Okay, well... I don't know what to tell you then. That's an opinion statement, not really much I can do about that.
It fits her character, she was a normal Japanese girl who went to school before she fell victim to the tragedy of her family and their Yamaoka bloodline, and eventually the supernatural whims of the entity itself. That's why those outfits are there, to remind of the character's unfortunate and tragic backstory, of a previous life now long lost.
You're the one perverting her character here, not the game.
I'm not though... minus her age there's no need for her lack of clothing or jiggle physics

All characters depicted in BHVR's Dead By Daylight are adults and / or young adults (at the very least age 18)
It's also mentioned in the very first paragraph of her lore that "She studied Education at Takamatsu, a private university" so Rin Yamoaka is implied to be potentially slightly older than that, being at College age. So cool your jets @Katie_met nothing sus going on here.
But still, she has outfits that make her appear like a school girl and I really dislike that.

That's the idea. SWF play to only entertain themselves. They're a nuisance for solo survivors too. This game isn't going to die because teenagers and twenty somethings can't make life miserable for other people.
Not all SWF's are toxic. I play in a swf and none of us go out of our way to upset the killer, and we don't escape every game. To assume that every swf is toxic is a very narrow assumption.
-
I've started taking breaks, and only really play around once a week. I hope I don't have a day like yours since that would probably turn my 1 week breaks to 1 month breaks lol.
-
No one would want to willingly play against a swf so therefore swf groups would never find a game.
-
Ah yes- 50% chance the killer will wait it out and it will be useless, and a 50% chance I'll be exhausted on the floor.
-
Just as long as they aren't on spirit...given her schoolgirl outfits she's definitely young, her base outfit is bad enough as it is, but when I found out that spirit had jiggle physics I was disgusted.
-
I understand if a weaker huntress player plays it. But if someone is clearly a huntress main or high skilled huntress then it's very unfair.
-
Honestly I'd put Cheryl at S tier. Repressed Alliance is fantastic since ruin is so common. Sould Guard is incredible if you have adrenaline and get up in the killer's face or if you play unbreakable. It's also good anti-slug because with ruin+undying being so common then you're guaranteed to be cursed by a hex totem most of the time so you don't have to suffer with being slugged because it has unlimited usage. Blood pact is the weaker one of the perks but still has a lot of potential both in solo queue and in a swf. It's good in a swf because you can stay near your friend to get the haste, and it's good in solo queue because it shows you where someone is so you can see if they're in a chase and if you're in a chase then you can avoid that survivor if they're on a generator.
-
I think the teachable perks should be at lower levels for the original survivors to make it easier for newer killers and survivors to acquire perks. I agree with the login bonuses but they should be for the first 5 days that you play, rather than having to log in every day.
-
Do you know I agree with you. I rarely play this game, so maybe it might've been because I hadn't played in a while but I played it a day ago and gens were very quick and I was getting quite a lot of escapes. I also watch Tru3Ta1ent and he's been making lots of videos where the generators have been going quite quickly BUT he has been playing without gen defence perks.
-
I think it adds to the very limited realistic aspects of this game. Realistically if you've been injured badly you're not going to be silent. But honestly sounds have been bugged for so long so sometimes you just get iron will for free lol.
-
I'm a pig main, but I rarely play killer (and I'm currently taking a big break from dbd). What I've found with Pig is that she's either ruthless or useless. Some games are brilliant, with huge amounts of pressure via traps and ruin + surveillance, but other games if I have a rough start then the game will go to rubbish and everyone will escape. No in-between.
So I'd say she's mid tier solely because of those strong games.
-
In my opinion, Bubba, Oni and Billy games aren't fun. A bad Hillbilly and a bad Oni is funny but when I think of these killers I think of camping/tunelling for Bubba, and then for Oni and Billy just spending half my game on the floor, occasionally screaming from infectious fright.
-
I've pretty much stopped playing this game. I watch YouTube videos of dbd and post here on the forums but I just can not play this game without encountering a bug and it's painful. If they didn't release the next chapter as expected and dedicated a chapter to really fixing bugs and improving the game quality then I might start playing again.
The toxicity on this game + bugs just makes the game hard to enjoy.
-
I agree with The Twins. The devs say that Victor isn't a baby but why is he designed like one. I get that so he can connect to Charlotte's body but they didn't have to make him high pitched like a child.

