As is the only way to remove deep wounds faster is to have someone else remove it and I think we can all agree it's a bit dull. Would skill checks be a fair way to be able to remove Deep Wounds faster and make it more interesting?
agreed BUT if that happens they need to also add a penalty outside of making just sound notifications when missing skillchecks.
like 3 to 5 seconds of instant - deep wound regression when Failing skillchecks to compensate.
(also this technically makes deep wound more interesting , when the survivor decides to not mend untill the last 3 seconds).
like "OOH sh*t I need to have more careful with my skill checks now otherwise I'll go down"

I just want them to fix his reveal mechanic.

it feels awful playing as him and getting revealed on such weird angles , and as survivor not even be able to reveal him because of how janky and inconsistent his reveal detection is at certain ranges / objects ; is such a total mess of mechanic IMO.
I hate that a lot😂

Don't spread lies. Thana got nerfed because it was stupidly buffed in patch 6.1.0, when it had already recently received a buff, on top of the fact that it was already getting shadow buffed because gens times was getting increased too in that same patch.
4 stacks of thana during 6.1.0 would mean a single gen would take 115 seconds (that's way more than 8 seconds extra), and considering it could be easily stacked with other slowdown perks it would easily turn make games last forever, especially on Legion and Plague.
Was the rework effective? No of course not, because now thana is still only viable on legion and plague. But let's not pretend it would not have been a problem
that was without PERKS , perks exist mah guy , just resilience by itself reduces that number by a considerable amount , you are telling me that survivors do not run prove thyself + resilience pretty often this days?.....or even back them?....
also I literally mentioned those 2 gen repair speed perks for a reason when talking about the 8 seconds extra to a gen.
and the only reason why the game were lasting more and people were dying more often was because people were refusing to change loadouts and they were always giving up like they do this day still , thats just Solo Q right there.
I remenber playing a lot during that time i can assure the only reason why i was loosing against thana players was because teammates were terrible at knowing when to repair than messing around doing nothing and giving the killer free stacks of thana by taking hits ALSO broken medkits heals were a thing back them but nah lets ignore that right , survivors cant adapt 🤔
if you think the perk currently is viable on legion ...bruhh dude just 1 guy needs to always heal in the entire team to avoid the slowdown (6% on 3 people injured is just terrible) unlike plague which survivor are forced to stay injured or giving her range attack + the perks doesnt help you to track or anything is just lame slowdown which can be replaced by a chase / aura / another better slowdown perk.
Thanatophobia applies to all survivors at the same time, resilience only on the survivor that has it equipped. If all four survivors bring Resilience, they all get 9% (11% of slowdown at most for everyone) -totally thana was Uncounterable
-
survivors got thana nerfed just because "red bar = bad" even back when thana was 20% and 5% for each injure was still countered by toolboxes and resilience + prove thyself....but no one wanted to run other perks outside of the meta soo they did massive complains about it and there you go.
it was more of a problem with plague tho...(yeah 8 seconds extra to a gen was soo MUCH to some people)
funny enough dejavu is gonna get buffed which is 6% now...against the lame values of thana this is just sad on many levels...

I wouldnt say that... more like
Im sick of facing "vpn" /"laggy" weskers.
his dash literally becomes BS as f*** when they are playing at a higher ping , they can literally grab you from miles away specially after and while vaulting windows.

but when .....
-
I like how they removed the optimization reports section , but the game still freezes when some things happen overall in the game + the new building related to the SM on shelter woods still kills my perfomance when chasing there so Im forced to play on medium or low when i get that map to avoid fps drops.
totally we dont need a optimzation issues report section RIGHT? 🤔
-
because their power allows them soo why wouldnt you? BHVR thinks thats balanced , what do you need to understand really?
billy got nerfed "sorta" still with the last patch even when people want to say it was a 100% buff (is not) soo you can get the idea of how bad the balance of this game can be...

