5 million is the cap for the main pool of bloodpoints. There is two pools for bloodpoints in this game. The main pool is only filled by bloodpoints you gain from matches and this is the one that is capped on 5mil. The second pool is where all the bloodpoints you get from rewards, quests, codes, challenges, gifts and any other way you can gain them expect normal matches. The second pool has no cap. So you can have over 5mil bloodpoints because the second pool making it going over the 5mil total of both pools. When you use bloodpoints its always taken from the second pool first so you can earn bloodpoints from matches until the first pool hits the 5mil cap but if you after that want to be earning more bloodpoints from matches you need to spend bloodpoints until the total amount is under 5mil as the second pool has to be used totally until the the first pool starts to be used. So in short you will always gain bloodpoints from matches if the first pool is not on the 5mil cap even if you would have more than 5mil because of the second pool taking you over of it.
It would be nice to them to really make it show that you can see how much bloodpoints you have in both pools when you hover over the bloodpoints not just state the cap of the first.