I had a Dwight item tech me out of a really good medkit and I refused to get him off hook the entire game because i was so salty.
Farming without BT is debatably scummy, but it's only ok if the teammate is willing to take a protection hit and/or pull killer aggro when they do it. Or it is end game. If we hit that late into the game, i dont mind dying. I just like to play out the full match.
I mean not unhooking the Dwight is understandable imo lol
And hook trading without bt is so confusing I don't get why people do it

Hillbilly vs Bubba
And then as a joke Hag vs Huntress lol

Don't farm me unless you have BT.
Don't body block me/sandbag me.
Don't point me out if I am in a locker.
Don't lead the killer to me and keep running to me in an attempt to get him on me and off you.
Don't randomly #########. Have a reason that's obvious to the other survivors (even if it's a questionable reason like loading into a game and seeing its a Freddy/Spirit).
Don't item tech me and then not give the item back. (Goes for grabbing stuff behind the chests too).
Don't let me see you waste a god pallet. If you are in a healthy state, take a hit to preserve shake pallet.
Item teching is actually so scummy. I just refuse to heal people that do that. And people that farm without bt how can they just not care about unsafe hook rescues lol

You're playing the game wrong.
Honestly this community is so toxic I can literally spawn in and someone will be like 'NO WHY DID YOU DO THAT YOU SHOULD UNINSTALL RN'
-
I see suggestions for this a lot, and I really like the idea because I don't think toxic people deserve to play the game. But of course this feature would be abused a lot which is a shame.
-
For survivor I'd remove dead hard because the amount of times that the perk doesn't work and it's also annoying to play against. I've also encountered many people that dc because their dead hard didn't work...
For killer I'd remove blood warden. People say to remove noed but out of end game perks I think blood warden is the absolute worst. Noed can be countered, blood warden can't. I know that you can just not open the gate but solo queue survivors are unreliable af and tend to always open the gate.
-
At the end of a game that didn't go so well (either as killer or survivor) and just seeing a notification on Xbox and seeing that someone has messaged me. Just makes me think 'what have I done now?'
-
This applies for both killer and survivor...
I have 2000 hours on this game. It's not your place to tell me that I'm playing the game 'wrong'.
-
Honestly people should only attempt to kobe if it's needed, such as everyone being slugged. If someone has come all the way for an unhook and then someone kobes in their face it's a waste of time.
-
People say the game is survivor sided... all I'm gonna say is that a strong killer is better than a strong survivor.
-
I use it to avoid being jumpscared. If it got nerfed or changed then I'd probably stop playing survivor.

The whole point of teabagging is to anger the killer. If you guys keep being tilted, people are going to keep doing it.

I play on console and 99% of my teammates will NOT ever play injured under any circumstance. Self Care is extremely common in red ranks. Most teammates are happy to let you get tunneled out of the game without even being hit once. Happens more than you'd think. That being said, I'd literally rather die than run Self Care. I have a few characters that are fully prestiged but I refuse to ever unlock Self Care on principle.
Heyyy we've spoken a few times on the forums before and I think we share very similar views about the game lol.
The amount of times I get left to die on hook because people choose to self care rather than help temmates is actually sickening.
-
I'm just wondering why she had 3 ways of healing herself 😂 who's so insecure about being injured that they need a medkit, an instaheal and adrenaline lmaooo
-
Sounds have been bugged for months, it's unbelievable that they can't even get such a basic feature to work. Survivors don't make sounds on the floor too.
I remember playing swf with one of my friends and commenting on them playing iron will because they weren't making any sounds and they said that they weren't playing iron will, so I couldn't help but laugh.
Sound is also bugged for the new survivor as she doesn't scream, it's like she has permanent calm spirit. Idk if they fixed this in the update though.
-
One thing with this game is that everyone interprets toxicity in different ways. While you don't find flashlight saves toxic, there will be players out there who see it as toxic.
-
So do you mean more emblems or bloodpoints? Either way, given how unbelievably toxic this community is, I know for a fact there will be killers that play extremely toxic to push survivors to dc in order to gain bloodpoints/emblems.
This is a good idea, it's just a shame that we have to consider how certain players would use this.
-
I've seen this suggested plenty of times, but like you said, the community is toxic, so if there was an 'avoid player' option, then people would use it to avoid killers who are better than them, in an attempt to play with weaker killers.
And you might want to remove those people's names as you can get banned from the forums for calling out other players.

