  • Lets see here hmm....

Not all the maps have been rework yet

More then half of killer perks are either garbage or somewhat okay

Maps that haven't been reworked yet still have certain tiles and loops that are unfair to killer, even sometimes on the reworked maps their is still bugs need to be fixed

Lets not forget about how experienced survivors play

Survivors have gotten more better perks then what killers have been getting

And last but not least, survivor can easily just as killer can as well, corrupt the data by making it look like BL is needed or BL is not needed

Yes BHVR, a very well thinking well placed timing to take off BL, yes, to gather some valuable data.

Also im not for BL, BL is very outdated, im just pointing out the obvious and the obvious flaws to this so called "test"

OH and we still have killers that have a walk speed of 110% or lower :D

  • The truth is, everything in those changes is just a hard nerf to them, the only good thing to come out of it (which really can still be counter) is making the entity blocker last longer when you down someone at the gates when victor was on them

  • badham preschool says otherwise when it comes to dark maps, im baffled that BHVR has yet to fix that map

  • "We are taking account into this and seeing what we can do" -BHVR at some point when they leave a reply here, when really, they are not gonna do anything lol

  • oh wait.....this is an old ass discussion, wth? oh well, its still a good idea even now. lmao, who brought this back up?

I can see your point, but what I mean by punishment is that you're making things harder as they do well which is just a different PoV to how you think of it.

I can also see the value of forcing survivors to put more focus on the generators rather than looking around for the killer.

So what you are saying is, survivors are having to actually try now? instead of having a dent in their head and holding m1? Which is what both survivors/killers want? But you think that is bad?

    @thesuicidefox said:

I proposed something of a similar name a while ago. This is meant to address the same issue (high rank gen rush) but it is a different concept.

Basically, as you work on a gen it begins to overheat. The faster you do the gen, the faster it overheats. This means toolboxes, perks, or teamwork can make a gen overheat faster than normal. If, however, you were to just work on a gen solo with no speed buffs, you can do the entire thing and only enter the first overheat stages when it is near completion (~10s). In order for overheat to go away completely, survivors have to not work on a gen for a short period of time (something like 30s at max overheat). However this duration is not exactly required, as you won't be stopped from working on the gen at max overheat.

Survivors and killers can tell how much a gen is overheat by the amount of smoke coming off the generator. The more overheated the gen is, the more smoke it produces until it gets to max overheat.

When a generator is overheating a few things happen based on the amount of overheat:

    1. Skill checks become more frequent and difficult.
    2. Regression penalties increase. This includes when a killer kicks an overheating gen, it will regress faster than normal during the period it is overheating.
    3. The generator makes more noise and the overhead lights flicker more brightly.

When a generator is at max overheat the following happens:

    1. The generator catches fire (effect similar to trash can fire).
    2. The generator may produce a failed skill check sound/effect during a good skill check, however the skill check will still register as successful.
    3. If the killer kicks the generator during this time, the Entity will block it for 10s. However, doing this will regress the overheat by 50%.

EDIT: When a generator is completed, the overheat progress is split and applied to all remaining generators.

This would make gen rush more difficult, but wouldn't stop survivors having to work on a gen (unless killer kicks it while it is at max overheat), and killers have a bit more control over generators especially later in the game when gen rush is more likely to happen.

My only suggestion change here is that, depending how fast the regression rate is, that 10 seconds of the entity blocking needs to change.

Remember, you said after a killer kicks the gen when the gen is in max overheat, that knocks off 50%.

If the regression is slow, then yeah, 10 seconds may be fine, even 12 or 15 seconds and its a trade of, survivors are off the gen, but, in trade, more regression is knocked off over time for them for when they get back on a gen.

If the regression is too fast or just fast, the 10 seconds is not a good trade off for helping knock off 50% of the overheat for the survivors and that 10 seconds will be useless like thrilling tremors.

The other factor, which sadly, I don't think you will be able to control or do anything about without making it unfair, is how common gens are gonna get max overheat in a single match, which will also dictate if that x amount of time the gen is blocked is a good trade off of knocking off 50% of that overheat bar, along with the regression rate.

Also, it would be best if you put in information of how fast the rate is per seconds by per survivor and how fast the regression is

ex. (using ticks) 2 tick rate per second of a survivor being on a gen, then 4, 6, etc

3 tick regression rate per second, then 6, 9, etc

something like that, it would help people when they see this to better visualize a scenario in their head and work out the math and give better feedback to this.

