybe we’ll be somewhere.
i think is okay , however RNG is still a thing and thats something that affects all the realms.
sometimes can be survivor sided RNG
other times can be killer sided RNG
but overall if we are talking about a fair map (the map has decent pallets / decent size now / more areas to hide thanks to the grass)
IMO the map change was a solid 8/10 so far for me. (feels better to patrol / and feels fair to play compared than before)
(Good job BHVR..no joke.. for once ... now can we get more of this for Red forest and shelter woods?)

the game already runs pretty poorly for modern hardware devices , DBD optimization was never good , I can just imagine the frame-drops of a sandstorm or tornado effects kicking ...uhh god , pls no ..... Realm Beyond was an entire mess in terms of optimzations + new content being added just makes the problem even worse , remenber when nemesis first came out? yeah that was a frame-drop mess + some assets are poorly optimized causing consoles to stutter more often compared to PC but even on pc the game still runs bad on low settings.
fun fact: its been 3 years already since they promise to add a in-game option to disable antialising (and no news on that YET)
well we are still stuck with the ULTRA - MEDIUM - LOW settings....BHVR pls give us more video options jeeeeez..

Nurse no doubt (average solo Q players VS a decent Nurse is just miserable to go against)
Honorable mentions:
-Knight idk why ? but everytime i face a knight they just hard tunnel or they camp a hooked survivor the whole game with the guards + eruption on top.
-Plague: if there is 1 person cleasing non-stop them the entire teams gets punished ...which feels awful when you know for a fact you got a decent tile that you know how to loop but because of corrupt purge you just have to die because someone cleansed

Nurse is one of my favorite killers to verse. She has a surprising amount of counterplay and lots of mindgames possible, imo it's one of the best designed killers, because while they completely discarded the M1 loop mechanics, they introduced other skilled mechanics to compensate. Comparatively, "Hold W" killers like Artist or PH are much more boring to face, despite being weaker.
I think it's good that they try to nerf add-ons and combinations with Starstruck. Once high MMR stop complaining about her, lower MMRs will realize that the Nurses they faced were actually never OP.
"t's one of the best designed killers"

welcome to DBD forums where people overreact non-stop even when the change is a step in the good direction.
+ bringing solo Q at the same level of a SWF can result in killers loosing more which means = KILLER BUFFs or MAP BALANCE CHANGES for a future...
is so stupid how COWSHED is still a nightmare for killer while SHELTER WOODS is just easy mode especially with the new useless tiles that they added to the realm.

weird , either probably you are one of those guys that do not touch any gen during the entire game or u are getting lucky that the killer isnt kicking the gen you are working on...idk ... but at the moment eruption is busted as hell on some killers with high mobility and good 1 vs 1 powers + on solo Q as survivor you will always get affected by it since people cant really know when someone is going down at that moment unlike a SWF that is playing on discord.
final thought--- Eruption by itself destroys any solo Q team and its a mediocre perk against SWF.

agreed the NERF only affects people that likes to run disgusting combos (mostly toxic nurses) , while not the ones that play smarter and bring full slowdown all the time and go for a 4k (the sweaty ones) , matches are gonna feel the same against average sweaty nurses... am telling you.. PAIN
on the bright side solo Q is gonna finally be more bareable to play....

it feels like every time I face the knight I lose because his pawns down me and it takes no skill as a killer to do anything except to hook survivors. This game has gone so downhill for survivors its not even fun anymore. Why would they make a killer that allows a CPU controlled portion of his power to do everything.
i mean the killer promotes holding W , however you can still do chain loops , its fun? no it doesnt...is there other way to play against a knight? NO, his playstile is one of the most monotome of the entire game , takes skill?yes, otherwise people would be dying against him non-stop , the killer is fun? NO , i rather prefer looking a wall than just holding W and just pre-dropping stuff and connecting loops all the time to counter his 1v1 power..
but thats just BHVR pushing a bad design killer to live again , the game is still fun , (cough, when solo Q teammates arent useless)
basically if your team is good enough and the map got decent tiles you can pretty much beat any Knight with 3 survivors escaping

