"i dont like playing against high ping killers therefor all of south america should be incapable of playing dbd"

to some regards that isnt true , SA has dbd servers only on brazil as far as i know , the problem is well...THAT , there is no other servers on that region , Argentina , Chile , Colombia , etc ; are either forced to be match on the brazilian servers or being send to the USA servers at best , but we have to be honest , unless you are living on brazil your average ping should be 40-90 ms on most cases with a expensive good connection , however I dont think anyone will pay a lot of money to get a insanely good net provider on south america , just to play DBD at decent ping , like even games like valorant , csgo has servers there already for specific countries but idk why DBD has just "BRAZIL" servers for south america..

like dude , thisgame is not like CS:GO.

I remenber doing a question for the QoA once about adding more servers across more regions , not just South america , but my question was heavily downvoted over other ones that were asking about cosmetics , LOL.

game is designed to be played with ping higher then average, look at bots and how difficult is it to chase them, because they have 0ms(also because they cant be outplayed, they always know what you're doing, but ping also plays role). Or look at videos on youtube where good survivors play with low ping. It's just impossible for the m1 killer to chase them.

    u are joking , bruh .

dude back when the server where peer to peer anyone from every single part of the world was able to host their games with their connection , meaning that as long as your connection was GOOD everyone on the lobby were gonna able to play the game at 30 ms base which was amazing , but yeah the old animations , old locomotions were bad ngl but input wise , the game was more responsive than now with dedicated servers , most noticiable on Ghostface where his leaning mechanic went from smoother to clunky when dedicated server arrived.

I've just played a game as Nurse that the survivors had no chance winning. At 5 gens left, I could have finished the game as three were slugged and a fourth one was hurt.

Instead I've stopped the massacre to hook the three slugs and let the number 4 reset them. (Then I hooked the last one so they all get the same treatment.)

For the remaining of the match, I've chased and downed them, never hooking and letting them progress gens. I've left the Jill alone because she had given up from the start. I didn't want to break her further.

The Ace (clearly the best runner) took that opportunity to ask to be chased (because it's fun, or because it's good training, who knows?). And since I enjoyed him more than the others, he got my attention for the last few chases of the game.

And after a relatively long game of slug & heal ...

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/P1K9SCAQQ5NV/20230715193119-1.jpg

So this makes me think. Maybe a game mode where it's not about kills but about downs or hooks would be more fun for everybody? Maybe the length of the chases would be a factor? I feel there is something there.

After all, what we don't like is usually the time pressure of the generators or being sacrificed. If it's off the table, isn't it better?

    What do you think?

average nurse gameplay, what are you expecting? I like how nurse is probably the only killer that can run a entire meme build and still win 24/7 because how busted she still is when played correctly.

about "new gamemodes" , idk bud, BHVR probably doesnt like that.

Now that you cant stack enduring perks, Dead Hard was nerfed, and Conspicuous Actions are a thing, I wonder why its still 3 seconds.

Are they worried that people will still try to use it offensively?

I remenber back in the day when this was a thing to outplay the old DS against people using it offensively.

If Made for this is bad so Is bloodlust.

If made for this rewards the survivor for being "bad" at chase so does Bloodlust…

In the current state of dbd Neither should Exist In my opinion especially bloodlust considering it was a mechanic meant to counter infinites but infinites don’t exist anymore so I think that it maybe shouldn’t past tier 1.

As for Mtf I don’t think the perk should have two effects but then again 3% isn’t really much and the endurance is hard to get value from if the killer isn’t slugging.

1 is a mechanic that basically to this day can not be removed due to how poorly balanced are the maps and the only times it gets out of hand is when people reach bloodlust 3 but by that point u already lose the entire game if the survivor are repairing / also gets countered if you are on a god pallet which the killer is forced to break to continue the chase.

meanwhile you have mft which basically works passively without giant requirements , you dont need to be good to get value and it has the potential to be insanely broken on the already unbalanced maps but funny enough only the top tier killer can counter it by playing with their chase powers normally , meanwhile the m1 killer had to suffer it by not running an exhaustion addon / perk.

Tunnelling is popular strategy from day one.

It was understandable when maps was so survivorside.

It was tolerable when DS was strong.

Now maps nerfed and DS is garbage.

So why BHVR is not doing anything for this unhealthy strategy. It's very hated by survivors but yet BHVR is just ignoring all complains.

Imagine you are paying for this game but then one player just does not allow you to play.

Before someone is coming with "USE OTR" let me say this. OtR is the worst anti-tunnel perk ever. It has very easy counter, early hit. DS was so much better.

Plus DS was unexpected, killer did not know you have it or not. But it's so easy to figure if you have OTR.