Today for whatever reason, there's been some minor changes to the menu UI, specifically the lobby/inventory.
First of all: your equipped perks are now shown next to your character in the menu and lobby.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/00SDPY34RIQW/image.png
Hovering over them shows the description like normal:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/LPGQF6C1KEWR/image.png
Unfortunately this popup only applies to your character, and not your teammates.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OG9PZHO5X0QE/image.png
Empty slots now have a plus icon in them:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/IOSE0N30RUHX/image.png
And finally, there's a line connecting the addon icons and your power/item:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/SHD77QHV81H4/image.png
Some very minor changes, and not mentioned in any kind of Patch Notes. Who knows, this could mean they're working on more features for the inventory screen or lobby. It could also mean a UI designer got bored and decided to touch up some icons, though, but only time will tell.
Perk icons for solo Q teammates are coming maybe? .. who knows ..is still weird that mobile has this already meanwhile.. PC

I saw a prestige 100 blight tunnel out/ camp a poor newbie survivor with 150 hours today. I have to say......
It doesn't get any more pitiful for a top Tier killer. The poor survivor may never play again.
Good job so far blight.
thats just the average blight main in a nutshell....god i remenber back when i used to play him a lot but them i realize how insanely BS their addons and how forgiving the power is in terms of counterplay after 4 months of playing only blight, i literally was capable to eat 4 old "DS" and them tunnel easily because speed goes brrrr while running atleast 1 speed addon pretty much against any team -MMR was not a thing back them , but still-
MMR to this day is a total joke , why?
-you were altruistic as f , u saved your teammates multiple times taking hits , you lasted 5 minutes or more on chase , but you end up dying at the end because the killer camped you , well too sad --MMR decrease (as result waaaay worst teammates for you)
-you were selfish as f , u runned a gate build to just hide the whole match , dont care about saving anyone , literally you took 0 chases , and you let everyone died , you open the gate , GOOD JOB - MMR increase (which is also bad because you will eventually be paired with blights , nurses , spirits non-stop)
final thoughts MMR should be deleted , it literally kills the game health.

Most video games don't show MMR. Most do show some sort of rank that is loosely tied to a player's MMR I guess, but I can't think of many that actually show you your MMR rating.
you did 4 gens all by yourself and looped the killer for 5 minutes or more but you got facecamped ---too bad ---- MMR decrease
your teammates were healing the whole game in corners , going down over and over , but they escaped -- good--- MMR increase
thats why ....MMR in this game is a joke for the most part.

I mean surely it would just be a matter of making the validation more lenient when it comes to red ping? They might finally get more accurate stats for Survivors escaping to balance better if the lag issue was addressed, and generally the game would feel a lot better.
agreed , the amount of times that a BS hit on a window / pallet can make a huge difference in the outcome of the match is more than people give credit for. + idk why validation doesnt apply at 180 ms "BASE" instead of "300" , that would help a lot when seeing the red ping killer icon , so you can play like usual instead of
"OOHH this is not good , well time to pre-drop / avoid vaults on windows / pallets"

So I just played a couple games of blight and I only played him one game prior to this. I do play a lot of killer but I managed to get the 4k pretty easily. I felt like I did well for basically never trying him but not well enough to warrant a 4k at 4 gens. Is he easy to pick up ?
currently 70% of his addons are soo powerful that are not even fair if you compare them with other killers + hug tech still exist which unlike some people said "is a bug , is not intended , it makes the killer more powerful when blight doesnt need that to be good"
BUT ....basekit blight takes a decent amount of skill in order to perform good flicks and also knowing the angles to start rushing on some tiles and getting downs with your power instead of playing full m1 or relying on strong addons.
( yeah ..most of his addons are totally broken IMO , and pretty much Nobody uses their low tier addons because WHY would you?)

Basically is there a certain map or maps you like and if so why? I think each map brings something different to the table whether it be it’s playability, aesthetic, lore, etc but would be interesting to know if there are maps that are universally liked or considered well designed by most.
Visually and gameplaywise....I would say "pre-realm beyond thompson house" was the best visual looking and most balanced map out of all . untill Realm Beyond just turned the map into "god ....my eyes , everything is brigther and yellow" + some of the loops were extended by a considerably amount of distance , harvester....is either more safer or unsafe against some killers.
well thats just my opinion idk about the rest..
-
as far as i know BHVR still thinks that 80ms to 150ms is still a good ping on some regions + validation only kicks in when the killer is over 300ms + it doesnt always actives , which is absurd when you know VPNs exist.
thats why hits on windows / pallets are still pretty generous when the killer is lagging , sometimes you can see your BS hit on your screen , meanwhile the survivor keeps seeing a total mess while still having 30 to 20 ms.
I love getting hit from miles away regarding still having 30 ms and doing a perfect vault for nothing against laggy players.