I miss old Autohaven too. They were the funnest, most balanced (imo) maps in the game.
Yeah Autohaven was great. I don't think anyone ever complained if they saw an Autohaven offering. The only issues with them were Azarov's Resting Place because of the 3 gen situation and Blood Lodge had strong loops but apart from those, Autohaven was so balanced. Now they are just deadzones.

They're community created outfits
The grind will be painful but the outfit is worth it

I think farming for no reason is very annoying. If they're farming for a difficult achievement like the nurse grab achievement then I don't mind helping but then I'll just rush gens and leave. If there are dc's or suicides then a nice killer is appreciated. But if the killer is farming and it's not for an achievement or because there have been rage quits then I'll just rush gens and leave.

Yeah I had friends like this before they all quit because of match making. We'd go into a KYF and one of them would just throw every single pallet and I was like, wait do yo really play like this? The stun the killer four times challenge for me will only get done if a killer is farming. I don't stun the killer four times in 40 games.
I was a terrible survivor during the first (or was it second?) rift pass so I camped pallets for that challenge. The challenge during this pass I think it was to get 3 stuns? It was painful and took me so long to do but I took the killer on a map tour the whole game and when looping him he just walked into every pallet.
But I protect pallets so much and when I see a survivor camping a pallet I want to scream at them.
-
Nurse lolll I want to see her put up a fight with those skinny arms. Also her blink could be a power, like with Mileena's teleportation in MK10
-
Undying can be countered. Do bones. If you can't find totems then used repressed alliance to prevent regression. The good thing about strong killer perks is that the majority of them are hex totems and therefore can be removed from the trial.
-
Use spine chill, if he's standing still or moving slowly then hes's stalking, so hide behind something in the environment.
-
The issue with bad players is that they don't realise they're bad players :/ they don't see an issue with wasting time, camping pallets and wasting pallets. When survivors waste pallets they actually hold up long chases so they don't see an issue. Of course players like myself that actually loop properly rather than throw down all the pallets, can't loop the killer because every pallet is gone, but the player that wasted the pallets probably assumes they're god tier because they held up a long chase.
-
Maybe use those 5 minutes to sort your power?

I knew this just from looking at the addons, toy sword is basically rat liver for demo.
Like of course you would run something that has a constant good effect over a unreliable one.
This is a random question, I don't have demo, so is rat liver actually good? I always see demos running it lol
-
I purposely get crows on my head if the killer is slugging for the 4k. When someone has crows on their head it's so annoying, so when I get crows I like to make them regret slugging, and distract them from finding the fourth survivor.
-
Kindred should be used if you find yourself not being unhooked often. Maybe use Windows of Opportunity to know whether your teammates have used pallets. Bond is good too if you want healing. Iron Will if you're often left injured. Deliverance if you're never hooked first and never unhooked. Unbreakable if your teammates won't come to get you. Maybe Aftercare if you're altruistic?
If you don't like being injured then use self care, desperate measures, botany and either resilience or spine chill.
-
I don't see why the rifts are only 70 days. I get the idea of 70 days and 70 tiers, but those 20 days without a rift is so pointless, if they gave us the full 90 days it would be much less stressful.
-
Why can't survivors just accept ruin+undying and why can't killers just accept ds+unbreakable. They're good perks and are there to be used.