  • Baffles how some people here are thinking "I'm glad this is isn't being implanted into the game, because it only benefits the killers"

Like lmao are you dumb? Probably the same people who thought that the end game collapse was unfair because it favored the killer too much, when it was MEANT for them, you know? To STOP survivors/killers holding the game hostage and push out survivor at the end of the game? Same thing with this one, the start game collapse is meant for the killers, they even said it themselves...

  • And here we go, slowly and surly, they are gonna forget about ps4/xbox one and never properly optimize their game for those console and their responses are gonna be "Just buy the new console lmao"

  • Of course, this post gets edited by some mod and gets put into the suggestion and feedback, when really, this post is just a general statement. BHVR this post in not a suggestion at all, its more like fix your mistake because you can't seem to get POV right for a killer that is TALLER THAN SURVIVORS.

  • With this game being asymmetrical with this type of community and BHVR not doing anything to sort out the community? No, it never will.

  • Im not even surprised by this. Classic bhvr messing up on even the most simplest things

  • The only problem here was a wrong choosing of a developer team to set behind a game.

And of course, how divided the community is, which tears this games and its ideas even more.

  • See. This is where the problems lies, when they said they are getting rid of thanas healing and in trade for more slow down, like someone already said, we expected more than 1% but no greater than 3%

And then the other problem is that now, thana can't stand on its own, using thana without any other slowdown perks now its just a wasted slot.

BHVR even said it themselves that they don't want to make slowdown perks too strong, to the point where having two slowdown perks, would being back forever freddy or another situation.

It makes sense if you combine two perks to make them work together, like thana/sloppy, ruin/undying etc to make them stronger when actively being used correctly, but when it comes to having to combine x perk with another or more, because said x perk is so weak that bringing it alone will just be a wasted, is not okay.

  • They would do this, but remember what BHVR said long ago

"We follow the lore for our game"

  • So first you defend using stretched res and now you want op flashlights back? Whats next? You want two pallet spawns back?

  • @CashelP14 said:

Gonna be honest mate this was extremely tough to read. You should fix the layout using stuff like bullet points or something to create different sections.

    Maybe something like:

    After Unhook

    • Hi

    While In Chase

    • Hi

This would make it a lot easier to read and follow mate.

From what I read I could imagine you can still abuse this DS but forcing chase with the killer and it's still very strong at end game. 10m also isn't that far of a distance. Any Deathslinger or Huntress can stay just outside that range to keep the perk deactivated.

Here is my idea for changing DS.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/193633/an-idea-to-change-ds#latest

Ill probably clean up the layout later on, but yes, you are right that it could be abused by survivors forcing the killer to go into a chance in with them, but this is something you have to remeber.

Survivors only have 18 seconds to get to the killer who might be too far away and even then, the killer might just end up ignoring them by not facing them at all.

If survivors do this, they risk wasting a portion of the perks power and a safe unhook for the teammate. They run the bigger risk by being still injured and get sluged and left on the ground and then they have to get hooked again to get the perk working.

Yes, they could heal and then force the killer into a chase, but remeber, healing takes time, especially if the killer has sloppy butcher and depending where the killer is, there may be no time at all to even force a chase

Though I will agree on increasing the 10m to a higher radius, but its also a reason why I also put in that DS will not only activate if the survivor gets into a chase, but also activate if they get hit regardless, meaning if a huntress or deathslinger tries to snip the survivor that just got of the hook and gets hit, that will activate DS

  • This is the only bump im gonna do. This might be the only solution to make DS and actual anti tunnel perk, I did my best to make it fair as possible for both survivors and killers without trying to make this perk a safe haven for survivors or a free ticket for killer to go after the same survivor.

  • @MrsPiggyIsSoSneaky said:

After x survivor gets unhooked, DS has a 18/18/18 second grace period to activate, if the killer, during the 18 second grace period, chases/hits x survivor, DS will activate

DS will remain active as long as x survivor is in chase.