Tunnelling is popular strategy from day one. ---I wonder why 🙃 gen speeds - bad map design----

It was understandable when maps was so survivorside. --cough .they still are , is just the average survivor skill being even lower-

It was tolerable when DS was strong. -Fair and I agree , current DS is a joke with the 3 sec stun , the deactivation on endgame is fine tho-

Now maps nerfed and DS is garbage. - I wouldnt say nerfed more like different , some loops are still strong others are garbage-

but thats just bhvr like always making things either too survivor sided or too killer sided in terms of loop strength.

  • @nars said:

Yeah except legions counterplay only exists for swfs. No solo team can effectively communicate their position and spread far enough to negate legions power.

Not to mention he just has zero counterplay in frenzy. He becomes a survivor that can damage you. Super fun for the killer but hell for the survivor. Only 360s and pallet stuns are actual counters to frenzy chases, the former relying on the killer being bad/console.

legion is absolutely boring. Even if you run away to a corner of the map, your terrible teammates might not and end up giving him 3 stacks of frenzy. Guess what, now if he finds you its YOU who gets insta downed even though you are the only one smart enough to try and use counterplay!

Plus if you are on a small map no amount of spreading out can save you. Not unless a navy seal swf runs to all four corners of the map the moment one of them calls out legions frenzying.

    Reasons you lose to legion:

    • Bad teammates
    • Map RNG
    • Lack of communication

    How to beat legion:

    • Have good teammates in soloQ or get a swf
    • Bring a map offering/hope to RNGesus
    • play in swf

And then you end up injured all game and mending forever because your teammates cant counter and legion has almost no counterplay in chase. Pinnacle of fun.

let me fix this real quick:

    How to beat legion:

    • Have good teammates in soloQ or try to bodyblocking the legion when he already hit you so you can prevent him to chain hits (FF isnt lethal like at all , unlike wesker legion has a massive cooldown when cancelling his power)
    • Just pre-drop when you have to play safer and save resources when healthy to use them later when injured.
    • Just hold W asap when the legion is coming for you - 10 seconds of frenzy gets countered easily by lithe or SB , even if you get hit you already took the killer away from your team which is huge for gens.
    • Never ever finish your mending into the legions TR , thats is like saying "Hey , get a free insta-down on me"
    • Try to force a hit-stun on a pallet , you get hit by him BUT he loses his power entirely for the next 20 seconds meaning he becomes a m1 killer with no powers or snowball potential during that time. BUT dont be that meghead that drops everysingle pallet like that wasting resources non-stop for no reason.😅

if you need a map offering to feel safer , idk what to tell you , just learn how to play on other maps and loops.

Respectfully, that change sucks. It's just better WGLF and the effect is bad.

Anyways, a 1v1? Really? Can't wait for people to hotdrop every pallet on the map.

No, the perk has no been impactful to me. There have been one or two Survivors who I feel have gotten good value from it, but that was easily remedied by not chasing them for the whole game. MFT doesn't do anything if you don't have anything to loop.

MFT doesn't do anything if you don't have anything to loop.

get hit ..... hold W , idk what else to say really . you gain 24+ seconds by running in a straight line and if you barely reached a loop ; there you go MFT value for free , you were injured , just 99% your bar.

    image.png

I personally as survivor or killer I find the perk really boring to use or go against but thats just my opinion i guess.

that perk is like overcome 2.0 to me , but it works all the time when injured , and once you remove that perk from your loudout , you forget how to loop without it.

  • @Pulsar said:

    Meh.

Remove the Endurance, it's weird and doesn't fit with the perk, and then the perk is fine imo.

Just seems like whenever either sides gets a new usable perk, people are upset. Sometimes, there is merit to it, most of the time there isn't.

normally i do agree with pulsar , but not this time , this perk is just terrible designed buddy , just go into a custom match with someone experienced a try playing a 1v1 on many maps , is not that hard to notice how much distance you are gonna lose over just breaking a pallet with a m1 killer or missing a hit barely just because of MFT.

only mobility killer powers and specific addon combinations should not be the way to counter such a strong perk like this ,

yeah lets keep a perk that hurts m1 killers even more meanwhile the S / A tier killer are gonna be just fine , what a logic.