balanced around casual players , average survivors
weaker against decent players - good - gods - swf
only strong against new players and people that refuses to stay spread out or lean how to use tiles properly

I personally find it to be extremely unfun to play vs, especially in an uncoordinated team. And I've hated it even during the gen-kick meta. But I've seen several praises for it so I thought I'd have a directed conversation about it.
Before the dead-hard nerf, anti-healing builds centered around this playstyle were tolerable because if I had good timing I could force a 2-healthstate chase anyways. I know how to play injured and can usually hold my own even without DH.
After the nerf though, on certain maps, it feels so tiresome having a 0.1s window to react to a silent bell wraith 1-tapping you from around the corner. And its gotten to the point where I usually just go next after they hook me.
The only counter and probably the reason why the strat isn't viable in a competitive setting is just to have all 4 survivors spread out and communicate when they see the killer. This obviously rarely ever happens in solo-queue. And its super frustrating to just watch a team bleed-out from everyone being too scared to touch gens.
I do think the strategy should be nerfed, but only after killers are given an alternative meta. Which at present there isn't one, so I'm very understanding.
Thoughts?
I wonder why do
survivors mainspeople think killers do this?uhh wait yeah insane god setups and strong connected tiles are still a thing on some maps thanks to the awesome RNG and do you want people to commit chase on those cases?
if you get a jungle gym into shack into a long rock loop what are u suposse to do with a m1 killer like wraith.?.....brainlessly chasing the survivor untill they wasted your time on that disgusting setup and giving up 3 gens while doing it....?
what maps had mostly this problems : farm maps , borgo , autohaven , macmillan , the game , garden of pain...... 🙄 mmm
is not fun for killer either is like "I cant chase here otherwise i insta-loose , well time to switch target , bye"
as survivor the typical complain is "UHH... BoRiNg why the killer didnt want to chase me
on my god setup"+ some killers are designed to be played like that otherwise they suck against average survivor that can actually loop.

So, who is it? I’m running low on indoor map offerings and I’m tired of the game sending me to open field maps while playing a scratched mirror. The blood web isn’t helping since it keeps giving me Borgo and Garden of Garbage offerings (I wish we can trade them in for a small loss of blood points).
I don’t need to win matches. Heck, as long as they’re not toxic or super sweaty, I normally let everyone go after making them pee a little. I just want to consistently make as much blood points as I can.
so what’s the best killer and build to do it? I have plenty of shards to buy any non-licensed killer and I do have some auric cells though I’d like to save them for if we ever get Chucky, Xenomorph or Rita Repulsa.
legion and doctor 100%
but with doctor farming points is waay easier since you dont need people to be closer unlike legion to get the maximum bp gain

Survivors: What!? BT did not work; I'm still being tunneled! Give us more basekit perks!
Honestly; I'm so frustrated with being screamed 'TUNNELER!' at because the unhooked Survivor literally prevented me from switching targets, then thought they still deserve to run away.
Like, why would I hit Mr. Bodyblocker, then let them flee so I can 2-hit someone else...instead of just hitting them again so I can put them right back up on that hook. How does this logic work, Survivors?
*killers dealing with horrible map spawns / god setups / badly designed maps / gen efficiency swf/ not basekit early game mechanic after 6 years*

Man killer mains ######### up. Complaining so hard about DH. Now literally every surv is running lithe, SB or balanced landing and it is annoying af.
You know what I liked about DH? You could counter it, SO easily. You can't counter any of these other exhaustion perks and it is driving me up the wall.
Whereas with DH once I figured out who had it, it was the easiest perk in the world to counter. And now I've got uncounterable speed boosts in practically every chase. Love it.
run blood echo + mindbreaker problem solved , thats the point of shaking the meta , bring different perks not just the same 4 perks as survivor or killer. I wouldnt say DH was easier to counter but it was a bad perk for survivor that werent good at looping since they were really cocky about using pallets, meanwhile is still a really good second chase perk when a good survivor use it and need it + it doesnt get deactivated on endgame which is a plus.
the only perk i completly agree that needs a small nerf is adrenaline , with the UI changes and the fact that 99%ing gens is pretty easy this days and since DH is less popular and many people are playing safer......... adrenaline...mm... 5 seconds of sprint + instaheal when the last gen pops doesnt seem fair to me . (even more distance when paired with hope)
I think they should reduce the sprint to 3 seconds instead of 5 IMO