@Nicholas said:
The conversation is often about fairness, but the principal network philosophy is inherently unfair to Survivors. It is referred to as Favor The Killer. In other words, hits are handled on The Killer's end (even with Dedicated Servers). Hit Validation only kicks in at a very generous threshold - last I checked, it was 300 ms. Pallet and DH Validation are different, and those two checks are server-based.
This permanent and perpetual advantage granted to The Killer feels terrible. The devs have explained and sympathized with the idea of a killer striking a survivor and seeing that hit only for it to get rejected as being too frustrating. Yet they aren't concerned with a survivor getting attacked by a hit that was too far as being a worthy consideration. Every survivor can confirm that it's equally painful and frustrating when you're hit, especially at a vault where you cleared and triggered Lithe, for example, only for you to get hit at a distance and downed while Exhausted. Vault Validation would be nice but moving everything to server authority sounds fairer for all five players in a Trial.
Match after match of dealing with high latency killers, and they are rewarded with insane hits! The ping icon is nice to see, but what is done? I can see and feel the latency favoring The Killer; they have a tremendous advantage. The last few weeks have been terrible.
The devs like to say Favor the Shooter works in other games like FPS. Sure it works in those games because EVERYONE is the shooter. In DBD, only one is The Killer.
Favor The Killer is a one-sided advantage, at the expense of every Survivor. The game is designed around this; thus, it has never and will never truly be fair. So I can't help but laugh when players say the devs favor survivors.
I share the same opinion while not the one of the devs being killers sided , COWSHED exist .....about laggy hits like jeeez even sometimes when playing killer on HIGH PING u can also see those BS hits on your screen connect somehow and on the survivor screen looks even WORSE...thats why is soo dumb that this thing has been around since Dedicated Servers , if you look back to Peer to Peer server , vaults use to work consistenly but since Dedicated servers , you just have to pray that killer has good connection and if not them you just are forced to pre-vault stuff to counter the latency.
@SmolBlob said:
Vault validation doesn’t exist because vaults don’t make you protected from a hit like a pallet can.
Latency will always exist and the server will have to favor SOMEONE. Games always tend to "favor the shooter" (ie, the one doing the action to the other person). Why? Because "favoring the target" means the shooter has to literally predict and react to the future. And for something that happens almost instantaneously, even if it did favor the target, there is not much chance to react regardless.
A hit scan bullet isn’t reactably dodgable. A projectile bullet with high speed at close range isn’t reactably dodgable. Similarly, most things at that kind of point blank distance in DBD also are not reactable. A non-lunge range M1 is unreactable for the purpose of something like Dead Hard.
So there’s no point to "favoring the target" for things that they can’t reactively respond to in the first place. In comparison, "favoring the shooter" means they can do things like react to someone running to the left and lead their shot before they shoot. Similarly, in DBD, it means they can play in response to what the survivor did. Eg, if the survivor goes for a pallet or window, preparing for chucking a hatchet over it.
Also, it’s not like the target has no options. The target knows they’ll be fired on/etc. In the Huntress example, they already know she will be looking for hits at pallets and windows via hatchet. So they play differently to avoid that in the first place. At long distance, they could run in literally any direction and even dodge a hatchet thrown at them due to the travel time. There is a large amount of "variability" available to the target, because they have a lot of options for which way to go.
The shooter has to hit a target that could run in almost any direction in the future if the game favors the target. IE, it is genuinely impossible and unfair to expect that of them. But conversely, the survivor already knows the shooter is going to be trying to take shots at them in certain situations. So they can work to avoid or counteract those situations in the first place. Like not giving those clear lines of sight or taking advantage of aiming time or so on.
This way, both the target having options and the shooter not having to literally react and predict which future is correct out of the numerous options the target constantly has works out.
I understand all of that but why rewarding bad ping for killers ? even when validation is a thing i can confirm that if you play killer while VPNing to get 200+ ms , you basically gain Long Arms and you can even see such BS hits really often...how do you fix that? idk...why about just making that vaults counts as an interaction and upon certain distance (SERVER-SIDE) survivor can not get damaged by just m1 attacks...(special attacks are way more hard to fix IMO but what about just fixing the BS part of m1 killers atleast)
good connection killers basically gets punish while a laggy killer just get long arms for free...
(1) this killer's ping was over 9000... | Dead by Daylight - YouTube
am sorry but this kinda of HITs should never connect..and this type of games can happen pretty often since survivor can no longer see their own ping untill the match starts.