    "Remove the Endurance"

or they can just buff that to 16 seconds and remove the extra 3% movement

Rewarding bad killers not just with bloodlust but an exposed effect on top of that thank god this even is gonna be over hopefully this stuff doesn’t come back next year

  • @jayz666 said:

Hot take bloodlust is a built in crutch for killers who aren’t good at the game and is also a built in counter to made for this the perk is fine but if it gets a nerf I think we can all agree bloodlust needs a nerf aswell why should killers get free haste for being bad ? and no guys there aren’t actual infinites in the game so don’t let the killer mains tell you that there is so Closest to an infinite now is garden of joy window

more like "if good setups / god loops gets deleted bloodlust needs gutting"

dont get me wrong I hate MFT but ..that perk only shows how insanely busted survivors can be with just a small amount of speed in order to make "already survivor sided loops" into "god setups with no mindgame"

the most effective way to play with MFT is playing smarter and safer ... pre-drop when you have too , make distance , repeat and abuse the 1 extra loop that the perk gives you pretty much on any tile to reach the maximun value out of the loop you are in , simple.

but i do agree that atleast bloodlust 3 should be removed.

trapper? sadako? trickster? doctor? do u even play the game??

trickster is in a good spot , buffing him will make him annoying and broken. (he cant get buffs or nerfs with how his power works)

doctor is already good , pre-drops can hurt him sometimes but nothing extreme really. (Solid Killer , high skill cap , high reward)

but yeah trapper and sadako really need some buffs .

Besides the main building? I don't see how the main building is even enough to call this map Survivor sided. It's undoubtedly pretty strong, but so are most main buildings.

I had a game there today where I was being tunneled by the Singularity, which normally I can handle pretty well...if there was anything usable in the map to help me loop. Besides shack (which was far from me once I started getting tunneled) and main building (resources only go so far), it was just a bunch of trees and rocks, with no good tiles in sight. Literally an entire quarter of the map had ZERO pallets or vaults, my friend checked for me after I ran through it mid-chase and thought I saw nothing (guess I was right).

So did I just get really unlucky? It was insane how far I would run and see that the resources were so few and far between. Just so confused how everything spawned so terribly. Good thing my friend and two randoms stuck to gens while I was getting tunneled or they would have been screwed too.

2 good pallets on main building that can spawn all the time / 2 good windows if you connect them , map is big , hard to see still , some "new tiles" are better than the usual ones , the map can spawn multiple safe pallet connected into each others to shack which is awful when a survivor connects them , hitboxes are janky on many plants or whatever they are , *sad billy / demo / buba noises*

Balance landing basically turns main building into a god loop , sprint burst is the same just 99 and use it to reset the loop.

only thing that benefits the killer , the exit gates and maybe just a single gen can spawn on a massive dead zone (still RNG).

Over 90% of my rounds I see killers using pain res, deadlock, sloppy butcher, pentimento and play thing. These perks are SO boring for gameplay, especially pentimento which is insanely overpowered because solo q teammates lack the logic of going back to a totem they cleansed and leave other teammates to do it despite not knowing where the totem is.

Also with these perks being the killer meta they are seen EVERY round yet when survivors use a perk often it gets nerfed, including survivor perks that are weak i.e., spine chill and MoM yet sloppy butcher for example was already meta before it got buffed but dev's still buffed it to the disgusting state it's in now.

Another example is thanatophobia which got buffed even though it was already meta then when devs realised what a massive mistake they'd made they reverted it but I'm yet to see a sloppy revert.

If dev's like to "shake up the meta" then why are the killer perks I've listed still the only killer perks being used, or does shaking up the meta only apply to survivor perks? The meta "shake up" destroyed survivor perks i.e., DS & Iron Will so they're never seen anymore but I'm still seeing killer perks that were apparently "nerfed" in the meta shake up, this is evidence the perk changes are unbalanced in killers favour. Why does "nerfing" survivor perks mean outright obliterate yet "nerfing" killer perks means slight power reduction so it's at least still useable?

what about adapting and using the perks and playstiles that counters them , boring? dude all of them are interactive perks.

you can ignore plaything - no pentimento for the killer , easy. also COUNTERFORCE destroys that playstile.

deadlock? just 99 your gen and leave others to reach 99 as well to finish it.

sloppy---literally forces everyone to smash gens or to rely on strong medkits , either waay unless you against a spirit or wraith , that perk is bad on many killers because addons exist with the effect itself on a lot of them.

plaything has a counter, just be more aware of not lossing LOS of the killer , if he isnt chasing anyone , means is going to you , and viceversa + you have a HUD use it to your favor.

  • @MDRSan said:

I’ve noticed it going either way as both killer and survivor. Hits connecting when it visually, clearly shouldn’t have tend to occur more frequently (at least from my screen’s perspective) when I’m playing killer but I’ve noticed at least sometimes on both.

One thing I’ve also noticed is the downed survivor’s placement tends to not be exactly where I made the downing hit. This happens more in chase as after a vault there’s really only so far backward they could teleport before they’d be in the wall. It’s like there’s a separate tracked position for calculating whether a lunge hit to the positional info that feeds in to the visual of where a survivor or killer are on screen.

I can confirm that currently dedicated servers are dying because of the event , unlike PTB were the servers were working waaay better ; on LIVE every match has one of this :

bs hits connecting even visually on the killer screen and worse for the survivor ,many input delays , high ping lobbies , servers crashing every now and them all the suddent. wait untill the event its over and we'll see.