Figured I'd play hillbilly as it's been a few months, almost every single match I did, the survivor where throwing hissy fits over how "op" he is. I mean seriously its freaking hillbilly. Anyways is this just me or are people forgetting that blight, spirit, nurse exist
thats just how bad the solo Q survivor average skill is...there is no surprise on that , doesnt matter what u play there is always 1 or 2 people killing themself or Dcing in 1 out of 4 matches.
outside of that , feels soo bad that the people and devs are gonna let billy in a terrible state for another year it seems like because they said "hey guys we nerfed billy for the PTB" and them "hey guys we reverted back the nerf
not at all the extra heat when sprinting is still there"and people are happier aparently or either they dont care about billy that much because of that...literally the basekit power has a lot of penalties + with how many junk and areas with questionable hitboxes there is on the reworked maps , makes you wonder , but hey maybe the killer has good addons to try something fresh...right?.
uhhh wait only 3 to 4 are actually good , while the rest are just terrible ... like the ultrarares where if not used together are just jokes.the addons that rewards the killer for "OVERHEATING" are soo depressing and pretty much not fun to use either.
and the bumping cooldown reduction addons...ohhh boy... that literally should be basekit like they did with legion when reworked or atleast the green one only.
Mah face when trying to overheat on purpose just to get a 24 meters TR and slightly faster pallet breaking speed with 2 addons.

Why survivors are so unnerfable?

Just.....how?
I mean when is the last time survivor got nerf before this patch?
6.1.0?
We are already in the 6.7.0 now.
Survivor got the first nerf in 7 patchs and they can act that BE is a killer main.
Just WOW.

I have seen countless matches where the killer suddenly becomes nice because a survivor put down their item that they probably have twenty more of on that character? I don't get it I really don't if a survivor drops an item while I'm playing killer I just down and hook them they lose the item either way so what's the point of giving them hatch? If I want to give someone hatch it's under certain requirements mainly if they've been sandbagged by their teammates other then that no. So I don't get it why are you suddenly nice to a survivor who placed their item on the ground when they probably can easily get one back maybe even two from the bloodweb.
STONKS , I'll do it as well BUT only for limited time items or if the survivor is a goofy Leon.

so are you going to nerf sprint burst?
Instead of an ability that could only be used when injured, had to be timed perfectly, half of the time didn't work because of the server lag even if you timed it correctly everyone I come up against now is just using sprint burst....
which literally can't be countered, is 100% guaranteed to work, requires 0 skill and has no draw backs.... I really struggle to understand why you changed dead hard to only work when being tunnelled because it's that unreliable that you just wouldn't pick it now over DS, Off the record etc.
I'd much go up against a survivor with DH and wait 0.5 seconds to bait it out like any good killer would instead of complaining it was overpowered...
like wise when I play survivor now I enjoyed using dead hard because it was extremely situational against a GOOD killer that didn't bait it out, now I have to wait until i'm hooked to get it for my second state so instead i'll just use one of the boring exhaust perks that are guaranteed to work from the match starting ....
Dead hard made you think about when you would use it where as the other exhaust perks are just switch your brain off dull.
as someone who just wait untill they waste the perk and them chase somebody else close by when they do , i got no issues with the perk + blood echo + mindbreaker is a good combo to counter early holding W "SprintBurst gamers
if we are talking about nerfing exhaustion perks i think increasing the exhaustion from 40 to 45 on tier 3 would be the best way to.
without nerfing Vigil ...

