I did and it has me honestly questioning if the devs are actively trying to ruin the game. I can't make sense of what they are trying to do and I can't find where they have explained it.
I think they thought one thing and did another, but realizing it hasn't panned out they might be working on something. Matchmaking and Sound always get broken though. Then again this actually could hurt the game. A Blood Hunt with a faulty system could push new players away.

With all that is screwed up in this game, long wait times for red rank survivors, impossible to find a game for yellow and brown rank killers, you're upset they didn't do the bloodhunt when it best suited you?
Did you see OhTofu's reasoning video? It makes some sense honestly.
-
This probably the first time I have been able to participate in a blood hunt for a full day. I had the day off for once and got lucky.
-
Happen to find the one on the new map? I haven't had the chance to look.
-
- BP is bloodpoints
- BBQ and WGLF are farming perks
- SC Self Care
- SB Sprint Burst
- DS Deceive Strike

I would like to add that, most experienced survivors can guess you have Surveillance if you go directly to them after they start working on a regressing generator.
Less obvious then Discordance tho thankfully. Thanks for the info I never really paid much attention to the use of Surveillance before. Especially as a Survivor I rarely see it. Thanks for the tip though.
-
@PistolTimb said:
The sound of gens being worked on is just turned up, same with how stridor just raises the volume of survivor breathing/injured sounds. You can definitely tell when the killer has it.
I rarely see a Killer use it and was not sure. Thanks.
@AhoyWolf said:
You can hear yourself when the Killer is using Stridor, I think it works the same with Surveillance. (But I'm not 100% sure)
My thought process as well. Either way guy above answered

Yeah I think gens are pretty slow to be honest. They are fast if you are up against 3 toolboxes. But big deal. Hex is a perfect way to counter balance this.
Also I've been trying to get Pop goes the weasel for Freddy but it hasn't come up in the bloodweb yet. Is this not a Freddy perk? Is it teachable? Maybe it comes after prestige?
Problem is people use Hex: Ruin as a generic perk so when they see 3 toolboxes they dodge or they break because they can't play without it.

I was looking at the roadmap for 2019, and got a bit confused since there were FOUR chapters on it, yet we have only gotten THREE. (Ghostface, Stranger things, Oni/Yui). Apparently, as i understood it, the one chapter that is missing was supposed to come AFTER stranger things and BEFORE the oni/yui chapter. So where did that one chapter go? Have i missed something? Feel free to fill me in.
You mean the Ash DLC that got spoiled early so they dropped it early?

Ever going to stop crying about survivors?
BT and DS are like the only tools they have to defend themselves against a camping and tunneling scumbag and seeing how u keep crying about the same things, it is doing it's job well enough.
I seriously can't @ killer mains with their whining about almost every single thing survivors have.
If DS wasn't commonly abused because of a 60 second timer. If it went away when another person was hooked or unhooked I would think it was balanced.
@MegHasCuteFeet said:
Do a mistake while looping? Just Dead Hard to the next pallet and prolong the chase for another 30 seconds atleast.
Can't outrun the killer with borrowed time on you? Just Deceisive Strike him.
Get slugged? Just use Unbreakable.
Oh and killer get what? Noed? Good for getting one kill I guess because Killers don't have any pressure when all generators are powered regardless.
Dead Hard is on you as a killer after the first time you miss it. DS needs a little tweak to be fine and balanced. Unbreakable is a fun perk, but very situational at best.
All of the issue's you speak of are very small at best.

No trap refill say from the locker??
Nope never had a issue with RBT. After putting somewhere between 100 to 300 hours into her. Going from rank 10 to 1 several times. Her Traps are good the only issue is her dash and crouch speeds. Her Addons need some love since all should affect both parts imho.
Really I dont mind the exposed on dash or not, but just sucks that after all that set up you get nothing.
-
Same all it really did with the changes was push bad Spirits down and make good Spirits more obvious.
Less likely to see a bad killer get carried by Spirit anymore.
-
Cross Save. So all the cosmetics and time I put into my PS4 I can send to PC and never worry about it.