  • @Ghoste said:

I know Killers can hit over windows, but sometimes I'll be over a vault for almost a full second, and I still get hit anyway. Wesker especially seems to get ridiculous hits at windows, like I'll be over the vault and he'll still manage to grab me. Does this happen to you guys?

the game prioritizes the killers POV for those interactions thats why its soo BS when the killer is laggy , and as far as I know the Devs confirmed that they have no plans to add a "validation system" for that since there is some regions without actual dedicated servers close by (90 - 160 ms players) meaning if that was implemented it will hurt some killer players and make their experience worse about getting their hits rejected ; just because the devs dont want to actually set up servers on more regions but yeah survivor had to deal with those loong arms hits even when playing at 20 ms since dedicated servers came out , thats fair i guess?.

On the bright side pallets had validation already which rejects the hits of the killers if hes lagging and you got the stun first on the servers screen, unlike windows where you are just forced to vault insanely earlier against laggy players because the game doesnt reject any killer hit on their POV on a window or pallet when vaulting unless the killer were having over 400 ms or more.

    Untitled Image

basically if the killer has more ping than you , you cant trust on vaults - skill issue-

I see a bunch of complaining about it and the arguments just make no sense, they say survivors don’t have to do anything to earn it besides getting injured, which is exactly what the point of it is, to reward risky plays, if a survivor wants to stay injured to have their made for this (which a lot do) then that gives the killer a chance to get an easier down, the main argument is basically survivors don’t have to do anything for it, but there’s already other perks that are the exact same way, ex. Resilience doesn’t require anything besides getting injured and you get a 9% buff to everything, but it’s rewarded that way because of risky plays, eg staying injured to get that bonus, and made for this isn’t completely uncounterable, you can’t even use it when exhausted, meaning you aren’t getting value from exhaustion perks if you use made for this with them, or very little value at least, and genetic limits is a direct counter to it, or other perks and add ons that cause exhaustion, the 3% haste isn’t anything crazy, I barely notice it when I play as killer, it really isn’t that bad

the main problem with the perk is that "average" to "bad players" arent really gonna get amazing value from the perk is they just use it as a hold W helper and when they do they are gonna said "Oh , thats nice , MFT value finally" , on the other hand people that understand how much distance and how smaller the hitbox of the survivor is , are gonna get a massive advantage against m1 killers when connecting tiles and knowing how to hug correctly the loops to make them even more stronger against m1 killers that had no build in - anti-loop

(which is bad , because playing m1 killers with no anti-loop is already pretty rough this days)

"the 3% haste isn’t anything crazy, I barely notice it when I play as killer, it really isn’t that bad"

that 3% can literally turn maps with a lot of safe connected tiles into insanely strong god setups if the survivor is good at looping , it literally gives you 1 extra loop almost on any tile if u ran the tile correctly tho , which means that the perk can extend chases even longer by just the condition of "you get hit , you get rewarded" unlike resilience which requires good timing still to get value out of the vault speed bonus , and them HOPE + MFT which is absurd.

soo basically MFT hurts m1 killers for the most part, against the top tier killer you can make the argument that the perk is "balanced", also the perk has not a single indicator to the killer to know when MFT is in play other than guessing which sucks HARD ..and makes you paranoid everytime.

but thats the problem only top tier killers and killers with specific exhaustion addons can counter a single but strong perk and that shouldnt be a thing IMO.

  • @IWasLeft2Die said:

It does seem like a lot of killer strategies have been pretty much removed or greatly discouraged (gen defense, hook defense, etc) which I think can be fine if there has been buffs to encourage other strategies (make hexes more feasible, making killers able to track more effectively naturally, able to chase more effectively naturally, etc) but I haven't seen a whole lot designed to buff those areas or to make them a greater possibility besides "well you cant really defend hooks or gens now".

Anyone else kinda want more playstyles encouraged directly rather than indirectly?

I still try to go for max hooks , however if survivors wants to play scummy using "MFT - pre-dropping non-stop" I will not hesitate into taking someone out of the game as soon as possible , even with the cakes , that perk makes me sick.

  • @drsoontm said:

When a survivor is too fast in the game, I assume it's MFT or a cheater and I make a point killing it.

I doubt I'm the exception (because statistics) so maybe MFT survivability isn't that great, unless the whole team uses it (which, granted, is often the case).

depressing fact: MFT currently stacks with the basekit haste effect when unhooked , meaning that you move 13% faster during that time , yeah ....that wouldnt be a problem if it wasnt because "YOU STILL GAIN THOSE BENEFITS DURING THE ENDGAME"

for people that dont know about this , currently you move 10% faster after being unhooked "BASEKIT" , no problem there..

but MFT makes that a 13% for free each time....yeah ...totally the perk isnt broken on many ways.

also babysister and hope can be stacked as well 🤤

Will there ever be any changes to the games networking to make interactions between players feel better and more accurate?