50 ms is aparently a bad ping while playing survivor i guess , those guys really had a good gaming chair.
jokes aside...McDonalds wifi weskers are not pleasant to go against thats for sure...but average good connection wesker are pretty much OK for me..no complains on that

skull merchant and knight doesnt need any buff ....A rework is the right waay to go . (not gonna explain why..because ..NO)
meanwhile legion mmm ...they can maybe delete the purple blade addon and change it to do something more "FUN" rather than making mending slower which is boring to play and go against. idk turning some addons into vault speed addons , silent vaults during frenzy and maybe something fresh like for each people on deep wound u move faster outside of frenzy , etc.
about basekit ..idk really + changing how deep wound works is a bit hard, because that affect is also shared across many perks and killer powers.

Lol I said I was trying it, I didn't say it was good. No need to write an essay because somebody is simply trying out a perk you don't happen to approve of. It's not that serious.
just sharing my experience with the perk , not blaming u for running it , i just think people are really focused on getting overzelaous value this days , almost 4/5 matches i play survivor / killer there is like 3 to 2 overzelaous and thats awful when i know for a fact that my teammates are gonna spend a lot of time on totems rather than doing gens when they should and as killer i get easier games because people are forcing themself to search for totems instead of repairing or going for rescues. (DCing sometimes because of that)
+ i play killer the most soo am just giving some general feedback about the build u are trying. (probably only useful on SWF) but other than that is like running autodidact , everyone knows that its pretty powerful BUT very situational and the same applies for overzealous with the 20% extra repair speed 🤔
-
@brokedownpalace said:
Just curious what everyone is running with all the balance changes.
Distortion is a must for me. And then I've been trying Inner Healing with Overzealous. My last perk I'm not set on and it kind of varies from day to day but Lithe, Bond, Counterforce and Blast Mine are some favorites.
am just keep using my usual build : "SB + reassurance + DS + resilience" or HOPE
idk why people think Overzealous is good?... when it literally gets countered by getting hit (even worst against plague and legion)
by the time u cleanse and walk to a gen , the time investment is not worth it
...just bring a waay less luck depending perk like ressilience for that (9% repair for free / vault speed / heal speed , etc) + also makes thana + dying light against plague or legion less poweful and annoying to deal with.
everytime i see overzelaous as killer or survivor , most of the guys running that perk end up dying because of wasting time searching for totems and cleasing totems only to allow perks like pentimento or haunted grounds for the killer.

@NothingThere said:
Stacking speed add-ons is fine. Alch Ring and C33 aren’t.
I want to say yes , but sadly those addons completly makes blight a torture to other side for mindgames since moving 20% faster on the second to third rush is just too good for just pretty little risk other than people not knowing how to react faster to go for quick swings on higher speeds , they had no punishment or downside to them , u move faster , u gain more distance while rushing + recharges at the same speed that a blight without those double speed addons , which isnt fair if u compare that to billy / wraith / legion and Oni which also had speed addons but not as powerful as blights addons.
simple nerf: making soo they increase the recharge time of each rush token , done , if u are good the nerf isnt gonna do nothing , if u are bad them the survivor can make some distance rather than outplaying a blight with that combo and 4 seconds laters the same blight is about to hit you. (+ double speed addons on a smaller map with a hardcore tunneler is just constant pain to deal with)
like 5% the yellow one and 10% slower token recharge on the green one. (adrenaline vial is fine)

What are the most busted loops in dbd to yall?
the ones that are only safe tiles connected into each others thanks to the RNG system that still allows those busted setups to spawn to this day , farm maps being the best example (especially cowshed)

So Wesker is already in a perfect spot. He doesn’t really need any major changes but I believe he can do with one simple change along with a fun little qol.
I think when you get unhooked the uroborous timer should pause until a conspicuous action is confirmed. To make it like DS so Weskers don’t tunnel as much. It won’t stop tunneling but it will make it not as strong.
it would be cool if you slam a survivor or throw them into a pallet or breakable wall it breaks. It would show how strong Wesker is in the RE games.
That’s really all he needs. His kit is so perfectly designed he needs nothing else.
agreed with this first one
the second one can be a funny yellow addon (basekit? with how buggy his power is , i dont think he needs that as basekit)
especially because how often you can get pull off to the other side after a pallet drop against laggy weskers.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oym4Y1EcGAEyes this can also happen with current wesker , pretty rare compared to PTB but still can happen sadly.... imagine that BS + a free pallet wasted ....yeahhh no (0:35 best example)