I just ran a Huntress around a single unsafe pallet for a gen and a half while she tried to throw a hatchet at me, and she couldn't.
I think she deserves a small buff to her wind up time so she has a little bit of help against the smaller loops.
Doesn't this just mean the Huntress you played was bad in general? Usually as Huntress you either do the Hatchets or you M1 or mix and match. This just sounds like a inexperienced Huntress trying to do Hatchets.
Not only that they let you loop them for that long.
-
@AllMyLemons said:
Does she need a buff? And what would you do?
I used to play her at lower ranks but then i started to use other killers that performed better.
I love that killer but i dont know why you wouldnt just use ghostface if you wanna be stealthy. I dont have a ghostface but from what ive seen hes a better option. Also i dont see amanda used at red ranks so much.
The sound she does when charging ambush is just alerting everyone so its sometimes better to just go and m1 people.
Also give me some builds that youve had succes.
Pig is really good, but the issues she faces are mostly these
- Exposed wont Trigger on a Ambush Attack for how hard they are.
- Crouch speed and movement speed are too slow.
- Ambush Dash Attack vocal too early making it borderline useless against good survivors.
- Addons need Rework.
She is fine after that.

All 3 perks are a overpowered in one way or another. I like the ideas though just the strength is off the charts broken. This was never balanced. As a joke phenomenal if not your ideas of balancing DBD need to be relooked at. Love.your creativity tho.
- Protection has no active downside while becoming the best body block or hook block perk in the game.4 survivors with the perk and a killer should never be able to hook a survivor. Free escape you say?
- Signal is just a map wide inf movement speed buff that will enable weaker loops to become infinites because of vault speed. Straight up Killer nerf?
- Cheeseburger basically a better Inner Strength with 4 immediate uses. Also insta needles just got nerfed so let's bring 4 into the game as a perk.

Thanks. Unfortunately my steam account was lost when dedicated servers came out. It was a secondary account from my main steam because I started on PS4. Here you go. First of all my build. Ruin, Spirit fury, enduring and Corrupt intervension. This od the best possibile build on legion. You don't need any tracking perks because your power is great at It, so you can focus more on slowdown and perks that help you in chase.
Tips. When someone is going for the unhook, hit the unhooked survivor with Frenzy first, then go for the healthy one.
When you managed to hit multiple survivors with frenzy and youre chasing the latest survivor you have found, and you noticed injured survivor that is selfcaring of just running. Go for him. This survivor wasted a little bit time to mend alredy, while the peron who you chased didn't, so you're buying yourself extra time.
When you hit your first survivor with Frenzy you need to play attention for the heartbeats volume.
1 If there is no hartbeating, this means that there is no survivors without deepwound within your terror radius, and you can close the gap between the person you've injured a few seconda ago (using speed from your power) then cancel the power and down him.
2.If there is quiet heartbeat, that means that survivor is at the edge of your terror radius and you shloud not go for him, and you shloud do the same thing as in pointy no 1.
3. If heartbeat is intense you defenitley shloud go for another injurys on survivors.
Well maybe i've go this rank 1 with Legion because i have over 2k hours. I know where survivors spawn on every map and i don't have problem finding my first survivor at all, so i can build my momentum almost immediately. Mindgames are big part of my succed. Being able do get easy hits on survs here and there really helps win games. I can't write you how to mindgames, this is something you need to learn or someone needs to show IT to you.
Ty for reading my book.
I'll message your profile with my current Legion perks so maybe you can help me with a build if thats ok?

So im a rank 1 console player and i had a chance to play dbd in a pc cafe and holy crap the skillchecks dont have any problems.
On console you need to press it earlier to have a great skillcheck, even with 80 ping i need to press the key outside the great skillcheck to get it and i thought it was the same on pc but i was wrong.
On pc you really need to press it on the white area and god it feels so satisfying to do a gen in 70 secs because youve hit every skillcheck.
I got a new tv for my ps4 before the ps4 died. While my old tv had the latency between hitting the button and the skill check stopping. My new tv had no issues and it stopped when I pressed it.
So it's not really a issue it's either a bad hdmi cord or a bad TV for gaming.

Wait seriously? I know they can pip easily without killing, but how do you play them? I would love some strategy, hints, and tips how to play them. I generally like to play most Killer's who's not Billy or Nurse.

Legions better than Nurse according to a Dev statistics.
Plague is good like really good. While Legions good as well. Plague wont lose to her own power.

4ks should count for the challenge, not a merciless rating. It's almost impossible to get that rating unless you're at ranks 20-8.
I think the 4k should be the adept. It's literally the opposite of the survivor's adept. I've always thought that while the community may be divided into survivor vs killer. We should attempt to shorten the gap by making things as similar as possible or at least directly relative to one in another.