If at any point the killer leaves the survivor and gets out of chase, DS will deactivated within 8/10/12 seconds

If the survivor gets back into chase or gets hit before the perk deactivates, it will stay active until out of chase to deactivate within the given grace period or downed and pick up by the killer

If the killer is within 10m of x survivor and forces them to not be in a chase via no terror radius or walking backwards and the grace period runs out, the perk will instead remain active until the killer is not within 10m of x survivor and the grace period time will rest for deactivation of the perk

If still in chase then gets downed and the killer does not pick you up, DS will instead deactivated within 15 second grace period if the killer is 15m away from you, DS remains active if the killer is within the 15m radius and upon the killer re-entering the 15m radius before the grace period ends and leave the 15m radius, the timer resets.

DS will automatically stun the killer when on the shoulder of the killer

DS stuns the killer for 7 seconds

DS can be reused until DS has successfully stun the killer

The way this version of DS is design is so that there isn't too little time for the perk to activate or too much time for the survivor to stay safer then needed.

Because the time for the perk is not too little, this discourages the killers just waiting out the time and then head to the survivor as 18 seconds will wasted the killers time if waited out and will give the survivor enough time to be somewhere else and heal

Because the time for the perk to activate is not too long, it won't give the survivor the freedom to do whatever they want and will instead encourage them to heal instead before time runs out on the safety of the perk

Because the perk does not immediately deactivate upon getting out of chase, this discourages killers from chasing survivors while facing the other way and as well discourages stealth killers from abusing their no terror radius power or some form of addon or perk that gives killers zero terror radius, as it waste the killers time and the perk will not deactivate if the killer is within 10m of x survivor once the grace period time runs out

This will also discourage killers from waiting out the timer when slugging a survivor as not only do they have to be 15m away from the survivor, but as well wait 15 seconds and even if they wait it out, they are 15m away from the survivor. So, a killer slugging, walking out of the 15m radius, waits 15 seconds, then has to walk 15m to the survivor, pick up, find a hook, then hook the survivor waste a TON of time for the killer. And of course, if the killer stays within the 15m radius and the survivor gets back up, DS will stay active until said conditions are met to deactivate the perk

While it is a one time use ON THE KILLER, survivors don't have to worry about missing the skill check as now it will do it automatically for them

And because this version of DS gives SO MANY reason not to tunnel the survivor that got unhooked because it already gives plenty of penalty to the killer if they try to wait it out and because with the way this DS works, killers don't have to worry so much on who still has it and can chase another survivor, hook that survivor and if they chase the previous survivor without knowing that they are, they do not have to worry about being hit with DS because instead of tunneling, they committed to chase another survivor or not to tunnel at all.

And so for that reason, the stun penalty has been increase from 5 to 7 seconds

this I made, might be the only good solution to to changing DS to ACTUALLY making it close to a true anti tunnel perk

Numbers are just numbers, and for DS which is and has been always a badly design perk for how this game works, can't simply be balanced by changing the numbers, that's why its been said time from time, but devs never listen, DS needs a full rework because everything they done so far to DS made it further away from actually from being an anti tunnel perk and more and more of a 2nd chance/clutch perk.

My idea may prove to be the best solution to DS, but knowing how probably 70-80% of dbd's player base is survivors, this will get shutdown by survivor mains or shadowed by BHVR

  • And of course, no other or the same Devs are responding because they know how much they are in the wrong, but slowly n surely, they are coming up with another bs statement or reason

Or they will simply just lock this thread and say later on "We found no criticism for DS"

  • @Almo said:

Pop's duration is being reduced because we found you could spend too much time doing other things and still have it available.

And what about DS? What? Survivors DON'T spend too much time doing anything they want without having to worry about being tunneled?

A survivor could get unhooked, get healed, do half a gen, get chased, downed, picked up and still be able to use DS, oh and might I remind you that no mither and unbreakable are a thing? So when a survivor has ds and unbreakable/no mither, its a lose-lose situation for killer

Depending on the numbers, new Thana could be fantastic. Especially on Legion. Making it punish the survivors even more for not healing when I can get that health state off them almost for free is good in my book.

Legion might be the only killer who could make new thana useful, yes more penalty on action speed but then you have to remeber how fast survivors can heal with their perks and items with no heal slow down.

    @Science_Guy said:

    RIP???

Thana is getting buffed outside of slowing down healing. Sloppy Butcher exists.

And you seriously ever need 46 seconds to use PGTW?

    Quit whining.

Clearly you skimed over my thread and only read what you wanted to read as I clearly mentioned about sloppy butcher.

