I don't think Silent Shadow is too bad but I'd think it'd be better if it were token based that you could press a button for to then consume a token enabling the small period of undetectable instead of activating instantly upon the hooking.
This way killers with lesser mobility would benefit from it more

I personally don't want to chat with randos and they sure as hell wouldn't want to hear me being a sore loser

I don't mind KI not having a counter, as it's an integral part of some killers powers. I just find the scream to be unnecessary noise personally (not sure what you mean by tell, do you mean for KI? It has the heartbeat sound). Survivor can turn screams off with CS, but you don't have that option as killer.
I mean that, from a survivors perspective, you have no idea if killer instinct has been triggered on you which seems really anti-friendly to new players (as if the game didn't already have a lot to digest). The scream is the only way you know and that's not always tied to KI.

It's a lot of BP but come on Behaviour... Iri shards please

You want something to help counter Omnipresent Evil?
Use Chem Trap and Bada Bada Boom.
His power forces him to either vault or break a downed pallet - which 100% trigger these perks if you have the foresight to set them up ahead of time.
Actually genius. I cannot believe I hadn't even considered this.

Having played both as Jason and against him, the only thing I'd change is getting rid of the scream. Makes him feel bloated. Killer instinct is already there.
I'd personally prefer killer instinct to go as opposed to the screaming as there's not really a counter or a tell without a scream

As said in the other thread. What ever this "dev" claims he is wrong screaming part of Jason's power is prevented by using Calm Spirit you can even test it yourself in the game if you so want. He is mistaking the killer instinct to the screaming part as that you can't block or is just simply wrong in their statement.
Kinda seems to me that they were never sure what his power should include and so a bunch of things tacked together with nobody really knowing how it's supposed to work
-
Seems dumb to me but whatever
-
Had a few matches against him yesterday. Lost every single one. Haven't played as him in a public match. Did pretty terrible on custom as I'm bad with ranged killers
-
I just saw this

No you should not ever scream when in lockers. Another one of these seems like we get locker screaming with every killer who comes with ability or perk that makes survivors scream. If you want report it on the betahub bug reports so it gets fixed.
Still are 100% sure you screamed as he gets killer instinct on survivors too so hiding in lockers will not prevent him from knowing you are there as that can't be blocked anyway and happens even if you don't scream.
That's exactly what I was thinking. I will report it.

It is all we are really asking for. I don't want BHVR to not update the voices for those who want new ones like you.
I just want BHVR to respect those of us who have been playing for a long time and are attached to the old sounds. I think it is a reasonable request for them to add a toggle so we can keep the characters we love as they are now. Especially given that many of us have put decent time and money into said characters.
Yeah, I don't think that's too much of an ask. I don't get why anyone would be unhappy if everyone is catering
-
I miss the spookiness but I don't miss not being able to see a damn thing
-
Sorry to hear about this accident @CountOfTheFog . I hope you are making a decent recovery
-
As long as there is a toggle option, everyone could be happy.
I'm personally looking forward to everyone having voice lines. Adds to the characters instead of just a skin
-
I would imagine it's only to focus attention on the more realistic visuals without gameplay features distracting attention on this particular showcase

Yeah and I may Quit DBD if they discontinue The Switch. Im not gonna put my time in another console just to keep playing. I spent 3 Years Getting my Unknown up To P100 and im not gonna spend 3 more years getting him back up there.
Also I highly doubt that they will. Because it might result in losing a great chunk in there player base.
But it will result in huge Delays in Updates on multiple platforms
That's what the cross progression is for
-
Nightmare (SC2 version) . He'd make a great skin for Pyramid Head although I know it wouldn't happen so a skin for The Knight will do
-
Lockers and window/pallet vaults need separate binding option. Bots are often extra killers
-
Extremely likely I'd say considering they've linked Jason to Greenville in DBD lore
-
The game is relatively balanced right now
-
Unknown looks great

Samsung QN90F. It has a gaming mode with a crosshair that you can move to different parts of the screen, as well as change the color and shape.
That's a really cool feature for a TV. I'll look into that when I upgrade

My TV has one of these built-in so would be crazy if someone got banned for a thing many have by default.
Really? What TV is this?