no this isn't a bait thread...she is still an m1 killer at heart
good survivors will run when they are exposed and having a claw trap to reveal their location doesn't really do much in the long run (wow they disarmed it on the other side of the map let me waste time going over there and the take it off before i walk over there).
the haste bonus is usually 3 percent (i rarely get 2 or 3 claw traps active and never once have i gotten all 4). of course putting out 4 drones is setting yourself up for failure since then you don't have any available to mindgame loops
i play a full chase build (enduring/spirit fury/nowhere to hide/bbq and chili sometimes switch it out with franklins or sloppy) as that is where this game is heading in the next patch.
i know other low tier killers will suffer more but lets be honest they arent getting looked at anymore (myers/trapper/pig/clown) and skull merchant was just released so she should be a priority to show that killers are still being tweaked and made more efficient.
so what are your thoughts on how to make the skull merchant at least a high a tier killer?
did you know that she gets free bloodlust on top of that haste effect , if you cant catch a survivor with +10% extra movement speed on a 4.6 killer thats just you playing badly or they were playing safe to avoid going down which is their only option to be fair, you cant loop a killer zooming with bloodlust 1/2 + 3 to more % of haste.
she is currently ok (still boring af to go against but pretty much ok in terms of balance) any good team knows that they just need to push the gens everytime she chases someone by being spread out and not letting her get free preassure on 1 gen only.
(she is good only against bad teams that dont know how to preassure different gens at the time) BUFFs? God , better not...

Not a big deal, I just bring in lightborn normally to deal with it. True occasionally I get entitled surivors complaining about me using a perk to help me to get them.
I simply tell them that I play for my own fun not for their's.
I would take flashlights that i can easily counter by always looking into walls when picking someone up any day rather than going against broken medkits and brand new part toolboxes with gen builds and boons that will get me destroyed because of not being able to keep preassure in any way.
if you are running lightborn i guess u just hate flashlights .... but WHY? infectious fright is a waay better tool for that.
they are only good when facing "GOD" players which is something u will almost never gonna see this days with how pathetic the survivor average skill currently is IMO , just remenber always look at the walls before picking someone and thats it.

Okay so a killer slugs at let's say one gen or zero gens okay it's annoying but hey they at least want a kill go for it but what I want to know is why slug at 4 or 5 gens. The game barely started and already the killer slugs it's basically just having the finishing mori update but a lot less short since if the finishing mori update was done a few seconds of an animation I'm back in the lobby and in the next match. But with the killer slugging at 5 or 4 gens it's me sitting there self recovered at max while everyone is down with one other teammate basically running around. I just want to know why slug at 4 or 5 gens because 1 or none at least makes somewhat sense for trying to get a least one kill because I get it matchmaking is garbage and your just trying to get some BP.
5 gens can become 2 gens within seconds pretty quickly, thats how BS are gens speeds without the killer making preassure and if survivors are playing smarter instead of wasting time searching on a chest and placing boons.
+ flashlights and looping are the only things fun as survivors (and some other meme perks) , if the killer doesnt want to chase me , them am gonna repair instead of being useless for my team and thats when gens starts flying because the killer didnt slug when they have to or they didnt tunnel when they should.

another game another bully squad i have crossed out their name for privacy and to prevent a witch hunt im just showing you what i gotta deal with on a daily basis
I woudlnt calll that something bad to go against , bully squads are fun to go against if they arent exploiting a specific map to hold the game hostage , if they dont care about doing gens.you will eventually win because they will ran out of resources at some point.
on the other I do hate "gen effiency bully squads" which are the ones that play safer the most and hold W everytime they can they just run to god setups to abuse the hell out of them + with broken medkit addons or brand new part toolboxes on top , ending the match within 4 minutes and just spamming salty comments at the endgame chat if they won.
(they usually are the ones that brings map offerings to BS maps)
like "haddonfield , garden of pain , cowshed , Ormond , etc"
no mither squads are hilarious to go against XD , they will eventually bleed out if they keep getting into the dying state. WIN/WIN
yeah at the start might be annoying but like i said if they dont care about gens and just wanna mess with you them there is no problems like , you are gonna win no matter what 😅.