  • and then we have the unnecessary compound 21 nerf, uh no killer has too much information too op

I completely misunderstood your suggestion. I love this idea, but maintain it'd be overly complicated.

All is fine, there is a lot to take in, and people might misread something or get the wrong message, but all is good.

But you are right that this is something big, it would take a lot of effort, but we need something new for survivors since the only thrill we get when playing survivors is just being in a chase. I want it so that survivors don't just worry about being chased and being brain dead on Generators. Same with killer, expect I want killer to be more strategic on how they damage and reduce survivors gen progress and survivability and not just bring in PGTW and be like "Okay, hook, goes to this gen and boom"

Generally, I want both survivors and killer to think more strategic on the Generators and how they go about it.

  • @28_stabs said:

They have so many broken things that I doubt they will touch what still works. :^)

I mean, even when they try not to, they still end up breaking something else that they didn't touch at all. But Generators working as intended? yes. But balance wise and gameplay wise? not so much

  • @Orion said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1637183#Comment_1637183

Nah, its better to put it here, more exposure.

Only to people who have no say in what happens, though. If you want the devs to be exposed to your idea, you should post it in the proper place.

Anyway, this seems overly complicated not just from a coding standpoint, but also a player standpoint. I don't want to have to memorize which sides of the generator are "better" for repairs just so I can optimize my repair speed. This also seems like it'd make gen rush worse.

No sides of the Generator have better repair speeds, all is same. As for the gen rush problem that you see, you will have to explain that to me, to see what I can change.

  • @Pior_Morte said:

Great idea, but devs won't implement because it's too much coding

Im pretty sure, making a new killer with 3 new perks as well with 3 new survivor perks, adding new music, new animations, maps and changing the theme of the lobby, new chase music AND skin for a new chapter takes a lot more coding then this.

if this is too much coding for them, then.....all I can say is laziness

  • @Chunkyboi said:

I get what you were going for here but i think first of all that this belongs in suggestions and second of all that that gen regression should just be higher, they dont need to change how gens work

Nah, its better to put it here, more exposure.

And also, just making regression higher won't do any god, while it make be better for killer, it won't be better for survivors, and even worse if perks like PGTW, surge and ruin are into play, yes gen speed are a bit too fast since....forever but making the regression faster is not the simple solution and definitely not the best solution. They need to change how gens work, like im pretty sure if you've been here long enough that playing survivor is getting really boring and survivor mains are getting tired and board of just holding M1 or R2 for console players.

  • When ever I see someone with TTV I always love to tunnel, camp and mori them, its so fun

They deserve it, like come on, if you are gonna put TTV in your name to gain attention(Because your too lazy to work hard for sub/views) then your gonna get attention all right, but not the nice kind. And like someone else said, your basically inviting them to stream snipe you.

  • BHVR still being BHVR I see...

  • The problem is.........

he is addon dependent, because his base power is #########.

The reason I noticed people were bumping the thread wasn't because they were trying to inflate it, though some might've. The ones I saw were concerned players who've been stuck with this abysmal FPS for years. BHVR promised them improved frames and it didn't happen. At the end of the day, this is an extremely relevant topic.

I understand if you wanted to stop the bumps, but the better thing to do would have been to pin the thread since it's a popular discussion that more then deserves a proper update. There wouldn't have been any need to bump the thread if the issue was addressed in the first place but if you guys didn't have an immediate answer then it would have been a better move to keep it at the top. Not only does this show the community that their issue is a priority and that you believe it deserves attention, it helps ensure a dev would see it.

I'm sorry, but closing that thread and warning not to make others was not a good decision.

100% on what you said. I don't know why BHVR keeps questioning why the console community is acting the way we are acting, when, they are the sole reason why we are acting like this.

  • lets just hope the graphics don't destroy our consoles lol

  • @Mandy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1591545#Comment_1591545

First of all - thread bumping is always going to get deleted and can get threads closed, I also didn't need to give a warning I could have just instantly closed the thread. I chose to make a warning on it that then went unheeded. We delete comments that are off topic and there were an absolute load on that thread, some of which are still there due to the quantity of them with people bumping the thread to try to get it to 1k - hardly conducive of a constructive thread! There were warnings given out by myself and other moderators to people on that thread as well due to the comments made towards the Developers which broke our forum rules.