I love 2v8 as I feel like killer is so much more fun when playing with a teammate and being able to play survivor during queueing makes it worth it.
The only thing I would like to be able to do is queue for killer matches while being in a swf for survivor ones as more than 2 players (granted some friends may need to wait a little while for you to return from the k matches if their queues aren't synchronised)
-
Motaro for a killer
-
Accidentally voted wrong
-
It's definitely a balancing act I'm coming to realise. Spend too much time playing this game or other online (especially PVP) games, it tends to have a negative effect on me as a person in terms of mood and self control
-
@Xaerdy Back in the day, hooks didn't respawn so that would have been a legitimate gameplay tactic if you did this years ago
-
I had no idea fast actions alerted the killer and was pulled out of lockers without understanding how the killer knew I was in a locker 😂
I also had no idea you were supposed to wait for other survivors to unhook you, believing attempting self unhook was necessary
This was back in 2017

So, I decided to (re)claim the rewards on my BHVR account (even though I had already done so initially …) and sure enough, that unlocked the two shirts just fine.
As well as 2 million points. Which I'd already gotten before when I originally claimed the rewards 😬.
No idea why the original claim was 'forgotten'. Either way, I ain't complaining!Awesome, I just did this too so thanks for the info 👍🏼

Being so close to someone on hook but working on a gen with no progress instead going for save, leaving the hooked teammate to go into second phase inevitably because the killer ends up coming along chasing them further away.
On the complete other end of the spectrum, the whole team going for the saves leaving nobody touching gens.
Another scenario is 3 to 4 people working on the same gen instead of splitting to a different one - it's inefficient and very easy for killers to get multiple downs
-
Can work quite nicely when paired with Mad Grit and/or Agitation against a bold altruistic team or sabo squad

At least you don't have to wait half an hour to play as killer when only the regular mode is available.
Aye, unfortunately they cannot please everyone and for now, this reason alone is probably why it's a good thing the events are currently a set duration. A lot of people like 2v8 as it's more casual and enables larger friend groups to play together not forgetting the novelty of no longer being alone in the killer role.
-
Back in my day we only had 1 mode 👴🏼
-
Only when half of the survivors are dead otherwise that last gen will fly as fast as the first
-
My only issue with the zombies is how fast they respawn and if you are unlucky, they'll respawn in the same location you just destroyed them
-
@Xray said:
Hexes to be added. Of course they would need to be tuned for mode, but i imagine for killer you can choose one hex to pick from as well as the usual classes.
I think a Hex Class for killer would be amazing along will a Boon Class for survivor. The killer class should work like boons in the sense that they can be reapplied and a selection of different hexes are available to choose from
-
Scout no 1. Escapist 2nd but I have been trying a little Torchbearer for practice
-
I haven't had any major obvious cheaters during 2v8 yet but I have suspected some subtle speed hacking
-
I'd like to see better healing animations and accurate damage wounds first
-
If Alan Wake actually knew how to use his ability without messing up his own life he could do anything he wanted
-
The new Taurie outfit is cool, but I'm not spending real money on it
-
Locker vaccum annoys the hell out of me.
It would also make things like 'CJ tech' less viable
-
I'm surprised you had a couple of Maggie's but not Michonne.
Some of my mains are the lesser chosen characters here 😁
-
I've had successful flashlight saves (I'm usually terrible) but no luck with flashbangs
-
Seems a little buggy, I tried Torchbearer and it didn't count to any progress after I know I had been shining on the killers for a number of seconds
-
It's a mixed bag - some matches I've been absolutely destroyed, gens flying before any downs have even happened, all escaped etc. but also matches when the survivors are allergic to gens and end up with a 7 or 8k.
My survivor games unfortunately seem to be paired with more players that don't want to do gens unfortunately for me
-
The last killer bot I faced was Nemesis and it was lethal being able to hit whip attacks at the furthest possible distance
-
It's absolutely due to servers for the event. One of my matches most survivors had 200-300 ping while both killers had nearly 1000. Very unfun