I personally want a validation system for a specific but important survivor interaction for the love of god :

    -window / pallet vaulting validation"

pallets already had this and they feel 1000 times better than back when the killer used to have full priority on them.

can windows get the same treatment BHVR?😪

Maybe if you have a good team but that's rare in solo que. They're either bad or DC/kill themselves on hook. When I play killer, I play Myers and Billy a lot and get 3 and 4ks regularly

you cant balance things around solo Q , that would be horrible.

thats more of a problem with the playerbase not wanting to learn how to play than with the game itself.

if all survivors play "decent" they should always reach the endgame with atleast 3 people alive ; and thats a fact.

they have the tools to do it but they prefer not to use them for some reason , (fun builds i guess? more like throwing the game)

  • @Zeon_99 said:

I'm sorry, but 99% of the time, the chases are almost the exact same as each other. You just hug the loop and turn the opposite side of where the killer turns. It's about reaction and at this point it's really just me looping the Billy for all 5 gens until either I go down from the NOED they always pack or they give up and run towards the gate. I'll admit I get a dopamine hit when I hear the saw, but only because I know it's gonna be an easy win with tons of chase points.

I can understand why he's loved, he's very simple to chase and there's no obnoxious, unfun anti loop like Artist or something, but I'd rather go against Bubba tbh, at least his saw is threatening.

unlike bubba , if the billy has insane control of his chainsaw but "INSANE" they can perform 1000 times better than bubba.

but thats the thing , not many player are masochist in terms of mastering billy ; and the other problem is that maps can be really be on your side or viceversa.

ohh yeah and the hitboxes on the newer maps makes any non-veteran billy player to give up at playing him.

  • @JordanMalicious said:

So I recently acquired the Knight and I've been absolutely loving his gameplay. Do I understand why people say he's boring? Yes. If all the knight player is doing is waiting for a 3 gen scenario/camping every hook, that's very annoying.

However, what I'm curious to know is does the knights power aggravate survivors? Or is it literally just how most people play him? Or both? Or is it something else...

I typically try to make the matches enjoyable for everyone. If I'm snowballing, I'll chill a bit and let a reset happen. If I'm falling behind, I may try to force a hook state to apply a little pressure. I feel like I play him fair, but I still see a lot of hate for the knight and I've had a lot of survivors BM me and I can only assume it's because they dislike the knight.

    Thoughts?

yup , I still hate being outplayed by a m2 power that force me to play in the most boring way to avoid dying.

    -*Knight puts the sword down*

-leave the loop , hold W

    -pre-drop.

    -repeat.

    Knight average gameplay.

How can a killer make several mistakes still win and complain? A survivor has to play near perfect these days

now tell that to the low tier killers that rely on survivor being bad at the game to win on many maps because map design still favors survivor for the most part.

I do agree that S - A tier killer needs some adjustments cough cough NURSE but not every killer can really make a lot of mistakes and still win like you said ; just look at billy , pig , myers , onryo , legion , trapper , Oni , Knight , twins.

if the survivor wants to really win , they just:

pre-drop - play safer - hold w - smash M1 - avoid allowing the killer to do a 3 gen - stay spread out - one guy with reassurance.

100% escape rate build against half of the killers of the game.

basekit 100% perfect? ....if hug tech wasnt a thing and collision wasnt soo bad when playing him on some maps;I would say yes.

sadly "speed addons" making his counterplay waay more luck / guessing depending are not helping.

alch ring --- everyone know why.

Compound Thirty - three basically making blight a better version of demo on some tiles on top of the hindered status effect.

You know whats the weird part about speed addons ? -- they increase the amount of distance you gain by almost 200% and on top of that it makes your second rushes waaay more hard to avoid because of the high speed.

and them you look other killers speed addons like billy , Oni , wraith and Legion. where most of their addons are not even close to the strength of blighted crow / rat.

"4 survivors using MFT almost every game is aparently less of a issue for BHVR"

In ALL MY games since the patch it did not have a single game with 4 MFT! And I would know, since I upload nearly every game to nightlight! In the last seven days, the pick rate by random team mates / survivors of MFT is at 18%. Sure thats quite much, makes it fifth most-picked perk, but still way to low for your claim. For MFT to be run "almost every game", it needs to be way higher than that, at least around 50%. Not even WoO reaches that.