"ghostly deleting comments" - that can apply to all deletions as we don't have the time to dm everyone with regards to what was deleted and we respect our users to understand that if their comment has been deleted it's for good reason meaning that it's either completely off topic or breaking our rules.

I am not trying to lecture you on anything, it was advice more than anything. You want to be listened to about the issues that you face but then go about it in an attacking non constructive manner which you've done here, that's not going to get your issue listened to, but get posts closed...again! We don't need to give a warning about closing a thread, that's a decision we make, I chose to give everyone on that thread a warning with regards to it, on the hope that it would not need to be closed.

With regards to what you believe about the Developer team, nothing I say is going to change your mind. I happen to know how much the team listen and how much feedback is gone through - I have never lied, and I really take offence to that in your post. I and the other moderators of this forum give up a lot of our time to help in any way that we can and to turn around and say that we are lying about something is incredibly rude and flat out incorrect.

So no nothing I have done has mislead you in any way and is certainly not hypocritical.

Okay but here's the problem. I never talked about or brought up the fact that bumping should not be a thing that comes with consequences. What I was talking about is how when you gave the warning, it only took one more guy to do it for you just to close the thread, after one more guy did it. Also do you realize and understand how bad you're making yourself look by saying "I also didn't need to give a warning I could have just instantly closed the thread"? Do you realize how badly it just looks like in general for game forms? Does that not sound like in the slightest to you like a dictator?

Yes there might have been a quite a few pages with people just bumping up the thread, but do you ever take in to consideration to question why? Or do you just blindly skim through it and think to yourself "this is giving me enough reason to close the thread"? No? Heres why: When that thread was created, it was only after a couple of pages is when a dev or a moderator from the team finally decided to comment on it, but didn't give us a real answer or information that we wanted. Then after a month later, after so many pages, not once after those 2 responses, did we get another response updating on our problem. I even gave an example like this on my previous reply to you, stating that when a community showcases a problem within the developer's game, but the developers ignore it or don't give real information on for so long, the community doesn't know what else to do other than just to do whatever they can to make said problem that they're talking about, and one of those tactics is to keep said thread or comment bump up.

And also no, you were quite literally the only moderator on that thread to give the warning.

Regarding to your statement on about what I said about "ghostly deleting comments" I don't know why you're thinking that I said that you need to dm every person that you deleted their comment, what I actually was saying is that, you didn't put information into your warning that you have previously deleted comments there were against the rules, and that cause a lot of conflicting problems.

If it was just an advice more than anything, then it still stands to what I said earlier, our advice to your team and fixing your game.

I'm not sure if you have realized this, but more than half of this thread is uncivil, and if you didn't know this either, the previous thread was completely civil. And here you are wondering why we are not civil anymore including me, you're really wondering why we aren't civil anymore? That's because everybody in that previous thread was on their last bit of string, a very thin string of patience, trying all of our best to be friendly as we can, but after what you've done, what reason is there now to still continue to be civil about this? And it's not a simple answer, it really isn't.

"We don't need to give a warning about closing a thread, that's a decision we make" Again that sounds like a very dictator thing to do. Yes you choose to give that warning with regards to it but with a very broad regards to it that made that warning portrayed in a very different way.

If you happen to know how much your team listens and how much your team receives information, then why don't you share that with us? Why don't you share that information with us? Or is that just another lie? And also I never did specifically target you as a liar, I said in general that behavior is a liar, and that is not incorrect if the point still stands of behavior telling us that we would get a console optimization by the end of 2018, but we were never given that and not even 2 years later after that.

You and just behavior in general, which is including you, has mislead/lied to us on a lot of things, even now.

So I guess my last question is: What reason is their to be civil about after what you've done?

You went off on mandy you are definitely not getting a response.

mandy barely responds to criticism in general, especially when mandy is being corrected, it wouldn't have matter if I did go off or not. I went off not because my emotions were attacked or something, but because of how much wrong-doing mandy was....doing. Like have you seen how mandy handles things on the forums here?

We are here to get our voices heard about the FPS on console because of how we were lied to and not getting any true answers for almost 2 years and here is mandy, coming to make us quite.

Like how do you just ghostly delete 19 comments, then give the warning without even mentioning that you deleted 19 comments beforehand and then close a thread just because ONE more guy did it? And mandy clearly saw how the whole console community were almost done or is done with BHVR because of how they handle with their game on console for the past two years now. That's why I warned mandy that, closing this thread would be the worst mistake, I didn't say "your not allowed to close this or this will happen".