- That is an example
- You know how strong shack is?
- And don't trapper, hag and Freddy already waste time by default when setting things up? Freddy maybe not but trapper and hag yeah. So what is the difference? Placing 3 traps in three different location waste just about the same amount of time as taping shack three times.
Hes I know how strong it is I abuse it quite regularly when I play survivor.
Because placing 3 traps in such a small location is a waste of traps. Even tho ya shack is strong when setting up you ask yourself whats the purpose of this trap. With 3 traps you may of secured shack, but you now suffer elsewhere big time. At this point why bother playing a killer with Traps because your playing then badly.
-

I would feel bad for you, if you weren't a Nurse, with ruin, and other extremely meta perks (noteably, ruin, on Nurse. OOF), and the survivors had perks that were actually game changing. They didn't.
Basically, if you lost to them, as a Nurse, with ruin, BBQ and Nurses Calling...I don't think it's the games fault, no matter the rank. You had a significant advantage.
Yet Nurse is the worst killer nowadays according to the statistics.
-
I'll be honest I absolutely hated the rift. Way to grindy with little to no reward. Challenges were obnoxious at best. With some being far more of a hindrance than fun.
It felt like both sides had fun and unique challenges, but then some were ridiculous. Like Tome 4 having for master quest "sac 4 people on basement hooks vs escape with claudette in a single trial" how was this fair?
The overall experience was supposed to be reasonable at a regular casual play, but I play a good amount after work roughly 2 to 5 hours a day every day. This by the Devs calculation should of had me finish the Rift before the 3rd one dropped, but I managed to finish it during the 4th.
Honestly if I had not bought the premium rift pass. I woulda stopped playing for other games. I mostly did anyways after I hit 70.
10/10 would not recommend purchasing in the future.
-
I did mine at rank 12 iirc. It was still brutal at rank reset. Wraith, Plague, and Billy were my hardest ones I have done and I needed to do them all at lower ranks.

I agree, but it's a funny coincidence nonetheless.
I agree about the speediness of changes, but I would rather see perks changed before maps.
I would rather have maps rebalanced first. A lot of issues can be figured out or fixed by map adjustments.

Well help him out too yellow honestly and help him with basics he might miss and a KYF group. Not sure which region your in or I could help you out as well if he needs it. Least I wont boost the killer rank.
I'm not a good survivor honestly. I never did it on PC even before dedicated servers. So I'm a bit of a special case when it comes to Mouse and Keyboard Survivor. Have the knowledge, but lack the skills with M&K to pull it off......guess I'm just bad.

A new start for everyone!
I think this was already needed with the new rank reset system to balance the popularity on different ranks. Atm it feels like 90% of the players are in red ranks. And I know from friends who recently picked up dbd that the Q times in grey ranks are ridiculously long, which scares away new players.
Is your friend on PC? I had to restart over on PC due to my own stupidity of forgetting the email and password to my DBD dedicated account. I noticed beginning rank killers have upwards of 20 to 40 minute waits. Survivors get a near instantaneous Lobby. Around rank 16 now and lobbies are about every 10 to 15 minutes.

I'm having more and more games like this where from the start, the killer is using the three gen strat and will not chase. I could see a counter to it if I were SWFing and could get some help, but I spend the entire game trying to get one done, and being chased off, when my teammates have no idea whats going on and get all the gens done outside the area.
Is there any counter to this as a solo player with teammates who don't realize what's going on? And is anyone else seeing this more and more? It's getting to the point where every time I play, it's several games in a row that killers are doing this from the start, and like I said, as a solo survivor, what do I do (besides just kill myself to get out of these boring games)?
Is this a result of the challenges making the game awful and killers just want to kick x amount of gens in a game and therefore it's happening SO MUCH MORE frequently as the challenges are wrapping up? I didn't touch the game for three days because I was so tired of this, and two out of my last three games have had this happen.
Long story short it's incredibly hard to break a 3 gen strategy. While possible to do of someone hard focuses 3 gens. Chances are your gonna lose. Best thing you can do is get another survivor's attention and break the strategy.
-
So how do you get benevolent, evader, gatekeeper, devout, malicious, and chaser emblems without having to deal with the other team? I mean if none of these emblems require the other side what have I been doing wrong as a Survivor or Killer?

Since you seem to suggest that farming is an intended feature of the game, I think we should end our discussion here. We have vastly different views of the game and this is not really leading anywhere. Have a nice night.
I dont actually, but you may as well accept it is part of the game. Intended or not people will farm for events, or because of Rift challenges, or simply because someone wants too.

If you frame it like that, sure. I'm referring to the intended gameplay.
Still doing the intended stuff just without consequences. Most killers will kill you if you dont want to join in.
