I'm not sure if somebody has already suggested this, but use repressed alliance! I've recently started to use this because basically every single killers plays ruin + undying. The generator doesn't regress while repressed alliance is being used, so if the killer comes over or if you have to get off the generator to help a teammate then use repressed alliance.

I get what you mean about console players being bad. I play on Xbox, and I used to play without crossplay and used to recognise the survivors every time I got into a lobby and they were always terrible players. One day my friend and I turned on crossplay, in hopes of finding better teammates. While I do get quicker queue times, (mostly) accurate ranking and mostly good teammates, I keep running into try-hard killers. It's painful.
Do you play on crossplay? And what platform do you play on?
-
It's terrible. I think it depends on how frequently you play killer I think. It's also to do with the poor mmr, if you get a 4k with brown rank survivors then the next game you'll get put with red rank survivors.
-
No, not enough people care to make the community nice, which is a shame.

Doesn't matter. As a killer since crossplay, i never made it out of yellow rank. Play maybe 2 games a day at most, usually survivor.
Tried killer was rank 17. Played as twins, first time since hot fix amd maybe 4th time total. Went against a rank 3, 5, 6, and 17. I managed to kill the one at my level. The other 3 just kept crouch spamming at every window and pallet.
Rank doesnt matter for matchmaking. Survivor que times are almost 5 minutes so they are getting pushed into any killer available.
Yeah, it all went a bit wrong when they added their stupid 'mmr system' which is just broken.
-
I thought the same! She looks like a porcelain doll lol
-
Here's the thing with BBQ... it's so easy to counter. If BBQ bothers you that much then just get in a locker, or hide in the killer's TR.

How was the huntress unfair or toxic? What the hell? Sounds like the best decision you can make in that scenario when you had two guys hooked.
There was 4 gens left. They'd had so many hooks and it took us so long to do the first gen so why did they need to sweat like that?

That's not toxic. Just killer doing the objective.
Yeah that's why I said unfair, not toxic. The original post was saying that the game isn't fun so I was agreeing with them.

sucks to be a Kate main like me now lol.
I understand that at the end of the day it's the player that's bad and the survivor they're playing doesn't have anything to do with it, but if I see a bad Kate then I'm not surprised lol.
-
People take this game too seriously and it's actually pathetic. If I play the game different to how someone expects me to then I get blamed for it. If this game isn't for you, then accept it. Maybe derank for easier games? I'm assuming by the level of toxicity you're receiving that you're a red rank player.
-
Yeah last night I had a few unfair killers. There was a huntress that had 2 people on hooks so camped in between them, then slugged the third person and camped their body and waited for me to come over. I also got camped by a bubba and a Pyramid Head.
-
This game loves Dwight too much, I bet they'll make another Christmas skin for Dwight before they make one for Feng :(
-
Kate Denson. I hate Kate, and the majority of people that play her seem quite bad. I can never trust a Kate to be a good teammate or to hold up a good chase. Of course I'm not saying that all Kate players are bad.
-
I love how they're so protective with bloodpoints for some reason. I wonder if they thought about giving 5,000 bloodpoints then thought that maybe it wasn't enough and had to up it to 10,000.

or the broken key could appear broken?
Yeah but sadly it would be difficult to see that, you know when a survivor is stood in a lobby,

Go for 8 to 10 gen grabs in a game (I play stealth killers), actually get 2 grabs; for the rest I'm just stuck there looking like I gave them a friendly shoulder pat while they run away completely uninjured. Gen grabs and hook grabs became absolute garbage once dedicated servers went live.
Lol that moment when the game freezes during a grab animation, I imagine there's a coin flip going on in the game, and it's deciding if you actually got the grab. Heads= you don't get the grab, tails= you do get the grab. And the coin is heads on both sides.

I made a post about this a while back, my motto is that key players are selfish players. I've been left to die so many times because of teammates that have brought a key into the match, camped around and have waited for teammates to do generators or for teammates to die and then to jumped through the hatch without even considering their teammates.
-
I think and I hope they're getting nerfed. They also reaaaaaaally need to change broken keys as they have a lot of potential but killers tunnel because they assume it's a purple or iridescent key.
-
I was trying to do an archive challenge to get a certain number of unhooks (can't remember the number) and I needed just one more unhook and had needed it for over a day, I was so frustrated. I went against a hag so I ran, crouched, unhooked a Claudette and she just ran over the traps so the hag teleported back and got me an unsafe so I didn't finish my challenge,
-
It's not just bubba players, there are plenty of killers who don't use their powers. Remember that a killer that doesn't use their power isn't a bad thing since they're only putting them-self at a disadvantage.
-
I give in with flashlights because by the time I get used to the new angle they just change it again
-
That possibly could've been a frame rate issue. I play on Xbox and experience so many frame drops, I can't play killers like huntress because my hatchets just go through survivors because of frame drops. Normally frame drops occur when you have a perk that affects your hit such as Franklin's Demise, Sloppy Butcher and Noed.
-
My favourite is Plague because I love her power (as gross as it is), but my favourite killer to play is Pig because I play the best as her.
-
It encourages tunnelling or unnecessary hook trading, meaning that people that quickly unhook like that are more likely to go down quite quick which puts the team at such a disadvantage
-
Once again another account with 1 post saying that they're stopping playing the game.
Ok, bye.
-
I stopped playing flashlights months ago. They always get changed and I don't have the effort to get used to them. I don't know why BHVR have a tendency to change stuff that doesn't need to be changed.
-
Yeah so many people camp as victor it's extremely annoying.
-
The idea of legendary cosmetics is ridiculous, they had to make more expensive cosmetics so they can earn more money. I'd buy these cosmetics if the game actually functioned.