So pls, stop such exaggerations. That doesn't help anyone.

got 5 games today "not in a row thank god," 3 to 4 MFTs with DH or lithe ..I guess i should play high tier killers or run 2 anti-exhaustion perks to avoid being outplayed by someone holding W gaining free distance on me.

but yeah a perk that rewards you with extra window of time to reach loops and gain more distance by just being injured isnt problematic.🙄 cough cough poor HAG mains.

NOW pair that with hope and there you go the most overkill combo against m1 killers at the end of the game " soo BaLaNcED".

also u right , i should maybe take screenshots the next time to show how miserable my games are with a team of MFTs 👍️

This is what happens when you just make changes based in stats. The kids ball glove was obviously one of his best add ons so why not shave off 10%. This is why I stopped playing him. He's trash on console and yall don't know what you're doing. Don't even get me started on cremated remains and nanomachine gel

funnier that they nerfed / changed some of his addons based in stats with this quick patch, but they just completely ignored how popular and busted MFT still is to the point where the perk has become meta since the first couple of days.

🤔 4 survivors using MFT almost every game is aparently less of a issue for BHVR compared to a single killer player trying to have fun with their addons on a B+ tier- killer (because is pretty map depending).

I dont understand how quick they just said "yeah lets change this addons a bit some got nerfed, even when people are still learning them"

but the MFT situation is like..

dear lord bhvr fix the servers already...playing the event while having a lot of connection issues and higher ping isnt FUN.

  • @Dreh said:

No, you're not the only one. Here in South America, pretty much everyone is experiencing this, and everyone is complaining. It's just baffling that the developer has ignored this situation, especially during this anniversary event.

I knew something was off with the servers when the event started , the server were already bad when a killer was lagging , but NOW ...ohh god is just 1000 times worst than before.

  • @HALOGEN said:

So I boot up the game to play the anniversary event. Everything seems to go fine, until I actually get in a game. I get terrible lag spikes because of the connection loss, even if I play on wi-fi or ethernet cable. I have 2K hours and I mostly played on wi-fi, rarely getting issues. It's unbearable to play and I just DC to do something better. Has anyone else experienced something like this before?

same happening for me , my overall ping went from 60 - 90 solid ms to 90 - 160 ms , for whatever reason since the event started , and also i keep seeing red indicators of the survivors as well , no matter what roll am playing.

-dedicated servers suddently shutting down and kicking everyone with a DC penalty every now and them.

-insane higher ping on almost 7/10 of my games , same with the killer am playing against.

-some fps drops / lag spikes during the event as well.

WIFI? ohh god that must be awful.

Probably the easiest killer / playstyle in the game and with the healing nerfs it just feels like an absolute chore to play against him.

Sloppy, bamboozle, shadow dance and boom you win 90% of your games.

I hate to sound like I’m just complaining but playing against Wraiths just always feel awful and the dude absolutely destroys solo queue teams.

dont heal , play safer around pallets , avoid deadzone areas , push gens simple.

note: 1 guy should be always healed for hook rescues and thats enough.

and thats how you beat a wraith doing this , using "Sloppy, bamboozle, shadow dance" means no gen defense at all , your only slowdown is downing survivor quicker which is something not soo easier to do if the survivor arent potatoes , or if the map you are playing on has a lot of safe tiles.

I had a match earlier like thos today. It was a Bubba on Mother's Dwelling that camped two survivors first hook till they died. Me and the last survivor popped the remaining gens, and right as the exit gates opened, he popped up to hit us with NOED. Like, he didn't even do anything that match and was rewarded for it.

while i dislike camping with my soul.....you are talking about "Mother's Dwelling" which is now even waaay survivor sided , still one of the biggest maps in the game and more safer than the old one , I dont blame that bubba.

if you play that map correctly against a m1 killer , easier 4 man escape , 3 if someone gets camp to death.

The Mastermind is not going to return prior to the event starting no. Unfortunately the fix requires more time than that.

is legion going to be fixed as well or kill switched anytime soon?

    about the bugs:

currently legion has visual and audio bugs on the survivor POV + he cant vault some windows on many maps , mostly on ormond.

while I consider it a small bug ,I understand that people can say this to be a really gamebreaking bug at some points because you dont know if the killer is on a lethal - non-lethal state or if he actually is using their power or not.

Because it always gets a lot complaints.

First CoH and now Made for This.

And then people are asking why survivors are using same perks over and over again. Because you are not letting devs to make good survivors perks. Whenever they do, you are asking nerf immediately.