I think even old Ruin Undying was nowhere near as bad. Every past OP perk I can think of on either side had some form of counterplay. Original Ruin needed you to hit all skill checks. Old Ruin could be cleansed.
Eruption has no counterplay whatsoever. It triples as a slowdown, regression, and info perk. It's a stronger slowdown perk than dedicated slowdown perks. It's a stronger regression perk than dedicated regression perks. It's a very good info perk on the level of other meta info perks.
Survivors want to do gens. An efficient survivor will spend every second not in chase on a gen. Any gen kicked by Eruption becomes a trap for survivors. Any survivor working on it will reveal their exact location to a killer on a down (which is less predictable than a pick up, like Thrilling). They're also made useless for a whole 25 seconds (which is stronger than Deadlock, which only locks one gen for 30 seconds for 4 times in a match, allowing a survivor to heal, bless totems, or cleanse). On top of this, any generator kicked will lose 10% progress instantly (which is only 5% less than Pain Resonance, which requires finding one of 4 hooks on the map and only affects a single generator).
I think it's very telling that Nightlight had Pain Res as the top killer perk last week but currently has COB and Eruption sitting at the top and still climbing. It's also very telling that the top 5 most used killer builds include COB and Eruption. This perk is absurdly strong. I understand it was necessary to give it a small buff to give it some viability (I'd argue there are other perks more deserving, like Oppression), but Eruption needs to be nerfed into the ground. It is unacceptable for this perk to continue to exist in the game in its current form.
Eruption by itself is just destroying solo Q teams since they cant know when someone is gonna go down
easy way to change that perk while not making the perk useless , simple:
"when putting someone into the dying state , any gen affected by eruption will apply the next effects:
- 30% debuff to repair speed actions for 20 secs
-survivors will be affected by the hindered status effect during that time aswell
No more BS of being forced to do nothing during that time...and also a secondary effect for people that dont want to deal with the 30% debuff and instead prefers to leave the gen.

She's balanced. You just have to play differently against her than other killers. Try thinking outside of the box.
balanced ..uhh questionable ... she offers a new way to play the game ? YES , it is healthier for the game? NO....
Nurse if played correctly feels like either you need to abuse exhaustion perks and insane mindgames or you DIE when doing a bad guess against a decent nurse (Good nurses are misserable to go against when they bring massive slowdown builds) remenber why Spirit was nerfed? coin-flips are not interesting or skillful to go against IMO , I would take a blight with strong addons and massive slowdown any day compared to a Nurse with 4 slowdowns.
DBD got a lot of changes over the years and Nurse just feels outdated for modern DBD , since maps are no longer insanely bigger than before , many broken thing for survivors got tweaked and toned down (insta-heals - map layouts - perks) compared to billy , makes me sad that billy got a massive Nerf but Nurse aparently is more weaker than billy , and they gave her a 3 blink addon , that basically makes the killer even more problematic against average players and new players.
I think the purple addon that makes Nurse a 4.6 killer for a while after landing a hit if it was BASEKIT could be a fun way to CHANGE nurse without completly making the killer that weaker.

i mean the icons werent meant to make players who dont do anything the whole match do something so that has no relevance.
yeah, but thats better for information , especially because now you know who is going for saves , who is doing nothing , who is smashing gens , who is constanly placing boons instead of being useful , for me thats feel like a nice QoL for solo Q players.
feels better to win or lose when knowing if your teammates were playing good or bad instead of blindly blaming other people for their actions because now we can be 100% sure of what teammates are doing instead of blaming others or yourself.
if you think about it , this technically gives survivor a weaker version of kindred at all times and thats HUUUGEEE for me.

Every Killer is boring! Why do we even need killers? Why can’t we just do gens and have fashion shows with over priced cosmetics?
any veteran player knows why this type of killer can not get buffed..but if you dont know let me explain
Trickster: really good 1V1 power but his map preassure sucks
Chase someone, keep hit them with the knifes and they will eventually had to either leave the loop or die in it.
(basically a braindead version of huntress , i dont hate the killer but his power is sooo boring)
atleast you can try to dodge the knives and thats fun i guess , definetly better than artist in terms of fun....
Knight: Same thing really good 1VS1 power but his map preassure sucks too and also way less uninteractive.
UGHHH anyway put the sword on the ground , survivor leaves loop , repeat over and over again , and once the survivor no longer has any loop nearby .. they just die.
not only that survivors can easily use DH to tank a hit consistenly against the first guard.
as survivor you are forced to get hit by the guard or the knight on every tile if you want to loop , whats the only thing they can do?
thats right HOLD W TIME ....soooo fun + guards can go through walls meaning windows pallets do nothing and not only that as survivor you cant do nothing other than holding W against guards since they cant get stun unlike nemesis zombies.
anyway tell me how do you buff this killers without making them problematic and unfair to go against?
IMO billy is the killer that needs a buff ASAP not this ones..