To put Feng Min in as much pain as possible.
What did the bunny do? :(
-
To have fun most of all, but my side goals are prestiging all survivors (I don't play killer enough so don't want to prestige them). Then I set small goals like getting to a certain number of shards for a cosmetic or save bloodpoints for a killer.
-
Idk, remember it's not the characters that are toxic it's the players. I think most people have encountered every type of survivor that's toxic.

Everything really. Moonlight offerings. Brand New Parts. Mori on first down. Being able to grab survivors out of the hatch if they waited for you by it. No window blockers after 3 vaults. Infinites. Fast vaulting from a complete stop. Old Hillbilly and Nurse.
I mean I get why they changed it, but infinites taught killers that maybe there are times when you should break chase and go for other survivors, like ones on gens.
Also most of all I miss the point pip system. Used to be you'd pip for getting 10k bloodpoints in a match. Now it has so many bells an' whistles.
Keep it simple. You kind of know what you're getting into when you start a trial up nowadays. Should you though?
I also miss the Saboteur meta where you'd get all hooks broken except for the ones in the basement so the killers had to run Iron Grasp/Agitation and survivors had to make a choice. Do you sabo all of the hooks, or do you really want to be making basement saves all game?
Yeah I miss playing in a sabo squad and we'd 99 all the hooks 😂
-
And the amount of red rank survivors that waste and camp or the pallets or just instantly go down in 2 seconds
-
My favourites are the game, midwich and dead dawg saloon. My least favourites are Hawkins and Badham.
-
It's ridiculous, I'd rather wait a week or so for the release and have Victor be fixed rather than them release a killer with an unplayable power. It's funny too because dbd clarified that the release date can be 'subject to change' so I can't see why they don'y change it
-
The blendettes are evolving
-
Marry Jane because she seems like a genuinely great person to be with, kiss Felix and then kill Dwight because I really dislike him
-
Imagine how many bugs would occur and how wrong this would go
-
Those were limited codes that were only available during the Halloween event

I tend to recognise most people I play with when I play on Xbox so I know who (in my opinion) is good or bad. I will lobby dodge as survivor if I have teammates that I've previously played with and know are bad, and I'll lobby dodge as killer if I get into a lobby with strong survivors/ toxic survivors. I will also lobby dodge if there are loads of flashlights or a key and I don't have Franklin's Demise on a killer. I mostly lobby dodge as killer but queue times aren't too bad as killer so it doesn't bother me.
-
I agree, it's so frustrating having random teammates that waste all the pallets. The other day I went against a Legion, and of course when you're in the deep wound effect, your timer only goes down if you're stood still, and a Claudette on my team was just camping all the pallets and I could tell she was because her timer would start going down when she was camping the pallet. I took the killer from her before she threw all the pallets down.
-
Skill checks are the worst in Lery's, the flashing lights are horrible and the bright lights make it very difficult to hit
-
Quentin because I hate him so much and I play so badly as him and Ghostface because I really don't like his power of the feeling of him when playing him
-
It's helpful as survivor if it's a silent bell wraith so then they know that the wraith is there, but the snarling in general is quite pointless
-
At the moment everything seems to be really low effort, the Blight chapter is the poorest chapter they've released by far- there was no hype for it, and Blight is probably one of the least played killers. And now the new chapter, they're going to release another weak killer, and they're not even going to sort Victor's biggest counter (lockers) before the public release. And the rift is low effort too, the skins are terrible (apart from the Adam outfit),there is only lore for Nea and Billy and a bit for Blight, and for some reason there's a random challenge for Adam and his perks, but no lore for him.
-
Legion, I fail to have any fun playing as them and Leatherface because the sounds he makes when he's chainsaw sweeping gets very annoying after a while.
-
Is the game completely installed? You can't access the game if it's not completely installed
-
It seems ok but if you were to be put with a swf that all played object of obsession, and you had one survivor in the team playing Off The Record and they're the only one that goes for unhooks then all the survivors can just stare at the killer with object.
-
I'm a survivor main, I sometimes complete killer challenges but very rarely. I've completed every single rift because the XP you earn from a game gives you rift fragments. One rift fragment is 800xp so that's around 2 games and then 10 rift fragments is 1 tier, so 1 tier is 20 games. I play the game a lot so I normally complete the pass about a month before it ends