Nobody complains about Teamwork perks or 80% of survivor perks tho because they are just garbage.

if you think that a perk that literally makes 50/50 tiles into a 75/25 against m1 killers and also gives you even more benefits than Dark theory itself its fine just look at this:

All Survivors benefit from the following effects when inside the Boon Totem's radius:

    • 2 % Haste  Status Effect.
    • This effect lingers for 2/3/4 seconds after leaving the Boon Totem's range.

meanwhile MFT only requirement is being injured + also gives you a endurance effect on top of healing someone , busted perk IMO.

making already stronger loops into god setups and god setups into infinites is just terrible design buddy , Im sorry but the argument of saying that "MFT proves that survivor cant have busted good perks" sound pretty entitled and bad if we want a healthier gameplay because if you are bad with the perk thats good no worries there BUT there is people that are good at the game and they can really get insane value out of it and even abuse it to the point where is just stupid and unfair for m1 killers, that how it is.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KBBSoDtFEQ

from 3:36 / 6:24 and soo on you can literally see how much of a difference this perk makes , that ace should be already downed if it wasnt because that 3% gave him enough distance to reach another tile , and the same applies to other maps as well , but instead he make it to the tile and not only that he was taking even more value from the car loop when that shouldnt be the case with a perk so easy to trigger. (also Im not a fan of true , but this is where the perks shows how broken it is on good hands honestly)

Thoughts? B-tier isn't really ordered correctly, mostly has killers I've barely used for the bottom 5 or so.

makes me sick that nurse hasnt really moved a tier down atleast after sooo many years.

also billy? better than legion?....ok ...is not like billy is already such a pain to play as or doesnt have many hitbox issues on top of insanely higher skill cap and punishments for a power that gets countered by doing a easier sidestep when the killer starts the chainsaw sprint to curve on some tiles , same thing with demo and hag tiers ....WUT?

  • @GHOSTfaceP3 said:

He's already really good in skilled player hands, sure against a swf he might suffer a lil bit all killers do....I play solo and honestly he's kinda oppressive especially with team mates that are not the most reliable

the slowdown while charging the EMPs was totally unnesesary IMO.

    only complain there..

  • @mees said:

I'm a killer main and have really been enjoying the singularity. No matter how the match goes he's lots of fun to play (in my opinion). But I'm curious if it's also fun to face the singularity, so please tell me about your experience facing him.

my only complain with the killer is the addon that removes his counterplay , idk which one is soo , Im talking about the one that breaks pallets when you teleport to someone in front of you instantly , that addons is busted IMO.

that addon just convert the killer into a "hold W , pre- drop stuff to survive"

  • @Annso_x said:

What do you guys think about the new map ?

I hated it in PTB but there's much less clutter now so I like it a lot more. I got a protection hit by jumping off the main building's roof and it was quite fun.

I hate it , hitboxes are bad on many areas (atleast with range killers and blight) , main building without atleast 1 level of bloodlust or a vault speed perk as killers becomes a infinite and even worst with balance landing . there is areas that can spawn with multiple long safe pallet next to each others and others that spawn only one into a 20 meters of deadzones , the map hurts my eyes when tracking survivors or the killer, the ambient sounds of the map are SOOOO loud (plants , objects , rocks, etc) , at the point that it literally can hide footsteps and confuse you if you heared an actual survivor or if it is just the ambient sound.

    @Dwight_Fairfield said:

The shadow of the bird flying around above is very distracting as killer. I keep thinking it's a survivor.

And if that ends up being 'not fine' then it can be rectified with nerfs to those specific killers. That's not a reason to avoid implementing accessibility features.

I hope soo , not saying it shouldnt be implemented , but I can see this being a problem if those 2 killers do not recieve a nerf to their addons and how nurse works by that point.

Like , i personally main billy and this change sounds pretty good but them i remenber ...Nurse exist + blights addons exist...you have to take those 2 killer in mind when changing / adding stuff to the game ALWAYS.

Game balance should never be brought up in the conversation of accessibility. Every killer will have access to it as does every survivor the heartbeat visualizer. It is fine.

nurse with extra FOV isnt "fine" am telling you.

blight with busted addons + shadowborn basekit isnt either.

    thats what am afraid off...

Good, finally some good news on this after so many topics.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3448890#Comment_3448890

Not only is it not some massive buff, higher fov ruins any and all muscle memory with said killers, while also making sensitivity feel different and require reacclimation. Also higher FoV makes focused vision worse and peripheral better, making it easier to hit obstacles when using those powers. Its not a buff, its QoL.

thats the thing "its a fov "SLIDER" people that want that advantage can just set 120*" "

meanwhile people that enjoy the current FOV will not bother to increase the FOV...soo idk how I feel about giving sweatier players even more power on their hands on the already S/A tier killers - higher fov can easily make mindgames on nurse and blight waaay more to their side when mastering their new but bigger FOV.

    image.png

like I said , not complaining BUT yeah ....I can see this being a problem in the future if those 2 killers do not get changed by that point.