But now looks what's happening. Everything was so civil until mandy decided to close the thread, so.....what's the point of being civil now?

  • but if you really think about it...........it all comes down to BHVR, BHVR was the start of it

  • @FabsRinas said:

If we had an official answer from BHVR regarding this issue, this would be WAY LESS INFURIATING.

Pat and Mandy said they passed it to the team, okay, then what's their opinion on the subject? That's all we want, just a light coming from them, but we're still in the dark regarding this.

I even warned Mandytalk about this, but oh well I guess.

  • might I remind everyone that they increased the tick rate, but I don't that will fix the fps problems on console, maybe a little, but we will see.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/187746/the-way-console-players-are-treated-is-insane

I totally understand your frustration, I really do and the thread was closed not because of the genuine comments that were on it. The thread was closed because of the Developer bashing that was happening on it, posts which we deleted as well as the irrelevant bumps which added nothing to the thread and were basically spam at that point. Then even after a warning was put on that thread it continued and people got warned for their comments and the thread was closed. Nobody is trying to censor Console Players. Check out my posts on this very forum where I've closed threads down which were set up to pit Console against PC - it's not something I approve of and it's not something BHVR approves of. We promote inclusivity totally.

The fact of the matter is, I can't answer the questions about optimisation all I can do is to say again it is something that we've brought to the teams attention - but I do not have any further word on it than that.

It's quite obvious that you don't understand our flusteration as console players. And now you're trying to make it seem like everything is our fault because we didn't follow a warning that was given or should I say not given hours before hand.

You decided to give that warning hours after you deleted all the comments without us knowing, and so when you gave that warning, nobody knew anything about it and so when you get that 1st warning, we all thought that that was our 1st warning. But no apparently that was our final warning, after one more guy, who didn't see the warning, did a bump and you decide to close the thread just for one guy and jokingly called it "causing drama". And then after that you try to dig yourself out of a hole of a mistake that you made by giving another reason because it was bashing against the developers which we were not doing at all, more or so it was criticism but you guys can't handle that.

I deleted more than 19 comments in the space of 20 minutes, and put a warning that any more would cause the thread to be closed. And within 10 minutes I ended up having to hand out a warning and delete bumps! I don't close threads lightly on this forum, but when people are unable to follow the rules of the forum and wilfully ignore what has been said, they leave myself and the other moderators with no choice.

Sorry, but my point is true. There are pages of bumps on that thread - most of them irrelevant posts about getting the thread to 1k etc

What people don't realise that quality over quantity is a big thing, and it's not about visibility as we had already explained in the thread that we'd brought the matter to the teams attention.

In a working environment do you want to read pages of bumps which amounts to spam, as well as the posts that offered nothing constructive to a thread but were just there to insult/bash the developers - or would you rather read a thread that contained the relevant information that you needed to do your job?

I won't discuss this further. I don't have the information that you seek with regards to an answer - I'm sorry, if I did have an answer that I could convey I would.

Your point doesn't stand true, just because you are a moderator on his form, doesn't mean everything you say is automatically true.

Why can't you understand that you ghostly deleted 19 comments without telling us that you did that in your warning? Why didn't you put a warning 1st then tell us that you are going to delete some of the comments that were against forum rules? Why did you decide to ghostly delete 19 comments and then put the warning afterwards?

And it's kind of funny that you're trying to tell us if we wanted a forum that was quantity over quality, when we can say the exact same thing about your game. When a community sees that a developer team is not listening to the community of what is needed in the game, that's gonna be there resort, because they see that the developers are not listening and they don't know what else to do. And now you're trying to lecture us to not do this even though we as a community for your game for the console players, have been talking about this problem since 2018? And all we have ever gotten in the past 2 years was "we have no information on this" or "we share this among the team" lie?

So to summarize all of this, you gave a warning after you ghostly deleted 19 comments, and even afterwards you didn't even say in your warning that you deleted 19 comments and so we were unaware that you even did that and so your warning made it sound like it was our 1st warning. And then you try to come up with another reason, and now here you are trying to lecture us on something that can be said the same thing back to you and your team, as well as your game. You see how everything you done so far is misleading and ironic or hypocritical?

Wait, y'all are still getting frame drops from Sloppy Butcher?

