I don't think it should be a reward as nobody else can see it unless you're streaming. At least badges and banners are visible to everyone in the match

I don't think the license holders would have allowed that. Its in the end kids show they would not want their iconic character to be helping killer to murder people.
Maybe not, but never say never as I don't think anyone seriously thought they'd actually make ultra instinct Shaggy a real thing being able to fight Jason Vorhees

Heresy survivors suffer from more difficult skill checks and missing one let's the generator lose more progress. They can also be send into the exile which - as I said before - a huge time saver. They need to find a shrine to get rid of it over time, which is additional slowdown for the killer. Survivors also don't lose Heresy when send into the exile or escape from it, which is nice. Infecting them with Heresy is also smoother since you do it passively with your M2. Also, you get into a power mode for sending survivors into the exile which is makes you more dangerous.
The killer from what we've saw has a high skill ceiling and we should rather wait and test her on our own before calling something weak or needs more. Back then people claimed Ghoul should down people with power since otherwise he is too weak - after release and still now a strong A tier killer.
I haven't seen/noticed the difficult skillchecks on heresy survivors so thanks for that info, I didn't actually know that occurred.
My feedback is strictly from watching how difficult it looks to use The Judgement and how easily avoidable Divine Light appears to be.
-
Chests and totems please. As a survivor it can be a battle against teammates for totem perks
-
Makes you wonder if they are just wanting to push the chapter out as fast as possible and forget about it after
-
Probably not a popular opinion but I think she just needs a buff. I don't want her to get a rework because then no doubt it'll take away variety

No, this would make the killer way too strong and put survivors in a horrible spot where saving punishes them but not also punishes them. Sure, exil survivors can escape on their own but praying is much quicker but still slowdown-bonus for the killer. You also need to keep in mind that survivors of different skill-level will face the Judgement and some of them might be not so good on escaping on their own and therefore need a bit of help. In addition, if the rescuer would get injured for helping their teammate, it would leave a bad taste and encourage them to not help and that would make SoloQ miserable against that killer (From my first impression, the killer has no advantage against SoloQ, which is good).
On the other hand, sending a survivor in the exil is already a bless for the killer since you save so much time without the annyoing and slow hook-progress - on top of it, you can also perform a mini-mori on a survivor with two hook-stages which is so quick. It also rewards the killer with a temporarely power-mode and information of other survivors.
Overall, sending survivors into the exile rewards the killer in such a strong but fair way that it does not need any other basekit buff, especially not such a big one like free injuries.
Putting off solo Q teammates from saving is a fair argument but the incentive is and will always be to make sure your team is still alive to help each other escape and of course bloodpoints.
Bad teammates will always be bad teammates but okay, let's say it is too off-putting if in an injury was the price, then there should be an alternative such as a debuff like a timed gen speed penalty to those who were exiled?
In the current state the Judgement certainly looks like it needs more reward for hits with Divine Light as seeing the aiming makes it a bit too easy to avoid. The speed of putting them into Exile isn't much of a reward if they've spend longer trying to get a hit than if they M1'd especially when survivors are saving time by saving everyone at once too
-
To all the downvoters - what would you have changed?
There needs to be more incentives to hook and use unique mechanics otherwise all we get is slugfest
-
@esarraf said:
Why should it? If I recall correctly exiled survivors can already escape on their own.
Because it would serve more of a purpose to send them to exile instead of just hooking. Can they? Then that's even more of a reason

i think it was confirmed to be coming this December
Also, it will not feature any new characters/legendary skins but only cosmetics for existing characters as ‚cosplays‘
Bit of a shame really. Would have been great to see a demon dog Scooby for the Houndmaster
-
Why stop there? 10 perks
-
It's easier to blind at a pallet than most other times in a match
-
I agree. She literally has a dog so definitely should get something to do with the Cats and Dogs collection and she's a pirate so very fitting of the Waterfront Massacre collection too…
-
Someone suggested before that he should have a weapon wheel to select different weapons (similar to how The Lich chooses spells). That seems fitting to his character
-
Hiding while watching a killer get Blast Mined is so hilarious and satisfying.
Getting a multi hit with Pyramid Heads Punishment of the Damned - such a sweet punchy sound
Outplaying someone I am normally below the skill level of.
-
I'm not too sure how I feel about Sprint Burst getting nerfed as I get the whole argument for it having free value, but at the same time I do think there is a minor but of skill to knowing when to 99 exhaustion. The real part of the problem is being able to sit on gens and then insta sprint burst but Mindbreaker is a nice little counter to that in my experience
-
I enjoy it regardless of the outcome as long as everyone plays in a somewhat sporting manner.
In my experience it's been a mixed bag of killer and teammate behaviour
-
Ah yes, so tailored to the survivor experience when killers are tunneling and slugging more than usual because they don't fear the slim chance of a Chaos Shuffle giving survivors certain perks to counter it
-
Not exactly tunneling but I just had a Twins playing on McDonald's WiFi so the camping and victor lunges were fun
-
It is 5mil but codes etc can send it over the cap
-
I've always preferred Lithe to Sprint Burst but Overcome is nice too (except against a 1 shot killer 😭)
-
Bring a map. I almost always do when I've got totem perks
-
Surely it'll be the poster boy Trapper if any killer origin movie but there's plenty of great lore for a lot of characters to work from
-
I hate that perks get reworked, I mean I get it as the game changes something becomes obsolete, unviable or too strong, but I wish it was only ever buffs or nerfs so that the players didn't need to relearn a truck load of perks or effects.