To go against:
To play as (taking addons into considerations)

I just see the best billy players just spinning their camera a thousand times around a loop and landing the hit, like anyone can do that and people say its a high skill killer?
with how hard is to pull off a perfect curve and not miss by a 0.1 meter , yeah + how janky the hitboxes and autoaim are in this game , yeah i would call that more skillful than facing a blight spirit or nurse. (they need less practice but the payoff is huge)
the problem with billy is that he has many punishments for his power , and even if you play billy like a god , your reward by doing it is pretty little , he is easy to counter and 90% of his addons are terrible (if we are talking about facing average survivors , not babies)

Personally, I don't see myself using it anymore, even with a ever so slight buff. Getting a 20% gen regression 4 times (sometimes less then four) just doesn't seem like a good use of a perk slot for me. Maybe if it were 25-30, perhaps, but as it stands, i can't justify using one of four perk slots on it.
me too , 4 uses during an entire match is a joke IMO + brand new parts still exist + is still a scourge hook perk that basically still relys on luckyness with the hook spawns .... yeah the perk is no longer useless but is still bad right now..

Really wish that was the common case. I usually run resilience and ppl will endlessly teabag and not cooperate with the gen until i let them heal me and it irritates me like hell.
yeah , some people dont feel confident to do gens or to be useful whatsoever when they arent healthy. i feel your pain...

Two years since the thread.
Four years since 60 FPS was promised.
I'm definitely disappointed that there's been radio silence, though I'm not really surprised.
I'd say the odds of 60 FPS happening for Xbox One and PS4 (as well as budget PC's) is extremely slim at this point. If anyone was banking on them fixing it, I'd say to let it go.
You've given them four years. If it was a priority, it would've been fixed.
funny enough the "perfomance issues reports section" was also removed with the new forums, mmm interesting.....

Since they fixed the audio bug few weeks ago, I noticed there is far less Spirits than before the bug was fixed.
Spirit was common Killer, I saw her many times, daily even. Now Its back again how it used to be before the bug appeared lol.
Same happend with the Oni bug I belive. Many people just seek to get any slight advantage they can get lol.
Sad.
I wouldnt say "Sad" , i definetely do not miss facing zoooming coin-flips the killers while the audio was broken with MDR still existing, unlike oni , there was no way to prevent a spirit for using that bug. (was even worse with 4 slowdown builds)
with oni was just pre-drop stuff when you have too and bring a good mekits , move on....that bug wasnt that bad..IMO

You can change filters through your monitor which has built in filters playing on console
PC has programs like reshade , console doesnt.... + monitor changes are pretty limited , yeah u can select some things but not have the freedom to do it in-game. which is dumb alongside the fact that we still need to change a file only do disable antialising to this day....

The healing nerfs ENCOURAGE Survivors to not bother and stick to gens.
Most players aren't comfortable doing that. Casual Survivor players are going to be absolutely massacred by the vast majority of Killers while top-level teams are going to slam gens even more efficiently.
If these changes go through, I'd expect a fair amount of Killer nerfs in the following patches due to a sky-high Kill Rate.
hopefully nerfs for blight / spirit / nurse , i really hope , like dude , they nerfed billy in this patch , BILLY? WHY?

Please reduce the amount of pallets on the map. There are far too many which is precisely why I still hate playing on “new” Eyrie.
the map needs some RNG adjustments thats for sure , sometimes you can get multiple double windows into unsafe pallets or viceversa a 4+ connected safe tiles into shack which is dumb

I'm a console player and I just wanted to ask is it my fault and I should get better or survivor PC players can do better spins and can use killers like blight way better and easier. Lmk if I'm wrong and just need to get better
only difference is the framerate and the external filters that basically allows pc players to see the maps more clear and less darker unlike console
For the love of god BHVR pls add a brightness slider , PLEASE

From my understanding It still uses the p2p style of code where the killers client claiming they hit you = you get hit. The only exceptions to this are pallet drops and dead hard. Those two use the server in the middle to make a determination.
I wish vaulting were also server sided , feels bad having the right timing for vaulting stuff BUT because the killer is a bit laggy or got the hit first on their screen at the last second , the survivor just sees a total mess of BS hit on their screen especially if the survivor has lower ping than the killer , and thats one of the reason am currently playing killer the most outside of my questionable solo q teammates.