For people who don't have a clue what I'm talking about here. After the last big Update the vaulting got changed for a few killers like wesker, legion and some others. Firstly on pallets it's just the window vault Animation and Sound which is really cheap but this is not my point.
My point is that multiple perks like fire up and bambozle are not working anymore together with killers and addons who can increase the vault speed.
That includes
Wraith
Myers tier 3
Wesker
Legion
Others reported it as a bug got told it's not a bug. So they just shadow banned a whole mechanic. Thanks bhvr again for ruining something no one had a problem with and people just had fun with.
while i agree that tier 3 + bambozle was overkill against new players , am really dissapointed that BHVR didnt even gave legion an addon to vault windows/pallets more faster since thats his main power , unlike wesker that has that already many stuff basekit and pretty much has less cooldown after vaulting compared to legion , but just killing the perk for legion..? , really BHVR ?

Wow. Just...wow. In the match I just played, the bots displayed just how useless Legion's power really is. The bots all separated so far from Legion that I could never get more than two hits in before the power ended. Now granted I was able to zone them out fairly well and get them down, but as far as getting five consecutive hits was concerned? Forget about it. Had I been facing a decent squad of real players, they would have walked all over me.
There are some killers that can be devastating all on their own, and then there are others that have to rely on strong perks, and unfortunately Legion really does fall into the latter. Personally I think his rework wasn't strong enough.
meanwhile all of my matches against bots while just running corrupt are always 4ks ... (playing legion BTW)
bots are better than Solo Q players for the most part and thats a Fact ...... BUT they are waaay more easy to beat since all of them are pretty much easy to mindgame on most tiles + they often get stuck crouching in a corner if the killer is really close to a hooked survivor.

It's pretty sad tbh seeing the Knight majorly ignored by the community. He has built-in problems and nobody really cares as it's evident in the front page and rarely anyone comments on the relevant topics. That sucks.
what do you expect from a killer that literally got released with pretty much most of the bugs from PTB and with all the problems that had back them:Hold W gameplay + broken AI + not fun to play because of the jankiness + the best way to play the knight is by camping at the moment...
everything bad about the killer was pretty much noticeable since the first day the knight came out from PTB to LIVE. ..
and even better BHVR instead of buffing the map control / preassure playstile , they just buffed the dull anti-loop part of the killer.
QUICK NOTE: Dead Hard basically makes the killer more weaker for free since survivors can just tank the hit from a guard pretty consistently.

For me it’s Ormond. For both killer and survivor I like the same thing, the open area, and large map. I think it’s a perfectly designed map.
for me Lerys if my teammates arent potatoes , i just love the windows playstile rather than depending on pallets that has 0 mindgame when being chase , however yeah RNG can sometimes be a thing but for me is a solid map , decent lightning / loops and more important not a single Breakable wall to be forced to kick unlike other maps + every gen is decently far away of each other , so survivors can have a chance against killer like blight or nurse without being spotted across the entire map.
Notes: the map sucks for billy more than any other killer really.

I know this isn’t discussed much but… aren’t killer lunges just a bit too much? Nearly every game I get on the far side of a pallet that I can’t throw because a killer 5 feet away from the OTHER side of the pallet makes some ridiculous lunge that bends him around the corner and through to my side for the hit. Seems like lunges should be 10-20% shorter and/or reduce the maneuverability during them. We can’t make fast vaults at an angle but they can do this garbage.
dedicated servers are the real issue NOT lunges.. (there is a lot of regions that CANT go below 80 ms + validation is just a band aid)
and also laggy KILLERS - not survivors- .... gets this BS advantage....unlike other multiplayer games:
https://youtu.be/TvHm96rR-jEsoo if the guy am playing against is from the Moon i have to adapt instead of playing normally?...
NOTE: BHVR still thinks that a ping of 80ms or more is "GOOD enought" soo am not sure about that...
I still think the server should always decide when a hit connects instead of taking priority on the killer end.