We haven't experienced it so, like you said. We don't know. She might be fine…She might not be. The added chase music doesn't help her case either.
The argument for her having troubles hearing during phasing could also be applied to Vs Spirit hearing the phasing so again, we really don't know until we try it. Doomposting is so common on here with little grounds for it
-
She'll be fine. We don't know anything until we've experienced it

Yeah I'm not even a massive fan but they at least put effort and thought into things.
I cannot think of an A24 movie I dislike but it's rare I'll be completely dissatisfied.
The real test will be how the Elden Ring movie turns out. A half decent DBD movie should be a cakewalk compared to something like that.
-
@cogsturning said:
Him being an unknown isn't my issue. The film's fate was decided just being a Blumhouse film. I'm sure their inexplicably large fanbase would diaagree but I'd I really wish A24 was doing it. Then it at least wouldn't be be a cheap, hollow piece of merchandisable trash.
A24 would have been perfect
-
I did not know this so thanks for the info
-
I too love being sneaky with Blast Mine, Red Herring
-
-
I've used Gh0starcardes and Paulie Esther's before and probably others but I cannot remember.
No negative for me, so why not.
-
I haven't played much killer because I'm normally survivor for the social aspect with my friend but most of the matches I've had during the event have been quite successful such as this time I played Nemesis against a SWF. Full gen protection build worked out well
-
Iri shards*
They just gave everyone 10mil BP before the event started. These days things are cheaper in the bloodwebs and you only need to prestige a character to unlock their perks for all characters unlike before when it would only make it available in a bloodweb
-
Killers can go through portals too by the way
-
Okay so the killers don't get as many benefits but lets not pretend the poison is useless. The slowdown on it is insane

Some were wondering about the last of us, im still confused about scary movie 6 featuring the game with a 1 sided collaberation with no content for the game, and them teasing that message to Rhea Ripley has my wrestling fan friend waiting to find out what that was even about.
Aside from that they mentioned a new livestream to go over changes to the game that havent been talked about yet like quality of life n stuff, no date just "during the summer" or something. Maybe more reveals then. And a new interview revealed they are working on more prestige rewards.
I think the Rhea Ripley thing is just because of her being a Terrifier fan
-
Didn't notice until I read this! Mine isn't showing either. Also problems keeping the game logged in

and Blast Mine can make the Wiretap last even longer :P
Only if you can hit them with the blast mine before repressed Alliance otherwise blast mine isn't going to be doing a lot
-
Repressed Alliance with Wiretap
-
I know it's already been mentioned a lot but Spine Chill was a decent perk and for killer I miss old Ruin
-
I've seen this on other maps too, not just Trickster's Delusion

I know it's cheesy but having fun. I always try to escape but my fun comes from how close I get to that and how much I contributed to other people's escapes, not just the act itself.
BP are neither here nor there. Regularly hit the cap, not a big BP investor for items/offerings.Great answer. I like to think I'm the same but in reality I do feel more victorious if I've made it through that gate
-
Just very slightly overall easier for a killer to win in current DBD as far as my own experience and taking into consideration gameplay I have seen from others but obviously there are a lot of contributing factors as to how each match could go.
-
My question has now been answered in an email
-
John Carpenters The Thing
-
For survivor, successfully getting at least one of my teammates out alongside me is a great result especially if I've had successful chase escapes.
For killer, sacrificing or killing a survivor or team that are above my normal skill level without having to play too dirty.

I love playing against him, I really don't like how much buffs/debuffs he has baked into for teleporting… feels overkill:
-Haste
-Exhaustion with addon
-Reload
-Scream
-Movement Tracking
-Killer Instinct
-Gen damage
-Pallet Break/wall break/Window block/Pallet deny
-Scream suppression immunity
-can track "footsteps" in locker
kind of feels like how Skully used to where she applied every debuff while gaining haste for little effort.
Otherwise chase against him feels fun when he isn't the Malboro using bad breath.Upvote for the FF reference