  • while i do like this upcoming change , this is a massive buff for killers that benefits alot from having LOS on the survivor to use their powers, like nurse / blight/ oni and billy

which technically will make nurse / blight more easier to play , shadowborn on those 2 killers is already pretty good , but now BASEKIT ? , I hope they nerf blight addons before doing that , I really hope soo.

on the other hand the bigger fov is gonna be really sweet on billy ...not complains there.

We hear many examples of bad addon kits such as Blight having many super busted addons, Executioner having very few viable addons or Myer's having tombstone piece but I'd like to talk about the opposite. Addon kits that have a variety of good options that give different play styles without feeling oppressive or unfair. My personal favourite is Dredge as each addon provides a different direction to play. There are many ways to build and play for nightfall and the different addons giving you different ways to stay in nightfall means every build has ways of utilising the best part of its kit. They're also several addons that give more generic bonuses to benefits in chase, infomation and debuffs. This allows you to play Dredge as a master of infomation, a killer that constantly flips between day and night or temporarly becomes the reaper during nightfall. You can play for a long game with debuffs and duration or a quick one with Haddie's Callender and nightfall charge, with the best part being that almost all of its addons are viable if you do play into them. My only real complaint is that dredge almost feels like it lacks direction without addons but if that's the price to pay for one of the best addon sets and build variety I'll take it.

    blight and wraith

    Garden of Joy and Borgo.

    This'll be fun. /s

thank god Map Repeat Prevention exist....oHHH...right.....it doesnt work on "events" .......WHY tho?🤨

yeah lets just send killers into by far the worst maps in the game to have "FuN" during the event , best idea ever.

great i like playing on a big open map with a strong red filter that hurts a lot when tracking , also has a insane amount of safe connected tiles/pallets into each others with no mindgame and can be only be countered by huntress , BUT not only that it also has an extra small mini shack window structure that can spawn on 1 corner of the map to make things even BETTER on top of the most safer shack in the game because of the random stuff on the window. 🤔

about garden of pain.....ughhhhh ......I guess I'll be running bamboozle during the entire event to handle the infinite on m1 killers or be forced to play huntress i guess , soo much fun.

1.With Rancor as a killer, you are able to one-shot -down the Obsession and KILL him/her directly when all the gens are done. The obsession may even get deprived of the chance to use his DS, let alone someone doesn’t have DS and just get bad luck.
2.Meanwhile, the obsession can simply see the killer’s aura for a mere short time, which is of little benefit.(the killer can see you as well)
3.I think this perk is unfair to the Obsession, especially those who got bad luck and accidentally got spotted after 5 gens.
4.But other obssetion-related perks have both good and bad influences on the killer/survivor. (Let’s not talk about the DS) Object of Obsession takes great risks to get spotted by killers; Play with your food and Save the best for last allow your obsession to flee; Dying light is powerful but you must sacrifice your obsession early; Remember me delays the time of opening gates except the obsession.
5.So here’s what I’m trying to say: should this perk get nerfed, or get changed to be more balanced?

the info as killer its nice but not INSANE tho , i like running that perk on some killers with endgame builds about rotating obsessions with perks like Nemesis , etc and go for mori kills at the endgame with no way out

and as survivor you can get the aura reading for free everytime a gen gets completed, once there is a 1 gen left you should play more stealthy and thats it , ez escape for you unless you are just sprinting into the killers face.

(ALSO THE KILLER CANT SEE YOUR AURA WITH RANCOR )

the only thing visible are the bubble notifications when the last gen pops , and the killer at that point can just GUESS who is the obsession and try to find him. (if not ,you get 0 value)

3.I think this perk is unfair to the Obsession, especially those who got bad luck and accidentally got spotted after 5 gens.

Dude ...there is thing called HUD that tells you when the last gens are about to pop , no only that the HUD shows who is the obsession since the start of the match and on top of that you get 4 chances to know if the killer is running rancor by just seeing the killer aura all the suddent when a gen pops since the start of the match as well.

I dont think the perk needs changes...BUT that just my opinion.

    You know it's intentionnal right?

As a survivor you are suposed to runaway, hide...

If you get an angle, good for you, it's not meant to be guaranteed to survivors... that's what his lean is for, like, literally.

his old reveal mechanic was more functional IMO , the one that they change when legion also was reworked , completely broke his reveal mechanic in some waays am telling you ...

"the box detection" is way more inconsistent as killer and survivor on top of the fact that they reduced the maximun range to reveal him. (which is fair , because you shouldnt be able to reveal the killer across 50 meters)

but also you shouldnt be revealed behind 2 walls just because there is tiny little gap -not visible (in the object collision of a map)

and as survivor you shouldnt be looking directly at the killer at 5 METERS and still not even starting to reveal him just because some random object blocks the reveal box somehow.

thats just annoying and stupid for both sides , am sorry but it is

1 … 3 4 5 6 7 … 17