Yep. Sloppy Butcher, exposed status effects, gens finishing, survivors getting hooked, survivors searching chests, survivors cleansing totems....

Yup, basically ANYTHING that has to do with VFX drops the frame rate.

Dunno, but when mods issue multiple warnings and you don't heed them, whose fault is it that a thread gets locked or deleted?

MandyTalk sent out only ONE warning, and then someone else who didn't see the warning did a bump and MandyTalk took the chance(probably watching the thread every minute after that warning, to wait for someone to do it), being super sensitive after ONE guy put one more bump and called it "Causing drama" which is a joke.

  • dbd is communiest.JPG

bro they just merged my thread with yours, wth? they really don't want their discussion flooded with console optimization threads because it would give them a bad rep.

but yeah console needs to be heard!

and now I wait for my comment to me edited by """"me"""" (Taking a screenshot of my reply right after this so when they do edit my reply, ill have a laugh)

  • You guys know what to do, talk about the problems of the FPS on console

this is a new one, because my other one was being sink.

    my few problems are

    • fps dropping when pallets breaks
    • fps drops when VFX kicks in for bloodlust
    • fps drops when hitting a survivor (or game freezes for like .5 seconds)

    etc etc

oh and my console ps4 scream like no other when running dbd, on the main menu lulz

  • @Ryuzaki said:

    BHVR are actually censoring us?

Yup, they are really trying there their best to keep us quite. Bet after this, it still won't go up the first page. FPS on console NEEDS TO BE HEARD

  • Test test, fps on console bad, bhvr fix plz

Anyways, another problems I encountered with dbd is that it likes to make my ps4 scream like no other lol

  • Just a warning to you OP, be careful, they started to sink my thread to make sure it doesn't get back up.

They are actually trying to silence us.

  • I remember how spirit had FPS problems when you used her power and then coming out of it was worse

You should never expect the same quality/performance as PC. They are just more powerful and efficient at what they do in every circumstance. Thing about consoles is they cannot be upgraded so over the years they just arent strong enough for a lot of newer games. I'm sure the devs have done what they can to get the best performance but at the end of the day theres a limitation. You get what you pay for ig. Invest in a PC if you can. definitely worth it.

    Oh they done their best....lazily.

Have you seen battlefield 4, 5? Modern Warfare 2019? Apex legends? Modern warfare 2 campaign remastered? Final fantasy remake!? All high quality games that run WAY better then Dbd does, and the "they done their best" is really laughable, oh man yeah, they really did their best by downgrading the graphics, that must have been so hard for them.

If anything BHVR is limiting themselves, I payed for ps4 to get quality games and system and it delivered, dbd doesn't for some odd reason.

So for dbd not having the best graphics, best visual effects etc would have such a hard time getting good frames when triple A games that require more work get better performance?

  • @MotherOfRaccoons said:

Why would you play in console to begin with? I'm not trying to get into the *waa all console players are bad* dogfight, but clearly PC-s are better in every way. Please everyone just get a PC.

Its not simple as "just get a pc" its like saying "just buy food if your starving"

Of course then comes the "then how did you afford a console?" Because PC nowadays are getting too expensive and I had enough money to buy a console? Because the current gen prices are dropping because of the next gen that is coming? Same with I just had enough money to buy pizza.

And most games are ment to be played on console, with a controller, especially fighting games.

Anyways OFF TOPIC *ahem* we won't stop until we get our answer, the FPS on console will not be ignored.

  • @Mandy said:

If you don't keep this thread on topic, it will be closed.

When we have information we will post it.

This is a joke right? Or is this a threat? To silence us? The past THREE pages have been on topic with the FPS on console and only two of the replies have been off topic and your making it sound like we've been of topic for like the past six pages.

"When we have informat-" No no......no...we are done with that, we are done with the "We will say something when we have the information" lies. BACK in 2018 you guys said console would be optimize by end of October or November which ever one JUST generally near end of 2018 and all you guys gave us was just downgraded graphics.

NOW we've waited for almost TWO years now with ZERO updates on console and the only thing we got was

"We haven't had any plans", something about issues and something else and "We shared this almong the team" lie. And here we are again, looping again, this time of what sounds like a threat to silence us. And if anything, closing this thread would be the biggest mistake that could be done, and that's not a threat by me or us, that is what it will be if you or someone else decides to close this thread.

Also what I said with this reply is on topic.