- Nurse: Most stressfull killer to play for me. I don't enjoy her power at all. Also I don't like that she is very popular and in my opinion overpowered in some ways.
- Shape: Too simple and boring. Nothing interesting about him. Ghostface is just more fun and overall better version of a stalker than he is. You just watch people, hold M2 and then you walk up to someone and one shot them.
- Hag: I don't enjoy her effective playstyle (area camping). She is not a chase Killer, you have to relly on your traps and just catch people falling for them. I don't enjoy how she is small and slow.
- Trickster: Very map (tile) dependant power. He is either bad or oppresive. I would say usualy it's more towards the bad. He would be more fun if he wouldn't suffer so much from holding W on good loops / buildings where his power takes forever to down someone.
- Huntress: I think the reason why I don't play her that much is because her power is not really interesting. Also I am not great with Huntress so she can be stressfull sometimes. Sometimes you are forced to be looped and drop the pallet, can't use the hatched or you are giving them distance, it's not fun when this happends a lot.
TWINS -->you just cant win with this killer without camping and slugging... boring to be forced to play like that
NURSE--->loving the 75% mindgame where i just blink to someone and they die..nothing interesting i want to play DBD not the nurse game.
KNIGHT-->he is just Artist 2.0 but weaker and less fun (i dislike artist but damm this killer is just worse in terms of gameplay in any way)
BILLY---->Many penalties for a power that literally has a lot of counterplays + overheat on top is not good , pretty little reward to play correctly.
HAG----> put trap on 1 side of the loop , survivors runs away....repeat over and over, not fun for me..... + once again the best way to play her is by hard camping and slugging..

Sure I ######### and moan about him and he got bugs here and there but out of all the killers that I played? The Knight is the most fun killer to play as or against.
most fun?....100% no.
if fun means to hold m2 to force survivors to hold W or pre-drop a pallet to avoid dying against the guards, repeat over and over...
+The AI for the guards sometimes can be good and the next time they can be as useless and buggy as the zombies AI.
and for survivor be forced to not do any mindgame and just hold forward everytime the knight put his sword down is soooo exhausting..and uninteresting to go against (same with the bait playstile that some people are using - Press m2 cancel them m1)
I rather prefer going against a BLIGHT running alch ring + 4 slowndowns than going against the knight.
as survivor
nottaking the visuals in mind, he feels like artist + old pyramid head but way more easy to counter because DH exist to use the guards as free Sprint Burst and more boring to face because you cant loop him and guards are just ghosts that basically do m1 attacks totally not even taking risk to use because zoning people for free its FUN RIGHT.JEEEZ maybe nerfing the killer is a bad idea , but dear lord allow survivor to atleast be able to stun guards with pallets so there is something we can do for gameplay instead of HOLDING W.. at the end he also shares the same problem with Trickster as well.
(HARD TO BE BALANCED WITHOUT THE KILLER BEING EITHER TOO OPRESSIVE OR TOO WEAKER)

Since Midwich
Then Racoon
Then Eyrie of Crows
Then Garden of Joy
Then Shattered square
NONE OF THEM HAVE GRASS FOR TRAPPER
This is an iconic title, those yellow space have grass in old realms, why does this one dont have any?
call me crazy but am almost 99% sure that they're gone because of perfomance issues more than "thematic reasons"
since Realm beyond, the new "IMPROVED" grass
that literally hides nothing if the suvivors are not blind, were heavily demanding for perfomance for whatever reason, and thats why BHVR is choosing not to fill up the new maps with a lot of those anymore.. for the sake of not making another map destroying the overall framerate on console and PC.thats are my thoughts.. take this as grain of salt , am not a expert developer but jeeez DBDs perfomance is just really bad...compared to other modern games at the moment.
on the bright side the map is running smoothly for me..
-
YES ,but working like killer DLCs, only available if you already own the skin (KILLER/SURVIVOR).
-
YES and for dear god finally allowing teammates to see what perks everyone is running for a couple of seconds atleast or something else.
-
nurse pretty much everyone knows why...

I just played this wonder of a tile. There was a third pallet easily reachable as well as shack and a completely busted house loop.
totally fair and balanced.

Title
both force survivors to hold w. or get hit.
but artist doesnt rely on AI being good or bad at certain loops , she just put a "bird" to 1 side and thats it , while knight needs to put the sword on the ground and place a guard on every loop witch gets countered way more effective by holding W compared to artist, and also she can do snipes across the entire map. (there is not other reason to play knight outside of wanting to play a better visual design version of artist)
+Guards can trigger DH also , soo free speed boost if the survivors wants a easy hold W gameplay against the knight.
